Accommodation in Margalef On Sight

Lo recomiendo mucho, pasé una semana allí, el lugar está muy limpio, hay todo lo necesario y hay un gran ambiente. El anfitrión es muy amable, receptivo y servicial.

Qué lindo lugar para quedarse y descansar después de escalar. Jan, el propietario, conoce todos los riscos y cuándo y dónde estar para disfrutar de buenas condiciones. Hay muchos riscos al alcance de la mano. La casa en sí es cómoda con una bonita sala de estar (espacio compartido), una chimenea caliente y un balcón. ¡Hasta pronto, Jan!

Realmente nos gustó quedarnos aquí. Sin duda nos alojaremos aquí de nuevo cuando volvamos a Margalef.
Ventajas:
* El espacio habitable compartido es agradable: una acogedora chimenea, una cocina equipada y, por supuesto, la compañía de otros escaladores mentalizados.
* Camas cómodas: dormimos muy bien aquí.
*Muy cerca de la escalada.
* Jan está lleno de colorida historia y opiniones sobre la escalada y el área, lo que lo convierte en un excelente guía local.

El propietario es muy educado y muy abierto a compartir consejos para permitirle elegir la mejor opción para su día de escalada.

Alojamiento acojedor, te sientes como en casa, habitaciones con camas muy comodas. Cocina bien equipada. Ideal para escalar unos dias, un sitio tranquilo para descansar.

El alojamiento es muy acogedor y esta equipado con todo lo que puedas necesitar. Jan nos trató perfectamente y nos hizo sentir como en casa. Repetiremos!

Alojamiento muy acogedor. El propietario te hace sentir como en casa. La cocina y los 2 baños completos. Terraza para disfrutar de un buen desayuno con vistas. Parking fácil y cerca de la casa. El Jan es encantador y te puede aconsejar en sitios de interés será el mejor guía, además pude comprar la última edición de la guía de escalada de Margalef. Una buena experiencia lo recomiendo 100%. Tanto mi pareja como yo quedamos muy contentos con Margalef On Sight! El lugar es muy acogedor y cómodo tanto la habitación como las zonas comunes que están en otra planta. Está a pie de carretera y delante del parking, lo cual es súper cómodo cuando vienes cargado con la mochila después de escalar o con gran compra. El propietario Jan es muy amable, te explica todo muy bien y te aconseja sobre donde ir a escalar. Compramos la guia de escalada allí mismo. Margalef es uno de los mejores lugares del mundo para escalar. Repetiremos seguro!

The accomodation has four double bed rooms, two shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen, a shared dining area and a shared porch. Everything was very tidy and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking (microwave, stove, oven, plates, pans, pots, coffee machine.). The porch is great for having a beer and relaxing after the climbing day.
Jan is a very nice and attentive host. He knows the area well and gave us hints everyday which crag and routes to choose taking into consideration our preferences and the current weather.
We will be happy to stay with Jan again.

Jan is quite the nastiest host I have ever had the misfortune to meet. All the guests found him rude, unhelpful and quite aggressive. He's clearly in the wrong job.

Nice and clean apartment for a long and hard climbing day.
Owner can shorten your time by giving you nice advice on where and when to climb.
Keep it clean and you will have lot of fun

Calidad precio inmejorable! El propietario Jan, un apasionado como pocos y buen conocedor de la zona, sectores etc. La casa bien situada, Seguro repetiremos!

No soy de consumir mucho en las opiniones estas de Google, pero bueno, digamos que lo que he pagado y lo que he recibido está suficientemente compensado. Tema de sartenes y asi, igual un poco más renovadas ya podrían estar pero bueno. Soy una persona que con poco se conforma en ese sentido. El dueño, persona que todo escalador debería de conversar con él, sobre todo deportistas que dicen que escalan y les falta un poco de ética. Me ha gustado mucho escuchar las historias, creencias y pensamientos de él. Persona top para mi.

A warm, perfect little nest to stay at while exploring Catalunya's climbing spots. It's got all the basics you need and it makes meeting other climbers super easy. The owner Jan is such a genuine, caring host, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was available at all times for questions and advice. We're already planning on coming back to Margalef, and staying again at On Sight. Thank you again Jan!

A lovely place to stay, with a knowledgeable and kind host. Warm fire to keep you cosy in the evenings. Would highly recommend.

Nos 4j chez jan étaient parfaits. Son lieu est bien fait, on y est au chaud, il y a tout ce qu il faut dans la cuisine et les chambres sont sobres donc parfaites. L essentiel y est. Jan a une présence discrète et quand il prend un temps pour nous raconter sa passion de l escalade, c est un régal.merci de cet accueil, a bientôt dans le Vercors!

Lugar muy acogedor y perfecto para alojarse durante tu fin de semana de escalada el anfitrión muy bueno totalmente recomendable.

So, around one week we really enjoyed being guests in this Hostel. Right from the start we felt like home there. Jan, the owner of the Hostel always keep the place warm with his oven. Which gives the best feeling after climbing having a warm oven next to you. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking. Enough cutting knives, stove, freezer, more then just two coffemakers, etc. The beds were comfortable, so that we had a tight sleep. A huge balcony invites you for yogasessions, smoking cigarettes, or just enjoying the sun. Jan was always helpful and looked for keeping the Hostel clean. I liked the talks with him, he has a lot interesting stories to tell you. If I'm coming back to Margalef i would stay by Jan, for sure.

Great place to stay in Margalef. Comfortable, with a private bedroom. And shared kitchen and dining room. A good option for people who are travelling alone.

Un logement partagé vraiment très accueillant et idéalement situé pour découvrir la magnifique Sierre de Montsant et ses nombreuses voies d'escalade. Joan l'hôte du lieu est très sympathique et disponible. Idéal pour les amateurs d'escalade!

Amb una cuina ben equipada.
Una bona manera de conèixer Margalef, amb els bons consells d'en Jan Casas.

Som una colla de tres que vam fer nit a On Sight. Un hostal acollidor i amb un tracte proper:). L'estada ens va ser molt agradable, fàcil i ideal per gaudir de l'escalda. Des del nostre punt de vista, relació qualitat preu molt bona.

Very good stay, we were very well received. The house is clean and practical, and the terrace spacious for afternoons of rest. Jan's advice helped us to choose great areas.

Perfect place to stay in Margalef.

I think if you are focused on climbing and enjoying Margalef is an ideal place. It seems to me the best option between price and quality combination. You sleep very well, the kitchen is very well prepared, and the place is very cozy. In winter it is kept warm by the fireplace. You live with climbers without feeling too crowded. I made my reservation on short notice but Jan (the owner) always offered to help me to have a good experience.

I came alone and had a great experience, I was there for a long stay, and met very nice and friendly people. I was planning to climb my first 9a+ so I also wanted to have a good rest, and it seemed like the best option since I was in a couple of other places.

Jan is a great character, knows a lot about climbing in nearby places, and always offers good recommendations. He always tries to make the place good for everyone and always willing to help. He also cares about the place and all the guests I don't think it's a place to break rules and do whatever you want.

I stayed for quite some time and climbed my first 9a+, met great personalities that turned into friendships. If I go back I would not hesitate to stay there.enjoy the catalan experience
