Kayak Fuerteventura

Mi pareja y yo reservamos esto de forma espontánea en nuestro viaje a Fuerteventura después de toparnos con ellos en línea. ¡No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente! Mi compañero es instructor de kayak y me encanta remar, pero no tengo ni la mitad de experiencia que él. En una semana con vientos más fuertes, nos aventuramos hacia el sur de la isla para tomar un poco de viento y Jorge, nuestro instructor, fue increíble. Pudo ayudarme en condiciones en las que no confiaba, pero le dio a mi compañero más libertad para intentar otras cosas. Súper complaciente para todos nuestros niveles. Fue excelente al asegurarse de que todo el grupo estuviera cómodo y realmente hizo que el día fuera increíble. Realmente no podemos agradecerle lo suficiente y definitivamente reservaremos nuevamente en otro viaje a Fuerteventura. También fue excelente respondiendo todas nuestras preguntas por correo electrónico y mensaje de texto antes del viaje y nos avisó con un par de días de antelación. Por suerte tenía algo de espacio. La excursión en kayak a la Isla de Lobos con Jorge ha sido una pasada. Ademas de pasarlo en grande con el, hemos aprendido un monton de curiosidades sobre la isla. Sin duda repetiría! Gracias Jorge!

Hicimos la travesía a la Isla de Lobos con mi compañera y lo pasamos genial! Una excursión totalmente recomendable si venís a Fuerteventura.

Pasamos un día fantástico en el mar y alrededor de la isla de Los Lobos. Jorge es un guía y entrenador de kayak con mucha experiencia. Nos lo pasamos muy bien juntos navegando en kayak por el mar, a lo largo de la costa de Los Lobos, visitando pequeñas y acogedoras bahías, hicimos un agradable snorkel en la costa este con agua muy clara y mucha vida marina agradable. Probamos algo de surf de olas y aventuras en las olas. Súper divertido. ¡Muchas gracias Jorge! Damos las mejores recomendaciones. Saludos cordiales Stefan y Kristina de Suecia.

Experiencia muy recomendable. Preciosa la ruta, y el lugar donde llegamos es un paraíso. Jorge, el instructor, muy profesional y agradable en todo momento. Nos hizo pasar una mañana maravillosa. Para repetir, sin duda.

Fue una gran experiencia la de hacer la actividad con Jorge.

Antes de salir nos hizo una explicación muy útil tanto de técnica como de seguridad, algo que no habíamos encontrado en experiencias anteriores del mismo estilo.

Durante la salida recibimos un montón de información relevante tanto de lo que veíamos como de la isla en general. Jorge, además de intructor de kayak y surf, es técnico medioambiental y un apasionado de la ornitología. Aprendimos un montón de geología, fauna actóctona y curiosidades climáticas de la zona.

La actividad incluye almuerzo y fotos, que es un detalle que también se agradece.

En definitiva tuvimos una experiencia muy por encima de lo que esperamos. Si buscáis comoaginar vuestra visita a Fuerteventura con hacer algo de deporte, mientras os divertís y aprendéis, no dudéis en confiar en Jorge!

Realmente un gran día, Jorge sabe mucho sobre la isla y el kayak fue una gran experiencia.

Tuvimos una gran y relajante excursión en kayak a Lobos Jorge es un guía muy agradable y experimentado que explicó muy bien y compartió su pasión por el océano y la isla, esa es la mejor manera de visitar Lobos y evitar a los turistas. Tuvimos buenas y claras instrucciones para navegar en kayak, el viaje a Lobos fue bastante fácil, luego caminamos un poco por la isla y fuimos a bucear en aguas hermosas y transparentes. Definitivamente lo recomiendo, ¡muchas gracias!

Merci encore Jorge pour tous tes conseils! Je recommande TRES vivement si vous souhaitez progresser vite, bien, sur de très bons kayaks, dans une ambiance très amicale. Et Jorge parle bien français aussi, pour ceux qui maîtrisent moins l'anglais et l'espagnol. Sans parler des conditions de nav que propose Fuerteventura, dès que le vent forcit un peu, comme des zones abritées pour "travailler" techniquement au calme

Fue de lo más divertido que hicimos durante las vacaciones. El recorrido fue muy sencillo y nuestro guía y monitor Jorge, junto a su pequeña ayudante Lucía, fueron siempre muy majos y atentos. Esperamos volver a repetir y hacer algún trayecto más largo y prepararnos para ello. Mil gracias a Jorge y su hija Lucía por el día, saludos de Néstor y Gema.

We (3 teenagers) had a great day sea kayaking with Jorge, he explained everything really well and took us to some cool places. We even got to see a turtle!

Una experiencia genial. Jorge es un gran guía y nos llevó a una zona increíble en la que vimos gran cantidad de peces. Nos encantó. Muy recomendable

This guy is a legend! We hired two P and H composite sea kayaks. Jorge gave us great advice on where to paddle. The tidal range isn't big compared to the UK but the wind and swell in the area mean that you need to be experience if you are going out without an instructor. We circumnavigated Labos which was around 15 miles. There was a lot of confused water where tide and swells met at the North end if Labos. We had a great day out and I would fully recommend. Jorge also has two man kayaks for beginners. We also saw a giant turtle!

Estuve haciendo una ruta la semana pasada con Jorge. El unico guia de Fuerteventura con titulacion oficial para hacer salidas guiadas en kayak, y se nota. Clase magistral de iniciacion y un trato excelente. Repetireos sin duda.

Una experiencia increíble. Un gran día de kayak por la costa, disfrutando del paisaje y de la fauna que nos dejó un par de regalos inolvidables

Great trip to Lobos with Jorge earlier this week. Weather conditions were perfect. Met 2 other groups from Denmark and Canada on the trip. Everyone was so friendly. Such a unique place. You will only find a trip like this in Furteventura. Excellent choice of composite kayaks and paddles from the P&H, NDK and Celtic ranges. Snorkeling was excellent too. Jorge, you make the job look easy and your knowledge of local conditions, flora and fauna is second to none. Top man in my book. Look me up if you ever make it to Ireland.

La travesía hasta Lobos con Jorge es una experiencia magnífica. Jorge derrocha profesionalidad y transmite una enorme confianza. Disfrutamos del día y fijamos algunas nociones sobre el kayak en mar abierto. Sin duda una actividad muy recomendable. ¡ Un día inolvidable’

Hemos echo una excursión de Kayak con Jorge y fue estupendo! Jorge explica las técnicas para remar y hacerlo bien, nos llevó hasta una cueva y hicimos snorkel acompañado con un pic nic! Hemos pasado un día estupenda de Kayak.
El dueño es un profesional titulado y con todas las garantías. Todos los equipos desinfectados convenientemente.
Muy agradable de trato y te enseña estupendamente los conceptos del piragüismo además de hacer mucho hincapié en las medidas de seguridad.
También hemos hecho un poco de snorkel y ha sido fantástico.
Experiencia 100% recomendable!

Una experiencia genial. Súper recomendable la zona del sureste para el snorkel. Llegamos a una pequeña cala rocosa a la que sólo se puede acceder con kayak. Un rinconcito secreto.
A pesar de ser la primera vez que íbamos en kayak nos divertimos y nos sentimos muy seguros con las explicaciones y la atención de Jorge.

I was confirmed pick up 9am at my hotel in corralejo I have the emails to prove it. I was waiting outside my hotel since 08.45. And then when I finally got hold of him he refused to come back and denied the confirmation. Awful company

We had a great time and a lot of fun with the guided tour from Fuerteventura to Lobos Island! Lobos Island is awesome for kayaking and snorkeling. I highly recommend this tour!

Firstly I would like to apologise for this late entry of my review. It has been over a year now that I joined Jorge on a day out kayaking off Corralejo. I was with about five other couples. I was able to book online prior to my arrival at Fuerteventura, which was very helpful. Jorge was a first class instrutor who was very through with and how to stay safe whilst out on the water. It was a very interesting day out. Jorge was very informative and knowledgeable about where and what marine life we might encounter. I don't want to go on too much. Other to thank Jorge for his patience with me as not once but three times I managed to turn my Kayak over, thankfully due to his calm and reassuring assistance I am able to give this account of events.
First class experience and would definitely recommend to anyone wondering whether to go on a kayaking adventure.

Una experiencia muy chula, no pudimos ir a Lobos que era la ruta inicial pero la alternativa estuvo muy bien, un lugar precioso, sin gente y con peces que no ves en Lobos (fuimos a Lobos después por nuestra cuenta y aunque también merece la pena vimos muchos menos tipos de peces).
El trato de Jorge fenomenal.
Repetiríamos sin duda.

Thank you so much for taking us kayaking and snorkelling. The experience was unique and memorable. It was lovely to visit a part of the island that was less touristy and more secluded. We even got to see some wild goats whilst kayaking and an octopus whilst snorkelling around a cave which was great. We picked up a lot of kayaking techniques throughout the excursion and felt everything was explained well. We also loved learning more about the history of the island and received some excellent recommendations on where else to visit. Hope to see you again soon and looking forward to seeing the pictures! We went kayaking off the west coast of fuerteventura with Jorge near a small fishing village called pozo negro. This was a beautiful trip and jorge looked after us amazingly, no matter if we knew how to kayak or not. We got the choice of double or single kayaks and even got wetsuits, goggles and snorkels for when we stopped at lunch. The trips run from corralejo, where he picked the others up from their hotel, but he even picked us up in puerto del rosario on his way to the fishing village, which made a big difference to our day and we were very greatful for this. He was very knowledgeable and communicated effectively both when there and over messages beforehand.

Jorge even took many photos of us in our kayak whilst we were paddling around and sent them to us when we returned home, which was lovely as we wouldnt have got these type of pictures otherwise:)

I would highly recommend and although seemingly pricey (ours was €60 each) it is well worth it and you get a lot for it. It does last a long time so remember to bring plenty of water and hats if sunny.

Awesome tour! Everything was perfect. We saw beautiful sceneries and got the chance to experience a whole new adventure. We learned things about the island and visited places we would never have seen! I truly recommend it

This adventure was amazing! I recommend it with all my heart. Amazing tourguide. I felt safe, comfortable and happy! The scenery was so beautyful and we got the chance to explore a part of the island no one has access to. Just awesome.

We knew we wanted to visit Lobos island during our stay at Fuerteventura, and having the option to incorporate it with some kayaking was the perfect day.

Jorge is a great instructor and makes you feel very safe. If you have previous experience or not you go through safety and basic paddling techniques.

It took about 45 mins to get to Lobos, the water when you arrive is stunning. We walked around and Jorge told us some interesting facts. We then had the opportunity to snorkel and given all the equipment for this.

Lunch was basic Spanish omelette, tomatoes, bread and local cheese, plentiful and delicious!

We then made it back which went a lot quicker due to the wind.

The whole day is about 6 hours in total from start to finish which we thought for the price is a fantastic day out including lunch. Jorge is also taking photos throughout which he posts on Facebook and flicker after. Can’t wait to see them!

We had a great day, Jorge is very nice and a brilliant instructor! The view from the kayak was outstanding and we also did really good snorkeling. Apart from the paddling technique, Jorge told us about the birds and sea life that we were going to see. Everything was safe and perfectly organised, I will reapeat for sure!

Wonderful experience and hands down our best experience in Fuerteventura. Jorge is kind, professional and very careful. We couldn't go to Lobos island due to bad weather, so he took us to a beautiful remote area instead, with us being the only people around, so the snorkelling was gorgeous. Before sailing, he explained the paddling technique in detail and how to operate the kayaks. The experience was really nice, and the whole day just flew by! 100% recommended. Many thanks Jorge!
