Free Motion T3 - closed from June to September

Soy del Reino Unido y alquilé una bicicleta en Free Motion T3. Fueron muy serviciales y muy fáciles de contactar por correo electrónico con una respuesta muy rápida. En la tienda, Libby (reserva) y Paul (mecánico) me atendieron brillantemente. Libby me dio excelentes consejos sobre rutas y Paul me ayudó cuando olvidé traer el adaptador adecuado para mi montura Garmin. Fue muy agradable y, si bien para él era una pequeña tarea, para mí supuso una gran diferencia poder utilizar el Garmin para el viaje. ¡Leyenda absoluta! Tenía una bicicleta de carretera BH con cassette 50/34 y 34 que era perfecta para la subida de Adeje a Arona, Vilaflor y hasta el Teide. Otra muy buena idea de Free Motion fue toda la información de reserva y los números de emergencia importantes en una pegatina en el cuadro de la bicicleta. Dado que hace unos años se me reventó un neumático (una empresa de alquiler diferente), pensé que era muy simple pero muy efectivo. También tenían una gran selección de alimentos energéticos y tabletas, etc. Considerándolo todo, una excelente tienda de alquiler de bicicletas y gracias a Libby y Paul por una excelente experiencia.

Buena atención en tienda, te explican todas las opciones de alquiler si quieres y distintas rutas para poder hacer, se puede alquilar en el l día si hay disponibilidad, si necesitas casco esta incluido en el alquiler, lo que tienes que llevar son las zapatillas, si por un casual no tienes te ponen pedales normales, las bicis estupendas y con buena puesta apunto, sin duda un opción genial para alquilar bici en Tenerife.

Buena atención y gestión de los chicos de la tienda, en principio alquilé una de carretera normal pero a última hora me decidí por una eléctrica y me lo gestionaron sin problemas.
Subí al Teide con ella y funcionó perfectamente, muy contento con la experiencia

Soy un usuario de silla de ruedas que vino a Tenerife de vacaciones, se pinchó un neumático accidentalmente, encontré este lugar en maps. El personal es muy amable y profesional. He pasado literalmente 7 minutos esperando mi rueda. ¡Tan rapido! Por mi servicio de salvar vidas. Realmente disfruté el lugar.

Contraté un Specialized Tarmac SL7 eTap durante unos días, pero desafortunadamente el FD se estaba portando mal cuando lo recogí, así que me cambiaron a la versión Di2 y me devolvieron el cargo de un día de alquiler. No es gran cosa para mí, pero un gran servicio al cliente.

Libby, que me atendió, fue muy amable y conocedora y me dio excelentes consejos sobre los viajes locales (¡cuidado con los taxis!).

Gran servicio, buena selección de bicicletas y justo al otro lado de la calle desde el lugar donde nos alojábamos. Volveré a utilizar a estos chicos la próxima vez que esté en Tenerife.

Conseguí una bicicleta fabulosa por un precio muy económico, definitivamente recomiendo bicicleta de carretera BH. Pero lo mejor fue el servicio y la asesoría brindada por un tipo llamado Matko, recomendó rutas, restaurantes y fue de gran ayuda con todos los requisitos que teníamos.

Tuve mi bicicleta revisada por Matko. Hizo un trabajo increíble. La moto estaba como nueva después de la revisión y todo se hizo a un precio muy razonable.

La tienda también es excelente, y tienen una variedad de equipos de ciclismo de alta calidad y la mejor selección de bicicletas en la isla.

¡Definitivamente regresaré a la tienda para todas mis necesidades de ciclismo!

Una pena que una tienda tan potente no cuide los detalles, trataré de resumir.
- Me desplace 80kms solo por la fama de la tienda. Tras una primera visita a ambas tiendas, me decido a comprar una BH.
- A partir de aquí, continuamos el trato por mail (26/01) Reservo con 100€ (27/01), la traen de Las Palmas, les pido algún extra (vinilos protectores del cuadro y tubelizar ruedas) Lo curioso es que son los propios trabajadores de la tienda los que me ofrecen esto, me gusta la idea y los añado al pedido.
- Me avisan a los días que la bici ya está en la tienda. Hago la transferencia final y espero a que me confirmen para ir a por ella. (02/02) Hay que decir que los plazos de espera y respuesta fueron correctos.
- Me desplazo de nuevo 80kms para ir a recoger la bici y me encuentro:
• Nadie en la tienda de Los Cristianos habla español, por lo que tengo que hablar en inglés con ellos (esto ya me pasó en la primera visita)
• La bici no estaba preparada, el mecánico me dice que esta solo y desbordado (cosa que no es mi problema, no me deberian haber avisado de que estaba lista)
• Le pregunto la presión corrcta para las ruedas tubelizadas y me dice que no lo están, y que tampoco me lo puede hacer por falta de maquinaria (me podrían haber dicho esto y no me desplazaba hasta allí)
• Salgo a probarla y saltan todos los cambios, vuelvo y el mecánico me los ajusta en 3 min y sin mucho cariño. Vuelvo a probarlos y siguen mal. Sin ganas de seguir allí y con otras cosas que hacer me voy.
- Le envié un mail con todos estos comentarios el 11/02 y aún sin respuesta. No me gusta nada poner reseñas de este tipo, pero no veo la solución. He salido varias veces con la bici y es muy incómodo que los cambios vayan saltando todo el rato. Me da rabia tener que acudir a un mecánico y mucho menos puedo y quiero bajar al sur de nuevo para que arreglen su propio error.
Lo siento, pero 0 recomendable estas tiendas.

Made a reservation. Got a booking number. But … No bike available when I arrived. Phoned 3 times, followed by an e-mail. Last phone call they said they ‘ll try to find a solution, but a real answer never came. For me: not reliable and zero service. Free Motion T3 Tenerife never ever again for me.

Edit (after reaction T3) : ok, fair enough to blame it on me. Probably an e-mail in my spam folder. But, doesn't change the fact that you could 've kept me informed and let me know you had no solution for me, so I could 've started the search for a bike earlier. Anyway, solution found elsewhere, but a shame I lost a few moments on my cycling holiday.

Le vélo était prêt, réglages parfait, équipé des pédales comme prévu et accompagné d'un set de secours. J'ai même eu le droit à un support Garmin. Vraiment bien. Je vous les recommande.

Have received excellent service renting road bikes from Free Motion in Gran Canaria in the past. This time the Free Motion team in Los Christianos was super helpful with boxes, space and spares as we packed our bikes for the flight home at the end of the Granguanche.

First, my girlfriend was given a BH roadbike where the stem broke after 5km, leaving her in a potentially very dangerous situation. Upon return, one mechanic said to the other „lo digo“, meaning they knew the stem was previously broken. For the sake of our holidays, I did not discuss the matter any further and we received a new bike. Then, my rented Specialized 2022 had a number of front wheel flat tires. I changed the tubes twice, FreeMotion once as well, but the Victoria tire was so old and the rubber so worn down and hard (brittle) that a third front flat occured within the next 10km. The only thing the mechanic had to say was if I checked the inside of the tire, when the obvious problem was a worn down tire. Free Motion is saving a lot of money by fitting their great bikes with old tires, leaving the mechanical problems to their customers. No refund was given. Not very happy with the experience to be honest as I had to give up on three tours.

Good bikes, great customer service, friendly and the guy gave me a drinking bottle for free! Thanks, I will come back

Rented Specialized sl7 Tarmac Di2 for 8 days. Came with my own 4iiii powercrank and speedplay pedals, no problem for the staff to put those on. The bike was great, great customer service and genuinely nice people! The location of T3 is easy to find and plenty of parking. I will definitely come back to hire bikes again and would 100% recommend! Thank you Free Motion T3!

Rented a Specialized Tarmac SL7 for a couple of days. Bike was great, suitable gearing for the Tenerife hills and set-up in advance to my size. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back here again.

Rented a bike there for several days. Very nice and competent customer service during the choice process.
Unfortunately I had an accident, and even then we came to a good agreement on bike return.

Great service from the team during my recent stay in Tenerife. Hired a Di2 equipped SL7. Bike was setup perfectly when I arrived to pick it up. Performance was flawless once out on the road. Excellent outfit. Free Motion gave me a Specialized Roubaix Di2 which was perfect for the Tenerife roads and very well set up. Provided very helpful guidance on the routes as well. Highly recommend.

Did the Wednesday ride with 4 others and it was tough, but awesome scenery. Stopped for a quick cake and coffee about 1/3 of the way through. The new model cannondale supersix evo I had looked brand new. Would recommend these guys. Update FEB 2022 - not currently doing tours but hired a bike.

Fabian was happy to provide me with route recommendations that fitted in with my fitness level and time available.

Thoroughly recommend after brilliant bike and customer service.

Rented a bike last week to ride Mount Teide from western side. At 108 k with 2700 m ascent I wanted a com fortable bike. They had a superb selection and the Specialised Roubaix I chose was as new and handled like a train on tracks. Before my visit they patiently handled my queries. Booking and setting up the bike was done in a relaxed manner but with utmost attention to detail. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Great bikes, great customer service and genuinely nice people! Great location and easy parking near plenty of cafes/ restaurants for post ride refuelling. At short notice because of the weather we requested to delay our bike hire for a few days (we were staying in the north and it was tipping it down!) and T3 were really accomodating. The online booking process is really simple and easy to get the bike you want with quick response time if you have any questions. It's easy to get what you're looking for and at no point was there any unsolicited/ patronising 'advice' which being a female rider I have had so many times from bike shops assuming I don't know what I'm doing. Both bikes were basically brand new and in super condition. The guys at collection were really pleasant. I will definitely come back to hire bikes again and would 100% recommend thanks Free Motion T3!

Rented a turbo levo sl comp carbon for 3 days. Great bike shop with good service and advice. Very high standards for equipment and service. The riding around is incredible and to be supported from a great shop with a wide variety of bikes is excellent. Not the cheapest but i tell you its the best and worth it to ride the best bikes on any adventure of ride you choose. Thank-you and will be back!

Alquilé MTB 15 días con ellos. Me atendieron Julian y Ulises. Julian un pro de la bici que me aconsejó con respecto a rutas, bici que consideraba mejor para mí, acertó de lleno. Ulises muy cercano y con mucha experiencia de taller. Ambos me trataron de mimo, súper-cercanos.
Bicis de todos los niveles, Amateur y pro, tanto MTB, rígidas, dobles, aluminio, carbono, eléctricas, como carretera muy nuevas todas (cannondale, specialized y BH).
El taller que tienen es un puntazo para los imprevistos que siempre surgen y para limpiar, engrasar y revisar periódicamente.

PD: Si haces mucho sendero o rutas un poco técnicas conviene líquido anti-pinchazos en la cámara ya que no se alquilan tubelizadas

Tienen vídeos es you tube de bicicletas Cannondale gama alta! Llamas y dicen q no lan tienen.por no hablar de su página web q va fatal y salen fotos en el inicio de bicicletas q no tienen.no son serios

Hired road bikes for just one day. Exceptional service from Sintija. She gave us some really good advice about a route. The bikes were in excellent condition. Obviously well serviced. We were recommended to upgrade to hydraulic disk brakes which we benefited from on the downhill sections.

Very nice shop. The place has a modern and trendy feel to it. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. The bikes are well taken care of. I made my reservation online and the bike was well prepared when I picked it up. They let you test the bike in the street and adjustments are made right away. I would definitely use Free Motion again if I return to the Canaries.
