Casa del Mediterraneo

Fui dos días en navidad, y fue una de las mejores decisiones que tomamos mi familia y yo. El hombre que lo lleva es súper cercano y familiar, te sientes como en casa de un amigo, súper recomendado y el lugar divino. Si tenéis la oportunidad id.

Me gustaría mencionar el estado de la habitación. Al entrar, inmediatamente noté un fuerte olor a humedad. Había manchas notables en el piso y las ventanas estaban cubiertas de polvo y mugre. Las sábanas y toallas de la cama parecían sucias con manchas y daños evidentes. Esta condición me hizo sentir muy incómodo y antihigiénico.

Me he alojado probablemente en más de 100 hoteles, Airbnbs y otros alojamientos en este momento de mi vida, y nunca olvidaré a Carlos y su increíble hogar lejos del hogar. Tiene la verdadera alma de un anfitrión, es increíblemente cálido y es un verdadero placer conocerlo.

¡Y eso ni siquiera habla de las habitaciones en sí todavía! Están en un edificio histórico, con un ascensor retro (con todas sus peculiaridades), y las habitaciones son limpias y espaciosas. Los detalles de las vidrieras y los azulejos son absolutamente hermosos y realmente retroceden en el tiempo. Bravo, Carlos. Les deseo mucho éxito y espero reencontrarnos algún día cuando regrese a Barcelona.

Agradable BB. Carlos fue increíble y muy amable. Nos sentimos muy bienvenidos. Nos dio los mejores consejos sobre dónde ir para que pudiéramos aprovechar al máximo nuestro viaje de fin de semana en Barcelona.
La habitación estaba limpia, el baño también estaba limpio. Incluso la cama era agradable.

Gran ventaja: la ubicación era perfecta, ¡esto y Carlos fueron las cosas más positivas de nuestra estadía!
Definitivamente regresaremos a Casa Del Mediterreneo cuando tengamos la oportunidad. ¡Carlos, esperamos verte pronto!

Un lugar agradable cerca del centro de la ciudad. Muchos lugares turísticos están a poca distancia andando del hotel. Carlos (el propietario) es un tipo muy servicial y agradable. Él tiene muy buenas recomendaciones para comida y lugares locales. Muy recomendable

Han pasado 97 días desde que Carlos Forja de Casa del Mediterráneo canceló mi reserva y todavía no he recibido un reembolso. ¡Este hombre es un ladrón! Carlos, sabes que no has transferido el dinero. Si lo hubieras hecho, ya lo habría tenido. ¡Deja de mentir! Seguiré poniéndome en contacto con el servicio de atención al cliente de Booking hasta que tenga lo que es mío por derecho.

Great stay in a historic building in a vibrant area. No front desk for check in; you may have to call when you arrive.

Me ha quedado muy grato recuerdo del lugar, tiene un encanto especial. Gracias Carlos, Agus por su simpatía y ser tan atentos.

It's a remarkable hotel. Beside the rooms with the impressive high and colourful roof, there are rooms for common use like kitchen with free coffee or kind of a living room with some couches to chill in the morning with your coffee and make plans for the day. Also we got some good recommendations for restaurants and typical catalan food, we tried some and were quite happy with that.

Viajar no es solo visitar una ciudad y sus monumentos, para mí implica una experiencia en la que el lugar donde te alojas y las personas que lo dirigen pueden aportar y mejorar las sensaciones bellas del viaje. En Casa del Mediterraneo habitas en un trocito de historia de la arquitectura modernista plasmada en un interesante edificio rehabilitado con gusto y cuidado de los detalles. Carlos y Marco, son la amabilidad y el buen hacer personificados. Gracias por hacerme sentir como en casa.

We've had a lovely time while staying at Casa del Mediterraneo. Juan and Carlos are great hosts, very accomodating and provided useful tips on how to explore the city.

Limpio, servicial personal, tranquilo. Muy bien decorado y respetando el modernismo catalán en esta gran finca del ensanche barcelonés. Totalmente recomendable. Relación calidad precio magnífico.

Me and my partner have a lot of nice things to say about our stay in Casa del Mediterraneo.

Juan and Carlos are very amazing hosts that are genuinely accommodating. It is a sort of like a hostel arrangement with three always maintained lavabos/bathroom. If you want some privacy and you dont want to engage in conversations with other guests, dont worry - in my 4 days of stay there I havent seen other guests because there are plenty of bathrooms lol.

Juan will show you around first thing when you get there and he will also show you how to use the printer. He comes to maintain the place everyday. If you get lucky you’ll meet his beautiful dog called Ella.

The rooms are massive. The whole place smells like flowers. Theres a lovely chandelier ish ceiling fan in all the rooms very decorative - Very spanish bayside style ish with paintings and sea shells. The view from the balcony is nice in every room - theres an aircon/heater, power sockets beside the bed, a table and a nice open cabinet to hang your clothes - and you still have enough space to do the chacha or whatever cause its massive.

The place is, wait for it, at the heart of Passieg de Gracia which is the main road of the city. Absolutely a lot shops left and right. If you are into biking, theres a whole street of bikes for rent (company is called Bicing) literally just below our balcony. Youd notice that you wont really use public transport that often versus just walking or riding a bicycle. (There are a bike lanes connecting all parts of the nucleus of the city)

Charming, beautifully restored, art nouveau appartment and very friendly place to stay. You feel welcomed and lots of helpful advice is offered. A refreshing change from a hotel.

Es como un piso compartido. Son muy amables para recibirte, es cierto, pero al final estás en una habitación sin baño propio ni televisión y ni siquiera una silla y una mesa para trabajar, como tendrías en cualquier hotel. Además, tienes que soportar los portazos del resto de inquilinos, que si te toca al lado de la puerta de acceso, como en mi caso, se hace imposible dormir una mañana de domingo después de las 8. Se agradecería al menos un cartel para no dar portazos.

La casa del Mediterraneo est un endroit unique. Carlos, aidé de Juan, nous ont reçus avec professionalisme et chaleur. Tout était impeccable: le confort, la propreté et les nombreux conseils touristiques.

I like the management in here, nobody bothers you cofee on discretions 3 bathrooms which are very clean and of course the vitralium dinning room full of architectute books!

This turned out to be more of a hostel than the hotel I imagined from the website but it was actually fine. The historic building was Art Nouveau style and all facilities scrupulously clean. The beds were actually super comfortable too. The owner was very accommodating. The only annoyance was parking, it took me a while to find a garage. Driving in the city is not great, the lanes seemed really narrow to me.
