Please can I book 2 Lateral Flow tests on Friday 10th December as evidence of fit to fly to the UK. This message replaces my earlier email when erroneously I asked for 03 December, sorry
Unbelievable and so sad that 4 years since my experience, which is documented in an earlier review, this doctor is still practising in such an unethical manner, causing distress to so many people and seemingly unaccountable to anyone. Will it take a death before action is taken? I have attached a photo of a post that contains a link to complain to appropriate authorities, who need to be aware. This person is a blight on such a beautiful area.
Never go there! Dr Sasu treated us wrongly, charged us a lot without giving us a receipt and then tried to make us pay 100 Euro extra just for writing out that receipt. We never got our money from the insurance without it. The locals call her Dr. Needle, by the way.
Stay away if you cherish you healt! We went to this so called "doctor". She has no competence of what she is doing. She is a terrible person. Overcharges for everything she can. We had a rota virus, she made 5 days of injections from it, and wanted to continue for 5 more days, but our insurence called and said to awoid her and go to antoher doctor, because they now her and she is a fraud doctor with astronimical bills. We did get our money back from insurance. After that the place where she did injections got infected. She took no responsability for it. Me and my wife have big scars from the infection on the place that she did injections.
Went to see Dr Cameila Sasu at the Medical Centre in Playa La Arena last Sunday as my daughter had a fairly deep cut on her leg. She dressed the wound and asked that we return every 2 days so that she could assess and redress the wound. Thanks to Cameila, daughters leg healed very quickly, which then enabled us to allow our daughter to return to swimming. Cameila spoke very good english. She gave good advice on local facilities around the local area. Dr Cameila Sasu charged us a sensible amount for the treatment that was given. Should we have gone to another doctor, there would have been a high possibility that they would have referred us to a hospital for stitches, which could have resulted in an overnight stay in the hospital, not what people want on holiday, which in high sight, would have then cost us over 10 times what Dr Cameila Sasu has charged us. We are grateful for her services.
Arnaque!
Be aware that this doctor is very dishonest and I think that she deliberately gave me wrong diagnosis to get me pay more money. It was confirmed by another doctor next day after my visit to dr Camelia (not sure if such people can be called doctors) Also she prescribed me unnecessary antibiotics. I am more then sure that her license should be revoked.
Camilla tried to charge me €300 each for 3 cortisone injections.ie €900. I paid 230€ as was all I had and got 1st injection, I have to call back for two more.i then got a taxi to Kathryn Muller in Lis Gigantes. She charged me 50€. 1 injection. I will not be going back to Camilla. Thank you Kathryn, only sorry I never went to you 1st.
Camilla.you would be well to remember that you are a Dr with Obligations to your clientele. You however are driven by greed. You may also be happier if you were to start giving back instead of Taking?
DONT GO THERE! We came to her medical centre a saturday 11 AM with a 6 year old girl who had problems with breathing and pain in her throat. After 5 min we got a prescription on penicillin- but first after paying 300 Euro in cash! We got a receipt after two days for refund by the travelinsurance. The insurance company wanted more documentation, but after contacting doctor Sasu Sasu for a medical journal, she have not reacted yet. Lesson learned - contact public clinic and dont go to Medical Center. Thomas
Excelent profesional doctor Camelia Sasu. I could enjoy my holidays without any problem. She gave me personalized attention and also speaks English, German, French and others languages. Thank you very much for you help.
A déconseillé fortement. Tarification opaque certainement à la tête du client avec une volonté d avoir des espèces en paiement. Expérience à ne pas renouvelée. Par contre je n ai testé d autre
Medical professionals are trained (and therefore expected) to have a strong level of ethics and credibility; unfortunately this lady does not possess either. Thankfully she prescribed what we expected for our toddler whilst severely overcharging us for one consultation (€130) and attempting to charge €80 for an unnecessary follow-up, frowning on the use of payment by card. She's also advertising under INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CENTRE. We recommend if in need you should contact the medical center Alcala as an alternative, 24/7 and €70 for an honest consultation.
I GOT ILL DURING MY HOLIDAYS IN TENERIFE AND I LOOKED FOR A DOCTOR.i HAVE BEEN TO THE MEDICAL CENTRE IN PLAYA ARENA OPPOSITE THE BEACH AND I HAVE BEEN IMMEDIATELY ATTENDED BY A VERY PROFESSIONAL LADY DOCTOR. IT WAS ON A SUNDAY, BUT IT WAS OPEN. I WAS VERY SATISFIED ABOUT THE RECEIVED TREATMENT AND PRESCRIBED MEDICINS WHICH I GOT FROM THE CHEMIST ACROSS THE ROAD, ALSO OPEN. I WAS FOR A SECOND MEDICAL VISIT AFTER 3 DAYS TO HAVE MY EARS CHECKED BEFORE FLIGHT. AND I WAS FIT FOR FLIGHT. THANK YOU DOCTOR FOR YOUR HELP.
Very good and professional doctor, all I can say is that she is really good and she loves what she does. Also her 24 hours service and home visits make this choice really recommendable and her multilingual options does the praxis very fluent and efficient. Thank you for all Dr. Camelia.
Warning! PLEASE AVOID at all costs, although it's central location and multi-lingual doctor, make it appear a good choice. There are a number of local private doctors who will give you professional and financially ethical care and not take advantage of you, when you are ill and vulnerable. Sadly I am not alone in my experience, as the Internet will reveal and due to my terrible experience and the after effects of my treatment, I would not visit Tenerife again. Such a shame as Playa La Arena is a beautiful, peaceful resort with lovely people.
Pessimi.costo per avere una ricetta di antibiotici. 130 euro. Decisamente troppo per un dottore generico.consiglio di rivolgervi direttamente al pronto soccorso di Alcala.con la vostra tessera sanitaria. è gratuito
Very good doctor, speaks fluent english, she came to my holiday apartment in the night and she helped me a lot, next day she came back to ask how i was and prescribed some medicines that helped me a lot.
During my holiday i was ill and i have been to the medical centre in playa la arena, the doctor was very kind and professional, she gave me good medical services and attention, i was very pleased.
Terrible doctor. Gave me unnecessary antibiotic injection just do she could charge more. 6 weeks later and my skin is still swollen and painful from the injections. I've had to go to my GP for antibiotics in case of infection. She is not upfront about charges. Totally unethical
Different amount for same disease, different client (my friend). Doesn't write receipt with first visit, you need to take second visit and pay again, then you get receipt. Doesn't bill insurance company direct.
