La Cabaña Macher Restaurante

Aunque no soy vegetariano, elegí la mousse de queso azul, que estaba muy buena.
Para los platos principales, comí pato y, de nuevo, estuvo delicioso. Mi socio eligió cordero de Nueva Zelanda y lo comeré en la próxima visita jajaja.
El restaurante es pequeño (32 plazas) y perfecto para una ocasión especial. Imprescindible reservar.

La Cabana está dirigida por sus propietarios ingleses con mucho amor por la comida que se ofrece.

¡Tanto los entrantes como el plato principal, el postre y las bebidas estuvieron absolutamente a punto! Pocas veces he comido tan bien y los precios son un poco más altos, ¡pero eso es justificable!
Todos los platos eran de alta calidad y el sabor estaba finamente equilibrado y sazonado. Estaremos encantados de volver en nuestra próxima estancia.

Desafortunadamente, lo que realmente me molestó es que en este restaurante se sirve foie gras (foie gras de pato). Por supuesto, cada animal tiene que morir por un trozo de carne.
Pero en 2023 ofrecer un producto que está fabricado con la tortura más cruel para el animal es vergonzoso.

¡Un restaurante tan fantástico que valora la comida de alta calidad debería mantenerse alejado de ese producto!

Pasamos una velada excelente. Nuestra comida fue excelente y luego, mientras nos estábamos instalando, llegó un nuevo grupo que fue una compañía muy fácil. Tuvimos una buena charla entre cursos. La charla fue atendida por el muy buen personal de servicio.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de cenar cerca de la cocina, lo que nos permitió charlar con los cocineros. Fue realmente encantador y lo pasé muy bien.

Espectacular para todos los sentidos, un lugar precioso y de fácil acceso, un trato inmejorable y comida exquisita.

Habían pasado 12 años desde nuestra última visita y no nos sorprendió que La Cabana siga siendo fantástica. Un gran equipo, excelente comida y te hicieron sentir muy bienvenido.

Comió muy bien. Un poco más caro, pero definitivamente vale la pena. Conexión de taxi sin problemas.

La Cabana es un súper restaurante, a solo 8 minutos en taxi desde Puerto del Carmen, vale la pena visitarlo si buscas algo un poco especial y fuera de lo común, excelente comida y dueños realmente amables. Muy recomendable.

I was in Lanzarote for 7 days and eat out each night. The meal at La Cabana was by far the best meal! Lovely food nice ambiance.

Place is good. But combinations lack creativity and balance of flavors in my view. Very well presented. Good service but a bit slow.

Lo primero que voy a decir es que llevaba más de año y medio intentando ir, y que me resultaba imposible porque siempre estaba lleno. Lo segundo, es que lo entiendo perfectamente. Nada más entrar, ya sabes que el sitio de típico, poco. Un lugar muy acogedor y elegante, con una decoración muy cuidada. La atención es muy cercana, pero muy profesional. Una mezcla difícil de conseguir siempre. Y respecto a la cocina, en la parte de salado está tranquilamente en mi top-5 de Lanzarote, y ya es decir. Platos ingleses con toques y técnicas francesas, ingredientes de primera calidad, y una ejecución brillante, al igual que su presentación. Muy equilibrada la terrina de foie, y pleno de sabor el pato. Carta de vinos corta, con una muy pronunciada apuesta por los internacionales. Me decanté por un Beujeolais. Un detalle que me ha gustado mucho es que te dan a modo de aperitivo unos panes pequeños con aceite, y dos mantequillas, y cuando pides el postre, una copita de vino moscatel de Alejandría (me recordó al Guiguan). La carta de postres si que tiene un marcado acento inglés, y aquí sí que quitaría alguno y haría una reestructuración. Estoy pensando en cuándo voy a volver, y espero que sea pronto.

This is the finest restaurant around. I love going here to dine, it has a wide variation of food and the menu varies daily. A real highlight if you are here on holiday. You have to book as its always busy, and no wonder. I will be back and not soon enough

Excelente, producto fresco. La sopa del día un descubrimiento, el roulade salmón mejorable, lubina del día buenísima y para terminar una cheesecake bastante cremosa y sabrosa. Recomendable.

I went to the restaurant 15 years ago and meant to get back well I got there again tonight.
The food was wonderful great service and a good choice of wine.
My misses has a lactose problem and they was accomodating for her and helped as much as the could.
I will return but I won't leave it fifteen years

Excellent food and attentive service. Portion sizes are on the generous size for a fine dining restaurant, which is a positive.but be sure to arrive hungry to appreciate 3 courses! Iberico pork main course was divine. Tables are very close to each other but well selected music cancels out the chatter from your neighbours. Would definitely go again.
