Excelente albergue. Respetuoso con el medio ambiente y enfocado al bienestar.
Muy tranquilo, agradable y energizante. Hay una sesión de Yoga (gratuita) antes de la comida. Comida preparada por nuestros anfitriones y deliciosa.
Posibilidad de recibir un masaje.
Un poco más lejos que los demás Albergues, ¡pero merece la pena!
Si te gustan los caracoles, este es su emblema y tienen muchas esculturas de caracoles escondidas por todo el albergue:)

Muy bonito albergue, uno de los mejores que tuve en el Camino de Santiago. La comida vegetariana es deliciosa y hay yoga todas las noches.

Wow, wow, wow! What a beautiful Albergue. Eco-friendly and offering vegan food options. Home-made and prepared with a lot of love, the people who work there are amazing! My faith in humanity has nearly restored ;)

On top of the food and the lovely rooms, they have a garden with hammocks and three gorgeous dogs. The dogs are so friendly and sweet. I felt the need to cuddle and hug.

In the evenings they provide Yoga classes for free.

Ahora ESTO es lo que debería ser un albergue. Santo cielo, casi me quedo allí como voluntario a pesar de que hubiera significado cambiar el resto de mi Camino por él.
Para acreditar mis credenciales, actualmente estoy en mi cuarto camino y este lugar es realmente algo especial. Ni UNA cosa mala al respecto.
Clases de yoga gratuitas para relajarse después de un largo día. Una plétora de hamacas, tres perros pequeños y cena comunitaria directamente desde el jardín. Todo amenizado con una serenata de guitarreos y cantos de los hospitaleros antes de la cena, bendiciones y un té maravilloso que seguro que también es de cosecha propia. Por último, pero no menos importante, cada hospitalero tiene una presencia tranquilizadora y te hace sentir como si acabaras de entrar en la casa de tu abuela.

When I passed by the village Hospital de Obrigo in 2019 I said myself that I will stay there overnight should I ever hike the Camino again.
So did I when I hiked the trail in 2023. I was lucky enough to find a bed in the Albergue Verde. The Albergue Verde is one of the two Albergues, which stood out positively during this year's Camino hike. They use the vegetables from the own garden. The hosts take care of the premises and guests. The house and garden is very well looked after. When I stayed at the Albergue, I was lucky enough to be spoiled with vegan food, which I particularly appreciated. They prepared a hummus that was unlike I ever tasted before.
It is the passion for being hosts and their will to spoil us pilgrims that make the Albergue Verde such an outstanding and special place. If you want to experience a special stay, go to the Albergue Verde! It's an absolute no brainer to spend time there and with the team managing the Albergue.

This was the best alburgue experience we had while on the Camino. Everything was great and the hosts were very caring for all the pilgrims. The food was exceptional. More alburgues need to be like this.

Un lugar realmente especial, vale la pena desviarse un poco de la carretera para llegar a este oasis de paz y regenerarse en el camino con yoga, mensaje, relajación y una exquisita cena vegetariana. Muy buenos propietarios/hospitaleros. ¡Gracias!

¡Simplemente el mejor lugar en el camino! La habitación era preciosa, camas super cómodas! Toda la casa es encantadora y el personal y los voluntarios son muy amables y acogedores. ¡Hay una clase de yoga, bicicletas, una donación de cena vegana comunitaria y fue simplemente la mejor comida hasta ahora! ¡Todavía quedan 3 lindos perritos para completar la experiencia perfecta e inolvidable! ¡Amo cada segundo y fue difícil dejarlo! Ahh también hay una donación de desayuno! Mucho amor por este lugar gracias!

THE BEST PART OF MY CAMINO!?

The staff truly care, their heart goes into everything. I felt more at home there than I do at my real home.
Incredible energy and vibes, delicious home made vegetarian food, beautiful yard with adorable dogs, but what makes it so magical is the beautiful people who work there isa, Pablo, and Aiha

One of my favorite albergues on the camino! It's a little out of the way, but it is definitely worth walking a few hundred meters to stay the night there!

The atmosphere was amazing, with dogs in the garden, a sound massage in a separate little building, and delicious vegetarian food for dinner.

I will definitely come back on my next camino:)

My favorite albergue on the Camino Frances. The warmth and heart in this place are incredible. Yoga, the veggie food and the people are amazing. Thanks for letting me stay in this wonderful place on earth.:)

This place is a absolute must-stay during your Camino.

Food prepared with homegrown produce sound-therapy and massage-shower.

But most important. The women running this place is the embodiment of the Camino. Sweet, caring and beautiful. Couldn't imagine a better place to stay.

Amazing Camino experience. Fantastic vegetarian food. They give you cloth bedsheets. Clean and comfortable with a fireplace. The people who run it could not be kinder.

The best alberque I stayed so far, friendly owner and great facilities. Big dormitory with wooden frame beds with a storage space underneath, separate ladies and gents.
Shared kitchen and living room. Close to town/village centre but in quiet area.

J'ai été très bien accueilli, un hospitalière m'a proposé un massage pour ma tendinite au Tibia. La chambre de 14 est assez spacieuse. Un cours de yoga est proposé. Le lieu est propice à la détente, repos et plus selon. Il n'y a pas de réservation, mais c'est très bien. Je recommande.

On se sent tout de suite comme dans un cocon protecteur et douillet. La décoration est magnifique, beaucoup d'espace, beaucoup de chaleur humaine. Nous avons pu participer à une séance de yoga qui nous a décontracté le dos et les muscles mis à mal lors de la journée de marche, fantastique expérience! Et pour finir, Antony nous a concocté un excellent repas qui nous a tous rassemblés dans une ambiance joyeuse et amicale. Un grand merci pour cette soirée magique et cette calme nuit:)

Increíble, experiencia para repetir. Cena con canciones y buenas conversaciones. Sitio para guardar la bicicleta. Buen desayuno dando la voluntad.

Simply the best albergue on the Camino do Santiago.
Genuinely kind and friendly staff.
Edu is a top vegan chef and runs the place in a relaxed but professional manner.
The garden is a lovely place to relax in.
I enjoyed a yoga session which reminded me that I have muscles that I need to attend to.
The location, being ten minutes off the track puts many people off. That is ridiculous because they are missing out on such a great albergue.presumably they would rather stay in a busy, run of the mill albergue that happens to be directly on the path.

Best experience on the camino so far. Food, accommodation and the hosts are excellent. They really know how to create a temporary home for the tired pilgrim.

I rarely dish out top marks for anything, but Albergue Verde was utopian. The generosity and genuine love that resonates from this beautiful haven was amazing.

Fantastico! Uno degli albergue migliori incontrati sul cammino! Bellissimo tutto: le camere, il soggiorno e il grande giardino esterno con comode amache per rilassarsi. I ragazzi che lo gestiscono sono super accomodanti, gentili e disponibili. La cucina é vegetariana e sia la cena comunitaria che la colazione sono davvero ottime e abbondanti. Ho conosciuto diverse persone che hanno deciso di allungare la loro permanenza qui da quanto si stava bene! Super consigliato!

A very long day of backpacking brought me to the tiny hamlet of Hospital de Órbego. There, I stayed at the Albergue Verde which is a delightful private hostel that was a little paradise for me. In addition to the generous hospitality, I was given the best meal I had on the entire Camino. The warm hospitalero taught a multilingual (French, Spanish & English) yoga class that evening (at no cost). One of his lessons resonated with me: "Richness is not defined by how much you have, but by how much you don't need. " So much yes.

Lugar con hamacas para descansar. Un lugar muy bonito y los hospitaleros muy amables. Ofrecen cena y desayuno vegano.

Espectacular para descansar. Amacas chill out personal muy amable cena muy rica vegetariana me explicaron sitios para visitar recomiendo el rio después de una etapa nada mejor que el agua helada para relajar. Eso si tienen perretes para mi no es problema me ha encantado.

Simplemente espectacular. Llegamos después de la hora de la cena y muy amablemente nos preparo una CENAZA con sus productos de la huerta. Menudo tomate más rico!

Hands down my favorite albergue on the Camino Frances. It's about time I write a review - I stayed here three nights on my first Camino three years ago and another three nights last month on the Camino. There is a huge garden with hammocks, lots of grass, and dogs and cats running around. The beds are super comfy - last Camino and this one, it was by far the best night's of sleep I got the whole way. And last but not least, the food is out of this world. Hands down the best meal I had on the whole camino - everyone I talked to was in agreeance. It's 100% vegan, but that didn't stop anyone, eating any diet, from devouring it. Truth be told, the food was probably the biggest reason I stayed so many nights - and it's a donativo meal! The staff is great and clearly do this from the bottom of their hearts. Thank you so much for everything Albergue Verde!
