Tenerife Stars

Una experiencia absolutamente fantástica desde el principio hasta el final. La comida fue una buena puesta de sol que no vimos debido a las nubes, pero el sol en el volcán fue excepcional. La observación de las estrellas fue brillante. Había 4 telescopios para usar. Ozzy fue muy informativo. Explicó que todo se enfría. Vale la pena. Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera. Gracias por la gran experiencia.

Fuimos con nuestro propio coche y nos reunimos con el grupo en un aparcamiento donde obtuvimos información sobre la zona y vimos la puesta de sol. Luego nos dirigimos a un aparcamiento más grande cerca del Teide para observar las estrellas. Instalaron varios telescopios para que todos tuvieran la oportunidad de observar las estrellas. Ozzy explicó todo con humor. Fue una experiencia divertida. Recuerde llevar ropa y calzado abrigados. Cuando oscurece hace mucho frío. Estábamos preparados, pero muchas otras personas iban en pantalones cortos y zapatos abiertos. Hubo oportunidad de comprar leche con chocolate caliente, otras bebidas y bocadillos.

Mi hijo y yo recientemente nos embarcamos en una aventura de observación de estrellas en Tenerife, organizada por Tenerife Stars, y fue nada menos que mágica. Lo más destacado de nuestra experiencia fue visitar el Teide, un lugar que no sólo cuenta con vistas impresionantes sino que también ofrece una puerta de entrada incomparable a las maravillas del cosmos.

Nuestro guía, Ozzi, fue una notable combinación de humor y conocimiento, lo que hizo que toda la experiencia fuera educativa e increíblemente divertida. Su experiencia en astrología se hizo patente cuando contemplamos Saturno, Júpiter y la Luna, observando estos cuerpos celestes de cerca a través de un telescopio: una experiencia verdaderamente surrealista y humillante.

Lo que hizo nuestra aventura aún más enriquecedora fue el amplio conocimiento de Ozzi sobre el paisaje volcánico de la isla. Compartió anécdotas e historias intrigantes, algunas que se remontan a la época de Colón, que agregaron profundidad histórica a nuestro viaje astronómico.

Recomiendo de todo corazón Tenerife Stars a cualquiera que quiera explorar el cielo nocturno y aprender sobre la rica historia de Tenerife. No es sólo una gira; es una experiencia que te conecta con el universo y las fascinantes historias de Tenerife y nuestro planeta

Ozzi es un coordinador increíble y nos divertimos mucho durante este viaje. Recomiendo encarecidamente Tenerife Stars. Asegúrate de vestirte apropiadamente para el clima, hace frío ahí afuera.

Experiencia absolutamente increíble y buena relación calidad-precio. Las vistas eran increíbles al subir la montaña y por encima de las nubes y fue alucinante ver todas las estrellas y constelaciones. Hace bastante frío allí arriba, por lo que se necesitan gorros, guantes y abrigos, pero creo que vale la pena. Ozzi fue divertido y muy conocedor, recomiendo encarecidamente la excursión.

Excursión que no vale en absoluto el precio.
Reservamos la excursión sólo con ver las estrellas a través del telescopio por lo tanto sin cenar y subiendo de forma independiente con nuestro coche, hubiera sido más correcto tener un precio diferente para los que suben solos ya que el servicio ofrecido es casi insignificante.
Una vez que llegas al punto de observación te "ofrecen" vino o chocolate caliente POR UN PAGO (¿no eran suficientes los 45€ cada uno para mirar dentro del agujero del telescopio, mientras estás apiñado en larguísimas colas de gente esperando su turno?) ¿¿en el frio?)
Pregunta fría: ¡cúbrete MUY BIEN! Entre otras cosas, recomiendan traer toalla o manta del hotel (. ¿¿De verdad amigos?) Os garantizo que, a pesar de los 5°, quedarse quieto un par de horas con el viento del Teide no es precisamente agradable.
Falta de profesionalidad por parte del guía, que llegó tarde al punto de encuentro previsto sin avisar.
Luego hubo un hecho inesperado que provocó que el autobús desde el punto de encuentro hasta el punto de observación se averiara lo que provocó un retraso de 1 hora. Ciertamente no es culpa suya, pero ¿crees que hicieron algo para solucionar el inconveniente causado (por ejemplo, ofrecer bebidas calientes que tenían disponibles) ? Obviamente no. La impresión es que quieren maximizar las ganancias sin preocuparse por el cliente.
En cambio, 5 estrellas para Gian Marco, un astrónomo francófono que también habla italiano y español con fluidez y que supo hacer que un tema tan complejo como la astronomía fuera interesante y claro. Realmente bueno.
De lo contrario, muy poco recomendable.

En general, pensé que fue una experiencia increíble y Aussie, el instructor, fue brillante y tenía mucho conocimiento. El único inconveniente que diría es que probablemente había demasiada gente en la excursión, lo que hacía difícil observar bien a través de los telescopios, ya que te sentías presionado a dejar que la siguiente persona echara un vistazo.

Tarde y noche increíbles. Comida deliciosa, luego ve a ver la puesta de sol con fantásticas vistas mientras subes por encima de las nubes y, para colmo, disfrutas de una increíble experiencia de contemplar las estrellas. Ozzie es un narrador fabuloso, conocedor y divertido. ¡buena relación calidad-precio y vale la pena!

Very informative, Ozzie was excellent in knowledge, enthusiasm and entertainment. Only complaint would be the soup and dessert in the restaurant maybe weren't to our taste but overall a brilliant experience. We could feel the passion oozing out of Ozzie especially when the stars came out. Would definitely recommend.

Well organised, amazing trip. The night sky from Tiede is astonishing. Highly recommended.

Ozzie our guide on the Teide half day tour was excellent. Well informed, engaging, and made it a great tour. The tour itself is incredible - the sheer scale and the strangeness of the landscapes, coupled with the views to the neighbouring islands was spectacular.

It was a fascinating tour very carefully planned and full of knowledge and fun! I would highly recommend! What an amazing experience we had thank you

Was a lovely trip with amazing views would definitely recommend to friends and family also would do again if visiting tenerife and ozzi you were very informative and helpful thanks so much for a lovely night! Would recommend wearing warm clothes and good footwear!

Perfetct organization and professional explication regarding Tenerife Island and the stars!

Wow what an amazing experience from pick up to drop off… Ozzie our tour guide was a absolute gem funny, witty and extremely knowledgeable made the tour even more enjoyable… First stop small village in the mountains the restaurant was called piedras del teide.
Lovely 3 course meal with drinks provided on the table…
Hour later back on the coach to Mount Teide National park for stargazing what a experience that was.
3 telescopes set up the sky was alight Ozzie explained the planets and stars… You’ll need a coat as it gets chilly…
Few hours later your dropped off at your pick up point.

We absolutely loved the Tenerife Stars excursion. Ozzi was funny, informative and welcoming. The stars and the views were breathtaking. Our meal was really tasty, and we got to chat to a variety of interesting people at our table. The wine and jam tasting was really too. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tenerife.

If you're hesitant about travelling with this company, don't be. The whole experience from pick up to drop off was very professional and safe. The commentary was by a Dutch guy, and as always they are multililingual.
The trip in terms of value for money was great, and included a meal, with drinks, and the talk from the travel guide (and also company owner) gave me facts about the islands geology, history and included a trip to what has to be the darkest place I've visited. The view through the telescopes and with the naked eye was mind blowing. I used to think astronomy was boring, but havning assimilated just a portion of the facts on the cosmos, I look forward to a return journey.
The cost per couple is very reasonable for the length of time engaged, and the coach was like a settee on wheels, you just sat back & chilled out.
An added bonus for a retirees like us, was that this is a young business, which employs local staff, and I have no doubt it will flourish in years to come.
It's certainly left me champing at the bit until I can once more be astounded by all that surrounds 'the third rock from the sun. '

The trip was perfectly planned and paced and really helpful text beforehand. The trip leaves you with a much better appreciation of Tenerife and its very memorable. Fun, interesting and very special to see so much beauty. So glad we went!

We had an excellent evening with the kids. Our guide Ozzi was funny and knowledgeable. Was thoroughly enjoyable watching the sunset & learning about the night sky. Make sure you do take something warm to wear it can get very chilly up there at night.

Three weeks ago wednesday, I did this. This organization just lies about the excursion. Only 2 telescopes and NOT 5, the bus broke down (they lie about this, look at other reviews). Didn't have any descent tapas, wine 'tasting' (max 10 ml) out of a plastic cup! I know they are going to say I am fake or spam, please dont believe it. Save yourself some money and do not do this! UPDATE: family of a fake person, I am going to let that speak for itself.

Too many people. Not enough telescopes. Not worth it. Like herded cattle. Owner has replied it was not them but I have triple checked it was. There was a whole coach load and two telescopes. We went on the sunset tour on 12th February we stopped at a place for a three course meal which was soup, chicken and a Chocolate custard type thing on the way there. We were offered red wine, full sugar drinks or water. I was expecting only a small group.

The best excursion my mom and I have ever made. It was such a good experience and I have learnt a lot in a fascinating way. The guide talks so many languages and has a amazing humour. You could listen to him the whole day without getting bored. Maybe if he would have been my teacher, I would not have been a disaster in schoolAlso the food in the restaurant was very nice.
This organisation and the knowledge of this company is amazing, and I cant wait to do the excursion one more time.

The tour guide 'ozzi' was fantastic and his friend who helped with the telescopes, they both loved what they do and very knowledgeable, we learnt so much about the stars and it was very interesting. The wine and salsa tasting was a nice addition to the trip and the 3 course meal was great. We loved our time on Tiede, watching the sunset above the clouds, thankyou so much for the experience.
