TAO Caleta Mar

La habitación y el hotel eran espaciosos y estaban impecablemente limpios. Fantástico desayuno bufé. Lo único que me decepciona de este lugar es la ubicación. Está justo al lado de una de las mejores playas de Fuerteventura, pero está demasiado lejos de tiendas y restaurantes.

Maravillosa y tranquila ubicación alejado del centro y frente al mar con habitaciones amplias. modernas y luminosas con balcón y vistas estupendas. El desayuno es suficiente y en un comedor con unas vistas a la isla de Lobos y casi encima del mar, maravillosas. El personal muy amable y comprometido. Salvo un pequeño incidente con una empleada del comedor de nombre Vanessa que resultó bastante desagradable en su tono y formas, muy alejado su comportamiento del resto de personal del comedor que son encantadoras. Algo a mejorar es que el desayuno es hasta las 10, pero a las 9.30 ya no reponen cosas básicas como tartas o bollería y por ahí vino la mala respuesta y tono de esta empleada. Otra incidencia a solucionar es que un día llovió bastante (cosa extraña en Fuerteventura)y por debajo de la puerta de entrada a la habitación entró agua y se inundó parte de la habitación. Pero son anécdotas subsanables que no estropearon la estupenda semana de vacaciones que disfrutamos en este hotel.

Precioso hotel tranquilo. Excelente servicio. La ubicación es difícil ya que todo está a 20 minutos a pie, lo cual no es culpa del hotel, supongo. Genial para acceder a las dunas. El personal fue excelente, los desayunos excelentes. Las vistas desde el área de la piscina y el comedor son tremendas.

Bonito, limpio y bien gestionado hotel B&B en las afueras de la ciudad. Ideal para acceder a la zona de dunas.

Bonito y moderno hotel con acogedoras habitaciones amuebladas. El desayuno es bueno con zumo de naranja recién exprimido y vino espumoso, pero un poco monótono. Por la noche hay que salir a comer a la ciudad, lo cual no es tan fácil en coche.

El hotel me ha gustado mucho. Sin duda la ubicación para mi, es la mejor, es lo más cercano al parque Natural. Es acogedor, una amplia piscina y otra más pequeña, muy bien cuidado, limpio y con un gran salón para el desayuno. En la puerta o cerca se puede aparcar. La atención muy buena por parte de todo el personal. Desayuno variado y muy completo. Habitaciones amplias con aire acondicionado, bien decoradas, camas cómodas y con mini nevera.

Ubicación absolutamente fabulosa justo al lado del mar el personal es fantástico y muy servicial

Sin estar alojados en el Hotel, Andrea me atendió superbien, estaba un poco agotada de caminar y sin bateria, me ofreció agua, cafe.y me dejó cargar el movil. Una atención exquisita que dice mucho del Hotel. Muy recomendable para proximas vacaciones.

We have just returned from staying at this hotel and we couldn’t find any faults with it. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Just saying a few words in Spanish goes a long way. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection from cereals, bread, cold meats, fresh fruit, and cooked food. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a great thirst quencher and squeezed fresh every day. The room was spacious and clean, the outdoor space was spotless and cleaned daily. We hired a car from the airport and we’re able to park outside the hotel. Although the hotel is on a main road the amount of traffic was light. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The worst staff ever! They are not speaking english. They made a mistake with our booking and after we proved them that they made the mistake, they started to punish us with small things just ti destroy our holiday. Our opinion is: HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED!

Ottima la posizione, la camera spaziosa e pulita, il letto comodissimo e grande. Lo staff della reception in particolare Lorenaa molto disponibili e gentili. La colazione Abbondante e variata.contentissimo della vacanza ci tornerò sicuramente!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping kept the rooms tidy every day. The little food cafe was useful when we wanted some food. Buffet breakfast was good. Quiet because it’s not in the main town. Easy access to the beach - basically just a few steps away. Minor thing - the automatic night lights were a bit of a pain but some people might like them.

Hotel muy coqueto, pegado a las dunas de Corralejo. Si podéis conseguir una habitación con vistas a las dunas.es mágico.

Tranquilo, sólo para adultos. Le falta algunos detalles de conservación. La ubicación es buena para ir caminando a donde quieras (playa o centro de Corralejo).

We stopped here for a drink, because we wanted a place right to to beach and not in town. Very friendly staff, looks very clean and modern.

Ottimo hotel. D'altronde è un boutique hotel. L'unico problema (o vantaggio) è la posizione. Vicino al parco delle dune, anzi, l'ultima struttura, quindi per andare in paese o per qualsiasi spostamento ci vuole un mezzo che, se non lo hai prenotato in anticipo, è difficile da trovare. L'altro aspetto è che c'è poca gente proprio per la posizione non comodissima. Ed infatti le piscine (molto carine) non sono prese d'assalto da quelli che si alzano all'alba per mettere l'asciugamano occupando i lettini.

Stayed at Tao Boutique Caleta Del Mar for 9 days in March. Perfect location, right next to the dunes and a lovely section of beach. This area (and the hotel itself) caters for naturists so be prepared to see more than you bargained for when wandering the nearby beach or upper sunbathing floor of the hotel! It is a bit of a walk to town from the hotel (about 25 mins), but personally I preferred this location. If you like to be more near to the bars and clubs then you might find this location a bit far away and opt for one of the hotels nearer to Corralejo town centre. We opted for Bed and Breakfast and have to say, the breakfast bar each morning offered great choice - Continental breakfast, fruit, pastries, English breakfast, tea, coffee, fruit juice. All good and ejoyed a hearty breakfast every morning. Service was good with a maid coming everyday to change sheets/towels and clean the room. Only negative thing was a smell from the loo which seemed to build up each night and meant there was a bit of an unpleasant smell from the bathroom in the morning. We raised with the rep, and the hotel management took action to fix but the issue came back a little after a couple of days. But on whole, I would recommend this hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, good food, good location for ocean/beach. Hope to visit again one day. Good luck all at Hotel Tao Boutique Caleta Del Mar and all in Fuerteventura. We stayed in the older building in ground floor sea view apartment. Location fantastic and staff very helpful and friendly. Apartment was quite dark and smelt mouldy. When several things are plugged in, the power cuts out so had to boil water on the stove (we did tell reception). Whilst the price was affordable, I don’t think we would stay in the apartment again. However we did still have a lovely time so maybe one of the other rooms next time

I didn't stay here but had a stop for coffee and a snack. The people were very friendly and they told us we could also use the swimming pool as customers. I had a piece of tortilla and my husband had ice-cream, all delicious and very cheap. The view is amazing and it's right next to the dunes. Perfect for a stop after a long walk. I would like to stay at the rooms in the future. It seems very secluded and highly qualitative.

Buffet muy caro (aunque bueno) y pasadón de habitación.
La habitación super chula y con "terraza" propia para tomar el sol en tus tumbonas.
La tv era smart tv. La piscina muy chula también.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Staff were brilliant & couldn't do enough to ensure a great holiday. Hotel Tao is perfectly situated for walking to the amazing Grande Playas beach & the Corralejo Dunes. Also a 20 minute into the centre of Corralejo.

We didn't stay in the hotel but went a couple of times to the cafe to have a chilled water cake and coffees.

Just a reconnaissance visit. Coffee shop which has snacks available. Basically bed and breakfast, or self catering. Pleasant apartment blocks, some with sea view. Right next to the dunes. Quite a step to the town centre and the Campanario centre which has a reasonable Hiperdino. Currently only about 7 months since a complete refurbishment.

Siamo stati una settimana in questo splendido posto. Luna di miele che rimarrà nel cuore. Arrivato la sera tardi, dormito con il suono delle onde dell'oceano.al mattino al risveglio la nostra vista spettacolare sull'oceano, le dune e l'isola di Lobos. La camera vista mare con terrazzo enorme. Tutto perfetto, arredamento minimal, colori bianco e blue. Super! In mezza pensione, fatto delle ottime colazioni a buffet, tutto di qualità.
Arriviamo alla cena e qui viene il bello. Complimenti assoluti per il numero 1 Alvaro. Una persona speciale che ha arricchito le nostre cene, per non parlare dello chef Xone. Tutto strabuono, cibo squisito e curato nei minimi dettagli. Ottimo. Un complimento anche alla simpaticissima Ana. Che dire, non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Todo perfetto. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Un posto speciale che rimarrà nel nostro cuore.

From arrival to departure all our needs were met with a smile and delivered meticulously. Need something just ask Al, as in "You can call me Al" the can do guy.

Molt bona ubicació, personal molt amable i servicial, molt bona relació qualitat-preu, recentment reformat, molt bon accés i aparcament, molt confortable.

Looks very posh, recently opened, literally next to beach, last building in Corralejo. Popped in for ice cream & loo stop. All very modern decor.

New hotel, clean and nice. Breakfast was awful, no fresh salad (!), hot dishes is tasteless and tough, small selection, sweets and cookies was cheap and tasteless. They should do something with breakfast.

There's no better location for surfing from Flag Beach. Hotel is also super nice, I heard it was recently (2019) completely refurbished and it looks and feels stunning. From my room I could see Flag Beach kite centre and know when the wind is good to go out.

Un hotel tranquilo, entrelas dunas y el centro de corralejo, muy limpio, muy comodo, estupendo desayuno el personal de recepcion, limpiza y comedor muy amables, hasta ahora de todas nuestras esperiecias que no son pocas, el mejor hotel calidad precio sin lugar a dudas

My review on bookings was for some reason cut short in the end, so here it goes again:) : Wonderful hotel, we were super happy with the room, beautiful view to Isla de Lobos and very friendly & helpful staff. Great job remodeling this hotel, it's really A+ star! We felt great vibes all over the place. Thank you!

The high points of breakfast - large selection which is a plus. Teas were Certified Organic and great, that was a surprise and highlight for us. Bread was good and very fresh. Croissants were mostly good and coffee machine was real fine, iced latte machiato was my favourite. Wonderful waiters, very attentive and friendly.

The breakfast was a letdown for us. There was a great room for improvement here. It's not necessarily the way food was served or prepared, it's mostly the thought that went behind it and quality of ingredients that didn't meet our expectations at all. MEDIOCRE is the word.

FRUIT- canned peaches/pineapple. Strawberries were actually BAD, with some rotten bits and tasting off. Watermelon that was served was over-rippen and off-if they only tasted this before. Tried fresh peach - rotten inside. It was truly embarrassing Spain is country of fruit.

Some mornings they served LEFTOVERS from previous dinners as breakfast - for instance grilled vegetables with potato slices - sounds good in theory - IT WAS NOT. Very very nasty, potatoes uncooked, dry, some burned. Just bad, I mean whatever is kept overnight and served next day should be tasted and if it's not tasting well, it should NOT be served. Then there were croquettes and onion rings one day - also clearly leftover.
MEAT AND CHEESE: Some of it was ok, some of it not at all, very low quality again. Hot sausages and frankfurters were just bad.

CAKES - One day we found vanilla and almond cake that was moist & delicious. The rest of it was again not high standard, all prebought + very INDUSTRIAL. Some chocolate covered things, all melting in the hot sun as the breakfast is served on the sunny side of the room.

CHURROS - so dry and oily at the same time: (

PANCAKES - We had this first day-dry as paper and terrible we felt little sick actually. How could they serve something like this.
BUTTER is served in little plastic containers - not very eco-friendly.

JUICES - From the machine, really nasty. One day we tried the 'orange' that everyone was drinking and it was the worst thing I have ever tasted, basically syrup concentrate mixed with orange pulp: O

We really wish that the high quality of the rooms and excellent service would be matched with good, high-quality food and this didn't happen. Please improve! Thank you

Breakfast ok, but a cheaper place, with more on the plate, just three doors up.found out too late unfortunately.

Hotel moderno, limpio y muy tranquilo.
Ubicado en un entorno absolutamente espectacular al lado de las grandes playas.
El estilo del hotel es minimalista, limpias lineas con habitaciones con un estilo minimalista y moderno.
El desayuno es correcto y contiene todo lo necesario
Mi estancia fue de una semana.
Al principio de la semana tuve un problema que fue solventado.

Un hotel con encanto, las habitaciones son súper cómodas, la limpieza es excelente, las vistas hacia las dunas e Isla de Lobo son una maravilla y sobre todo el buen trato de todo el personal siempre dispuesto a atenderte. Han hecho mi estancia un lujo para volver

El hotel es nuevo y muy bonito,
A destacar el servicio de desayuno, muy atentos y todo muy bueno y variado. La habitación con balcón y vistas espectaculares del amanecer.

Sin wifi, la ducha inunda la habitacion, en toda la noche hasta las 10 de la mañana no hay nadie en recepcion, hasta las 12 de la mañana ni una miserable coca cola vamos un cúmulo de despropositos, a las 12.03 me abren la puerta de la habitación sin preguntar, el segundo día no me hacen la habitación vamos que no vuelvo ni de coña

Buen hotel, moderno y decorado con mucho gusto. Habitaciones amplias y bonitas. El desayuno continental, con variedad y buen servicio. Los empleados son muy amables.

El sitio es muy bonito. El panorama espectacular y por supuesto la comida excelente. Un equipo profesional y muy amable.
