AC Hotel by Marriott Irla

Nuestra estancia en este lugar fue extremadamente frustrante e incómoda. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y la puerta del baño no es en realidad una puerta. Es un panel grande que se balancea y no hay bisagras que se cierren por completo. La razón principal por la que nunca regresaría es porque anuncian aire acondicionado en las habitaciones; sin embargo, al llegar, nos dijeron que lo apagaban durante los meses de invierno. Nos alojamos aquí a finales de marzo y hacía calor en la habitación, lo que hacía incómodo dormir por la noche. Su solución fue que abriéramos la ventana, pero no tienen puertas con mosquitero, por lo que los insectos entrarían volando. Además, dada la ubicación, habría mucho ruido con las ventanas abiertas. El representante de la recepción nos ofreció un pequeño ventilador, pero solo ayudó a circular el aire dentro de la habitación. Le recomendamos encarecidamente que llame con antelación si desea reservar aquí y pregunte sobre la situación del aire acondicionado o la calefacción.

El hotel está a 8-10 minutos a pie de la estación de metro y muy cerca de la Avenida Diagonal. La habitación es relativamente pequeña, las instalaciones un poco antiguas y las ventanas están mal insonorizadas.

Desafortunadamente, la falta de aire acondicionado en este hotel está mal anunciada. La habitación estaba a al menos 30 C cuando nos registramos, y todo lo que se podía hacer era "abrir una ventana" mientras las rejillas de ventilación del calentador continuaban expulsando aire caliente. El personal intentó ayudar pero tuvimos que trasladarnos a otro hotel.

Las habitaciones eran decepcionantes con el peor Internet que he visto en mi vida. El hotel tiene muchos restaurantes pequeños alrededor y muy cerca del transporte terrestre. Por el precio que pagué, podría haber buscado un hotel mejor.

AC Marriott Irla ofrece a sus huéspedes fácil acceso a una variedad de servicios y vida nocturna en Sant Gervasi. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero muy limpias. Para aquellos en habitaciones que dan a la calle, considere usar tapones para los oídos en caso de que tenga el sueño ligero, ya que hay mucha vida nocturna en el área (como en la mayor parte de la ciudad). El buffet de desayuno ofrecía a los huéspedes embutidos, quesos, cereales, yogures, panes, pasteles y platos calientes, incluidos los huevos. Se agradece el albornoz y las zapatillas de la habitación así como el hervidor de agua caliente. También hay una pequeña sala de fitness con máquinas cardiovasculares (bicicletas y cinta de correr) y pesas libres. También hay un baño de vapor y una ducha adjuntos al gimnasio. Tuve una estancia agradable y volvería.

My reviews are always honest, and accurate. This hotel is let down by the lack of Air Conditioning. Everything else was nothing short of absolutely excellent. The best staff ever! The breakfast was excellent and really the room was also very well appointed. I visited in March, it was warm but not very warm. Had it been very warm (like summer) the lack of AC would have been a huge issue. Why leave it out!

Fantastic hotel! Great location in a safe neighborhood near plenty of restaurants, close to public transportation, and a 10-15 minute walk to the gothic quarter through safe streets.

The staff (we worked with Eduardo) is fantastic - super friendly, helpful, and warm. Eduardo was very empathetic when we arrived after a terrible Vueling experience at the airport - we appreciated this so much. He also provided local tips, called a restaurant for us, and booked a taxi.

The rooms are very clean and have everything needed: fridge, water bottles, iron, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, coffee, etc. The view from our room was a cute street and the room was very quiet.

And all for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this spot and plan to come back the next time we are in Barcelona!

Al responderle que no me parecía adecuada su respuesta me ha despedido antes de comenzar a trabajar.
Me parece una vergüenza que se trate así a la gente.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was great. Nice clean room and great staff. I did see the previous reviews about the hot water and the outside noise but I didn’t experience any of that. The sink did take a little longer for the hot water to arrive but the shower worked well and no delay. There was no outside noise and Hotel was in a great location.

Nice hotel, no hot water in the bathroom sink and five solid minutes of running shower to get warm water. No tissue box but PACKAGED tissues with five in each Great climate control and a bazillion TV channels, great wifi. Front desk staff is.

¡Fantástico hotel! Excelente ubicación en un vecindario seguro cerca de muchos restaurantes, cerca del transporte público y a 10-15 minutos a pie del barrio gótico a través de calles seguras.

El personal (trabajamos con Eduardo) es fantástico: super amable, servicial y cálido. Eduardo fue muy empático cuando llegamos después de una terrible experiencia con Vueling en el aeropuerto, lo apreciamos mucho. También nos dio consejos locales, nos llamó a un restaurante y reservó un taxi.

Las habitaciones están muy limpias y tienen todo lo necesario: nevera, botellas de agua, plancha, secador de pelo, albornoces, zapatillas, café, etc. La vista desde nuestra habitación era una calle bonita y la habitación era muy tranquila.

Y todo por un precio razonable. ¡Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar y planeo volver la próxima vez que estemos en Barcelona!

Personally loved the location. It's not where all the tourist sites are, yet it still has a lot of life. Rooms are small and kind of humid that sheets stay damp. Else, was very comfy.

I've stayed in plenty of Hotels around the world by my experience with the staff here was incredible. From accommodating to an early check-in to being flexible to.a late check out! All of this with a smile. Great rooms. Good location.

Recientemente me alojé en este hotel y fue genial. Bonita habitación limpia y un gran personal. Vi las críticas anteriores sobre el agua caliente y el ruido exterior, pero no experimenté nada de eso. El fregadero tardó un poco más en llegar el agua caliente, pero la ducha funcionó bien y sin demora. No había ruido exterior y el hotel estaba en una excelente ubicación.

Bonito hotel, sin agua caliente en el lavabo del baño y cinco minutos completos de ducha para obtener agua tibia. No hay caja de pañuelos sino pañuelos EMPAQUETADOS con cinco en cada uno Excelente control de temperatura y un millón de canales de TV, excelente wifi. El personal de recepción es.

The hotel is in the perfect spot where walking everywhere is totally doable. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable of the area. Our room was perfect and had excellent AC for our entire trip. We had no issues at all with our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel

My room had no hot water in my 4th night. Staff commented that it was not no hot water, rather the water was not hot enough to my expectation. I had 3 nights of hot water, so I am pretty sure I know what hot water means. Hotel was not able to do anything unfortunately. AC Irla will go to bottom of my Bacelona hotel list for sure.

The hotel has no soundproofing so you get traffic noise all night. Impossible to sleep and I live on Main Street where I live so traffic does not bother me. It is obvious not a good area as leaving at 6 AM to catch train the counter agent had to open the doors with a button behind the desk. No way this should be a Marriott hotel as it was the worst hotel I have ever been in. I used to travel for 30+ weeks a year for many years. Find a better hotel is my suggestion to all.

Wife and sister inlaw had a pleasant stay. The service from the staff is a bit of a saving grace from it being okay to a good hotel.

No. Due to our Marriott status, they claimed we'd received an upgrade, but I can't imagine a smaller room. Ours was very small, with a bathroom only divided by a glass panel. If you love having your companion watching you use the toilet, this is the place for you! Great location, but nothing else to recommend this place.

Nice hotel with clean basic rooms, a small fitness center and Turkish sauna. Breakfast is offered in the morning and the nespresso machine is a bonus. The staff is realy nice and the neighborhood is cool. I wanted something outside of the hustle and bustle of La Rambla and this was perfect. Bars and restaurants nearby, walking distance to Gracia and peace and quiet. It felt like a good retreat to do touristy things and then come back to the hotel for a more local feel. Will certainly stay again. Look forward to it

Elegant, good equipped rooms (coffee machine even in standard rooms), modern hotel in a nice location. Worth it.

Bonito hotel y bien situado pero la Habitación; si bien era correcta en base a los estándares; en mi caso era especialmente pequeña y por la mañana desperté con un horrible olor a alcantarilla que no se podía uno quedaren la habitación.

Not as nice as AC Marriott few blocks away because rooms are very small for instance only one hook and no towel rack and no credit or extra points for skipping room service and found this out after few day's at ck out not ck in. Just to name a couple of things.

Love Marriott! The service is terrific. Pretty much everyone speaks English here. I received a few excellent suggestions about dinner restaurants in the area.

While the staff was super friendly, we had several issues. Upon entering the room, we noticed that the bathroom had several places of mold and was not very clean. The next evening while we were getting ready for bed, we realized why.water was pouring from the ceiling from the room above. The hotel did provide us with a new room, but moving was rather larger pain. Additionally, all the rooms are directly on a busy road and there are trash dumpsters right in front, which are dumped late at night / early morning. Thus, you hear substantial road noise. Finally, the door closers on the rooms are very "tight" causing the doors to slam. Thus, when people start getting up to leave in the morning.it is constant door slams. Not great if you are still trying to sleep. Thus, I can't recommend this hotel.

Love this place! The staff is very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for where to eat, to get around, time frames to get somewhere! Breakfast was always incredible, lots of options. Our first couple nights we had noisy neighbors waking us at 4: 30am.but after they left it was great sleeping!

La verdad no he estado nada bien, he pasado frío porque ya no tenían calefacción, habían cambiado a aire acondicionado. A mi parecer hoy en día no es nada difícil saber que iban a bajar las temperaturas, es cierto que me han dejado una manta, pero la habitación estaba helada.y para ducharte pues.en fin, pagar lo que se paga y pasar frío.no volveré y era la segunda vez en dos meses.

Nice hotel, a bit far from the main sites in the city but public transportation is very close. There is an Italian Restaurant around the corner, bread and pastry shops line the road, the tea shop is outstanding. El Cortez Ingles and Media Mart are a 5 minute wall. The staff is outstanding.

Schönes Hotel, mit bequemen Betten, netten und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern an der Rezeption und noch ausreichend zentral gelegen. Das Viertel selbst bietet viele Shoppingmöglichkeiten und auch Restaurants und der Bus ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht.

Small rooms. Can't regulate the temperature in the room so if you have tha fan on its like a sauna. If you close the fan you get no fresh air and can't breathe. Breakfast is a disaster cold bacon, cheese is dry, no scrambler eggs and boild eggs is like a stone.

The rooms are nice, staff is attentive and the breakfast is typical Spanish, which in my opinion is great. The location was good for me, only a few minutes away from the city center.

Buen hotel, algo escondido, habitaciones muy pequeñas y solo con AC frió o caliente, si el clima cambia o te congelas o te asas.su precio algo alto.

Very little that is positive can be shared about this hotel. Our first room had water damage, a sink that would not drain, and water coming up through the floor in the bathroom. The second room had mold in the shower and the air conditioning that barely worked which sucked when the heat is on full blast in the hallway causing the room to boil. The neighborhood gets loud at night with people leaving the bars. It was $10 euros minimum by cab to get to any of the sights. The practice of trying to upsell you coming and going really sucks. Breakfast is a joke so walk down the street instead to one of the cafes. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The wifi was completely unusable, often pages wouldn't even load.the bathroom walls are glass, and the lights of the bathroom illuminate both the bathroom and the entire bedroom area, making it hard to sleep if someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The breakfast was not worth 16$, it was some donuts, bagels and bread. On our last day there, the shower head burst out of nowhere, shooting water up over the shower door wall, making the shower unusable as no water was coming out of the normal part of the shower head when my wife was showering, leaving me unable to shower. When checking out we informed the front desk of the shower issue and were told, "the shower head probably just came loose, as it happens from time to time. "

Other than that the hotel staff was friendly and the location was convenient for our needs.

Hotel molto bello, comodo e ben collegato con il centro. Le stanze sono silenziose e spaziose e ben pulite. Ottima l'accoglienza del personale alla reception sempre attento e disponibile! Complimenti!

Hotel en la zona alta de Barcelona. Habitaciones normales, modernas. Bien comunicado. Personal muy disponible y limpieza excelente. Recomendado para viajes de negocio.
