Amister Apartments

A veces ocurre que cuando uno hace una reserva x internet, sin otra referencia que la que escriben los usuarios de la web, termina sucediendo que lo que uno reservó no siempre está a la altura de la expectativa que se tenía o que prometían. Definitivamente no es el caso de Amister Apartments: el departamento que nos dieron estaba excelente, bien equipado, sumamente cómodo, ubicación inmejorable, y las veces que hemos requerido algún tipo de asistencia por parte de la administración hemos obtenido una respuesta inmediata, solícita y amable.
Todo lo expuesto respecto al departamento, contribuyó a que nuestra estadía en Barcelona haya sido excelente y nos haya dejado un recuerdo imborrable y precioso de esas dos semanas en que nuestro hogar familiar estuvo plantado allí.
¡Lo recomendamos 100/100 a todos aquellos que busquen un buen lugar en donde parar en Barcelona!

La ubicación es realmente buena y el alojamiento también es bueno. Una familia de 4 personas se alojó en una habitación para 5 personas, tenía 1 cama doble, 2 sofás cama y 1 cama supletoria, por lo que estuvimos cómodos y quedamos satisfechos con la limpieza.
Estaba ubicado en una calle con mucho tráfico, por lo que fue divertido mirar la calle desde el interior del alojamiento.

Sin embargo, tuve que registrarme tarde en la noche, así que envié un correo electrónico preguntando cómo hacer el registro, pero no hubo respuesta, luego envié mensajes a través del chat de Agoda, DM de Instagram, etc, pero no hubo respuesta. Al final logré llamarles vía whatsapp el día antes de mi estancia y me contactaron. Si no me hubiera puesto en contacto con ellos primero, no habría podido entrar a mi alojamiento y habría pasado la noche en la calle.

Si llega tarde, registre su número de teléfono en WhatsApp y asegúrese de contactarnos con anticipación.

Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable aquí. Nos sorprendió especialmente el servicio personalizado, que no esperábamos de un apartamento. La señora de recepción fue muy servicial y nos organizó un taxi. No fue fácil porque teníamos mucho equipaje, un bebé y un perro. El apartamento en sí tenía todo lo que necesitábamos. La ubicación en particular era fantástica, justo en La Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, las calles comerciales y la estación de metro.

Este alojamiento es de fácil acceso desde el aeropuerto y tiene muchos restaurantes cerca, para que puedas disfrutar del ambiente de Basilea.

Ubicación perfecta para visitar Barcelona, ​​a 5 minutos de Plaça Catalunya, apartamento muy limpio y bien equipado con todas las comodidades, muchas gracias a Ariadna y a la señora por su bienvenida.

Ubicación excepcional. Está a pocos minutos a pie de La Rambla. Alojamiento espacioso y confortable. Buena limpieza. Tiene cocina y nevera. Excelente calidad/precio.

Prácticamente volví ayer de Barcelona y debo decir que estoy satisfecho con su eficacia. Reservé a través de una agencia, una semana antes hablamos con la encargada para hacer el check in online y pagué la tasa turística, tras lo cual nos envió los códigos para para ingresar y para WiFi, y códigos para el depósito de equipaje, no solo eso, teníamos la posibilidad de dejar las maletas en su depósito incluso después del check out. El apartamento tenía todas las comodidades incluso la lavadora secadora y lavavajillas. También reservamos siempre con ellos el taxi tanto de ida como de vuelta al aeropuerto y he de decir que los conductores respetaron los tiempos pactados. Todo estaba limpio y en funcionamiento. En cuanto a la ubicación es perfecta porque está cerca de todos los principales monumentos ya 300m de la Rambla y hay muchas paradas de metro si quieres salir del centro, y los taxis pasan literalmente cada segundo. En definitiva, lo recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera reservar este tipo de estancia.

I have booked the smaller room for 4 people directly with the accomodation which saved us more than 100 euros. The reception is very kind, answering to every questions before our stay via email. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor (elevator available), check-in went seamless (fyi prepare some cash for cash deposit).
The room was spacious, two beds in the bedroom, and surprisingly comfortable sofa beds in the living room. The whole place is well-equipped, clean, towels are included. The location is perfect just a few steps from Pl. Catalunya and Rambla.
The only issue was the WiFi - it was super unreliable and slow, but upon check out it turned out that there was a dedicated router for our room, just we have not been advised about it.
Nevertheless, still it was an amazing stay and a perfect choice for our Barcelona visit, absolutely recommended!

We stayed here from December 19 to December 26,2021. Had we not pre-paid for the apartment in full, we would have certainly moved out.

We found a number of issues:

(1) Communication: the apartments are poorly managed. We never got the access code to enter the apartment building and didn't even know which room we were staying in after we had booked online. There is no receptionist on duty on weekends. We had to proactively call the number on the website, which no one answered. Then we called an emergency number, and finally found someone who gave us the correct information. This was very inconvenient. If this was a properly managed apartment (or AirBnB) someone should have immediately sent us the access code information after we paid online, in full.

(2) The Building: the apartments are located inside a very old building, which is mainly residential. The building feels tired, and not well maintained. The apartments themselves are on the "second floor" - which by North American standards feels more like the 4th floor. When we arrived the elevator was not working. And we had to drag our luggage all the way up, with no help (again, no receptionists working on the weekend).

(3) The Apartments: There were a number of issues with the actual apartment. There was a weird sewage smell that came from the washroom, and we had to close the washroom door all throughout the week. The Wifi was absolutely terrible. It made Zoom calls and even browsing the Internet difficult. The hot water turns cold after about 5 to 10 minutes of use, and it was often difficult for two people to take showers consecutively.

(4) Cleaning: be aware that there are hidden fees. The management will charge you extra to clean the room or to change towels.

(5) Photos online: the photos online make the apartments seem brighter and fancier than they actually are. When you actually get there, you realize that you are living in a old building that is not very well maintained.

Overall, very poor experience with these apartments. I would give it 1 out of 5.

Non certo una bella esperienza. Avevo prenotato con booking in un quartiere di Barcellona e mi hanno telefonato per darmi un altro indirizzo all'ultimo minuto. L'appartamento era più piccolo e brutto anche se in una zona molto centrale e comoda. Il bagno pessimo, senza bidè e col trituratore che ogni tanto si metteva rumorosamente in funzione. Voto 5

El apartamento por dentro es perfecto. Está nuevo y decorado con gusto. Está muy bien ubicado y dispone de todos los elementos básicos para pasar unos días en el mismo.

Por otro lado, destacar que tuvimos un contratiempo importante con algo relacionado de forma directa con el apartamento. Pero después de hablar con el personal que gestiona los apartamentos quedamos satisfechos con la solución. Principalmente por ese motivo doy 5 estrellas al apartamento. Porque los problemas o contratiempos pueden aparecer en cualquier momento, pero hay que saber responder y dar soluciones a los mismos.

Por supuesto que recomendaría este apartamento y seguramente volvamos en otra ocasión porque nos encanta la ciudad de Barcelona.

Appartement silencieux, spatieux, propre et moderne. Nous y avons. Séjourné 4 nuits avec nos deux enfants. Et on reviendra.

El apartamento bien, excepto la limpieza, k deja mucho k desear, a las fotos me remito.
Por otro lado se rompió el ascensor en viernes y hasta el lunes no fue posible el arreglo!
El edificio es antiguo con unas escaleras de cuatro tramos, hasta el 5° piso, un desastre, al borde del infarto, nos condicionó las vacaciones, mal muy mal, si viajas con gente mayor busca otra cosa, por k Pirlo visto suele ser habitual lo del ascensor

Seul le parking est un peu éloigné environ 15 minutes à pied mais on est au centre de la ville si on veut prendre le métro pour les déplacements sur place!

Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits avec nos deux enfants.
L'appartement est vraiment très bien situé.
Il est spacieux pour quatre, bien agencé, tout équipé.
Vraiment très bien.

Localización ideal! No se puede estar más céntrico! El apartamento tenía todo lo que uno puede precisar, me sentí muy segura con el tema coronavirus, todo muy limpio. La decoración es agradable, colchones súper cómodos, ducha estupenda. La atención de la directora fue impecable en todo momento! Súper recomendables!

We stayed at the Amister for 5 days. We never saw a caretaker or anybody at reception. Once you have paid, you receive a list with clear instructions on how to reach the flat. A front door code, a code for corridor to your flat and another code for the flat itself. You need to use this every time you enter, so keep it at hand. There is another code for a luggage store room which came in handy on our last day.

The flat was very clean and comfortable for 4 people. Beds were made with towels in the bathroom. There are blinds that fully close mechanically. The noise from the street is a vague buzz and did not bother us.

The kitchen has all the necessary appliances. The dishwasher is at the bottom of the oven (belief it or not).

You are also required to pay a cleaning deposit or a cleaner. If you clean yourself, you are suppose to receive the deposit back. The washing machine and hair dryer came in handy. There is also a safe/TV and microwave.

Things that lacked: the kitchen sink did not have a plug, we short one pillow on the one bed, the aircon cools to a min of 20 degrees, which I felt was not cold enough. The geyser has a maximum of 80 liters of water at a time and it takes 2 hours to refill and heat. If someone is smoking in the neighbouring flat you can smell it. There were not an equal amount of glasses and other dishes. The wifi works sporadically.

I felt that at least once the management could have given us fresh towels and toilet paper during our 5 night stay.

What's in the flat you have to deal with or supply yourself: toiletpaper, dishwashing soap.

The location of the flat is extremely central to Catalunya square, the La Ramblas, well branded clothes shops, the Harbour Area, Gothic court, HOHO busses, airport bus, taxi's and about 3 km walk from the Sagrada. We took a taxi from the main station (€12).

Right next door is a convenient store for milk, bread etc.

Top location. Clean and spacious fully equipped apartment. Got a free late 1 pm check out. Responded promptly and on questions on Whatapp. Would definitely recommend this appartment for a Barcelona city trip!
