Estudio Shine

Empece clases de piano con Laura Babetto y luego supo acompañarme con clases de producción musical. Recomiendo mucho!

Estoy tomando clases de canto desde hace más de 4 años en esta escuela y estoy muy feliz con mi maestra. Su nombre es Carlos y es muy atractivo, motivador y adapta su enseñanza a la forma en que aprendo. Canta muy bien, entiende mis luchas, toca varios instrumentos y cada vez que voy allí (una vez a la semana) siento una sensación de progreso. Ya recomendé esta escuela a 3 de mis amigos. No he tenido la oportunidad de que ningún otro maestro me enseñe en esta escuela, así que solo puedo hablar por Carlos.

Modifico otra vez ya que me devolvieron las clases.
Debo modificar mi reseña y pasar de darle 5 estrellas a 1 (si pudiera le pondria 0 pero no se puede). El profe de violín sigue de 10 con unas clases geniales y le agradezco mucho por su profesionalismo y paciencia pero la escuela en si es para dar vergüenza ajena. Ni tengo palabras para expresar mi disgusto. Muy mala organización, falta de información, obesesión para cobrar (aunque acabas de pagar te dicen que les debes dinero o cancelas clases y crees que todo está bien porque ellos mismos te avisan que tu bono ha vencido teniendo bien en cuenta la cancelación hasta que 2 meses después y con un nuevo bono de repente te quieren cobrar la clase). Fatal. Ya me rindo.

Sóc alumne de l'escola de música "Estudi Shine" des dels 6 anys i aquí continuo. És un lloc fabulós on he après pràcticament tot el que sé sobre teoria i práctica musical (en el meu cas, la guitarra). Cada setmana aprenc coses noves i part d'aquest èxit és la gran proximitat que brinden els professors d'aquesta escola. 10/10

I have been taking singing lessons with Carlos for a few weeks now and I must say it has exceeded all my expectations. Carlos is one of those people whose positive energy is just contagious and it gives you his passion for music and singing from the beginning. He has an extreme amount of knowledge and knows how to convey it in such a way that you learn a lot and quickly right from the start. I am a complete beginner and was honestly a bit afraid of what to expect, but after the first lesson I knew I wanted to take lessons with him. Although I have not been singing for long, I can already say that it is one of my favorite hobbies and I am so glad I dared to start, it was the right decision. For the above reasons, I can highly recommend Carlos and the Shine school of music, with whom it is always very easy to communicate. The school flexibly adapts to individual wishes and that gives you a good feeling. I would like to see the school possibly provide fresh water with lemon or something similar, especially for voice students, that would make me feel even more comfortable.

Me encantan los conciertos online. Son tan inclusivos con todos los estudiantes y es maravilloso verlos actuar y tener la oportunidad de crecer en confianza. Y como ahora están en YouTube, puedes volver a verlos después de la presentación en vivo.

Excelente escuela de música con excelentes maestros que son músicos y están al tanto de la última música y felices de enseñar las últimas cosas, lo cual es increíble.

Tomo clases de percusión latina en la escuela y estoy muy contenta! El profesor es excelente, las instalaciones son bonitas y cómodas y todo el personal es muy amable. Recomiendo esta escuela!

Hago clases de canto con Denisse Iturra y es una excelente profesora, te hace sentir súper a gusto y tiene muchos conocimientos sobre la materia. Hemos hecho ejercicios muy interesantes para técnica vocal y me han ayudado muchísimo a mejorar y entender mejor mi voz. 100% recomendable tanto la escuela como Denisse.

Sebastian es un gran músico y super profe! No le pongo mas estrellas a la escuela porque las aulas no están insonorizadas y alguna vez me tocó alguna clase de trompeta al lado que sonaba muy fuerte. También mi aula estaba en la entrada y la gente esperando en la entrada lo podía escuchar todo. A parte de eso estoy muy contenta con mi profe de ukelele/guitarra Sebastian.

Soy estudiante de guitarra en la Shine de hace más de tres años y estoy muy contento con la escuela.

Por la parte administrativa nunca he tenido un problema y siempre se me ha contestado en meno de 24 horas.

Por la parte del profesor, Sebastián, que decir: un crack! Profesor competente con un profundo conosciento musical que ha sabido adaptar las clases a mi progression (en mi caso he empezado desde zero) alternado teoria a pratica, utilizando distintas herramientas de aprendizaje. Recientemente por tema de trabajo hemos pasado a modalidad online y la calidad de las clases no se ha visto afectada.

En definitiva un escuela muy recomendable!

They di not let me choose the guitar for rent. When I arrived at the shop, after a previous chat asking for info, I already found what they chose, ready for me. It was a bad one. I wasted my money and the performance of my concert proved really embarassing. Never again.

Cuidado con el profesor de canto Carlos Palacios Van Isschot. Hubo una propuesta de darme clases particulares, llegamos a un acuerdo de hacerlo fuera de la escuela, en su casa, y me cobraba 25 euros la hora. Hubo una última clase que no se dio y le he pedido reiteradas veces que por favor me devuelva los 25 euros de la clase no dada. Aun no responde a los mensajes, ni en el WhatsApp ni en el Instagram. Ha pasado mucho tiempo ya.
Se que nada va a hacer que me regrese el dinero, pero dejo como advertencia la calidad de persona que está demostrando ser, con la escuela y con los alumnos.

Both of my children have been doing piano classes at Shine for the last four years and we are obviously very happy.
The progress they’ve made is incredible and their teacher makes a huge effort to personalise the classes.
We are really impressed with their progress. All the staff at the school are very helpful and flexible.

Probé con varios profesores de guitarra antes de entrar en esta escuela y no me funcionó mucho. Pero en esta escuela me asignaron de profesor a Sebas, que me explica todo de una manera super clara y en sólo 2 meses he tenido un avance que no había conseguido antes en varios años que llevaba intentando aprender.

El trato y la flexibilidad con las secretarias también es genial. En general el ambiente es inmejorable.

Excellent personalized instruction. This find is a goldmine for learning, and motivation. One could even say, "best online music school in the world! " I took flamenco guitar classes from my home in San Francisco, they were always ready to find a time that was good for them and me. Will be back as schedule allows and I hope to meet my instructor in person next time I am in Barcelona.

Una gran academia y Milos un fantastico profesor. Con mi hijo tiene una gran paciencia, le enseña canciones populares y canciones modernas que le gustan a el. Tiene varios centros en gracia para sus clases y nunca ponen un problema para cambios de hora o dia sino puede acudir o bien la opcion de hacerla online. Conocemos la academia hace muchos años y estamos muy muy contentos. Felicidades Shine!

I started my adult piano journey from this school. Jofre Gibert was my first piano teacher. I really enjoyed the classes he taught. I had to leave because of moving. Best wishes to Jofre and the school.

I've been having guitar lessons with Sebastian and I couldn't be happier with them! The teaching style is very flexible and really customized to the music taste and existing knowledge of the student. There is a great mix between theory and practice that means you really understand the music you're learning but the lessons are also super interactive and never dull or dry. Overall I would highly recommend Shine and Sebastian to anyone who is thinking of picking up guitar or wants to improve their current level

I recently had the pleasure of taking classical guitar lessons for 2 months at the Shine School Of Music in Barcelona. I’m very happy with the instruction I received and highly recommend this school for their professionalism, attention to detail and their willingness to tailor the lessons to my schedule. Refused to schedule lessons via email unless I filled in an online form.

Edit/Reply 1: The form asks for personal data that it should not. My home address, birthdate, passport number are not needed to align my musical interests with a teacher. There is an implied security risk here.

The information needed for aligning and scheduling was already in the email, or could just as easily have switched to a phone call, which is all you get offered at the end of the form anyway. If lessons ever do happen I'll update this review

Careful, don’t rent instruments from these people. They overcharge in an insane way. I paid 500€ for a second hand clarinet that is sold on the second hand market for 50-80 euros. The thing is, they offer you to rent the instrument first for a “small” monthly fee and eventually you have bought it from them. Long term rental here is a complete rip-off, I was so shocked when I realized. Very disappointed.

I’ve been taking classical violin lessons with Studio Shine for 2 years now. My experience has been amazing and continuously rewarding with really professional teachers that adapt to your knowledge and skills who strive to give their students opportunities to advance. Branislav is a fantastic and supportive teacher who has really helped me find my passion in classical violin. He’s been the most patient and encouraging teacher I’ve had, who understands it is not just about reading and teaching notes but being able to communicate and demonstrate how to interpret music. For anyone interested in taking music lessons I would highly recommend Estudio Shine for adults and children alike!

El profesor de violÍn, Branislav, no solo te motiva sino que te transmite su emoción por la música. Desde el primer día empiezas hacer duetos y se implica mucho en tus prácticas. Le recomiendo 100% (^‿^)

My daughter has been going to Ukulele classes there for 1.5 years. We even had a teacher coming to our house during lockdown. She has two teachers so far, both are very professional and know how to keep a six year old engaged for the duration of her class. She is getting more skilled and loves the experience.

Mi experiencia la puedo calificar de muy buena. El trato con los alumnos es excelente, así como el conocimiento académico de los profesores. Por otro lado, su flexibilidad horaria, facilita el acceso a las clases.

I have been taking classical guitar lessons with Studio Shine for 4 years now. They offer you the possibility of taking the lessons via Skype, which for me is a perfect setup since I live abroad. The experience has been so far amazing, with really professional teachers that adapt to your knowledge and skills, and a schedule flexibility hard to get in other places. Highly recommended!

I came to Barcelona for a month. I wanted to have a couple of singing lessons with spanish teacher. I wrote a letter to Shine school explaining my needs. They sent me a lot of information with different type of subscriptions. I told, that I am not ready to pay untill I try. They offered me a test lesson for 25Eur available after registration. That is ok. I did registration. And received the letter according to which I should pay 30Eur for registration. Unfortunately, I cannot speak about the level of the teachers in this school. But I can tell that it is not client oriented organisation. In my opinion, paying for registration on the site in advance is the worst method of getting loyal customers.

After looking around and trying different schools I am so glad I found this place. Highly recommend it. Great teachers and good prices!

I have been taking guitar lessons at Estudio Shine for 1.5 years. I am based in the US and take my lessons over Skype. I found the studio by chance while on vacation in Barcelona and scheduled a one off lesson. It was so great I continued over Skype. Milos is a fantastic teacher who has really helped me grow as a musician. I have taken lessons for years with other teachers and have not seen the same type of progress. For anyone interested in taking guitar/music lessons I would highly recommend Estudio Shine. Even if you aren't in Barcelona, the Skype lessons are a great option!
