Tuve una experiencia increíble en un ZooPark, con sus profesores apasionados y pacientes. Me inscribí en un curso de surf de día completo y una semana de duración, ¡y aprendí mucho! La organización fue muy complaciente y flexible con mi horario, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. Recomiendo encarecidamente esta escuela de surf a cualquiera que quiera aprender a surfear o mejorar sus habilidades. Gracias y espero volver algún día.

Escuela de surf de dudosa calidad, dado el precio absurdo que piden. La playa donde surfeas es maravillosa, pero seguro que no lo es gracias a la escuela de surf. La oferta descrita en el sitio era embarazosa porque dejaba la posibilidad de navegar solo al final de la lección, oportunidad que posteriormente no se concedió.

Muy buen ambiente, la playa y el pueblo son preciosos y los monitores son super majos y enseñan muy bien dándote consejos o ayudándote en lo que sea, repetimos mañana y todo hahaha

Tuve dos días completos de escuela de surf y un día simplemente tomé prestado el traje de neopreno y la tabla. El equipo es muy amigable y se acercó a mí directamente. La reserva también fue muy sencilla. Tuve a Nikol como instructora de surf, ella habla muy bien inglés, lo que me facilitó mucho las cosas. Se tomó el tiempo de explicarme todo detalladamente y me dio consejos una y otra vez. Muchas gracias querido equipo y un agradecimiento muy especial a Nikol

Comenzando desde cero, asistí a dos clases de surf de dos horas. Nicol y Martin fueron dos muy buenos profesores, pacientes, profesionales, capaces y siempre dispuestos a motivarte y darte los consejos adecuados. ¡Muy recomendable, una experiencia divertida que espero volver a hacer tarde o temprano!

Mi experiencia en la casa Morrison fue muy agradable, el personal es atento, reactuvi y resolutivo, la limpieza siempre muy bien hecha y el contacto con el equipo es genial. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente esta casa a cualquiera que quiera pasar unas buenas vacaciones de surf y de buen humor!

Experiencia 360 brutal. El surfcamp Morrison una ilusión para los 10 amigos que hemos venido, todos muy atentos para que estuviéramos a gusto en todo momento. El tema de las clases de surf: he estado en muchas escuelas pero el nivel que se gastan en Zoopark no lo he visto en ninguna. Los monitores súper profesionales, motivadores y con muchos tips para mejorar tu surf. Gracias Pedro, Martín y Fran.y a Manu darle las gracias por cambiar mi manera de ver el surf. Hasta pronto!

This was one of the best week of my life!
The surf spot is absolutely amazing, Zoopark instructors are excellent, patient & all have their own styles of teaching.
In one week I improved so much that I was autonomous in the water after 4 lessons, having so much fun ‍️
I will definitely come back! I 100% recommend Zoopark

Instructors are very nice and good in what they do. Don’t expect your money back when you can’t surf due to weather circumstances though! Got ripped off for 400 euros.

It was a wonderful experience! I had classes with Fran, Manu and Pedro and they were very professional and capable, precise in explanations, very patient and kind. Always glad to help you both in and out of the water. Recommended whether you are beginner or advanced and intermediate.

Stayed in the surf house for 10 days in Sept 2021. Communication with Xenia was absolutely brilliant before the trip. But once arrived I pretty much received no response to my texts until the end of the trip when I was already home.

It was supposed to be a kitesurf trip. There was no wind most days so did surf instead. The surf lessons and the instructors were brilliant. Relaxed guys, knowledgeable, accommodating and super fun. Loved it and would recommend it. 5* for that

The surf house was simple but lovely. Location is brilliant, 5min walk from the beach, the most popular restaurants, and from the surf school. The surfing place is a 5min drive away. The schools has busses taking you there and back. Lunch is provided for free (Sandwhiches) which is also very nice.

Note that Famara is very expensive compared to the prices of the rest of the island.

The kitesursf lessons however were horrendous. I made it clear to the instructors before the lessons that I had some experience but needed a refresher (did beginner lessons pre-covid) : someone to monitor me when I set up the kite and launch it, and to help me with getting on the board again and ride up wind.

I was given a size 12 kite. A random kiter who just came from the water came to be and advised that it's too windy for a size 12 kite. I thanked him and waited to confirm with the girl who was "instructing" me. She ignored my concerns and we launched it anyway. Turns out, the guy was right. Kite was way too big, and i spent my hours more about trying to not get blown away into the beautiful mountain and rocks.

EVenmore, when launching the kite, I kept asking the instructor girl who was holding the kite to check and give me the ok on the lines as I felt something was off. She gave me a confident Ok, so i assumed it's all good.
As I m about to launch the kite, another instructor noticed that the lines were in fact the wrong way around and came screaming towards me to stop the launch. I was grateful for that. I wasn' grateful for the attitude he gave me afterwards, especially after I made if very clear that i wasn't sure about the lines to the girl. Turns out, the man has a bit of a reputation for having a short temper and mistreating clients. Heard numeroues stories of making girls clients cry. Can't remember any of the instructor's names now.

In the water, I struggled getting on the board. Was my first time in open water with waves (my previous lessons in the UK were in a flat lagoon"). That's ok I thought, i m here to learn. But my instructor did not give me ANY TIPS. Even after asking her multiple time. Why? Because she didn't speak english. She stayed with me for 1 hour, pretty much leaving the other students to themselves (which was great for me), but the lack of tips meant I just sat with my butt in the water for 2 hours, drinking salty water, failure after failure.

The lessons normally last for 4 hours. After 2 hours I decided to cut my losses and landed the kite. I laid on the beach in complete disappotment of my experience, and exhausted from fighting the oversized kite.

At that point i noticed that most of the groups were formed of 1 instructor to 4 people which is 1 person too much compared to what the website says.

I don't normally write reviews, and it's taken me 2 years to write this one but now I m in Fuerteventura looking for kite lessons, and have read a lot of poor reviews of the schools here. So i thought I'd share my honest experience as well.

It's an easy fix for ZooPark, i think. And it's a pity that the kite school is so bad, when the surf one is excellent.

Great experience, we went with the 4 hour session and it was definitely worth it. It gives you more time to enjoy trying to surf and to get a better understanding of the correct techniques. Shout out to all the instructors and staff; they were very helpful and attentive, especially when you have a lot of difficulty trying to stand up on the board. Would highly recommend this experience and zooPark Famara Surf. We also had a transfer from our hotel to the beach by one of the zooPark staff, which was great.

Had my first surf lesson ever here at ZooPark Famara, Manu and the guys running the school are amazing, cool and professional at the same time. The lesson is very well managed in english with theory and lots of practice, always under their supervision. Appreciated also the focus on warming up and safety in the currents. Tons of fun and great folk, will definetely come back for other sessions.

Very good school. Staff is very friendly and relaxed. The instructors are locals and give you a lot of useful feedback on how to improve. The beach is perfect for starters and not dangerous. Even you are above 55 and a little bit sporty don’t hesitate and book a lesson:).

Hola chicos! Súper experiencia con Manu 5 días de surf donde aprendimos no solo a coger olas, aprendimos mucho más que eso, toda la teoría antes de entrar al agua ayudaba mucho a entender el porqué de los fallos, el porqué de las olas y a aprender un poco más sobre nosotros mismo!

Es el mejor profesor que jamas haya tenido!

I had an amazing stay at the Morrison house! The house is exactly what you need and I met amazing people there! The surflessons were incredible, never before did I have such great instructors!

We had 4 kite sessions and we reallyreally enjoyed and learned a lot! Top and professional instructors an also the spot in Famara is great to learn and improve kiting.

Experiencia inolvidable, tanto por los profesionales como por el material, son de lo mejor, su localización es un paraíso, repetiré en cuanto pueda.

Staff increíble, las condiciones metereologicas no fueron las mejores, pero lo compensaron con profesionalidad y simpatía, unos días inolvidables de kite en Famara!

We stayed at the Morrison house. Super chill place kept clean everyday. Great for meeting a lot of people but be prepared for a packed house if you choose Morrison (Marley was more relaxed if that is what you are looking for)
10min walk to the surf school where the staff was amazing! The surf instructors (we had Fran, Martin, Pedro and Nicole) are really supportive, patient, give great advice and are just awesome people.
All in all we had an amazing stay at zoopark Famara

I bought a camp for 5 days and Thatcher was awesome! All trailer were very nice and helpful. Every Day we leant something new and had enough time to try to praktyce. Special thanks to Frank who is the best trailer EVER!

Brilliant experience! Omar is a great kite surf instructor - very patient, pushing you to be better while making sure you’re always safe. Lots to learn and lots of fun:)

Estuvimos un grupo de amigas y fue una experiencia única y afortunadamente repetible porque pensamos volver en cuanto podamos, el enclave es perfecto, el ambiente, la profesionalidad y el trato inmejorable. Si buscas un lugar mágico donde aprender o mejorar tu deporte favorito, el surf, encontrarás eso y mucho mas.

La mejor escuela de surf de Lanzarote. Trato excepcional desde la reserva hasta el fin del curso.con ellos ha sido una experiencia maravillosa para volver a repetir y recomendar a todo el mundo.

We opted for a 5 day package with surfing lessons every day and we really had a great time. The explanations were very clear and all the instructors were very nice and helpful. We had very nice weather at the end of November and the beach is great for beginners. We couldn't have had a better beginners surfing experience. Thanks a lot to all the team!

Esperienza stupenda!
I ragazzi della scuola sono tutti gentili e disponibili, parlano bene l'inglese quindi è semplice comunicare con loro.
Noi essendo principianti e non avendo mai preso una tavola in mano, abbiamo deciso di fare mezza giornata di lezione (35€ pp - dicembre 2021) completo di muta, tavola e maglietta della scuola.
Consiglio assolutamente almeno una volta nella vita di provare a fare surf! Gli istruttori sono attenti a tutto e se c'è qualsiasi problema puoi rivolgerti a loro.
State attenti solo al fatto che c'è veramente tanto vento e ti può portare via insieme alla tavola!
Si può anche solo noleggiare l'attrezzatura oppure fare una bella sessione di yoga in spiaggia, cosa che sicuramente farò la prossima volta che andrò!

No cumplieron en 4 de las 5 cosas acordadas en el curso de Kite Surf.
Contratamos 3 horas por día, 5 días. Un total de 15 horas. Hicimos unas 11 horas. Había días que llegaban tarde al curso y nos hacían recoger y terminar antes. Un día cancelaron el curso cuando estábamos a mitad de la clase por que no había aire, con promesas de que nos debían medio día para otro momento, nunca llegó. Otro día media clase perdida por que el material estaba en mal estado y tuvieron que ir hasta la escuela desde la playa para coger más material.
Mucho material que tienen en muy mal estado y muy mal cuidado. Se supone que lo tienen que limpiar tras las clases para quitar arena y demás, no lo hacen.
Dicen que tiene 2,3 o 4 instructores. Es mentira. Solo hay uno, el resto no sabe navegar y casi ni volar la cometa.
Contratamos curso de 2-3 personas por instructor. Sin contar con que realmente solo es un instructor, había días que estábamos 4 alumnos con una persona (que no era instructor) en grupos de hasta 12 personas.
Las tarjetas con el nivel obtenido si no se las pedimos no nos las dan y tengo mis dudas de que sean válidas.
Todo esto será puesto en conocimiento de la IKO a ver que les parece que se publiciten como instructores IKO sin serlo.
Omar, el único instructor, sabe lo que hace, se ve controla, pero es un vende humo, no cumple número de horas y no cumple promesas de devolver las horas que faltan.
Lo único bueno es que al disponer nosotros de días pudimos ajustar el horario y los días a las mejores condiciones de viento y mar. Si no hubiera sido así, te llevan a hacer kitesurf aunque no haya aire y no vuele ni la cometa, eso si, cobrándote el día (aunque te aseguran que si no hay condiciones te dan otro día de curso).
Y además no es nada barato. Mismo precio en la zona de Tarifa en Cádiz y parecen mucho más profesionales (aunque no lo he podido confirmar aún).
Prueba de todo esto es que no uno ni dos, sino hasta tres días de los que estuvimos, algún alumno harto de todo esto, se quitó el equipo y se fue después de 1 hora esperando a que le dieran una cometa para empezar. Desde luego esa hora la contaban dentro de las horas del curso.
Y los cursos de surf … no hicimos pero les veíamos todos los días ir. Grupos de 15 personas con un instructor, precios normales, equipos destrozados … más de lo mismo … para los turistas que van y pagan lo que sea un par de días, están encantados, pero no es ni de lejos una escuela en la que aprender realmente, es una escuela para turistas y para sacar dinero de cualquier forma y a cualquier precio.
Eso si, lo primero que te dicen es que pagues.
Ni repetiría ni se lo aconsejo a nadie.

2 of us got an afternoon and morning beginner lesson. Our coach Martin was very attentive, explaining both the theory and safety aspects of surfing before moving on to the practical side of things.
In the water he was very good at giving 1: 1 feedback despite having lots of people to watch out for and even managed to stop my girlfriend from drifting out to Morocco haha can't recommend enough!

We had a really great experience with our surf instructor Nicole. She was very enthusiastic, kind and patient. She made us exited to go surfing again! Kind regards Floor&Enzo

Muy simpáticos y buenos profesores. Pedro el más majo! Me ayudó mucho a mejorar. Pillé dos clases de medio día y me uní al grupo del surf camp. Es verdad que la clase tardaba un poco en empezar (o yo estaba con muchas ganas de entrar al agua, jeje) pero la dedicación del monitor en el agua lo compensaba. Además me dejaron quedarme el neopreno un ratito más para seguir practicando con la tabla de mi novio.

Great experience. Very attentive and professional.
We were absolute beginners, and after one day we can say we are not anymore.
The experience was well thought and the theory and safety instructions were very helpful, precise and to the point.
Later in the water, the instructor (Martin in this case) always had a tip or small insight specific for you. You could tell he knew and loved the sport.
He also was very attentive and helped with my mindset, very good coach! Totally recommend it!
They also served a sandwich (vegetarian option available), water and juice during the break, which was really appreciated!

Proprietari della scuola, Sergio e Ksenia, sempre disponibili per qualsiasi esigenza, Surf House fenomenali per passare una vacanza informale in compagnia di tante persone di diversa provenienza. Istruttori di Kite bravissimi e disponibilissimi a iniziare dal "capo" Omar. Grazie a Ermes per la sua disponibilità e simpatia, e Azucena che mi ha seguito con passione, pazienza e professionalità l'ultimo giorno del corso culminato con il water start. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

Ha sido un gran acierto reservar mi primera experiencia de surf con ZooPark Famara. Elegí el pack de 1 día entero (de 10.30 a 15h), fue la mejor opción. La primera parte fue teoría de cómo lidiar las olas del mar, corrientes, técnica subir a la tabla y ya nos fuimos a surfear.

El instructor de mi grupo se llama Martín, muy bueno, mucha paciencia y muy buenos consejos. Todo el rato estaba pendiente de ti y te corregía.

Después hicimos un descanso, nos proporcionaron un tentempié y luego otras 2h más de surf. Estuvo genial! Sin ninguna duda repetiré con ellos cuando vuelva a Caleta de Famara ️

Muy buenos profesores, hicimos con una amiga un curso de 3 días y aprendimos un montón. Fran super atento en todo momento para ayudarnos y mejorar la técnica de todos. Los otros profesores también nos ayudaban si veían que teníamos algún problema. En resumen, super recomendable.

En apartemento es muy agradable con.una buena ubicacion à 2 pasos del mar, el material de surf es bueno y toda la equipa de zoopark es super simpatica.lo consejo!

La playa es impresionante, fuimos un grupo de 4, teníamos un monitor sólo para nosotras, un gran profesor que recalcaba mucho la tecnica y te ayudaba con todo! Un crack, para volver sin duda
