Lamentable! Te intentas dar de baja y porque alguien no hace su trabajo te obligan a pagar todo el año porque dicen que es cláusula contractual. En cambio cuando remarcas que te has dado de baja, te extorsionan diciendo que si pagas el 65 % de la anualidad te dan de baja inmediata pero eso sí no puedes usar la Mútua en proporción a ese 65%. A pesar de recalcar la situación económica en la que te encuentras y avisas precisamente para evitar impagos. No tienen vergüenza ni en el hecho en sí ni en el trato ni el tono de la Sra Jennifer Fernández de administración.
Obviamente este hecho se procederá a denunciar ante el colegio de Médicos y ante la Mediadora oficial de mútuas.

Estafa pura. Fake insurance stays away. My lawyer recommends this insurance says that is cheap and reliable. However, when I really got sick, they refused to pay even how serious my health condition is, and a clear letter from the doctor about the problem and the need for treatment.

Their scam line is *no podemos autorizarlo por ser anterior a la contratación de la póliza*

Despues de la fusuon con Ame no te resuelven nada, ni hestiones ni autorizaciones, dejando al asegurado totalmente colgado, con un proceder absurdo encontra del que les paga.

He trucat dues vagades per parlar amb recepció i quan marco el número 1, que segons la locució és per parlar amb català, ja fa dues vagades que en diu "que no se puede transferir la llamada", Marco el 2 que és per castellà i sempre em contesten. Els hi he comentat i em diuen que no tenen notificació de que això passi. La propera vegada marcare el 3 que és amb anglès a veure si tinc més sort que el català.

I love AME! I had AME the first year I was in Spain. The next year, I switched to Sanitas, since I had heard so much about how great they were. But I was very disappointed. So this year, I switched back to AME and so far, couldn't be happier. It's cheaper than Sanitas, the doctors are excellent and the team is efficient (they respond to my emails very quickly with authorizations or whatever else). Highly recommend!

Una pena, había estado hace años con toda la familia (5) y muy bien, hoy he querido volver y me dicen que no hacen individuales, tengo 56 años, tendría que apuntarme con otra persona y son 74 eur. Cada uno. No entiendo porque no cuidan ni siquiera a sus exclientes. Me han dejado muy decepcionada.
Lo dejé por cuestiones económicas.

Borraron mi reseña anterior por algo será. Lo diré sin poner otras compañias. Pésimo seguro "barato" Pero inútil ocupaba un certificado médico en Oviedo y resulta que no cubre, solo en Barcelona. Ahora tengo un seguro a través de un Banco con una mejor aseguradora y esto al mismo precio.

I did a contract and they explained to me that renewing it would be very simple. At the end I couldn't renew my contract and of course they put it on me!

Seguro IDEAL para extranjeros. El seguro médico cumple con los requisitos de Extranjería. Me ha funcionado súper bien. Los médicos han sido muy buenos. He utilizado lo normal: ginecología, odontología, imagenología. La atención todas las veces ha sido excelente. Recomendado.

A fraudulent & dangerous company for your health: If you have a family or care about your health, stay away!

I bought this insurance February 2019, and as an expat not speaking Spanish yet - I was hoping for an english customer service.

AME told me, in person, that I would have an English customer service, and that I would be able to see ANY expert.

I was worried I could not go to Teknon, where I have previously gone to a doctor for yearly checks - and was told not to worry - I can go to ANY doctor and specialist with AME.

This has all proven to be a lie.

When I got brutally sick, AME had absolutely no assistance to help me.
I fainted, was vomits and could not get out of bed, and tried to call AME - without any luck.

NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONE

When I finally got through, I was told nobody on the phone spoke English.
Eventually, after days of trying to get through, they put me over the the "Travel Department" and I was told the following:

"We don't help people that are IN Spain, only outside Spain, so I dont know how I can help you"

This "professional service" then used a long time, just to try to figure out if I was a client or not.

Today I had another phonecall with them, since they called - 3 days after I desperately marked my need for help and dissatisfaction wit their service, I was told "the main office is closed, nobody speaks English that can help you - wait for Monday"

Tomorrow I have a meeting with AME directly, and I am not sure what actions I can take yet, towards what can only be described as a DANGEROUS and FRAUDULENT way of running a medical insurance company.

If you have a family or care about your health, stay away!

I hope tomorrow I can finally have my appointment booked with my normal doctor (Today they said I can't do that, because that ENTIRE hospital with specialist was not INCLUDED - so again - just a complete lie)
If not - I will demand my money back that I prepaid for an entire year, for a service I never received.

Imagine being sick for 9 days - and STILL - no help from AME!

Ame es una empresa de servicios de salud excelente y muy eficiente y con empatía en la atención con el paciente tanto en su oficina, como en los diferentes centros de salud.

The best in Barcelona. I have a contract with AME for more than 2 years as a student. Besides they have a wide list of clinics and doctors in Barcelona with a highest rates they do all the paper work VERY FAST.
Strongly recommend AME if you need a health insurance in Spain.

Llevo unos 15 años en la mutua y no hemos tenido jamás ningún problema, al revés siempre ha sido todo muy fácil y sin problemas.

Llevo muchisimos años en esta compañia, tiene algunas carencias comparado con otras, logicamente el precio de la cuota es inferior y siempre te atienden muy bien. Ninguna queja
