Excelente ubicación, muy cerca de la Sagrada Familla y a 20 minutos andando de Plaza Catalunya. Metro a 5 minutos. Está situado en un edificio antiguo pero las habitaciones son modernas y confortables. El único defecto es la ducha que no tiene cortina pero por lo demás nada que decir. Personal amable y servicial, guardaron nuestras maletas hasta las 8 pm a pesar de que habíamos hecho el check out por la mañana. Agua, té caliente y galletas siempre disponibles. Muy recomendable

Recomiendo ampliamente esta propiedad, hay todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas.

Ubicación céntrica pero tranquila. Servicio cortés, profesional y considerado. Mantener la limpieza y el orden. En la habitación también nos esperaban chocolate y una botella de agua. Si vienes a Barcelona por viaje turístico o de negocios, si no tienes muchas expectativas sobre el hotel, es un ascensor tranquilo, no demasiado caro, limpio, muy bonito, muy cerca de las calles principales de la ciudad, donde Se puede desayunar con un pago extra.

Un b&b con amor. Esto lo notas en todo. Limpio, pequeños detalles agradables y personal amable. Consejo: reserva una habitación con terraza.

Disfrutamos de nuestra estadía de 2 noches en Casa Mathilda, ubicada en el área del Eixample de Barcelona, ​​cerca de Diagonal y otros lugares de interés populares.

Teníamos una habitación interior que era pequeña, pero suficiente para nuestras necesidades. Sin embargo, lo que más nos molestó fue que había una escuela cerca con actividades de verano y voces de niños ruidosas que acechaban todo el día, interrumpiendo nuestro descanso y sueño durante el día mientras volvíamos al hotel a descansar.

Hay muchos buenos restaurantes de tapas cerca y una excelente panadería a la vuelta de la esquina para desayunar.

Gran cama y desayuno con habitaciones cómodas y un personal amable. Está en una excelente ubicación para estar lejos de las grandes multitudes en La Rambla y el Barrio Gótico, pero está ubicado en el centro, por lo que es fácil caminar para ir a la zona alta o al centro. También hay varios lugares de interés en el vecindario, además de excelentes restaurantes.

Excelente ubicación. Habitación limpia y cómoda. Personal encantador y servicial que guardó nuestras maletas durante varios días e hizo otros arreglos especiales para nosotros cuando nuestros planes de viaje se vieron interrumpidos. Incluso le dio a mi marido un cargador de viaje para que lo usara. Me alojaría de nuevo, ¡no puedo recomendarlos lo suficiente!

Habitación interior, limpia, de tamaño justo para dos, bien ubicada para ver Barcelona y persona de recepción agradable y atenta. Aunque no elegimos desayuno nos ofrecieron cafetera y tetera. Quizás el suelo de la habitación necesitaba un cambio por el uso.

Best booking we've ever made. The beds were better than what we have at home, incredible kind people and the breakfast was really good! You can't pick up a better place, right in the center of Barcelona!

Quedamos fascinados con Casa Mathilda. El hotel es bellísimo y el trato es mejor. Patricia y Sofia nos atendieron con mucho cariño y paciencia. El día que regresemos a Barcelona nos volveremos a quedar aquí.

Very clean room. We feel safe. Close to modern laundromat (just 2 blocks away on the same street) and not too far from Diagonal tram station, so easy to go anywhere. Great service. Breakfast is ok, nice and it is convenience when we don't have to go out just for breakfast.

Lovely place all in all. But, none of the other reviews mention one important fact: that there is a school in the same neighbourhood as the hotel and that you from the lovely courtyard and from your room (at least our room, one of the cheaper ones) can hear children talking, laughing and playing from 08.00 AM in the morning to 07.00 PM in the evening. This was true for all working days during our stay. On the holidays it was soooo quiet and nice. Other than this, I find this a gem of a small hotel in Barcelona. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast. We never heard a sound from either other guests or from the breakfast being served. But from the school kids, yes, we did hear from them.:) Our room was "interior facing" which meant a window with frosted glass facing like an outdoor shaft. So it wasn't much of a window in all honesty. But the room itself was lovely with a comfy bed and nice bathroom.

Absolutely 5 stars! The room was great and clean, had everything we needed. The staff was perfect! Patricia was very very nice and helpful! She welcomed us on our arrival, showed everything and suggested places around. Always smiling and amazing attitude!
The breakfast was good. We left early in the morning, and they had put our last breakfast in our fridge a day before. The location might seem a bit far from the "center", but it is actually a great opportunity to visit other sides of the city. Highly recommended!

Overrated. AC is too weak for Barcelona summers, water bottles they keep in the room are flithy, uncomfortable beds. Location is good tho.

Casa Mathilda is our home away from home in Barcelona. And this time, during our most recent (and longest) stay, it truly became our home, when our family joined us there, flying in from Los Angeles (son, daughter in law, granddaughters). Assumpta, Patricia and the whole team (again) made us all feel welcome, catering to our every need with stellar detail and attention. We are also grateful for their special dedication to our British friend, who was there with us as well for a few days. Can't wait to get back. And we are seriously making plans towards that. Moltes gràcies per absolutament tot!

Casa Mathilda is just the perfect place to have a quiet, cosy stay in busy Barcelona. The hosts are friendly, and have a lot of great restaurant recommendations.
The location could not be better; you're minutes away from all the cool places in Eixample and Gracia.

We stayed 3 nights in April 2022 and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The location, service, breakfast and atmosphere was very special, comfortable and we will come back for sure.
The rooms are very pretty, spacious, warm and tastefull.
The breakfast was excellent! Coffee, juice, cake, croissants (even vegan milk-drinks) everything was just perfect and not too much to have a nice beginning of the day. The staff welcomed us every morning with a smile and gave us advice how to get along in Barcelona.

Very cute little B&B with very friendly hosts that were amazingly helpful in our first trip to Barcelona. The room was clean and fairly spacious. Breakfast was very good and had a long window of availability which we loved in case we slept in. I was amazed by the number of languages the staff spoke fluently! We plan on returning for our next trip!

We had a great stay at Casa Mathilda during the our four nights in Barcelona. The room was good and clean. The neighborhood has lots of shops and restaurants and is good located between different metro stations heading to the city centre. We also received lots of usefull tips from the lovely hostess) Well recommended!

Un lugar muy acogedor, limpio, tranquilo y la zona inmejorable. A 15 minutos de la Sagrada familia y a 30 de plaza Cataluña andando, al estar cuesta abajo, es un paseo muy agradable. Las chicas son encantadoras y el desayuno muy completo. Repetiría sin duda.
