Pinolere ethnographic museum and park

The museum is closed, don't waste your time coming. Giving one star because they didn't have the decency to update the schedule here.

Interesting and well kept. Lots of animals and there was a cheese exhibition normally though there are constructions of houses and how people farmed and lived. Also beautiful views there

We come here for the craft fair and the fantastic views great place to visit and buy produce from all of the Canarian islands

The annual Feria de Artesanía is usually held in the first week of September and is well worth a visit. This year (2021) the fair was held in early October and there were about 200 stalls selling craft items of all descriptions from across the Canary Islands. The workmanship of the crafts is excellent and you'll find it hard not to leave withouts buying something whether it is locally produced food, jewellery, toys, fragrances, soaps, clothes, musical instruments and even knives.

Atención 10, los niños pudieron recoger castañas, ver animales, conocer como era un pueblo antiguamente y hasta una venta de la época toda equipada con cosas de la época. Volveremos seguro.

Pinolere es un pequeño pueblo montañoso lleno de gente amable, y el cuidador de este museo no es una excepción. Cuidado con mucho mimo este museo ofrece en cabañas y casas típicas de la zona una muestra de diferentes aspectos sobre la cestería y la forma de vida tradicional. Además un pequeño huerto de hierbas aromáticas y unos cuantos animales que siempre encantan a los pekes.

Un lugar donde se hacen muchos eventos de la tierra y pasar un buen rato en familia, totalmente recomendable.

It's a steep climb to the top if you are walking from the bus stop. If you are with a vehicle, easier going up and just find parking in the street. Usually there are various festivities such as arts and crafts or a cheese festival. It's a quaint space with a beautiful view of Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz. Depending on the season, take a light jacket with as it can get cold due to the difference in altitude, or in the warmer seasons it can get get quite warm.

Un lugar con encanto y el personal a cargo muy atento y amable. Me gustó el cuidado de las instalaciones y las exposiciones.

Mało znane, lokalne. Bez fajerwerków ale ciekawe, warto zahaczyć po drodze z Puerto dr la Cruz na Teide.

Magnifico sitio con varias plantas, donde se puede hacer chuletadas con amigos o familiares sin miradas de la gente, los niños tienen donde correr sin peligro, con aseos públicos y siempre muy limpio.

Visitato in occasione dell'ottava FERIA DEL QUESO. Ampia e singolare mostra di prodotti e animali tipici canari con una prevalenza speciale dei prodotti dell'isola El Hierro.
Alcuni animali: capre, cani, galli, ecc.formaggi, salumi, vini, dolci, ecc. Assaggiati e acquistati vari prodotti, veramente buoni con sapori ed odori straordinari per genuinità e tipicità.
Paesino arrampicato sulle montagne sopra La Orotava verso il Teide, gente ospitale ed affabile, paesaggio spetacolare, da tornare in occasione di altre fiere o solo per degustare piatti tipici canari in qualche Guachinche della zona

Una vista de como vivían nuestros antepasados, ya sea en las islas o en la península. A algunos nos hace recordar objetos de nuestra niñez. Sitio curioso para los jóvenes.

A small but perfectly formed ethnographic museum with reproductions of types of traditional housing using local materials. There is a comprehensive display of basket making and weaving.
