Restaurante El Gaucho

Food was good but service was lacking. Waiter took a long time to take the order then wandered off whilst serving chateaubriand.

Food is OK, but not too special and still quite pricey for the quality. Staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is special, but really Dutch and not really what we were hoping for in Spain. First night in Maspalomas, so we still had some getting used to it.

Muy breve: un auténtico DESASTRE. Cena de nochevieja, para olvidar. Cerraría el local. Todo el servicio perdido. El "metre" Sr. Javier, no lo contrataría ni para servir burgers. Dediquense a otro negocio. NO VOLVERE

Food was very tasty but a bit short on the portion especially for the price. Got the chateaubriand between two and we were still hungry afterwards. Sangria wasn't the best buy was ok

Ottimo locale di carne, decorato veramente bene e curato in diversi dettagli. Molto tipico della cultura spagnola. I prezzi sono un po' alti ma se vuoi mangiare della buona carne te lo consiglio.

Very disappointed passed a few times and decided to book a table but the saying "all that glitters is not gold"would be very apt, it took an age to get served and when my starter arrived it was cold and when the waiter asked me why I had left most of my main I told him it was too salty he offered no apology and it was still on the bill. Very disappointed in the whole visit.

Comida rica y servicio atento, pero precios muy desproporcionados. Demasiado caro para lo que dan

Hemos cenado un grupo de 7 personas más un niño de dos años. Carne de primera calidad, toda la comida excelente. El trato y el servicio por parte del personal inmejorable, y la relación calidad precio insuperable. Recomendable 100%, repetiremos si volvemos seguro. Muchas gracias! El grupo de los asturianos.

Seated quickly for 5, drinks and dinner for uncles 60th food was delicious.

The 'Ossenhaas' from Black Angus was really great. The starter and dessert was also good. The staff was very friendly but a little chaotic. It took us 15 minutes to pay the bill. This evening was also live entertainment.

The best place to eat in playa des inglès!
Me and my girlfriend went to a lot of different places to eat in playa des inglès, but el gaucho restaurant was by far the best! Great waiters, the place looks beautifull and the food (especially the paella) tasted perfect! A big recommenment to everyone!

Asked for a steak med to well got a raw steak. Waiter wasn't a bit happy taking it back to the kitchen.waited 30 mins for it to return while my mate had finished his meal. Plus because it was New year's Eve they added a extra 20% to everything on the menu to pay the staff wages etc it's a joke. Have eaten there 20 times b4 with different staff. Wont return again with there attitude about service and customers. It wasn't even busy tonight loads of empty tables. Think they think the restaurant is a lot better than it actually is.

Wir waren am 24.12.2018 abends beim Essen in diesem Restaurant. Freundlicher Empfang, schnelle Bestellung von Getränken.
Das war's dann schon mit dem positiven Eindruck.
Bei unserem Essen (Mix Grill Teller für 2 Personen) war das Fleisch sehr trocken und teilweise verbrannt.
Der Schock kam beim Bezahlen. 20 % Aufschlag wegen 24.12.
Gesamtsumme über 75 Euro für 2 Gläser Hauswein, 1 kleines Wasser und 2 schlechte Griĺteller ist für uns NEPP.
Wir können keine Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant aussprechen.
