Realizamos una actividad de empresa en Born to cook y hemos quedado encantados con la experiencia. El espacio es espectacular y la chef, Nuria, fabulosa. Además de dominar el inglés es muy clara en sus explicaciones y tiene mucho sentido del humor. Comida y vino deliciosos. 100% recomendable

Contratamos a Born to Cook para dos celebraciones familiares cuando estuvimos en Barcelona.
¡Prepararon dos comidas diferentes y ambas estaban deliciosas! El Chef vino a la Villa donde nos alojábamos para preparar la comida y ¡no podrían haber sido más amables!

Es un sitio genial. Por segundo año celebramos allí una fiesta corporativa de Navidad. Acogedor a su manera, comida muy sabrosa e inusual, combinaciones de olores y sabores. El personal es atento, sonriente, pero sin ser entrometido. Me gustó todo al respecto.

El dueño amenaza de golpear al jefe de la empresa con la que vinimos y echarnos a la calle por unos puntos de un juego de trivia. Se le pide disculpas por la situación y sigue constantemente amedren

Estuvimos haciendo una actividad de empresa en sus instalaciones y todo fue rodado.

Desde la primera etapa donde nos informaron de todo, hasta el dia de la actividad fue todo perfecto.

Muchas gracias a Marta, Katjá, Patricia y todo el equipo por el super evento paellero.

Fuimos a un evento de empresa y la verdad es que todo fue increíble, desde la atención comercial como la dinámica de las chefs, todo fue de 10. Repetiremos sin lugar a dudas!

Una de las mejores experiencias que puedes hacer en Barcelona, ​​tanto si vienes como turista, para un evento de empresa o si ya vives aquí y quieres ir con tus amigos.

He ido 2 veces y ya estoy pensando cuando volveré.
La experiencia culinaria es muy auténtica, tanto la comida como el ambiente en el lugar son 10/10. La guía del cocinero que ha preparado todo hace que sea muy fácil y divertido ser parte del evento, por lo que todavía tienes tiempo para hablar y beber vino durante el evento.

Gracias a Katja por hacer que reservar y organizar fuera muy fácil y a Nuria por ser una fantástica cocinera y anfitriona del evento ️

La atención de Nuria y Marisa un 10/10, la actividad genial, adaptaron las recetas a nuestras necesidades alimentarias y se disfrutó toda la actividad de principio a fin, con un ambientazo y muchísimas risas. Mil gracias por todo, nos vemos pronto!

Generalmente como Gastronomico que soy he de reconocer que somos pocos preparados para tratar un negocio empresarial… no todos claro.
Llevo casi 10 días esperando presupuesto de esta empresa para un evento, mails, (sin precios y a la espera de que los jefes decidan la tarifa, textual), llamadas no contestadas…. Etc etc
Hoy recibo una llamada de un señor muy altanero…
Preguntando que quiero…. Le comento que envíe varios mails y que no tenia ni precio.
Me responde que va según si a ellos les sirve….
le explico todo y me dice
No me interesa y me corta.
Te voy a recomendar un curso de educación y otro de atención al cliente.
Bastante chulo el hombre este.

Fuimos a Born to Cook para un evento de creación de equipos corporativos con alrededor de 30. El personal hizo un excelente trabajo al recibirnos y crear un gran ambiente. Preparamos tres paellas diferentes y pasamos una velada maravillosa. Definitivamente una experiencia memorable y algo que recomendaría hacer.

Going to cook in Barcelona may have been the best experience of our whole Spain vacation!

What a great way to spend time with the family. We were treated to some delicious appetizers and explanations of how to distinguish some of the best food in Spain from some imitations. Some of the foods that we have tried previously while in Spain, we thought we didn’t like but here we learned the difference between the lower quality and higher quality and learn to appreciate it. Everything was delicious!

Our chef/teacher was wonderful, and we did all the work under her careful guidance. We made paella and some tapas, and even a delicious dessert! Then we all sat down together to share a meal. Really wonderful! Can’t say enough good things about this place in this experience. Our family didn’t agree completely on very many things, but we all agreed that this was the best part of Spain and the best of Barcelona.

Escape room original, entretenido y acabas comiendo! Manuel fue el chico que nos guió todo el rato, un placer! Volveremos cuando cambien la temática seguro! Super experiencia

Molt bona experiència per fer amb amics o familiars. El tracte de la Núria cap a nosaltres va ser excel·lent. Molt recomanable!

Vam celebrar un aniversari sorpresa, vuit amigues. Va sortir rodó. Molt divertit i distès. Núria va ser molt amable i atenta en tot moment. Vam riure molt. Una experiéncia diferent i divertida. I el tracte amb Marta també fantàstic, per organitzar i contactar.

Només entrar, el local ja augurava que xalaríem i així ha estat. Enigmes enginyosos a resoldre i el tracte agradable i acollidor de la Núria, gràcies Núria! Ens hem divertit molt i hem rigut… taaaaant. Una experiència molt recomanable.

Me organizaron mi 29 cumpleaños mis amigos en este espacio y me pareció espectacular! Manu nos atendió de maravilla y logró convertir nuestra paella en una autentica delicia mientras nos lo pasábamos en grande resolviendo algunos enigmas tipo "Escape Room". Hemos hecho muchas actividades a lo largo de los años pero esta sin duda ha sido la mejor. Lo recomiendo 100% y hago especial mención a Manu que hizo de esta experiencia, una todavía más top.

Una experiència fantàstica, una manera ideal de celebrar un aniversari o fer una activitat diferent amb els teus amics/gues. Vam ser 12 persones i ens van organitzar en dos equips de 6. Va ser molt divertit seguir les instruccions i les diferents dinàmiques per aconseguir els ingredients al mateix temps que competiem amb l'altre grup! La Núria fantàstica, va acompanyar el joc en tot moment i vam sentir que malgrat nosaltres anavem descobrint el que passava poc a poc, ella ho tenia tot controlat i estava molt pendent de tots els equips!

Hem anat a fer el dinar d'empresa, vam fer un taller de cuina en el qual ens ho vam passar magnificament bé, l'entorn espectacular i el personal super professional.

Una experiència fantàstica! Hem celebrat un cumpleanys i ho hem passat molt bé: el escaperoom és molt més entretingut i enginyós del què inicialment esperàvem i a més a més, hem après a cuinar una bona paella.
En Manu (el xef) és un artista, molt simpàtic i professional. 100% recomanable

Les contratamos para un team building y llegaron tarde. En lugar de disculparse nos dijeron qué si no nos parecía bien, que anulasemos el evento, teniendo a los clientes a punto de llegar y todo organizado.
Luego nos hablaron mal. Muy desagradable. No me he encontrado con tan poca capacidad de asumir errores y tan mala educación en toda mi vida profesional.
He llamado para darles la oportunidad de arreglar algo pero no quieren asumir nada.
Un cliente que te contrata y te paga por adelantado no se merece este trato tan poco profesional. Uno de los dueños es impulsivo y se mostró prepotente y la otra persona no quiere asumir que a los clientes no se les trata así.
Las diferencias o malos entendidos se deben resolver con empatía, educación y asertividad.
Se demuestra cómo es una empresa en momentos así. Y no se puede confiar
Si todo va bien no se sabrá, pero si hay algún error por su parte, no lo aceptarán y se pondrán a la defensiva.
Su postura es que en los eventos siempre pueden salir cosas mal y que no pasa nada.

Pésimo trato y local sucio con comida en mal estado. Fui a hacer un teambuilding y el dueño del local llegó 45 minutos tarde, nos dijo que si queríamos jugar a cocinitas fuéramos a otro lugar, que a él nuestro dinero no le hacía falta, ya que si llegaba tarde era porque venía de un menú degustación muy caro. Humilló a la cocinera del teambuiding y trató mal a su equipo. Deleznable.

Absolutely fantastic! I´ve had the pleasure to experience Born to Cook in different occasions and its been always a treat - the people, the food, the place. Simply perfect combination! Can´t recommend it enough - a must!

El dueño va de chulo y sobrado espero que las almejas en mal estado que tiene sueltas en el local y la falta de respeto le envíen una buena inspección

Tuvimos un evento, alquilando el local Born to cook.
La experiencia fue horrible, el dueño llego 1h tarde y nos insulto descaradamente al llegar, diciendo que nos fuéramos a otro sitio a jugar.
También nos comenta que nuestro evento le da igual porque el va sobrado de trabajo.
Una vez nos abre vemos los hornos sucios, el local por limpiar y mil cosas desordenadas. (no podíamos empezar el evento en esas condiciones)

Todo esto con malas palabras y mala educación.
En todo momento nosotros pagamos lo que nos habían dicho y respetamos las normas del local.

No se puede tratar así a un cliente.

I had high expectations at the outset and they were exceeded. Alex is an expert and friendly chef, creating a classical Spanish menu for us to have fun with. The 14th century building made for an unbelievable backdrop to a modern kitchen experience. Born to Cook delivers - a must if you love cooking.

Our Barcelona trip was great! And the Born to Cook experience made it even better! It was such a great experience! Starting from the food market to the cooking. The food was all so amazing and Alex was such a great host! Best Barcelona Experience hands down!

Highly recommend taking a class with Alex. He took my friends and me around the market to pick out our ingredients. Then we headed to the kitchen for a private class where we made a very delicious paella. Best part of our trip.

Amazing Experience! You get to learn about the culture, food, and preparation for Spaniard cuisine. We were taken on a market tour to pick up our fresh produce before we started cooking. Alex explained how to pick fresh fish and produce. Alex was very personable and a great chef! Definitely recommend this experience!

This was the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. Alex is highly skilled and such an enjoyable person to spend a few hours with. If you’re in Barcelona, you cannot miss this opportunity!

Customers should proceed with caution, especially if they need to cancel. (covid crisis) : After several requests for reimbursement, I still haven't had any response from this company. I find it very disappointing and unprofessional.

A great way of spending an evening with friends or colleagues. The guys are helpful, the food on the menu is tasty and the location is nice.

We do lots of international cooking classes, and they're often small and in private homes (which can be awesome or not). This is the opposite - professionally run, and wow, are they doing it right. Beautiful corner space in the old part of town. Retrofitted with with floor to ceiling windows - people are looking in longingly during the class, even poking their head in the door to ask "how can we book this? " Lots of space and modern Siemens kitchen. The chef was there before us, prepping things, and greeted us with wine and snacks, which continued throughout. She was an experienced former restaurant cook who decided to practice her craft in nicer surroundings and while making friends. Lots of space for everyone to work and also to make it easier to see and learn. There was even a second employee discreetly running around to keep it clean and organized. As is typical, we cooked a complete meal, including paella, and ate it afterward. Also worth noting is that they take customer service seriously. There was a tech issue and we thought we had a class on a day when nothing was scheduled. They contacted us the night before, and since it was our last day in town, they called in the chef to hold the class anyway!

Excelentes cursos para regalar, muy recomendable el de pasta que realiza Daniella, una chica muy profesional y con mucha pasión.

Fantástico plan! Hicimos un taller de arroces mediterráneos con un grupo internacional de 50 personas. Quedaron impresionados con el local, el trato recibido, la organización, la gastronomía y los fantásticos anfitriones que hablaban además un inglés perfecto. Un plan perfecto.

Great entertainment in making our meal. Very accommodating for vegans. And picky eaters (me). Downside, long time on your feet - market visit and the cooking area. But all the ups far out weigh that one item. Great double cooked fries.

La puntuación negativa se debe a la poca consideración que tiene el local por los vecinos del barrio. Se os ha escrito de muy buenas maneras en varias ocasiones para que controléis el volumen de vuestros clientes cuando salen a las tantas de los eventos y cursos que se organizan y no hay manera. No es normal que un martes laborable tengamos que estar varios bloques demandando silencio a altas horas de la noche y madrugada.

Had a great gastronomy cooking class on June 21. Took my wife and 2 kids and the instructor kept the whole family engaged and entertained. Plus, the class was educational and the food was tasty. I would highly recommend.

Great learning experience on how to cook paella, gazpacho, starters and Catalan cream desert. Included a market tour with tastings of signature Spanish foods. Small group of students and a very knowledgeable chef. A beautiful kitchen and a great experience.

My husband, niece and I took the class with Uriol who took us to the market and cooked with us all afternoon. The entire experience was incredible! The market and what we got to taste there were delicious, all the meals we prepared were divine, the atmosphere of the day great and friendly. Uriol is a great chef and explains things very well. We finally know what is a real Paella and I have never tasted prawns and langoustines cooked to the perfection like this. You will have a real hands on experience. It is expensive but it is totally worth it plus you get to drink as much as you want Cava, wine or anything else. Just go! Thanks again Uriol and Evelyn for your help with the booking!

We had a great experience at our cooking class here. The space is beautiful, food is delicious, and the staff was great with our four year old. Highly recommended!

We had a cooking & dinner company event here and we had a really nice time together!

As we were quite a lot of people, and the place is quite big, we split up into 4 different teams and each of us would cook a different type of Paella and then we would taste all 4 and vote for the best one!

We also made Crema Catalana for dessert and had an unlimited supply of really nice red and white wines.

The staff is super friendly and nice and will try to teach you how to cook decent food and finish it themselves if you get too drunk, so the only thing you need to worry about yourself is not chopping off your (or somebody else's) finger if you are slicing stuff while drinking!

This was the second time I did a cooking activity like this one (the other one was at Cook&Taste) and both of them were amazing. I'm really looking forward to the next one and I would advise anyone to go and try it!
