Central Apartments Barcelona

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estadía en Central Apartments por cinco noches (familia con dos niños).
La ubicación de este lugar es increíble (cerca de todas las atracciones turísticas), agradable y clara. Realmente tranquilo por la noche. Nos encantaría volver allí

El apartamento fue al alcance de nuestras expectativas, todo bien cuidado, peró sobretodo un servicio impecable, Yiamilla nos dio una atención detallada y atenta, con un trato impecable, se le nota una gran experiencia de cara al público, un 10!

The place is in a very nice building of Barcelona, not really close to the other amenities; we need a taxi almost everyday, despite that we like to walk. The staff was helpful and the place spacious BUT what a disadvantage that it has almost NONE sound proof ability! This was like a joke.we could not speak, laugh or even sit in the patio after 10 pm. What the use of the patio if you may not sit outside on sweet summer night in Barcelona? We consider ourselves rather calm, soft-spoken people and yet.no patio. Which btw was practically in the basement, and not at all as presented in the pictures.

One of the worst experiences I made so far: One night we constantly got messages that we have been too loud, actually we were just drinking some wine in the living room and were chatting (that´s why we booked a whole apartment). While we did the check out the staff was really friendly and said everything is fine and thanked us. After one week back home I checked my bank account and saw that they took 200 Euro deposit. After trying to get it touch with someone for over 2 weeks I finally got to talk to the manager who was extremely unfriendly and acted like he didn´t know anything about the issue.

Charming, quiet, spacious and smoothly checked-in. It definitely is central to the main places to see. Really added to all the family's stay.

Renters beware! I booked a reservation through Expedia before I checked other sites. The pictures on Expedia didn't match the pictures taken by previous guest; so I called to cancel the reservation (within 15 minutes of making the reservation). The agent at the hotel assured me that the pictures on Expedia were accurate, because as the agent put it "they are professional pictures"; which made me worry more. It safe to say, I canceled the reservation and they offered me a full refund. Well instead of reversing the charge; they collected on the money and 3 days later issued me a refund. I'm from the US and everyone knows that the exchange rate changes daily, so as you would assume there was a difference in the amount charged verses what was refunded. So I contacted them and when I didn't get a response, I disputed the difference with my credit card company. To say they least, today I received one of the rudest and disrespectful emails I have ever received, they even called me by the wrong name. I will attach in the comment section. NOW they are continuing to charge my card and my credit card company has issued a fraud watch on them. PLEASE BEWARE!
