Restaurante Marco Polo - Playa del Ingles

Hermoso, bueno, increíble personal atento, previsto para nuestra tercera visita esta noche.

La única ligera mejora que sugeriría es algunas verduras con los platos de carne.

Es un poco difícil de encontrar, pero seguro que vale la pena visitarlo. Comida y servicio impresionantes.

Visité este restaurante por recomendación de un barman local. La comida era deliciosa, agradable y tierna y el sabor equilibrado. La música que se toca es más bien de jazz, lo que a nosotros personalmente no nos gusta. Ese fue el único inconveniente que se nos ocurrió.

Excelente cocina con un servicio de bienvenida y calidad. A menudo vamos allí por el placer de ver al equipo y al propietario porque esta señora es encantadora y muy profesional. Su equipo también es muy bueno. Muchas gracias

¡Conozco este restaurante desde el verano de 2022 y ya estaba completamente entusiasmado en ese momento!

De vacaciones este año comimos allí al menos cada dos noches. Honestamente puedo decir que nunca antes había comido tan bien. Todo lo que he comido allí hasta ahora ha sido genial. La calidad es excelente, las salsas caseras son excelentes y el servicio es muy agradable, cortés, absolutamente competente y amigable para los niños. Tengo la sensación de que a la gente que trabaja allí le gusta mucho su trabajo.

Mi hija de tres años está totalmente enamorada de los camareros de allí y los conoce a todos por su nombre de pila:)

Para mí personalmente, este restaurante sería el motivo principal si volviéramos a volar a Gran Canaria el año que viene.

Mi recomendación personal: solomillo en todas sus variantes.

Acabo de regresar a casa de PDI, muy contento de haber encontrado este restaurante y visitado debido a las excelentes críticas que fueron 100% precisas.
¡El filete estaba cocinado a la perfección y la salsa de pimienta estaba deliciosa! Personal atento muy agradable. El centro Cita donde está ubicado no es tan atractivo, pero no dejes que eso te desanime si estás buscando una comida deliciosa)

Local dentro del centro comercial Cita, amoblado con un estilo moderno y con un ambiente agradable Servicio super atento y muy amable. Buenos entrantes y raciones generosas. Cocción del corte bien aunque la carne no sea de primera calidad (pero es más que razonable por el precio, la próxima vez optaremos por carnes más valiosas) y una rosca pasada (habíamos pedido cocción media). Dulces discretos, precio más que honesto. Una elección absolutamente válida si quieres comer bien ahorrando unos euros.

Si quieres salir a comer en Playa del Inglés, solo puedo recomendarte Marco Polo en la Cita. Buen ambiente, personal amable y comida súper deliciosa

Excelente servicio y muy buena calidad de comida. Las pizzas, caseras y también recomendables. Pero también todo lo demás.

Excellente table avec un tres bon rapport qualité prix! La viande y est exceptionnelle aussi bien en terme de qualité mais aussi pour la cuisson parfaitement maîtrisée! Merci à Miguel et l’ensemble de l’équipe pour leur accueil toujours aussi chaleureux en étant également très professionnel!

Essen war solide, nichts Besonderes aber auch nicht schlecht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war ganz okay.

Difficult to find but worth the effort. Food and service were both superb. Menu is reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal. Das winzige Manko: Die Lage in der Cita (die gehört eigentlich gesprengt und neu gebaut). Aber ein gemütliches, modernes Lokal.

Amazing find if you like great attentive 5 star service. Steak was perfectly cooked and the pepper sauce was beautifully flavoured. The service is so good, the wine was poured with one arm behind his back which doesn't sound that special but coming from an all inclusive to here, it was a welcomed act of professionalism. Definitely recommend if you like a certain level food and service, don't be put off by the fact it is in a shopping centre.

Unexpectedly located on the 1st floor above the ground floor in a seriously faded 1980s shopping centre. Excellent quality, service and value. Well worth taking the time to locate to enjoy the great food.

A hidden gem of a restaurant! Forget the expensive restaurants at Meloneras and Europa, Marco Polo has the freshest, tastiest and most friendly dining experience on the whole of Gran Canaria.

Yes it’s in the Cita Centre, which has seen better days. But this restaurant has a wide variety of meals (as far as I can tell, all home made) as well as some fresh exotic meats (even kangaroo). Some of which you can choose to cook on your own hot-stone.

The ambiance and decor is a cut above all the rest and this family run business is a must try for anyone on the south of the island.

On a final note, my wife has eaten pasta from all around the world (inc Italy) and Marco Polo’s homemade pasta was the BEST she’d ever tasted.

The food is very good, the restaurant looks nice. Note: the restaurant is located in some kind of mall, which is less cosy. But I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Obtuvimos un cupón de Groupon, la primera opción, el primer plato de entremeses y que no pude sacar fotos, por su buena presentación decían comerme, además que estaba ese y todos los platos riquísimos.
La atención de su personal impecable

Excelente, un trato inigualable, la camarera una profesional y experta en vinos. El cocinero un artista de la gastronomía. Unos sabores muy definidos con pequeños detalles que sorprenden al paladar. Muy recomendable. Volveré.

Das Essen Fleisch, Fisch und Pizza waren gut. Auch die Menge der Portionen sind gut. Service war freundlich und schnell. Wir waren 3x mal essen und immer zufriedend. Würde das Restaurant wenn ich wieder in Cran Canaria bin wieder besuchen.

Hemos ido con un groupon. Local bien situado en el CC Cita en Playa del Inglés, acogedor y decorado con gusto, música agradable. Servicio y comida muy buena. Recomendable sin lugar a dudas!

Wunderbares Ambiente, exzellenter Service und die Qualität der verschiedenen Gerichte auf hohem Niveau! Die Preise sind völlig human und die Bedienung zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es wird auch fließend Deutsch gesprochen. Für jeden Urlauber ein toller Tipp und ein muss auf Gran Canaria!

I really don't like to leave a 2 star review to a restaurant/business specially when you see that the staff is being very nice to the other customers.
We arrived to this place without a reservation, in spite of the cross face of the manager we were seated. After 3 minutes we were asked to move to a different table as they needed ours to set up a place for a party of 17 who never arrived.
The food was great apart from my husband's fillet steak cooked to perfection and chips, covered in salt.
The staff was nice apart from the manager who was very curt and unfriendly. I think it was because we haven't reserved a table beforehand? We noticed he was very nice to the other customers, telling stories and laughing with them.
After we finished the main course we waited and waited and waited to be offered a dessert menu but nobody was looking at our direction, perhaps it was because husband complained about the salt?
We gave up and went to the counter to pay the bill.

Lecker Speisen in der CITA. Gehen seit Jahren immer wieder in Marco Polo. Sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Essen ist sehr gut und lecker. Wir können das Marco Polo sehr empfehlen.

Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, leckeres Essen und guter Service. In jedem Urlaub immer wieder gerne!

Absolut nichts zu bemängeln! Der Wein war super und die Empfehlungen ebenfalls. Service super freundlich und konnte überzeugen. Bisher das Beste Restaurant, welches wir auf Grand Canaria ausprobiert haben. Hier hat man das Gefühl Willkommen zu sein. Das Restaurant zeichnet sich deutlich gegenüber der Konkurrenz ab. Klasse statt Masse ist hier wirklich zutreffend. Zusammenfassend ist es eine Perle im Cita.

Wir waren zweimal in unserem Gran Canaria Urlaub dort essen, es war wirklich gut. Nur das Risotto könnte etwas cremiger sein. Wir kommen in unserem nächsten Urlaub auf jeden Fall wieder.

Great food and friendly staff in a stylish restaurant. Creme brulee is delicious. Upstairs in the Cita (took us a lap of the centre to find it). Would recommend.
