Llegamos al sitio con gran expectativa pero fue una completa decepción, la persona que nos atendió, que supongo yo es el dueño, estaba borracho, preguntamos por una cata de buenos vinos, con más de 3 años, y el nos dijo que no podíamos acceder a esta opción ya que éramos turistas, sin embargo accedimos a quedarnos y probar, cuando llegó el vino ni siquiera nos explicaron que íbamos a beber y no nos dieron ni siquiera a probar la primera vez, sino que fueron sirviendo a todos, el señor golpeó los vasos super fuertes en la mesa de una manera muy ruda, luego de eso al momento de pedir la cuenta el dueño llegó borracho y dijo que serían 13 euros cuando fuimos a la caja nos dijeron que serán 30 euros, nos sorprendimos y no quisimos pagar y entonces luego dijeron: está bien entonces serán 15 euros.
Eso que quiere decir? El precio cambia según el consumidor?

No lo sé, solo sé que no volveré.

This is for the more serious wine lovers! As a serious enthusiast, I just had the one of the rare 10/10 tasting experiences in my life, with Jose who runs this place. One of the most delicate recommendations I had after my desire for the next glass, Jose not only guided me through this journey, he made me see the light of life if you know what I mean. Must stop and go in Bcn!

The pictures and lighting of the place are enhanced.the actual place is quite dark, disordered and full of dust more like a ghost house.the wine and food depicted is nowhere to be found.the people attending seem having no idea of what they are doing or how to sell wine.a first we thought they were random attendants but lately apparently they were actual managers of the place.i highly recommend ignoring the other positive comments.i went there driven by the many fake 5 stars comments and it is by a long stretch the worst place i have been to in barcelona.

Pues hace años que conozco esta bodega y lo mejor es ver como se han reinventado, aparte de poder comprar uno excelentes vinos pues ahora también se puede degustar.

I had a thoroughly pleasant evening here and really wish it was around the corner from where I live so that I could go weekly and explore more of the wines on offer.
I had walked, with my two youngish children and wife, from K + K Hotel and when I found it was keen to get sat down and stuck in.
One thing that I really liked was the fact that even though the gentleman who served me spoke very little English, with sign language, pointing at a bottle and kissing of the fingers to indicate how delicious the wine was, I was soon sitting down watching as my bottle was uncorked and I was being asked "cheese? ".
A juice for my son and daughter, vermouth for my wife and a bottle of red for myself and with the lighting just perfect for the mood, I took my first sip and didn't leave for about 2 hours.and I hope I didn't overstay my welcome.
The owner, whom I had seen on YouTube, was chatting quietly to guests at a nearby table, another couple nipped in for a glass or two of white wine and one or two other tables had a few people sipping away and the atmosphere was perfect for gentle chatter and the enjoyment of wine. Nothing was rushed, no-one hurried, staff taking good care of clients.
Nothing amazing happened but I just felt like I was welcome to sit there, drink my wine and chat with my family without ever feeling rushed and because of that, I shall, without question, visit again.

Wow. What an experience. Our son visiting several years ago, recommended it. We took the gold package, it was awesome. Jose owns the business, its 3rd generation family owned. He really knows his wines. An absolute must do in Barcelona. Fantastic. We love you Jose.

Delivery was delayed by 3 weeks, then the completely wrong product was delivered twice. 2 months later I still haven't received what I paid for and they no longer reply.

Nos regalaron una caja de vinos de más de 200€ y la caja que primero nos llegó era errónea y la entrega se hizo tres semanas después de la fecha prevista. Reclamamos y nos hicieron una segunda entrega y los vinos eran de menor valor de los compramos. Después de escribir varios emails, seguimos sin respuesta, una pena porque las opiniones eran muy prometedoras y nos encanta un buen vino.

Spectacular wine tasting with the incredible owner as the host. Must do the ultimate tasting experience- worth it! Great wines, charcuterie board, and wine education. We have been to Napa, Santa Barbara, etc.but this was very personal, fun and entertaining due to the owner’s passion and zeal for an amazing wine experience. A+

Really nice place. Great selection of wines and tapas. The staff are super friendly and let you sample a wine before ordering a glass or bottle.

Came here with my partner and we had a really great and fun experience doing a wine tasting evening. The wine and food were superb, and we learnt a lot. Really great staff and attentive. Look forward to visiting again.

Muy decepcionado. Pensaba que era una bodega auténtica con solera y me encuentro con un local sin encanto al frente del cual hay una gran parte de chicas y chicos que apenas hablan castellano y menos aún catalán. Muy enfocado a turistas. No tienen ni idea de aconsejar sobre vinos. Además sus precios son caros. Como un 30% por encima del precio normal de mercado.

Absolutely delicious. Never liked Spanish olives but these were divine. Savory and salty. The sardines were delicious loved the vinegar taste it wasn't overpowering it was subtle which was real nice.

We had an exceptionally good time here. Jose opened some very thoughtfully chosen wines that expressed the best of Spanish whites. All wines were kept with Coravins. Very serious wine bar for people learning about Spanish wines and those that want to learn more. Well worth a detour.

I am French but not really into wine However this place has really many different flavours and winery types which made me appreciating each and every glass. Very nice service, well located in picturesque barrio El Born. I d recommend it.

The man in charge was openly dismissive of our presence. He was rushing while answering our questions. We went there out of a recommendation, we wanted to schedule a tasting but we thought better after the service provided. We tried several times with nice manner to start a conversation with him about wines so he could helps us, as we are not very experienced, but he honestly acted like he couldn't care less. We won't be coming back.

La ubicación de la tienda es perfecto, muy accesible. En cuanto al interior y su decorado crea una perfecta atmósfera que invita a ingresar y beber. Lo negativo es la atención: las botellas no tienen precio por lo cual hay que indagar al personal sobre el mismo que debe recurrir al ordenador o ellos dicen que “recuerdan” el precio lo que hace sospechar de arbitrariedad. Otro aspecto negativo es que al preguntar por determinado producto oneroso te aclaran “es muy caro” como si ellos conocieran y decidieran por mi bolsillo. También al preguntar por determinadas uvas o varietales te dicen que eso no importa, o sea que no solo deciden por mi bolsillo si no por mi paladar. En definitiva necesitan contratar a alguien que entienda y sepa tratar al cliente con mayor profesionalismo y entereza.

Cosy place with a good selection of Spanish wines. Nice to sit down with some simple local food like ham and cheese. Friendly service, and I will for sure come back later when I am in the area.

We had an amazing experience at the Bodega! The wines are delicious, diverse and we learn a lot about Spanish wine culture. Everybody working there is passionnante and very nice (and fun:) ). I heartily recommend the Bodega Maestrazgo if you wanna have an amazing wine experience in the best conditions possible.

Un lugar bonito y agradable para tomar algo. Los precios por copa son demasiado altos, precios entre 4 y 5€ por copa. El cuarto de baño es un espacio que deberían mejorar.

Extremely helpful in picking out a selection of wines with understanding and knowledge staff (also English speaking was a plus.) They even bubble wrapped my wines togo for safe shipment home.

A great bodega, a real gem. Wonderful wines, and they were described to perfection by Paulina, who was particularly helpful in selecting wines to our taste. The local Cruor priorat was exceptional.

Awesome Boedga! We had a wine tasting here and the staff was amazing and very informational. We learned a lot about the history of the place and different wines. We had tons of cheese and meat as well. The pig that was fed only acorns it's entire life was SO GOOD! The highlight of the food options.
