La Piazzetta del Mar

Fui allí para una cita romántica con mi esposa.
Mientras caminábamos buscando un restaurante para nuestra cita, decidimos elegir La Piazzetta del Mar debido a su bonita decoración con vivos colores marinos.

El restaurante estaba prácticamente lleno, sin embargo, el camarero tenía una mesa libre que estaba justo afuera del dosel. Probablemente ese fue el mayor problema esa noche ya que la mesa estaba cerca de una ventana abierta que daba a una habitación llena de basura. No era la vista más agradable, sin embargo, estaba a nuestro lado, por lo que seguíamos viendo el desorden dentro de la habitación.

Para empezar elegimos tartar de solomillo y provola caramellata. Ambos entrantes estaban sabrosos, aunque personalmente creo que al tartar le faltaba sabor y era un poco soso en algunos momentos.

Para nuestros platos principales elegimos una de las pizzas y tiras de ternera. La pizza fue absolutamente fantástica. La carne de res dio en el clavo.

De postre elegimos panna cotta frutas rojo y era de 5*.

Tuvimos un pequeño problema con nuestro camarero porque queríamos pedir bebidas y entrantes primero y luego el plato principal, sin embargo, no estaba contento de tomar nuestro pedido en partes e insistió en pedir todo de una vez, lo cual no estaba preparado para hacer.

Restaurante absolutamente recomendado! Platos exquisitos y excelente servicio. Mirko en particular fue muy profesional y amable, pero los demás compañeros también fueron muy buenos y simpáticos. Sinceras felicitaciones.

Buena comida
Elegimos este restaurante por las buenas críticas de pescado y marisco en Tripadvisor.
Desafortunadamente tienen terraza exterior, pero no nos permitieron fumar en la mesa, así que comimos apresuradamente y nos fuimos.
Muy buena comida, fresca y sabrosa. Aún así, el camarero no pudo presentar las opciones de frutos del mar correctamente (probablemente debido al inglés limitado) y nos dijo que buscáramos en Internet. El menú tampoco ayudó, ya que tienen Saint Jacques, pero tienen nombres diferentes en el menú.
Lasaña estaba deliciosa y los Saint Jacques estaban salteados en su propio jugo con vino y pistacho.
Muy buena comida, pero para nosotros no era un lugar para pasar más rato debido a que no se podía fumar en la mesa y los clientes ruidosos alrededor.

Comimos allí hoy y desafortunadamente nos decepcionó un poco. La pizza estaba un poco flotante y había papas fritas viejas en la pasta y lo que sea, desafortunadamente no fue tan bueno.

Opciones sin gluten, elegí la pizza diavola y la pasta alla vongole. Tiene una buena relación calidad-precio pero no es lo mejor para toda la vida.

Sería feliz si encontrara un restaurante como este en Italia. La ubicación está un poco alejada de las multitudes de turistas habituales, el ambiente está muy bien mantenido, el jefe es divertido y te recoge y la comida.es como en Italia + la frescura del mar. Me impresionó mucho.

Espectacular, hay muchos que dicen pizzería italiana, pero esta es de verdad, pizzas buenísimas y pasta deliciosa, realmente recomendable

The food we chose was OK, apart from the desert which was horrid, and the waiter was friendly-ish but on the whole it was just pretty underwhelming. It's all the little things like being put on a wonky table and when we asked to move we weren't allowed to, one waiter bought the food to the table and dropped it without a word being said and we had to ask for the bill 3 times before we got it.

It just felt like everyone there was pretty stressed out which isn't what you want when you're out for a nice dinner experience.

My advice would be if you've made it this far go to Pizza 100, much better food and a much nicer service just three or so doors down on the same road.

Amazing food! We had Polipetti alla Luciana with focaccia as a starter ️ and Risotto capesante lardo e rosmarino and Zuppa piazzetta in crosta! Everything was really really good! And the staff really friendly!

Oggi 12 marzo 2023, a pranzo con mia moglie, in questo locale di Los Cristianos, abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Scialatielli allo scoglio super buoni, sia come cottura della pasta, che come condimento. La frittutrra di pesce superlativa, ma la cosa migliore è stata quella del personale, molto gentile e professionale. Un particolre complimento a Mirco e al suo staff e un bravo allo chef, complimenti davvero da parte di un collega in pensione. Consigliatissimo.

Otro buen italiano clásico en el sur de Tenerife. La pasta con frutos del mar sencillamente fantástica y sabrosa, las pizzas napolitanas riquísimas (especial mención a las "sencillas" diavola y margarita), y unos Tagliatelli con cerdo y salsa relativamente picante que nos encantaron. La atención muy buena, precio bueno (y mas teniendo en cuenta la ubicación) y el único "pero" sería que las cañas de cerveza no estaban bien tiradas. Pero sin duda, sitio para repetir.

Had gluten free focaccia (garlic bread pizza) and a gluten free pizza.

This is the same company and the other La Paizzetta. We went to the first one and they were queuing out of the door so we just walked down the this one. Same menu more or less

Giusto il servizio si è salvato, cose buone, lafocaccia, il vino e le salviette per la e mani il resto non buono.

Tutto perfetto, abbiamo scoperto questo ristorantino dove gustare dei piatti a base di pesce freschissimo che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Il personale molto professionale e premuroso sempre pronto a soddisfare le nostre richieste.
Una delle tante sere abbiamo mangiato anche la loro pizza napoletana "favolosa".

Nice and very cosy please. Staff is so attentive! We have ordered salad, two pizzas, steak and prawns. Everything was so delicious! The only thing we regret is that we haven't been here before. Cena di coppia, pesce freschissimo, personale simpaticissimo e molto preparato e disponibile.
Prezzo molto onesto per la qualità delle portate.
Locale principalmente a conduzione italiana, rispetta lo standard e lo supera anche!

Esperienza pessima, da italiani siamo andati lì per mangiare un bel primo a base di pesce e abbiamo ordinato uno spaghetto con le vongole ed era asciutto e di pessimo gusto (si sentiva solo l'aglio) al mio reclamo lasciato lì il piatto intero, il cameriere mi ha riferito che sarebbe andato a parlare con lo chef e non ho mai ricevuto una risposta in merito.
Sconsigliato vivamente.
Questa non è la vera cucina italiana.

There's a light-hearted feeling with the wonderful waiters in thus restaurant, and the covid rules are followed here, so we feel quite safe to dine here. It's also the first time I have razor shell here, wonderful! If you wish for a good foodie experience, try here!

Excellent restaurant! Les plats sont goûteux et de bonne qualité, préparés avec des produits frais. Le personnel est très chaleureux et service au top. Nous y avons été trois fois pendant notre séjour à Ténériffe. Les couteaux sont excellents, le homard également. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Awful experience. The starter of Bruschetta was gorgeous, as was the bottle of red wine of Montepulciano.
But our main courses were terrible. My wife had Lasagne, very bland and barely warm.
My dish was Tagliatelle with prawns, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes. I asked for the prawns to be de-shelled, de-headed and the waiter promised this would be sorted.
Obviously, when the meal arrived, this hadn't been done. The meal returned to the kitchen and when this came back to the table there was one tiny prawn on top of the Tagliatelle. I mentioned to the waiter, why only one prawn, but he wasn't interested.
As I attempted to dine, I found several bits of shell and tentacles in the dish. But then I crunched on a piece of mussel shell. Everyone of the few mouthfuls I did eat, were also extremely gritty. This only proves they use the same pan for most, if not all pasta/fish/mussel dishes. Both my wife and I left almost all of our food. When I complained, the waiter just apologised and walked away, after agreeing the piece of shell was from a mussel. Then my bill was brought to the table without my asking. I was charged the full amount, at which I would have refused, but my wife, didn't want me to make a fuss.
So I paid and we left.
During our experience several other tables were also returning food to the kitchen.
Maybe this could be a one off, but we will never return.

Deliciosa comida napolitana con pescado fresco cada día a precio muy razonable. Platos de pescado y carne, pizza y pasta elaborados con cariño y mucho gusto. A destacar la profesionalidad y amabilidad de sus camareros. Se nota que tienen alegría por su trabajo y se agradece su excelente trato. No se pierdan este restaurante si están en Los Cristianos, merece la pena!

Wonderful service, busy because of its popularity but the waiter was totally 'on it' as were all the staff. The pizza was absolutely incredible - having had many stone baked pizzas before (some home made) this was first class. We asked for a recommendation on local wine and were asked about our preferences. The wine was also superb! I know it's Italian, and you're in Spain, but just go. It's amazing

You HAVE to visit this restaurant! Amazing, fresh seafood and tasty cocktails. I was a bit suss that this wouldn’t live up to the hype on the reviews but it is incredible. Amazing, friendly staff with a vibey atmosphere. 10/10!

Ieri sera su consiglio di amici ci siamo recati in questo ristorante per mangiare la paella.
Ottimo il crocche di baccalà al nero di seppia, ma la paella è stata una grande delusione, riso scotto e completamente slegato dagli altri ingredienti, pesce decongelato, insipida e frutti di mare al limite dello sgradevole. Peccato.

Super leckeres Essen, aber leider wurde am Personal gespart. Die 2 Kellner für 17 Tische (!) kamen gar nicht hinterher. Es hat alles in allem sehr lange gedauert und die Jungs waren zu gestresst. Es war gut, aber leider nicht nochmal ‍️

Another expensive restaurant with poor standards.
Our first visit and last.
Firstly the fish in the display cabinet didn't look great considering it was "fresh". Fresh fish should be bright skin and eyes. We were told is was just one day old.
We ordered a seafood mixed platter, side salad & Canarian potatoes.
The salad was delivered and i immediately tried a bit as it didn't look fresh.
It was disgusting. Really bitter, tomatoes had a white shine to them, when i told the waiter, he told me to put salt in it.
The fish was OK, nothing great, I have had better at some €8 prices.
The prawns were terrible, so over cooked that they were just mush.
Wine was nice.
Considering the meal was €70, It was a real disappointment.
I was a struggle to get the salad and prawns taken off the bill.
Restaurant: If you can't keep up the standards, which i know is difficult in the present situation, then don't sell the food. You will just give yourself a bad name.
The 2* is taking in to account we didn't pay for the salad and prawns, otherwise it would be 1*

Excelente relación calidad/precio. Tienen un menú variado, que cuenta con lo principal de la comida italiana (pastas y pizzas), hasta carne (entrecot) y pescado. Tienen un menú con sugerencias, pero también puedes elegir el pescado fresco que quieras que te preparen (destacándose el frito). Los postres son hechos por ellos, el chocolate del profiterol imperdible. En cuanto al personal, son muy amables y cuidan al detalle su atención.

Lo recomiendo. Es un sitio muy bueno para comer pizza y pasta. La relación calidad-precio es inmejorable, todo lo que pedimos estaba muy rico y la cantidad es abundante.
Para nosotros el único punto negativo es que los camareros salían constantemente para fumar, hablar fuera con sus compañeros que estaban al final de la calle (suponemos que se debía a que eran las 19: 00h.y sólo tenían nuestra mesa), nos sentimos un poco desatendidos en ese aspecto.

We stumbled across this place one evening looking for somewhere to eat and my goodness were we glad we found it. Fantastic authentic Italian food at the best price, with amazing customer service. We returned a couple of nights after because it was that good! Thank you.

It's a great place to eat, we were using the first Piazetta at the roundabout for ages and finally came here. It's a more tranquile street which is good when you're with the kids. But still a great vibe here, good stuff. " My new favorite place"- ny husband says

Questa sera abbiamo provato la pizza gourmet NERANO con impasto ai 5 cereali, una frittura mista (asciutta e croccantissima) e il TIRAMISÙ ALLA PAPAYA E AGRUMI.
