Servicio lento. Compré pasta de atún y de mi pareja, porciones pequeñas y platos un poco extraños. Algunos platos de otros invitados, sin embargo, parecen más sabrosos. El tiramisú no era tiramisú, sino más bien una mousse.
Los servidores son muy agradables pero aumentan demasiado el consumo. J'ai trouvé dans mes pâtes un morceau de quelque chose très dur (1cm sur 0,5 cm) je ne sais pas ce que c'était - j'en ai informé une personne du service qui a dit un petit.sorry … y es todo! El restaurante se basa principalmente en la apariencia, en mi opinión, durante toda nuestra comida un cocinero hizo pasta fresca… no era el momento adecuado en mi opinión pero debería haber dado una idea de frescura y artesanía a los clientes…
Los canelones de mar No respetan la descripción del menu, quemados y de sabor a congelado horneado. La pizza no creo que la haga un napolitano. No lo creo por Santa Maria. Y el pacheri de la nonna los vi congelados y pasados por la padella. Dejar la cocina a la vista pre supone que si alguien como yo (vamos a llamarme curiosa para no entrar en detalles de mi currículum) pues es fácil ver los detalles que repercuten en el gusto. Quisimos celebrar nuestro aniversario allí, pero fue una agradable decepción ya que el personal es sumamente amable.
What you see in the photo is attempt No. 2 of serving a ridiculously small pizza Magherita. You could think, that a cook would have a look under the pizza, when one comes back completely burned on the underside, but no. You could think that the staff would say sorry after insulting their guest with this piece of coal, also no. You ruined the evening of a beautiful day. I left the restaurant hungry and even had to pay my drink, which was a small and overpriced coke.
I'm a very understanding guest. You could have said, that your oven has a problem and apologized for this inconvenience – I would not write this review now. You could have given me the drink for free and I would have looked for another restaurant without any anger. But you decided to become noticeably more dismissive and unfriendly.
I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.
To start the bottle of olive oil is not an Extra virgin but a cheap refill. Vitello tonnato tasteless and served with very little salsa tonnata, the rack of lamb supposed to be lacked with honey but it wasn't and was served with 2 fingers of fat, served with old reheated potatoes, and a dry polenta. The spaghetti ghitarra were made with an old seafood sauce and 2 fingers of oil, the rack of lamb was very greasy with 2 fingers of fat, the focaccia Was Good, the coulant au chocolat was good but the Millefoglie wasn't fresh at all, Over all was one of the worst meal we never had, Notting was fresh and finally very expensive. We couldn't belive how bad a restaurant can be! The day after we both had diarrhea Stay away from this place!
Not a great dining experience at all high prices for little food, very noisy atmosphere 2 of the waiters in particular shouting to each other, girl who seated us quiet & professional, long wait for food.
We were staying over the road at the GF Gran Costa Adeje Hotel so visited this place on numerous occasions and it did not disappoint.
My partner and I are both vegetarian and upon initially looking at the menu thought that the options were limited for us. However, we were wrong. The staff were able to adapt some of the dishes for us and actually the food we ate was amazing. Twice I had the cheesy truffle gnocchi, and now as I type this review I can feel my self salivating over the dish. And my partner highly rated the aubergine pizza. Oh and she states, that the Barriquito she had here, was the best barriquito that she had in Tenerife, and she had many ;) The drinks were very good in general.
But the real stars of the show in this place are the 2 members of staff that made us feel so valued and welcome (Marina and Alex). They were friendly, fun and professional. They were always happy to see us and made us feel like VIPs when visited, which made the experience of dining here special.

La experiencia no ha sido muy grata. Los platos son pequeños, nos quedamos con hambre y el encargado me acusó de haber sido una clienta que dejó la cuenta sin pagar. ¡Cuando era mi primera vez en el restaurante! No volveré. Es muy fácil pedir una disculpa a tiempo con educación.
Il Vecchio was a complete fluke… We were knackered from travelling so just decided to pop over the road from our hotel to have dinner and what fluke it was! Alex and our servers were really welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Focaccia for starter to share and our mains were Seafood Spaghetti, Beef Tagliatelle, Passatelli Romagnola and Margherita Pizza. Each dish was absolutely amazing especially the pasta dishes! The bill came to €109 which included a Fanta Lemon, beer and bottle of white wine and a tip which I think is very reasonable! After our first night, we ended up coming back at least another 5 times during our 2 week holiday! Highly recommend Il Vecchio and we will be back in December. Thank you to Alex and his amazing team!
Menu descriptions don't match the foodstuffs served. Overly expensive meals and wine. Poor service. Tourist type expensive tat at best. Not recommended.
Muy bueno, de lo mejor que hemos probado por la zona. Es italiano, tiene unas pizzas, pasta y postres muy buenos, así como buena carta de vinos. Atención muy detallada del camarero q nos atendió, siendo muy paciente con nuestros peques.
Loved it! I don't like laking reviews but it deserve a higher score.no stupid decor, no tourist trap, just a very very good italian restaurant with enough class to feel luxurious.
Delicious italian food with good service. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because the don't offer any gluten-free pasta dishes in their menu, which is completely unacceptable.
Firstly, I should say that the food is very good and the waiting staff are super friendly. The kitchen is open to view too, which always instills confidence as a diner - no place to hide poor practices. However, and we may have just been unlucky, but it took 2 hours and 30 minutes to serve 3 courses (9 dishes in total). In the end the kids had to be taken home by my wife whilst I stayed to try and get the bill and pay - it was so late the kids had flopped by this point. The chateau-briande is recommended, but bear in mind that "medium" is perhaps what the average British diner would consider rare. Save space for the chocolate coulant for dessert!
La pizza de quesos deliciosa, masa ligera y crujiente con quesos de calidad. Precio normal. La porcion de pasta marinera muy pequeña (más bien media porción) pero sabrosa. Los postres fueron la mayor sorpresa, cheesecake un espectáculo y el tiramisú debería ser pecado, tan cremoso y decadente. El barraquito me pareció demasiado caro (zona alta) Los Postres y el servicio simpático, amable y atento se ganaron las 5 estrellas
Nice place fantastic staff good clean premises nice ambience. Food was very good although portion size are quite small normally we would just have starter and a main dish but we did have plenty of room for dessert. Value for money not really bit on expensive side and as I said portion size are SMALL. BUT QUITE TASTY. I did like it as did my other half would go back again probably for pizza as these look quite tasty and moreish. Looking around at other people's plates pasta was quite popular and portioned a bit better.
Previously visited this restaurant March 2019 and gave a 5 star review. We returned in Nov 21 and how different things are. The restaurant is still nice but the food was very disappointing. Scallops were cold. Lobster risotto was tasteless. Pork belly needed browning. Now overpriced. Will not return again.
Went for dinner for my father’s birthday during our holiday in Tenerife. Food was absolutely phenomenal, service excellent and atmosphere really nice. Would highly recommend.
Simplemente genial. Esperábamos un ligar super turístico (que lo es) pero la comida para nada. Buena calidad, platos bien presentados, con saborrs exquisitos. El servicio de 10! Nos atendieron varios chicos a cada cual mas amable.
Très bon restaurant, cuisine raffinée et très fraîche. Des plats variés pour tout les goûts. Les serveurs sont très agréables avec les clients, ils vous conseillent très bien sur les plats et vins. Rapport qualité prix tout à fait correct. +- 50€ par personne. Apéro, entrées, plats, dessert, vin, soft et pousse café. Je recommande vivement l'endroit.je met d autres photos du bon repas que nous avons encore fait le lendemain midi 10/08/19. Vraiment extra
Cocina Italiana, con excelente relación Precio Calidad. La cocina está a la vista, preparan sus propias pasta, lugar muy acogedor. El servicio impecable. % Recomiendo.
Amazing food prepared with great care in a kitchen by chefs on display to guests through large windows from the restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable pricing. Will visit again (probably tomorrow) and would highly recommend to all.
Depending on the dish it's a hit or a miss (for me personally and 2 others i know). Staff is friendly. Prices just a bit higher then standard prices, but its normal around this area of Tenerife.
Sehr schönes Ambiente. Man wird plaziert, leise Pianomusik. Romantisch. Preise eher gehoben, aber nicht dramatisch. Sehr aufmerksames und gut geschultes Personal. Die Pizza ist super. Die Aufläufe und Pastaportionen sind aber zu klein geraten. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.
Well where do I start. Probably the best food you are going to eat in Costa adeje. Jesus looked after us very well. We had a great time and loved so much, we have booked a second time. If you get the chance please go and enjoy some of the best cooking you will get.
