Gobycar Tenerife

El servicio fue rápido y fácil, el auto perfecto. El servicio de traslado en autobús no era tan frecuente, por lo que se espera que la recogida y el regreso en general no sean tan rápidos. Pero dado el auto y el servicio, felizmente los usaría nuevamente.

Goby Car en Tenerife Sur ofrece un servicio de alquiler de coches fiable y eficiente. Al llegar al aeropuerto, su servicio de transporte nos transportó rápidamente a su oficina. Aunque hubo cola para completar el documento, el personal brindó un servicio razonablemente rápido. El coche proporcionado estaba en buenas condiciones y a un precio razonable.

Devolver el coche fue sin complicaciones; su equipo realizó una inspección rápida y obtuvo autorización en cuestión de minutos. El depósito fue liberado rápidamente en 15 minutos. Su servicio de transporte de regreso al aeropuerto fue conveniente. En general, Goby Car brindó una experiencia de alquiler de automóviles confiable y encomiable en el sur de Tenerife, lo que hizo que nuestro viaje fuera perfecto y sin estrés.

No recomendable:
- 30 minutos de espera para el servicio de traslado.
- 1 1/2h de espera en recepción
- el coche no tenía el depósito lleno. Nos ofrecieron otro coche y tendríamos que esperar una hora más. No se ofrece otra compensación
- No se notó ningún rasguño en su papel así que me dijeron que debía hacer una foto y lo hice. En el momento de la entrega intentaron hacerme pagar el rasguño. Por suerte tenía foto aunque dijeron que normalmente no lo hacen así porque la foto puede estar alterada

Mi peor alquiler de auto que he tenido.
Los vehículos no se entregan limpios, especialmente las ventanillas por las que apenas se puede ver.
El personal se ocupa principalmente de vender servicios adicionales o mejoras. Organizacionalmente una imposición.
La distancia adicional desde el aeropuerto también es agotadora, ya que el servicio de transporte circula de forma irregular. La “estación de recogida” en el aeropuerto también es muy remota cuando llegas allí.

Lamentablemente tuve una muy mala experiencia con esta empresa de alquiler de coches.
Tuvimos que esperar 1 hora y media para llegar al mostrador. Luego nuestra tarjeta de crédito no fue aceptada para el depósito porque decía débito en el reverso. Les explicamos que todavía era una tarjeta de crédito, pero ni siquiera la probaron.
En cambio, tuvimos que pagar un seguro adicional por 128 euros, aunque ya estaba incluido en nuestra reserva.
Después de unas buenas 2 horas de espera, finalmente pudimos ir a nuestro auto, que ni siquiera era el auto que habíamos alquilado: ¡era una rebaja! No hubo comunicación sobre esto.

No podíamos entender en absoluto por qué nuestra tarjeta de crédito no fue aceptada y, sobre todo, fue rechazada enérgicamente desde el principio.

No puedo recomendar esta empresa de alquiler de coches, nos sentimos totalmente estafados y ciertamente no volveremos a alquilar un coche allí.

Horarios de apertura no respetados. No nos recogieron como se había acordado previamente por teléfono. No se comunican los cambios en los horarios de apertura ni en los puntos de recogida, y no se aceptan medios de pago modernos. (Recargo de 200 euros por 11 días si no tienes la tarjeta de crédito del proveedor deseado). El coche no estaba listo para circular y tenía tantos daños que inmediatamente se sabe que el “seguro adicional” de 200 euros es una pura estafa, porque evidentemente los daños no se reparan.

Alles hat super geklappt. Tolles, neues Auto zu einem wirklich fairen Preis! Gerne wieder.

They tried to charge us for dents on the car which where not done by us. Unfortunately for us, we have not taken pictures of the under of the car before (obviously they strangely asked u if we did before checking the car and if we had taken insurance! Weird isn’t it?).
Not very honest in my opinion as we have only done motorway and parking of the hotel and the car was pristine.

They rent car not suited for the island, the horse power is too low and the car struggles to go up in slopes. Truly dangerous on a mountain island. I'm sure this is something forbidden

Horrible company. If you want to rent here, you will be making a great mistake. Firstly, the office is not at the airport (unlike every other car rental company there is here) and there is supposed to be a shuttle bus to bring you to their office. Unless.no one comes to pick you up. We waited for an hour until we decided this is too much. What was most appalling was the customer service from the people at the office. We called and were met with an attitude that suggested they found us very repulsive. They told us how the shuttle is 5 minutes away, yet 30 minutes later it was nowhere to be found. They even stopped answering our mobiles after the first time. Finally, a very rude lady just hung up when we were asking the very valid question of when the shuttle is coming. Do not rent here.

Despite some positives, I would avoid this company next time I'm on Tenerife. I took the reviews seriously, and to avoid head ache I took out the full insurance with them, so they wouldn't be upselling anything to me.

In 10 days, I had two cars with this company. My first 7 days I had a Kia, and Seat for another 3. I extended my stay on the island, but you cannot just extend the car rental, you have to come to the office and register a new contract. Waste of fuel, but fine, not a biggie.

Both cars were not new. The Seat was a better car but had scuffs and dents all around it. And both cars had around 50k km on the clock. Fine, not a biggie.

The in-person contact was good. Everyone spoke English to me no problem. Transfer was fine. A bit inconvenient, but not a biggie.

However, where this company seriously breaks down, is online communication. They just simply do not respond to emails, and if they do it's always with a significant delay. For some reason, they have two emails, neither respond on time, so if there's something urgent, forget about it.

Additionally, as neither of two cars had problems, the manager told me the deposits would be returned instantly, so I headed to the airport with clear mind. Nevertheless, as of today, 14 and 17 days after I handed back each respective car, I still have not received neither of the 200 euro deposits. My emails are going nowhere, they are not being responded too.

I don't know if I will ever get my money, but even if I do, this is way too big of a time gap.

With the above in mind, I just cannot take the company seriously. There are many other car rentals on the island within this price range that offer a better service. There was nothing special about the service that would offset the deposit issue for me. Avoid.

Dont rent there! At pick up they tell you that its not allowed to switch the canarian islands with the car because its written in their terms and conditions. Did the booking 2 weeks in advance and havent get back 1 cent! Its a massive rip off, so we did loose a lot of our money. Use Cicar instead of Gobycar.

Der Shuttle vom Flughafen zu Gobycar war super. Die Übergabe unseres Leihwagens ging reibungslos über die Bühne. Die Mitarbeiterin war freundlich und hatte noch ein paar Tipps für uns. Alles in allem sehr guter Service.

Scammers. Booked for one price, but once we arrived for pickup (late at night), staff forced us to pay 170 Euros extra. They initially lied about the reason (claimed that it was impossible to use a debit card for the deposit payment without this charge). Eventually they admitted it WAS possible, but company policy is to force the 170 Euro charge, or they don't make enough profit on the rental.

There were two other groups of customers arriving at the same time, and they received the same treatment. We were all disgusted, but had no choice but to pay, given that it was so late at night. A stressful and upsetting start to a holiday.

A la fin de la location, on nous a accusé d'avoir rayé la voiture. Quand nous avons pris la voiture elle était sale, pleine de tâches de produits de lavage, et cela ne nous a pas permis de faire un état des lieux aussi précis et pointilleux que lors du retour du véhicule. Ils ont refusé de nous montrer les photos prises lors de l'état des lieux pour que l'on puisse justifier de notre bonne foi. Ils ont également refusé de nous montrer le précédent contrat de location qui aurait pu justifier de la présence préalable de cette tout légère rayure visible uniquement dans le reflet du soleil. Pour conclure ils nous ont pris de haut et nous ont dit qu'il fallait prendre leur assurance pour ne pas avoir de problème. Nous ressentons beaucoup de malhonnêté et d'injustice pour une fin de week end. En d autre terme passez votre chemin.

ARNAQUE ASSUREE.prix attractif et gentillesse à l arrivée.le retour du véhicule est tout l inverse, arrogant et malhonnête au retour.ils font tout et vous reprochent tout pour récupérer une partie de votre caution jusqu a ne pas vous montrer leurs photos de départ.ils vous demandes de montrer nos photos pour justifier de notre bonne fois, bilan il retire une partie de la caution. A NE PAS PRENDRE, injuste et malhonnête

Nous sommes arrivés à 23h et leur bureau ferme à 21h, ce sont les seuls à fermer si tôt, obligation de prendre un taxi.
Aucun tour de la voiture n'a été fait en la prenant et en la rendant on me dit qu'il y a des griffes supplémentaires à celles qui existaient déjà et me demande si j'ai pris des photos pour preuve! Tout ça pour prélever 140 € de la caution.

Great car rental company, the rep met us where they said they will. The coach took us to the rental office, the team were very friendly and did advise to check the car and take pictures of any damage before driving it away.

On returning the car the rep walked around the car, I highlighted that one of the scratches wasn't on the paperwork, so I showed him the photo and he was all good about it.

Overall great service, good clean car.recommended

Le seul bémol est que l'agence se trouve à 2,5 km, mais une navette est en place. N'ayant pas loué directement chez eux j'ai eu du mal a trouver le renseignement. Une personne vous attend dans le hall arrivées avec un écriteau Gobycar. Service sérieux.
