Los Amigos Hostel Tenerife

Precioso albergue cerca del aeropuerto del sur. Cerca de algunas hermosas playas. El personal es muy amable. Aunque está muy cerca del aeropuerto, no se ven ni se oyen los aviones.

Hay un enorme espacio comunitario exterior con piscina. Wi-Fi gratis. Gran lugar para conocer gente. ¡Ambientación increíble!

Las duchas y los baños están limpios y ordenados.

Cocina grande totalmente equipada con varios frigoríficos y espacios para guardar tus propias compras.

¡Definitivamente regresaré en el futuro!

Este albergue es realmente sorprendente. ¡La gente que trabaja aquí y viene aquí es súper amable y está muy limpio!

Hay muchísimos lugares para relajarse e incluso tienen una pequeña piscina.

Si quieres visitar Tenerife, te recomendaría mucho ir a este albergue, ¡especialmente si viajas solo!

Viajé de Austria a Tenerife en 2020.
Este fue mi primer encuentro con los isleños, que fue extremadamente bueno. Así que decidí extender mi estadía.
El alojamiento era muy cómodo y casi directamente en la playa, por lo que podías impresionar a una u otra dama con una cita espontánea en las dunas de arena.

Así que este alojamiento fue una verdadera experiencia.

Conclusión: gente limpia, fresca y siempre pasando algo. Y el paisaje a su alrededor es impresionante.

Por lo tanto claramente 5 estrellas!

Este albergue cumplió su propósito. El personal era amable y fácil de hablar. El registro y la salida fueron muy fáciles. Las instalaciones están a la par y el albergue tiene un aspecto muy agradable estéticamente. Le doy 3/5 estrellas porque encontré que los otros huéspedes fueron un poco irrespetuosos, lo que afectó mi experiencia. Hay muchos que se quedan a largo plazo aquí y escuché a algunos hablar sobre cómo no les gusta hablar con los que se quedan a corto plazo porque tienen que tener las mismas conversaciones una y otra vez. Me robaron mis AirPods aquí. Otros 2 huéspedes en mi dormitorio pospusieron sus alarmas durante más de una hora (5-6+ veces) todos los días en las primeras horas. Sí, es un albergue y vida comunitaria, pero la etiqueta del albergue y la consideración básica para los demás parecían faltar un poco con algunos. Sin embargo, no había nada malo con el albergue en sí y cumplió su propósito.

Ambiente acogedor, muy limpio, personal extremadamente dinámico y amigable, hay un aire de serenidad que realmente se encuentra en muy pocos lugares.

Desde que muchos argentinos llevan el cargo de los hostales aquí en Tenerife sur los precios se han disparatados, 2 años atrás un hostal aquí costaba 25€ por noche ahora 60€ mínimo y máximo 80€ y más, precio de un hotel 3 estrellas y no son hoteles, hostales que es muy diferente!
Auténtica estafa!
Un consejo… mejor alquilar una habitación a través de Airbnb le saldrá muchísimo más barato!
En fin, ladrones como buenos argentinos que son … espero que el gobierno ponga manos a la obra para que cambie esa situación de estafa!

Je l'adore. Tant le propriétaire que les gens qui y travaillent. Très bonnes vibrations et toujours de bonnes vibrations. J'y vais souvent pour le travail et si vous êtes un nomade digital je vous le recommande, ils ont toujours des activités.

Este es un gran albergue, dirigido por un gran tipo, el albergue está cerca de la playa y de las tiendas. Vibraciones relajadas y relajadas gracias a los compañeros de viaje. Lo único que decepciona a este lugar son algunos de los voluntarios. Groseros, piensan que son dueños del lugar, olvidan que los huéspedes que pagan pagan y cometen muchos robos.
La habitación estaba bien, solo para calentarse sin las ventanas abiertas y luego para muchos mosquitos con las ventanas abiertas. Buenas duchas calientes.

Crida l'atenció que en general no estigui preparat per a temporades que faci més fred: faltaven mantes, habitacions amb sostre decent, suficient aigua calenta, un menjador que ni estigués a l'aire lliure. També considere un punt prou negatiu una cuina tan petita, clarament insuficient per a tots els usuaris del hostel. Em sembla que els punt forts són la localització i el bon rotllo de la gent (que no és poc).

¡Muy linda experiencia porque allí conocemos gente interesante! No está lejos del aeropuerto TFS, pero os aconsejo tener coche para desplazaros más fácilmente.

The atmosphere here is nice relaxed friendly. I have come back here a few times as it was nice to have this chill heaven close to the beach.
There is always some thing to do, easy to find friends to go on walks or trips with.
The people who work here are friendly and really want to help you.

Best hostel on the island. Hats off to Houssain for being such a great host and everyone else for making the hostel such an amazing place to detox in the sun

Had a great stay. The vibe is super chill. Two supermarkets down the road. Marina about 15 walk (2min drive) to the west - great paella. There’s a swimming beach just across the road to the south. The hostel itself was super clean, and they’re more than happy for you to turn up before check in time and crash out around the pool. Quiet hours from between 10pm-8am. Free breakfast from 8am-10am. Loved it

Lugar súper prolijo y limpio.buena predisposición y atención del personal y muy buena onda! Especial para disfrutar de unas lindas vacaciones. Volvería sin dudarlo.

The people are amazing and welcoming, they have their own beer brew which is blooming lovely! The place is clean and comfortable with a very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be staying again on my next trip to tenerife.

A very bad quality price ratio: the dorms are cold at night and quite small for 6 people. The kitchen is also tiny, you have to wait each time you wanna cook something, not enough bathrooms neither. The breakfast was very very basic.
The staff is not welcoming, they don’t mingle with the guests and stay as a group all the time at the hostel, making you feel as you were in their house.
Still had a good stay thanks to the guests I let there.
Not ideal if you don’t have a car

Ça dépanne pour une nuit près de l'aéroport prévoir environ 15 euros de taxi pour s'y rendre.
Ambiance jeune et relax. Accueil jusqu'à tard dans la nuit.
Hygiène plus que limite et pourtant nous ne sommes pas à cheval la dessus.

Absolutně nejlepší start pro návštěvu Tenerife! Velmi blízko letiště, přitom kousek od pláže, stejně tak MHD blízko. Obchod 15 minut. Ale co je nejlepší, tak přátelská atmosféra a skvělý personál. Tohle místo si zamilujete:)

This hostel is the best place to meet people! All the team is very helpful, room are clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful terrasse and a swimming pool! Also good breakfast.

Super accueil (même au milieu de la nuit), lieu vraiment agréable, chaleureux, on s’y sent bien! Petite piscine au centre de canapé et sofa en tout genre, en plein soleil avec une petite terrasse ombragée sur le côté. Des visiteurs de tous genres et tous horizons: un havre de paix!

Definitely the baddest experience that I had on Airbnb and with other hosts.
I arrived full of joy to have a great time there but loose it very quickly.
During the check-in they didn't accept my PCR that I made and have been accepted at the airport. The lady from the reception was from the beginning very unfriendly to me because she just wanted to leave (at 4pm) so asked me to leave without trying to give me some advices where could go. Didn't Received a full refund of my booking. During the time I tried to prove that everything is in order I wanted to charge my phone but the most of plugs doesn't works.

Alojamiento brutal. Medidas Covid muy bien gestionadas, limpieza y desinfección constante, geles por todo el alojamiento y se respetan todas las normas a rajatabla.

Espacios comunes muy amplios y agradables. Servicios limpios y de sobra para toda la gente. El alojamiento transmite mucha calma, los dueños muy agradables y siempre dispuestos a echarte una mano, yo me he sentido como en casa. Tienen piscina, gym, terraza amplia. Parada de bus a 3 minutos. Nada malo que decir sobre este hostel. Ve y compruébalo tú mismo/a.

I’m in love for this hostel! As soon as we arrived, we felt the good vibes! They have everything well prepared against COVID-19, such as hydroalcoholic gel in most areas of the house and the bathroom is cleaned 6 times a day (I noticed they use a bleach solution, which gave me even more confidence using all the facilities). The room was well decorated and really cozy. The common area has an ethnical decor, giving you a pleasant and relaxing feeling. Alex gave us excellent tips regarding restaurants and attractions. Excelente hostal muy bien ubicada, tanto cerca del aeropuerto y de la playa. Personal super profesional y tienen todo en regla con respecto al covid. Muy limpio y agradable para pasar unos días de relax total!

Hired to work for the month. Arrived to a completely hostile environment, berated for a bunch of things in front of everyone in the common area. Tried to say hello and become friends with my new housemates for the month, not one person smiled or said hello. One guest, upon finding out I was from Manchester, joked about the bombing terrorist attack in extremely poor taste.

Welcome email did not have the all the details in it, so I was banned from the staff kitchen for two weeks. Again, said to me in front of everyone in the common area. Given a tiny bed in a smelly mouldy room and had to leave my luggage outside. Promptly walked out and never returned. Unwelcoming, not friendly, not worth it.

What a nice place to start your adventure on the island! Close to the airport, the beach and small town of Los abrigos.all of this with great price!
The staff ll give you a nice warming welcome and make you feel home. One of the best staff ever! They will help you with great pleasure to find your way in the island! By giving you all the great places to visit! (Special thank to Alex, the manager, really helpfull at all time and knows the place like his pocket)
OH and in this time of Covid they do everything to keep the place safe and clean!

Muy genial, Álex es el mejor recomendando sitios. Un buen retiro espiritual, con piscina y ambiente tranqui y limpio. Importante! Tener transporte, pues la ubicación está guay, con playita a tiro de piedra pero no cerca de núcleo urbano, así que, con coche o bici mejor si vas a estar varios días.

Propietario maleducado y mentiroso. Exigimos publicamente que nos facilite las hojas de reclamacion de inmediato o iremos al OMIC a interponer la queja. Nos desalojaron en medio de la noche por salir a la terraza (aire libre) a fumarnos un cigarro y tomar una cerveza, en todo momento fuimos respetuosas sin levantar la voz. También mientes en decir que queríamos hospedar a alguien, cuando simplemente le invitamos a una cerveza y él tenía su casa en el Médano. Todo hipótesis sin ningún tipo de funtamento. Espero que conseve la grabación de las cámaras de seguridad porque las vamos a exigir.

My flight was delayed and I ended up not arriving until 2am. No problem.
I was in the door and up to bed almost immediately.
Beds comfy and you get your own socket and light. Busy hostel and breakfast was sound. I left to go Cósta adeje and regret it, way more laid back and easy at los Amigos, defo go back

Cool place to stay. Awesome people, nice fresh food for breakfast, cold beer, great atmosphere. Ideal for single trip or group of friends. Had a wonderful time there.

The rooms are really small with ugly interior, but most people enjoy the atmosphere of an international youth hostel. The staff is really friendly and willing to help you at any time of the day or night. The price depends on whether you sleep in a tent, share a room with many others or just with a partner, but in general it's nothing for people who don't like to hear other people's noices. The breakfast is kind of okay, depending on your standard. No vegan milk, hardly any fruits.

It is above average hostel meaning people enjoy themselves there. However it needs more maintenance (the showers, doors, broken equipment.) and kitchen has a small capacity for the amount of guests. The breakfast are very basic - few options, few to no vegetables (depending if you are lucky you get one piece of cucumber or slice of tomato - subject to rare availablity) - cheapest food items, coffee is more like make it yourself in a "mocha" that can be a long wait if more people like some coffee. Or they do not? , tea also a self service. The "gym" is at the moment just on the pictures (one very broken bench and some weights present), not sure about bikes or other equipment for rent (not offered, not anywhere visible) and the swimming pool is a tiny more like decoration. Sleeping conditions are good, not more than expected. But the pictures of the hostel are over all a big lie.
Very small property for a big demand during high season and plenty of guests and beds, it feels crowded. The hostel is missing a proper competition, more hostels in area or a good camping site not present. We have seen a hostel in El Medano, not sure if it is good, the camping in El Medano is overpriced.
My advice: what about reinvesting money back to the hostel? Is the owner in a financial difficulties? Can you get help of someone handy for the maintenance?
Area:
The beaches in the area are plentiful and very diverse style.and have very different qualities. The coast in general is super dry and windy with lot of illegal campers or homeless hippies (very interesting areas though, not always very esthetic, raw dry moonlike nature and messy views on a weird stuff). Close walk to El Medano and to Los Abrigos. Nothing in La Mareta, 3 streets of houses.

I have spent 6 days wondering around Tenerife, changing places daily and I have spend my las day in Los Amigos, meet few very interesting people, had very nice time and got myself very drunk, I had a flight to Bangkok but I did regret a little bit for not spending a few more days there.

Muy ruidoso por la noche. No se respeta el descanso de los huéspedes incluso a altas horas de la madrugada. No parece que nadie vigile el que se guarde silencio por la noche apartir de cierta hora. Imposible descansar.

I had an amazing stay at Los amigos on January and loved it, the place was clean and tidy, the staff was friendly and helpful and the vibe was great! Looking forward to come back!

Terry, you are The best, You are a heart od this lovely International hostel. After visiting this place, I will never, ever rent aby hotel. Hostels rules!

Reception was incredibly friendly! Literally a hidden gem I found for the last few days in Tenerife. I would have stayed a few nights longer if it weren't for my booked flight. Everything is clean. Everything works. The dorms are isolated from the lounge area so you barely hear any noise from your room. If you get a private tent it is a bit cheaper but not worth it if you want to be in a room far from noise. The hostel holds a lot of guests so there will always be someone to talk to. It's a must-do experience in the south of Tenerife! Thanks for everything Los Amigos!

Lo mejor la cercanía con el aeropuerto a 10 minutos. No hablan nada de español.el transporte al aeropuerto que proporcionan ellos es algo más caro que el taxi pero merece la pena con avisar es suficiente.si estuvieron de fiesta hasta tarde había mucho ruido.los baños, duchas y lavabos son unisex

A fantastic hostel if you’re looking for an informal atmosphere and the opportunity to meet interesting travellers. Great central social area. Very diverse clientele. Loved it!

Camera carina ma spazio giusto per il solo letto. Colazione fai da te (non nel concetto di self service), di qualità badic, alla ricerca di tazze e posate, e lavaggio sia prima che dopo.

We stayed a few days in the hostel. Ambiance in general was great, nice people. But the tiny 'surf' guy behind the reception has anger issues and was very rude. He even called me names. This experience was so unpleasant that it spoiled the positive experience I had. Working with people is not for everyone.
