En pleno Camino. Precioso, con gusto, y practico. Los dueños son gente estupenda. A quien le guste Casa Susi le encantara Casa SanAndo ya en Galicia!

Susi es una de las mejores cocineras que he tenido el placer de conocer. Ella es agradable, amable y muy acogedora. Fermín es muy servicial y atento. No hay suficientes palabras para decir lo increíble que fue esta estancia. Las instalaciones son hermosas y te sientes como en casa. ¡Me encanta!

Un albergue con una hospitalidad abrumadoramente cálida. Susi y su pareja son dos personas sumamente amables que te transmiten un sentimiento de familia y cuidan mucho a todos y cada uno de los peregrinos.
La cena que tuvimos juntos fue sencillamente deliciosa. Casero y predominantemente con productos de nuestra propia huerta.
La gran sala tiene capacidad para diez personas.
Difícilmente hay un albergue en el Camino donde se pueda sentir tanto el ambiente peregrino como aquí.
Gracias por el gran alojamiento y experiencia.

Albergue con encanto cuidado al detalle con mucho gusto y atención exquisita por parte de Susi y Fermín que te hacen sentir como en casa.
Muy Limpio, tranquilo y ubicación y entorno extraordinario.
La cena espectacular con materia prima de calidad y muy buena elaboración, en la que todos los peregrinos disfrutamos de una velada muy especial.

Excelente posada con pocas camas. Creo que lo malo es la obligación de cenar. Aunque la comida estuvo bien, le gustaría tomar esa decisión usted mismo. La anfitriona y el anfitrión hacen todo lo posible y son cordiales.
Lo que resultaba algo inquietante era la iluminación de las escaleras. Ilumina toda la habitación. Yo diría que 1 luz es suficiente.
En general creo que es uno de los mejores albergues.

Muy cálida bienvenida por parte de Susi y Firmin. Hostal muy confortable y excelente cena en conjunto.
Definitivamente uno de mis mejores alojamientos en el Camino Francés.

La comida deliciosa, el ambiente confortable y las sensaciones son importantes.
Este es el lugar que quiero visitar incluso antes de empezar el Camino.
Busqué en su IG y FB a través de lo que otras personas compartían.
Los platos que preparan con las frutas y verduras que ellos mismos cultivan parecen muy tentadores.

Luego vienen las habitaciones, ¡todas con camas individuales! !
La sensación general es cómoda.

Fue realmente bueno después de registrarme ayer, ¡me gusta!

La anfitriona Susi es australiana.
La sonrisa es dulce y cálida, muy encantadora.
Después de hacer el Camino varias veces decidí montar un refugio

Son cálidos, amables y muy atentos y entusiastas.

Al entrar en la habitación, miré fijamente hacia un rincón independiente.
Elegí este asiento inmediatamente, suerte

Puedes pedir una copa de vino después del check in.
Remoja tus pies y relájate junto al huerto hasta el arroyo.la cena es vegetariana
Los ingredientes provienen del patio trasero.
Vino tinto de vecinos y pueblos vecinos.
¡Todo lo que puedo decir es que está delicioso!
La primera ensalada mixta de verduras es muy refrescante
Me encanta el pan con tomate y ajo.

Si la segunda lasaña no dijera que era vegetariana, habría pensado que era carne.
¡Sabe muy bien!

El postre son peras guisadas en vino tinto.también es mi amor

Este es el lugar donde espero existir siempre.
Covid les hizo considerar brevemente cerrar operaciones
Las donaciones de diversas fuentes les permitieron reparar el espacio y sobrevivir.

Ojalá los futuros peregrinos se detengan aquí.
Siente la gente hermosa, la comida y el espacio aquí.

I can't forget about the night i spend in casa susi in july 2022. WE were having a dinner when sudenly, one of thé guest from France fell down from her chair and start collapsing on thé ground. She has been burned by thé sun plus She got covid.
The two owner organised things so quickly.

Accueil très chaleureux, un thé à notre arrivée. Convivialité assurée. Excellent repas. Dortoir confortable. Je la recommande vivement. Susi et Firmin sont des hôtes comme nous aimerions en rencontrer tous les jours sur le chemin de Saint-Jacques.

Our most amazing stay on the Camino so far! A place that feels like home! And hosts that feel like parents no matter how old you are. I highly recommend the community dinner, it brings everyone in the table together, thanks to Susi and Fermin (the hosts) that open up and tell their story and than we share our reason to walk the Camino. Amazing food that Susi makes herself (a lot from their garden) and truly they make you feel like family there. Nothing like that in any other Albergue. It cost 28€ including dinner and breakfast-totally worth it.

Wonderful place great hosts, great food. The very essence of the Camino. Book ahead or prepare to be disappointed.

Pazzesco, se potessi darei 10 stelle, albergue ricavato in una casa di oltre 200 anni e ho avuto il piacere e l'onore di vedere anche il piano superiore ristrutturato dove vivono i proprietari Fermin e Susi
Bellissima la camera che era una stalla, come i bagni e tutta la casa, letti non a castello e comodissimi, fantastici Susi e Fermin che ti accolgono come fossi un fratello, cena comunitaria davvero eccellente con i prodotti del loro orto. Insomma una esperienza unica e da provare.

Une grande chambre sans lits superposés (c'est un luxe sur le chemin de Compostelle).
L'auberge est propre, bien tenue et l'accueil y est des plus chaleureux.
Le gros plus: le dîner fait maison à base de légumes du jardin. Excellent et très appréciable sachant que les restaurants espagnols sur le chemin de Compostelle vous servent généralement des frites.

Susi et son mari sont très gentils et accueillants. L'auberge est très bien tenue, très propre. Et le dîner était copieux et délicieux, avec des produits du jardin. Il est possible d'y aller et de se tremper les pieds dans la rivière. Un très bon souvenir lors de mon pèlerinage à Compostelle

This is such a special place to stay. Susi and Fermin were both so warm and welcoming, and do an incredible job of fostering community. The dinner was probably my best on the camino Frances-it was all fresh from the garden or locally produced (even the excellent wine). To top it all off, the river in the back was chilly and perfectly refreshing after taking the mountain route into town. I would go out of my way to stay here again, and will certainly recommend it.

Really felt like a home for pilgrims because everything was designed to bring us together like a family - the single beds, the communal meal, the garden and bonus river flowing behind the house. The house is naturally cooled even during the hottest part of summer.

Although not open yet I have had the preview during the final weeks of renovation. This will be a must stay location with remarkable hosts. Keep a an eye on the opening. You will love this special venue.

Leon에서 Trabadelo까지 묵었던 숙소중에 단연 최고였습니다. 알베르게에서 기대할수 있을만한것들은 다 갖춰져있고 옆에 있는 물가에서 물놀이도 너무 좋았지만 뭐니뭐니해도 이 알베르게는 저녁을 함께 대화하면서 먹는 가족적인 분위기인데 이게 제일 좋았습니다. 다른 순례자들과도 더 교류를 원하신다면 정말 최고의 장소인것같아요! 아 밥도 Susi가 직접하는데 굉장히 맛있습니다!

What a night to remember! From food, hospitality, amenities, people, everything was perfect and anything you can expect from an albergue, it is here plus more. But I think the highlight of Casa Susi is withou a doube, Susi and Fermin and their family-like atmosphere during dinner. A great opportunity to meet other peregrinos as well. You can see from the photos that we were very happy that night: ] A must visit albergue!

Susi es una persona 10, nos atendió en todo lo que necesitamos ese día, vale la pena incluir la cena y el desayuno. Sobre todo la cena, donde Susi a parte de cocinar de lujo, fomenta la conversación entre los huéspedes.
Además el sitio es demasiado bonito, tiene acceso al río donde puedes meter los pies en el agua. Si volviera a hacer el Camino sin duda repetiría.

Best place I stayed on the Camino. Stayed here in off season while booking in advance, we had a small group of people and the dinner was lovely and vegetarian. The house itself was amazing and Susi & Fremin were really the most friendly and interesting people.

Very nice stay again. Friendly, very clean, very good food, nice relaxation possibilities. Very advisable for every pelgrim.

Avec Sylviane et Bertrand (moi c'est Daniel), nous avons été hébergé chez Susi et Permin.génial! Le pauvre Permin était bloqué du dos! Je lui ai promis d'allumer 2 cierges pour qu'il se remette! Chose promise, chosr faite!

We had an amazing warm welcome from the lovely hosts Susi & Fermin. Then a delicious home cooked meal and great evening festivities followed by a comfy bed for the night! Highly recommend stopping at Casa Susi on your Camino

Susi and Fermin were such wonderful hosts, I enjoyed their fantastic hospitality and the albergue was beautifully renovated and j felt at home straight away! Thank you for making my Camino an experience I will never forget!

Casa Susi is a very special place! It is small, intimate, and lovingly cared for by Susi and Fermín. You know when you arrive that this is different from most albergues.

The dinner was delicious and not rushed. The number of guests means that everybody has a chance to share their experience and meet each other. There was plenty of wine and laughs.

The bed was very comfortable. Since I was the first to arrive, I chose to sleep in the "penthouse". The whole place is spotless and the shower was very good.

I intentionally walked a short day (from Villafranca del Bierzo along the alternative ridge route and then dropping down to Trabadelo) to stay there because I had heard many good things about it.
I hope that someday I get to visit Casa Susi again!

De passage dans le village je demande un peu d électricité, cela m est refusé et il me dit d aller dans une autre auberge, belle solidarité

As soon as I arrived the welcome was terrific and I received a lot of help happily given with an unrelated problem. As I write there’s live music and singing in the background, I am resting on a v comfortable (single bed) taking in the palpable atmosphere of this lovingly converted 300 year old barn that nestles next to a river in which we can swim (to cold today) idyllic. Dinner is about to be served made from by themselves using vegetables (yes vegetables, very rarely seen) from their own garden everyone is eagerly anticipating an experience at dinner, I would be very happy to stay for longer.

Susy and Firmin are two special people. They are always available and ready to help for any need. The place is beautiful and comfortable and it is a pleasure to stop at this well-kept oasis in all its details. Anyone who decides to stay overnight here will be satisfied and fascinated.

Let’s just say that the river is cold, very cold. Everything else is quite the opposite!

Susi and Fermin are ready to help. They are kind owners and share their story as well as a very good community dinner with their guests.

We had a very tasty home-cooked dinner with a very good postres. We could choose between rose and vino tinto and they’ve both been good! On top, it’s all been part of a surprise birthday dinner for one of the fellow pilgrims!

A marvelous experience for me and my wife in the CdS. It’s clean, quiet, and the hosts are thoughtful and caring people. It is clear that they are devoted to their albergue and their guests. The decor inside the old converted barn is amazing. There are only a handful of albergues that will stand out in our memories of the CdS. This is certainly one of them.

Una albergue precioso, que antiguamente era una cuadra. Lo han sabido aprovechar al máximo y ha quedado un albergue fabuloso. Se agradece muchísimo que no sean literas, unas camas individuales con buenos colchones. Los baños y las duchas super bonitos y funcionales. Me he sentido muy bien.
Según el anfitrión Fermín, que tb es de Pamplona, tras 3 años he sido la primera pamplonica en pasar por allí!
Una pareja estupenda y un trato muy familiar.

Siento no haber participado de la CENA, ya que llegué muy tarde y cansadísima. Se agradece la opción vegetariana (aunque ese día casualmente había pollo.)

Me extrañó muchísimo que me dieran una bolsa de basura grande y negra para meter la mochila dentro.
Muy amablemente Fermín me indicó que era para evitar la plaga de chinches, tanto si existen en nuestra mochila como si existen en la mochila de otros peregrinos.
. ¡¡ Pero con la que está cayendo con los plásticos, no veo que esta sea una buena solución responsable y ecológica para nuestra madre tierra!
Seguro que encontráis alguna alternativa para solucionar esto que me parece tan importante, que lo es realmente.
! No a los plásticos!

Tengo que decir ante las opiniones de algunas personas escritas antes que esta, que nadie te obliga a cenar en absoluto, de hecho yo llegue tarde y me preguntaron si quería cenar y les dije que normalmente no ceno y que estaba muy cansada. Nadie me obligó a cenar ni nada por el estilo.yo solo dormí esa noche.

Algo a tener en cuenta y que se puede mejorar ya que es un albergue sin ánimo de lucro, es no establecer de antemano el precio de la cena o del desayuno.ya que esé si sería el verdadero espíritu del camino.
Bueno es una opinión personal.

Y por último, deciros que hubo un incidente a la noche, una chica cayó por las tres escaleras que hay desde el baño a la habitación donde están las camas. Creo que sería interesante que pusierais unos marcadores luminosos, para poder evitar algún percance. Y de paso, deciros que las luces de emergencia que está situada en el techo, una que es muy brillante intensa, dificulta el descanso, ya que es como una poderosa farola dentro de la habitación. No sé si esto se podría solucionar para mejorar del todo lo que ya es muy bueno de por sí.

Por cierto.ayer me dejé el sombrero, es de esos de pescador color beige claro, con una flecha amarilla del camino de santiago. Llevaba muchos años conmigo pero ya ha llegado el momento de cambiar de dueño, por si algún peregrino lo necesita.

El mejor albergue de todo el camino con mucha diferencia. Un placer conocer a Susi y Fermín, la hospitalidad personificada. Espero repetir en el futuro.

Wonderful hosts at this Albergue! The evening meal (optional) was delicious. The accommodations, though simple, were very comfortable and clean. Location is perfect - the Camino is right out the door. My wife and I would stay here again without question. 5+ Stars in our book.

Excepcionales Susi y Mintxo. Acogedor espacio para peregrinos con camas individuales, deliciosa comida casera con productos de la huerta, jardín y río. Todo perfecto para descansar.

This is the most amazing albergue. Susi accommodated my dietary restriction, serving an outstanding homemade meal without any dairy that was absolutely delicious. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are private. She insists on dinner together, which is a blast, and the wine is outstanding- the best I've had yet. I want to stay here longer.

One of the best albergue on the Camino, Susi and her husband treat all the pilgrims like friends, and serve us with whatever they get from their little farm. It's not only a decent place to stay, but could be a highlight in the whole journey.

A very special stop on the Camino. The loveliest hosts, a beautiful renovated barn (no bunks!), tea on arrival and a delicious home cooked meal (Susi’s soup has healing properties I am certain) and excellent breakfast. Un albergue estupendo, el trato de los dos hospitaleros fenomenal y un ambiente muy bueno, para repetir así que volveré seguro
