Citadines Ramblas Barcelona (Apart Hotel Barcelona)

Ventajas: La habitación estaba muy limpia y tranquila. Teníamos una pequeña cocina en la habitación que era muy cómoda para preparar una comida dentro de la habitación. La ubicación del hotel es la mejor. Teníamos acceso a una máquina de café en el vestíbulo las 24 horas. Está a poca distancia de las atracciones más turísticas de Barcelona.
Desventajas: El personal (recepción, personal de limpieza y portero) no es nada amable. No son acogedores. Ni sonrisa, ni saludos, nada. No ofrecen servicio de habitaciones durante su estancia en el hotel.

Solo una estrella. Para calificar la limpieza como cero, debes reservar más de 6 días para que te los tengan limpios.
Tienen cero moral y te hacen bromas como si fueran tu casa gratis
Y entran a tu habitación mientras duermes. Es increíble que la misma persona nos haya entrado dos veces mientras dormíamos.
Esto se llama descortesía.
Hay cero seguridad en la que la puerta no cierra.

Casi todo estuvo muy bien. El hotel era fácil de encontrar y tenía una ubicación céntrica, la habitación estaba limpia y era cómoda y la mayoría del personal era muy amable. También aprecié mucho que me dejaran entrar a nuestra habitación 30 minutos antes sin problemas y poder guardar nuestro equipaje durante unas horas después del check-out de forma gratuita antes de que partiera nuestro crucero. El único defecto fue el encargado del desayuno, bastante grosero y abrasivo, que no permitía que mi marido llevara una taza de café a nuestra habitación por la mañana. De hecho, ¡ni siquiera le dejó terminar de beber lo poco que ya había vertido en la taza! Más tarde fuimos testigos de cómo ella prohibía a los invitados sentarse en ciertos asientos en el área de desayuno, y simplemente otra mala educación general. Quizás eso sea una cuestión cultural (?), pero me pareció extraño para alguien en la industria hotelera. Sin embargo, era sólo esta persona. El desayuno continental me pareció un poco caro, 12 euros para lo que ofrece. Aparte de eso, la estancia fue en general cómoda. Otra nota: no entendíamos la necesidad de mantener la tarjeta de acceso en la ranura de la puerta de la habitación para que las luces de la habitación permanecieran encendidas. Lo descubrimos, pero el personal de check-in debe explicárselo a los huéspedes para que no se confundan.

Perfect hotel! Very very central, clean and good staff. The bed is amazing. For sure I will be back. Perfect for a short stay like 3-4 days.

This has to be the dumbest shower I've ever used. No door. No lip. Just water everywhere! Then slippery tile when finished. Everything else has been pretty good but this shower is horrible.

One of the best places that v have stayed so far in this trip of Portugal & Spain.
The front desk people were very helpful and polite.
The room has amazing view of the ramblas street and the room is very comfortable and spacious.
The coffee machine in the lounge has amazing coffee and it’s open for all guests, the room even has a small pantry & the breakfast spread was also very nice.
They even had a nice basket of goodies for my wife who was celebrating her pre 50th birthday in Spain.

The Hotel was clean an the rooms where great in size. Also the smal kitchen with the the freezer was awesome.

Breakfast was not that huge, but the food quality was great.

I will come back the next time in barca

La accesibilidad que tiene es increíble. Muy practico si se viene por trabajo o turismo, dado que la ubicación es privilegiada. Cerca de todo, con mucho acceso a transporte público. Y además la infraestructura está bien, el trago es ameno. Nada que reprochar!

En plein dans les Ramblas; à 2 pas du carré d’or… sympathique endroit au personnel agréable. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Il manque juste une petite cafetière. Parking à 25€ la nuit.

Well located service apartment (with kitchenette), good base to explore the city, and run by very friendly and helpful staff (English ok, and Frank was simply superb during check in / out and when we asked for assistance). We spread out our stay in Barcelona in Classic Room (last set of pics), Studio (2nd set), 1 Bedroom Apartment (1st set).

Pros
- Rooms are spacious in general (enough to place 2x XL luggage on floor)
- Kitchenette means microwave oven, metal cutlery, proper cups / plates / bowls, induction cooker, even toaster and dishwasher, and a sink (hot / cold) outside the toilet.
- Walk-in shower with Grohe showerhead (2 modes ~ spray / rain), water pressure strong and knob is easy to control (heated water in < 5 secs).
- Power sockets avail on both sides of bed
- Classic Room - Single floor to ceiling window in room that opens out to garden view / fresh air (room 515) aka nano balcony. Studio / 1 Bedroom Apartment all had large sliding standard sized windows that opens for fresh air, windows for both our rooms opened up to a gorgeous view of south side (W-Hotel in distance, side view of La Ramblas), as our room was on higher level e.g 9th flr and above.
- 5mins walk from Placa de Catalunya stop for aerobus (from Barcelona El-Prat Airport), Carrefour opposite the hotel, Decathlon / small convenience store directly behind hotel, 5mins walk to La Boqueria market / metro.
- Luggage storage available (if you are returning to hotel later, but want to store large sized items instead of bringing along outside to other cities).
- Very nice sun deck on rooftop, with nice city view, Sagrada Familia partial view in distance (8am - 8pm, card access required + need to climb 2 flight of stairs to access from 9th flr).
- Free coffee machine 24/7 basis (breakfast area)

Cons
- Lack of full length mirror (only a TV size mirror next to TV)
- Depending on room, might need walk to transfer to another lift (at other side of hotel) to reach room, 30m away.
- Given nature of service, daily room cleaning not available, but exchange of towels (one-to-one) is available at front desk any time.
- No room slippers available
- Due to design of shower area (or perhaps water proofing was missing at our room aka 515), water leaks outside to toilet bowl area, and even out of toilet area (requires a towel to soak up). Studio has walk in shower, 1 bedroom apartment has shower in bathtub, both of which has an aesthetically classy half screen for shower (but tremendously lousy usage to keep water out of dry area). We easily lost 1 or 2 towels to water splashing in such instance (to wipe floor dry).

Bien localizado. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Cama muy dura y el baño, la parte de la ducha, es incómodo e inseguro. No incluye limpieza de la habitación ni cambió de toallas. Desayuno se paga aparte y es regular.

Hotel location is great and lobby looks good. However, the bed was hard and in-room amenity was rather standard. Noise isolation was not that great but didn’t affect sleep. An average 3-star hotel offering.

Lovely location with alot of life and holiday vibe.close to the train station and taxis passing by constantly. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.

Booked for a good few days. On arrival The desk staff lacked friendliness. Rooms are okay yet disappointing. Floors were sticky - toilet was not flushed the bin was dirty and so was the floors.

For the amount that we have paid to our disappointment there was no housekeeping. If you required your room to be cleaned there is an extra charge. For clean towels you get it yourself at reception.

The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher fridge stove and microwave. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, iron, safe free Wi-Fi and hairdryer provided.

Breakfast is very basic

No se puede pedir más de este apartahotel. Está situado en pleno centro de las Ramblas, al lado del Barrio Gótico. Es muy bonito y tranquilo. El servicio ha sido muy bueno y la limpieza exquisita. Me he sentido como una duquesa.

We spent 3 nights end of January here, and I definitely recommend this place. Staff is helpful and nice, location is perfect, the parking is secure, the room is very clean. I honestly recommend you this place for a stay in the heart of Barcelona. And special thanks to the receptionist Mario for his kindness and professionalism! I will definitely come back to this hotel for my next visit to Barcelona.

Très bon séjour, appart hôtel propre. Bon petit déjeuner, il y a largement ce qu'il faut. C'est très bien placé.
Le personnel est très sympa, agréable, à l'écoute et de bon conseil si vous chercher un bon restaurant.

This is our third hotel during our stay in Spain and this is the only place that doesn’t do daily cleaning.

If you want to get fresh towels, you need to get it yourself at reception.

Bathroom is old and not very clean as well.

SERVICE IS ALSO NOT FRIENDLY.

Es un lugar muy.interesante que logra sumergir al transeúnte pacíficamente entre emociones sabores adquitertura historia y sobretodo vida.

Excellent LOCATION with covenient facilities. In addition, easy to reach from Barcelona airport by Aerobus. Just 5min by walk from Aerobus Stop at Catalunya plaza. Big supermarket is located in the opposite road.

Ubicación inmejorable, cerca de todo y acceso a transporte público, muy buena relación precio-calidad. Regresaré a este lugar.

Great location on La Ramblas street. Closer to many restaurants and the metro station. Complimentary coffee and water available round the clock. Rooms are spacious with all the required amenities.

Es muy confortable, pero quise hacer fotos en un sitio al lado suyo y no me dejaron. Sus habitaciones parecen muy acogedores pero no muy grandes, lo malo es que hay mucho ruido exterior.

Wonderful location from which to explore Ramblas and the Gothic Quarters. The apartments offer modern designs and amenities.

Location is right in la ramblas and super convenient! Shops and restaurants right next door!

staff were very friendly and the front counter area is super pretty haha.worth it to pay for the more expensive price than other hotels / apartments further away as the location is just very very good and super easily accessible.highly recommended! Hotel was also very clean and the apartment for 4 was very comfy and roomy.

Second time we have been here. Wasn't even goin to come to Barcelona again cos we have a big holiday coming up and we had cheap flights to Barcelona then Citadines was super cheap so we thought why the hell not. Excellent location right in the thick of it in La Rambla. Nice rooms with mini kitchen area but I wouldn't pay full price till they steam clean the shower and make it so the twin single beds don't roll away when you try and sleep next to you other half. Also churros is over rated.

Great location, room was tidy & comfortable. Very dark though & the shower not great. The breakfast isn't quite worth the 12euro each, but was handy. Staff were ok, room never got gets reset unless staying 6 days + and you ask & charged for it. Best thing was the location & huge bed. Tiny balcony but nice view.

The hotel location is perfect, within 2 minute walk to the main metro station. The staff are friendly and welcoming, these roof terrace with incredible views of Barcelona, room are spacious, clean and modern. Because of the hotels location it feels very safe going out in late evening with lots of restaurants and bar close open to late. The only thing that lets this hotel down are the beds, there really hard it’s like sleeping on a concrete slab.
