Bikram Yoga Barcelona

He hecho una primera y ultima sesion en este centro de yoga. Era una primera experiencia para mi y estoy súper decepcionada.
Lo primero de todo he encontrado una rigidez increible al nivel de instrucciones, tenía la sensación ser una nina en un colegio.
No hay espacio para poder hacer las posturas de manera cómoda. O tocaba la persona delante o detrás.
Un consejo, teneis que quitar una persona por linea como minimo, no se puede hacer una prestación así para este precio. 25euros la sesion!
Después de haber sudado un montón, con la botella vacía, lo MINIMO sería de proponer una fontena para poder rellenar con agua frescita. Pero NADA. Os podéis marear tranquilamente
Conclusión, una prestacion decepcionante de calidad-precio.
No recomendable, probar otro sitio!

Verdaderamente el estudio de Bikram Hot Yoga más cosmopolita y lujoso que he experimentado como profesor certificado de Bikram Yoga.:) Tuve el placer de tomar una clase de yoga caliente Bikram de 90 minutos a las 12: 00 p.m. Con una de sus maestras más nuevas (su nombre comenzaba con una "J"), que hablaba inglés con fluidez y ¡una auténtica joya! La clase se impartía en español, y el calor y la humedad eran perfectos. ¡Estudiantes amigables y energía súper positiva! Té complementario y ducha increíble para después de clase. ¡Muchas gracias y ahora volveré a Barcelona, ​​en gran parte debido a la existencia de este estudio! ;)

Centro de Bickram con excelente equipo profesional y disciplina de iniciación muy preparada. Lucia es una gran gurú se hace querer. Namaste

I was introduced to Hot Yoga through a friend on Cape Cod, MA, USA. It was terribly hot and unusual at the beginning. But I stuck with it and began to enjoy the heat, the cleansing of my body's pores, and the intense and meditative bodywork. When I moved to Barcelona I searched and found Bikram Yoga Barcelona and feel at home in Lucia's studio. A great studio with motivating teachers, day and evening classes and great people. Thank you Bikram Yoga Barcelona and Lucia & Team.

Estoy muy agradecida con Lucia por todo lo que brinda su escuela de yoga. Al realizar la práctica de Bikram Yoga, no solo es la mejoría física lo que uno nota, sino la conexión con una misma. Muchas gracias!

This 1star is for the name "Bikram" after watching the Netflix documentary. Rename your hot house to something else.

Centre molt agradable i ben adaptat al ioga amb calor. Las classes son molt bones i professionals. Molt recomanable!

Too often rude, at both locations. Spiritual superiority complex, and I’m sure my review will be attended in this manner as well, rather than addressing the business’s own issues with accountability and client relationships/empathy.

Edit in response to whoever responded. I appreciate your attempts to clean up your act but there is at least one guy who always responds shocked and astounded (and rudely) if I have any normal question. (I.e. “can I leave my mat in the studio hanging up next to the other students who leave them here? ”). To this and other simple questions he responds like I’m crazy and when laugh and tell him it’s nothing to freak out about and tell him he can just tell respond simply, he tells me I have a problem and tries to demand some kind of “conversation”. I know Bikram was abusive but the yoga practice (that actually stems from his teacher, from whom he stole it— you could change the name) does not have to be

Ioga intenso y exigente, y el calor de la sala todavía incrementa más la sensación de esfuerzo. Des de que practico este yoga mis dolores de espalda y contracturas por malas posturas en el trabajo han disminuido muchísimo, y ya sólo tengo que ir al fisio de forma muy esporádica. Los profesores son grandes profesionales que se preocupan por tí. Mi cuerpo no es nada flexible, pero con este ioga veo como voy aumentando amplitud de movimientos, y soy más flexible. Realmente es un práctica que te mantiene ágil y para mí ya se ha convertido en algo indispensable. Gracias!

Centro muy recomendable si quieres aprender y practicar de una forma correcta.

Estudio donde el respecto a la práctica y al diálogo se mantiene. Es un auténtico studio de Bikram yoga, con profesores formados directamente por Bikram.

My experience with the studio was bellissimo! I only had a few days in Barcelona and I thought I'd check out the bikram studio. I was very pleased with the front staff and absolutely loved Liliana's class. Although the class was in Spanish, I was still able to tune with the energy in the room. Every once in a while Liliana would state a few words in English for me to redirect my techniques. Gracias so making this experience so beautiful

Recepción es una pena para mi que no veo bien, que no aya una persona cualificada.sin contar al chico que esta casi siempre de pelo largo.

Limpieza, se debería de dar mas importancia, entre clase y clase.a ventilación, suelo y cristales.

DE todas maneras aunque no hay profesionalidad, en recepción.
El centro es sobresaliente y voy a seguir hasta que me den de baja ellos por decir lo que pienso.

I have taken over 3000 yoga classes in different countries and different languages than my own. The studio is clean a big plus. The facilities are on par for what I would expect in an older city and an older building. The staff was friendly and spoke English. The instruction was better than most bikram in that the teacher kept a good pace. I would take classes here again.

Con este BOOM que ha sufrido el Yoga en todo el mundo y en particular en barcelona, da gusto que aún haya una escuela de Bikram Yoga, la primera en Catalunya donde poder sentir el respeto a la práctica, profesionalidad y experiencia.

De los mejores lugares de Yoga en Barcelona. Llevo practicando varios años. Profesores excepcionales y el trato es muy bueno! Tanto si buscas iniciarte o darte caña si tienes experiencia. Es perfecto para bailarines como yo.los beneficios son increibles y lo sientes cada día que vas.

Wonderful experience, a perfect way to get to know your body. Really worthwhile to do a try out and start practicing Bikram Yoga! It really gives a boost to your body!

World class instructors! So helpful to English speaking people! English speeding people forget that Spanish is the first language here! When someone speeds Spanish to you it is to help not there obligation. Studio is super spacious and clean! I would recommend to anyone local or on holiday. It made my trip!

Terrible terrible place. Coming from a studio in California which I loved and after reading good reviews I still cannot believe how bad the place and treatment is.

My first time there I wasn't instructed where the bathroom or class room was so of course I had to ask. Then throughout the class the teachers all expect you to drink water when they want and not when you NEED to. Same goes for leaving the class if you can't be there cause you feel sick, you are told NOT to leave and if you plan to do so to not come to class.

People at this studio have to calm down. I understand this is your religion or something, but some of us are just here to get a workout and a stretch - not to be told to close my mouth and not drink water or leave if I want to. My health goes will always go before your beliefs, so if I feel like I need water or to leave the room I will do that when I please. It's supposed to be a stress free environment and I find myself more stressed here than anywhere else on my day. The staff must be reminded that we are the paying customers and that this IS NOT a mandatory class or a free class or am I being payed by the studio to take these classes.

Showers are open like a sex club so there is no privacy which in my case is important, so I end up having to go home drenched in sweat. Also it is the same class every single day which is quite ridiculous and boring. If someone had done their job right I would've had this information prior to paying but of course that wasn't the case. I'm only attending because I prepaid some classes but luckily only 10 of them. The flooring is not suitable or built for sweat. It's just plain hardwood floor and everyone ends up walking barefoot over everyone's sweat (gross and unsanitary) and possibly slipping if not careful.

Also very important and dangerous. One day I left the class early and the main door of the studio was locked with key and no way out. This is INSANITY. If there were to be an emergency and only one person has the keys or knows where they are, this could be a catastrophe. Still cannot believe they locked the studio. I will be putting a complaint in Ayuntamiento tomorrow as this is NOT LEGAL.

What else can I possibly say?
