BCN Metropol Language School

Enseñan bien, pero al final no dieron nada (documento), parecía que una buena persona habló con el director, ¡pero al final resultó que no le iba bien con los que allí estudian!

I totally recommend BCN Metropol to anyone who wants to enroll in a Spanish School. The professors transmit their passion for their language and are all very nice. I like their teaching skills.

I have studied for two years in this Spanish school and I’m very satisfied. When I arrived I only could say “Soy Sara and Hola y Adiós” and after two years I get to a C1 level. I learned a lot and improved my Spanish quickly. The classes system is great and the teaching staff are well-trained, friendly, responsible and dedicated. All the teachers are native and the location is perfect, is located only 100 meters from Passeig de Gracia. This is the cheapest Spanish school I found in Bareclona. They know how to teach the language, they’ve more tan 30 years experience. I would really recommend this Spanish academy.

Excelente, tudo perfeito, pelo seu baixo preço ouso dizer que seguramente são as escolas que mais oferecem por tão pouco, aulas de qualidade com professores nativos, muito bom!

Un ambiente buenísimo y profesores altamente cualificados. Ofrecen unos precios muy bajos que no he encontrado en ninguna otra escuela. La recomiendo por la calidad-precio, lo rápido que se aprende y la proximidad de los profesores.

I had high expectations from this school as their tutors are Cervantes qualified. However, as with most schools in Barcelona, it's all talk, talk, talk and nothing written nor corrected.

Watch out signing up as they charge 50 Euros for books that net cost at 20 Euros.

Here's the format for an evening class

7pm: Sit down and chat about the week

7.15-20: First exercise, normally always reciting the answers verbally, never corrected by the teacher.

8: 00: 10 minute break

8.10 onwards: Maybe a listening or a presentation [again all verbal]

8.50: Wind-down

I can safely say I didn't bother staying until the end of the course. I learned so few things, I was better off buying the AULA books and studying at home. The teaching focuses on speaking, rather than writing. This is important as it instructs the grammar one needs.

I've yet to find a decent school here in BCN. Sadly I've not come across any others.

Fue una experiencia muy agradable y divertida. Los profesores son muy disponibles y competentes, las classes son hechas con metodo y mucho corazón para que sea mas agradables por los estudiantes.

Excellent. I just finished my intensive course of Spanish at Metropol and I have to say that I'm really satisfied. It focused on both speaking and writing and I really improved my level of Spanish. The position of the school is also excellent as it's very close to Plaça de Catalunya, easily reachable from every part of the city and the towns surrounding Barcelona.
One special mention for the teacher of my course, Ana: she is very nice and very clear in every explanations.
I really recommend this course for both learning and improving Spanish.

Eccellente. Ho da poco finito un corso intensivo di spagnolo al Metropol e devo dire che mi sono trovato benissimo. Si focalizza sia sullo spagnolo scritto che su quello parlato e alla fine del corso il mio livello di spagnolo è decisamente migliorato. La posizione della scuola, poi, è ideale dato che è molto vicina a Piazza Catalunya ed quindi facilmente raggiungibile da qualsiasi punto della città e da tutta l'area metropolitana di Barcellona.
Un commento speciale per l'insegnante del mio corso, Ana: è stata un'insegnante molto simpatica, disponibile e molto chiara nelle spiegazioni.
Consiglio vivamente questo corso a chiunque abbia bisogno di imparare o semplicemente migliorare il proprio spagnolo.

Conozco al propietario de la escuela BCN METROPOL desde hace muchos año y es un tío muy profesional, serio y muy comprometido con los alumnos. Se nota que realmente le gusta lo que hace. Por cierto, esta escuela esta super céntrica.mejor imposible creo yo.

If you want to enter to the course it's needed to pay for course 130€, registration fee 30€ and book 39€. In my case I bought 1 book and after 2 weeks we started another book so I had to buy again. Teacher was jumping around on the topics, breaks sometimes took 20 min instead of 10.
