I rented a road bike for my holiday and picked it up to find Roy had upgraded the model which I was delighted about the bike was set up perfectly for me, pedals etc saddle height and he threw in a bottle. I would fully recommend this business and I found Roy very easy to deal with, my only problem is now I want to upgrade my own bike to Di2 because it was so nice to use. Thanks again Dan

Great family run bike shop. Great service, good people and decent bikes. I rented two bikes while I was here. I took a MTB to playa papagayo and a road bike 92 kms around the island on a route I found on Komoot. I recommend the bike shop and both adventures!

Roy is really friendly and knowledgeable, great range of bikes to suit everyone. The Trek bike I hired was amazing! I hired it for 2 days and loved cruising round the island on it. Definitely recommend visiting and hiring a bike from Roy.

Hired a bike last October. Gears didn't index, helmets are wrecked and a loud click was coming from the rear wheel. Unfortunately, I picked up the bike at closing time. I tried to adjust the gear indexing and went in my ride. When I returned the bike, the guy said it had just has new cable fitted, they were black and frayed. He then got a call from a mate and sat down, ignoring me for the rest of the time it took me to get my stuff together. It was end is season, but not impressed with bike or service.

I have been road biking in Lanzarote a few times over the years and have previously used another rental company. Unfortunately, this time they could not accommodate my request so I went to Roy’s cycle store after noticing his store on a previous visit. After a brief chat I rented a Trek Damone SLR and I loved it. All in great working order and got in a few 50 milers in. The shop was great with everything You need from high end road bikes to more simple rentals. Will definitely be back

Emailed to reserve a road bike for a day and asked a few other questions about what pedals the bikes use and what pick up was available if there are mechanical issues etc, received an email back to say I had to pay for a minimum of 3 days rental in order to reserve a bike. The email also said I would be provided further information when I reserved a bike, which wasn't particularly helpful because it's always nice to know what service you're actually paying for! I sent an email back saying I was happy to reserve for 3 days and asking what the next steps were. This was a few days ago and I still haven't received a reply.

Roy is very helpful and friendly. My bicycle was ready when I arrived to pick it up with the lights and panier I asked for. It also came with a helmet, side stand and strong lock. Roy set the saddle height perfectly. And what a magnificent bike. Quality German make with disc brakes, 27 gears and puncture proof tyres. Fantastic to ride. Excellent service all round. Highly recommended.

Had to leave a review as the service has been great. Bike was perfect and Roy is a lovely guy who looks after his bikes. Will definitely be back to hire again.

Thanks to Roy for the second set of bikes hired! We are repeat customers having hired bikes previously on a trip to PB. We find his bikes well maintained, robust and reliable and they enabled us to travel all around the area well beyond walking distance.
The shop is handily located adjacent to the port entrance which was also close to our hotel.
Roy is always friendly and helpful and had the bikes lined up and ready to go when we arrived.

Roy sorted me and my wife out with mountain bikes for the week. We had great fun using them, very helpful service.

We hired 2 top range road bikes for the IM. Both were in excellent condition with all required extras. It was much cheaper and much less hassle than bringing our own bikes on the plane. I would definitely use Roy's for any races in Lanzarote.

Excellent service from start to finish. Great selection of bikes and diligent service to make sure everything is working perfectly.
The carbon Dolan was ideal for getting the kms on strava while exploring the island and the owners were easy to contact and provide support if needed - and great chat!

Small but very friendly hire shop with a good selection of different types of bikes. Nice owner who speaks English!

Hired a MTB, paid €15 for the day. Discovered after on the website that it should have only been €10, didn't get offered helmet or water bottle as the website suggests either. Bike was ok, quite old but did the job.

Fantastic service from Roy, asked ahead of time to rent a hard tail and he picked out one the best in his shop. Amazing fun on this bike, great time was had chucking it about, will definitely come back again!

Had a Dolan bike for the weekend, loved it great service. Was staying not to far from shop but was quick and simple for a reservation online with a confirmation email within the hour. Would highly reccomend and would use again

Small shop but very good service with a friendly owner. Bikes were Dolan's bike. Pretty good condition. Two tubes included + all the items to repair and or change bike settings. I recommend this place.

Great bike hire from Roy's managed to find me a raid bike last minute after a busy time of year (Easter). Solid bike and perfect working condition. Really enjoyed the couple rides I went out on. Will head back to Roy's if I'm in the area and need a bike. Friendly guy too.

We rented 2 road bikes from Roy for a few days. Great Dolan bikes, well maintained and serviced. Roy provides a really friendly service and there are good recommended routes on his website. I had no helmet or pedals with me but Roy was able to provide these, together with a Garmin mount.

Highly recommend, and will be back next time I’m in Lanzarote.

Arrived in Playa Blanca with almost flat tyres on my mobility scooter, happened to come across Roy’s Bike Hire shop who happily put air into my tyres for me and gave me a pump free of charge so l could do them myself in the future, he wouldn’t take any payment! Good honest genuine guy (he has the same name as Me! Small world). Really can’t thank him enough for all he did. Well beyond any customer service l have ever experienced and no money involved! Thanks so much!

Terrible experience: we had reserved 3 bikes 3 days ahead of a planned bike ride. We were actually in the shop and discussed bikes, pedal requirements etc and were promised all would be ready for us. On the appointed day and time we duly arrived only to find they had no bikes for us and weren't interested in finding replacement bikes or in offering an apology. Be warned: sometimes a reservation is not a reservation, despite everything.

Great bike hire place right on the sea front. Has some great route suggestions for road and mtb fanatics alike.

Absolutely brilliant service, great knowledge of routes and cafe stops. He even serviced the pedals a brought with me after noticing the thread was damaged on one of them. Can't rate it highly enough!
