Rodfather Tenerife Fishing

Probably the first fishing charter review to NOT mention the fishing OR the charter. I booked with Rodfather for an early Feb 2023 6 hr tuna trip but the charter was cancelled due to last minute unforeseen technical issues that required boatyard maintenance. Adrian went out of his way to attempt find us an alternative charter. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make that charter work with our travel plans but his effort and a prompt refund of our deposit were very much appreciated. Super reputable and very willing to work with you should plans change or unforeseen issues occur. I’m sure the same level of care and attention would occur on a charter experience. Will definitely be rebooking a charter with Rodfather on a future visit to Tenerife.

Experiencia increíble! Nunca habíamos pescado en barco! El capitán muy acertado, nos aconsejó pescar primero para poner de cebo, sacamos unas cuantas capturas de arenques y caballas pequeñas y se adentró para ir a por algo más grande, a la segunda lanzada…. Picó un enorme pez limón de unos 35 kilos, nos costó sacarlo un buen tiempo pero mereció la pena. Sin duda repetiremos la próxima vez que volvamos a Tenerife. La tripulación no puede estar más atenta de que todo vaya bien y estés cómodo en todo momento. Totalmente recomendable!

We booked a private charter with the Rodfather team for 6 hours to do some fishing in the open sea. The experience was amazing, we managed to take close-up pictures and videos of lots of dolphins and pilot whales. After a couple of hours in the sea, we managed to catch a big tuna which took us around 4 hours to reel in but managed to break the line when at the last few metres from the boat.
The overall experience was great, will definitely recommend and we will book with them again in the future, if in the area.

Erste Adresse in Teneriffa /Adeje wenn man ein Boot zum Sortangeln chartert. Der Kapitän spricht 7 Sprachen und ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn man nicht Angeln möchte kann man auch nur mal entlang der Küste schiebern und den tollen Ausblick auf Teneriffa geniesen. Man kann auch halbe Tage buchen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

După trei eșecuri la pescuit cu barca in Tenerife a urmat o partida deosebita la ton, la un moment dat erau trei toni cu aripioară Galbena in drill.

Did a half-day trip with Adrian and Flo. Cool and very helpful guys! Great boat and well-equipped. Overall, we had a fun time and caught enough fish for a dinner barbecue.

Un super moment en mer!

Super journée a pêcher des maquereaux et une magnifique prise, nous avons pêcher le premier marlin de la saison aux Canaries. Une véritable aventure.
La capitaine et son père sont sympathique, tres expérimenté et très pédagogue, parfait pour un super moment en mer.
Un de nos meilleurs souvenir sur l'île de Tenerife. Je recommande a 100%.

We've tried different crews on Tenerife and The Rodfather crew is the best. We took a full day charter. The boat is equipped very good! These guys definitely know their job – where to find fish and which tactic to use)
We’ve caught ≈120kg Bigeye Tuna… on a light tackle)

Una experiencia INCREÍBLE. Reservé una salida privada de 6 horas. Nada más salir de puerto pescamos una sierra y tras un par de horas navegando pescamos 4 bonitos. Un poco más tarde pescamos dos atunes de 70 y 100 kilos. También vimos calderones, ballenas y delfines. El capitán y la tripulación saben perfectamente lo que hacen en todo momento, son muy amables y te explican todo lo necesario. El material de pesca es formidable y el barco amplio y cómodo para excursiones largas. Unos profesionales excelentes y una jornada de pesca que sobrepasó todas nuestras expectativas. Sin duda repetiremos.

Adrian is amazing and Alex too. So kind and helpful and so knowledgeable. You won't believe this but we caught one wahoo and two tunas and lost one wahoo. Simply amazing. And we saw tunas chase fish and dolphins jumping too. Great boat, great team.

Depart à l'heure avec 5 autres intéressés, on a commencé par levé des maquereaux, plus de 10 en 1h, mon fils de 9 ans était ravis, puis on a attendu 1h qu'un thon ou autre morde à la traîne, mais rien alors à 1/2 h de la fin on a repris un peu de maquereaux avant de rentré, le capitaine et son collègue est très sympa et il parle français!
Bref 65 €, par personne mais 4h vraiment sympa

Une sortie pêche exceptionnel le chef et tout le personnel et génial petit plus le chef parle francais.
Ils sont très investie dans leur sortie pour vous faire vivre une expérience hors du commun nous avons d abord pêcher du maquereaux pour ensuite partir a la traque du thon rouge nous avons ferré un thon rouge de environ 300kg un combat qui a durer 1h30 un vrai monstre des océan je recommande vivement encore merci a l' équipage pour cette sortie extraordinaire

Very nice day out even as a beginner. The Team was very friendly and helping. We saw a lot of Dolphins and i got my first fish

What a day on the rodfather saw whales dolphins and a turtle and caught some fish would highly recommend this boat skipper and first mate were top notch they both helped out in every way they could to help you

Deep sea fishing never done it before it was my Birthday it was something ive always wanted to do so i asked my hotel who would they recommend? Rodfather was the boat. We were warmly welcomed by flo who looked after you and Adriano the skipper. Free drinks were supplied throughout after a safety talk from flo we set sail to go fishing couple of hours in rod 2 my rod got a bite the 30 battle commenced with the skipper holding the boat steady flo helped me all the way and i never gave in i proudly landed a 235lbs big eyed tuna wow speachless cuts it, short an achievement beyond my dreams i would highly recommend Rodfather to everyone whether a total beginner like me or a top fisherman a wonderful experience. Rodfather I'll be back
