I had an incredible experience learning surfing from David!
As someone with no experience in any sports whatsoever, let alone a harder sport like surfing, I came into this with equal levels of excitement and doubts in my own abilities or lack thereof: D … David‘s passionate style of teaching and his very achievable sub-goals in each lesson actually had me loving every second in the water, barely noticing my exhaustion and, to my biggest surprise of all, even shortly standing up on the board after only a few days of lessons!
His love for surfing is infectious and inspiring!
His ability to keep you safe and oriented even with dozens of other surfers around you is precise and his superman strength to repeatedly paddle out for two (when my poor little unexcersized arms just wouldn‘t do the trick…) gave me the chance to also catch a glimpse of the incredible feeling of being out in bigger, more powerful waters and waves that had me feeling huge rushes of awe, adrenaline and intensity!
I am very grateful for this first surfing experience and surely see myself coming back for more!

It was my second time ever practice surfing and with Coach David I went straight to another Level. If you really willing to surf and improve and listen - David wil get you there without no doubt. David is a very experienced Coach -not only in surfing also in people skills - so even if we were a group of very diffrent characters he could handle everyone ;) "Mama - I wanna go Surfing! "

Very good teacher. David teach with passion and he really push you to learn and improve day after day. After having tried many schools, I can say he is the best in the island.

He is 100% passionate in improving your surf skills, regardless of whether you are talented, sportive or not. There is no second in which he doesn't give you any advice. He watches you from every corner in the ocean and has an incredible eye for your "mistakes". As he is excellent in analysing your movements incisively, he knows exactly what you have to change to improve. In addition, you don't learn only the practical "stuff", but also the "theoretical" perspective of surfing, how the ocean works, etc.

David is one of the few teachers that places a lot of value to the surf etiquette and safety rules in water!
With him, you feel safe in the water, even in a full line up. He teaches you how to react in dangerous situations and to pay attention to the others in the water.

Even if you won't have a "free minute" in the water with David, I promise that you will have a lot of fun moments with him ;). He is 200% motivated to make your surf holiday a success!

I just finished 2 weeks surfing with Surfari. It was an amazing experience. David is from far the best surf teacher I've had. He is passionate, gives a lot of good advices about technics and ocean reading and his also a really nice person. My surf level improved a lot during our sessions. I will definitely come back surfing with him!

David is the most complete and competent surf instructor I came across in the past years. Devoted to this wonderful sport, passionate about teaching and to see you progress out there, have fun and come back safe. So I am already searching my calendar to see when I can escape again to the island and get into the waves with him.

I can’t really describe how much David is important for me as instructor.
