By far our best experience in Barcelona was the Food Tour by Alex, and Aborigens! First of all, Alex followed our wishes to try everything, and took us to markets, special shops, restaurants, and pop up food trailers to give us a taste of the variety and opulence of the Catalan food and drink! We even went to a shop entirely based on ham and pork, with huge ham hocks arranged on big skewers to shave off the slivers and taste! Alex was incredibly well versed in Barcelona lore, and is a relaxed guide, listening to your tastes for guidance. He helped us with some ideas for reservations, and we tried them to great success! He also introduced us to La Pedrera, where we watched a rooftop performance of jazz and flamenco, with the building the fanciful Gaudi designed.
