Awful scam! They stole our money and it's quite dangerous for kids.it's a big scam.they are all together in this trash (the hotel, the local police.). Europe basketball academy is a real fraud.plenty of parents writing to me to confirm.stay away! They are a nightmare!

These are professional scammers! Mafia! Please avoid! They take your money quickly and never respond.

Awful!!! This company is a scam. Absolutely to avoid. Paid for a 2 weeks camp that got cancelled, promised a refund that never materialized. I read online that so many families went through the same. Stay away from Europe Basketball Academy. Completely unprofessional. Super responsive prior to paying the fees, now that we expect a refund due by law, no way to contact them. They do not reply to emails nor WhatsApp’s. Absolutely terrible company

Esta academia tornou-se uma fraude!

Em Setembro de 2021 exigiram o pagamento integral para um campus de verão em Junho de 2022.
O campus começou mal, com mudança de hotel e de campo de treino.
48 horas depois do início do campus, dão por cancelado o campus alegando incapacidade financeira, tendo em conta a escalada de preços que se vive na Europa. Esta situação não é nova, pelo que deveriam ter considerado a reformulação de preços e proposto uma atualização dos valores a pagar. Mas não, limitaram-se a cancelar o campus, dando 24 horas para os Pais arranjarem forma de levar os seus filhos para casa.
É muito grave, irresponsável e um crime público, pois abandonaram cerca de 50 crianças, de diversas origens que vão desde Estados Unidos até à Ucrânia, com idades entre os 11 a 17 anos, na rua.

ATENÇÃO: NUNCA DEIXEM OS VOSSOS FILHOS PARTICIPAREM NESTE TIPO DE CAMPUS!

This scam camp just cancelled one week before camp start. Their excuse is Covid, even though all of Spain is open. The comments from parents before about the camp starting july 2nd make clear that they are unprofessional scammers. This should be flagged to european consumer rights agency and I will move forward to sue these people.

Europe Basketball Academy cares for it's players. They are prepared to push a mile more for every player and help him to reach his goal. Professional staff with a huge experience in basketball. They don't just talk about the players results, they prove them. If you are looking to develop your basketball skills and to start a professional experience in Europe I highly recommend Europe Basketball Academy!

My son Jacob that is 16 years old every year starts summer holidays with this camp. We’ve been participating past 4 years in the junior summer program and I can say that everything in this academy is exactly like they present it on their website. Food has been always healthy and that is what Jacob learned first in this academy, to eat like an athlete and that it’s important to go to wake up early and go to bed on time. Accommodation is academy is excellent, kids live right on the beach in a big academy residence and staff members are always with them so I feel very comfortable with the entire setup. We already booked a place for a June camp and our experience with Europe Basketball Academy is excellent.

I tried a couple of practices with different academies in Spain, and it just wasn't the right fit for me, I didn’t feel that people cared enough for me. So eventually, I searched for an academy with the strongest background and credibility and I found Europe Basketball Academy in Barcelona as the best choice. In this academy, they gave me enough attention and patience to elevate my game to the next level and I will keep coming back every summer as long as I play basketball. I liked the way academy had supervisors that were available for players always and, for example, when I asked their help to buy a local sim card for my phone, they took me immediately to a shop where I got one. My room was nice and clean and I enjoyed my stay in this academy. Strong recommendation if you want to be treated like a pro.

I am currently at this academy and I’m enjoying the experience. I am from Amsterdam and I came here to improve my game. Accommodation is very good, we are accommodated in rooms with AC, I have only one roommate from Philadelphia. We have ahead tournaments in France and Belgium and currently, we are preparing to perform well there. Coach Ivan is a bit hard on us and practices are demanding but after one month I got used to and now I enjoy the entire experience. Weather is also great, sunshine every day, back in Holland we have a lot of rain and this was a nice change for me.

Best customer service! My son’s uniform was the size we picked in application but it was small for him so Europe Basketball Academy sent him a new uniform free of charge that fits him perfectly. Very nice manner that we appreciated a lot!

Coach Ivan is the best. He's patient and attentive but very hard on players. He can quickly spot what's wrong with your game and take you to the next level. I met a lot of friends in this academy that I’m still in contact with and I will always remember the great moments we spent together in Barcelona.

The most professional and personable basketball experience you will find. The pros will treat you like gold and if you do attend Europe Basketball Academy you will meet some wonderful people. Highly recommend!

Coaches are very professional and serious. I have been playing basketball for 11 years and worked with many coaches but here they push you out of your comfort zone and that part I like a lot. Housing was also nice, I had a roommate from Japan and learned a lot from him about Japanese life and culture. I got a team when I reached pro level and currently I am playing professionally in Finland.

My son really enjoyed practice sessions with Coach Goran at Europe Basketball Academy. We decided Matthew to join this academy because in Australia we don’t have a lot of options for kids learn to basketball and we made a great choice with this academy. When we arrived in Spain, they waited for us at Barcelona airport with a free airport shuttle and that was a very nice gesture. Rooms were nice and clean and they had a maid coming every two days. Overall, a very serious and professional organization.

Highly recommend. I attended Europe Basketball Academy for 6 months and I was super impressed with how fast my skills have progressed. Living by the beach was also fun since I’m from Canada where winters are very cold. I enjoyed morning jogging by the sea every Saturday and I may say that this academy not just made me be a better player but also I became more responsible and disciplined, at least that is what my parents say!

I sent my son to Impact academy in Vegas in the US where drills and coaches were good but it was too many kids in the camp and it was very hard for my son to get an intensity of practices that he needed to improve. In Europe Basketball Academy we found a comfortable place where there are only 15 players in one group on the court and they also use 8 baskets during workouts so my son is now very happy with a number of repetitions he gets and also it is much closer and cheaper for me to travel and come to visit him from London comparing to traveling in Vegas. They also do preparation for SAT in small groups in this academy and my son will be able to do an SAT in Barcelona in March 2019 so I highly recommend this academy to parents that are looking for one place with all resources for their kids.

The quality of the training was an incredible value for my son Roger at such a high-level in the beginning. Later what drove my attention was the personal interest from coaches in what my son wants to achieve during his future sports career and this individual approach to a young players was something that we only met in this academy. Europe Basketball Academy staff explained to Roger what exactly he will need to do so he reach his life and sports goals and because of this unique approach my son wants to keep coming back for more. This coming summer will be our 3rd time that Roger will attend this amazing academy and he works so hard day by day so when he comes back to Barcelona, he shows his coaches how much he improved and how close he is to his planned goals.

My son Joshua is studying and training with Europe Basketball Academy for past 2 years and has made a good progress not only in basketball but also in high school studies. Today when I look at Joshua he is very responsible and a confident young man. His speech and body language haveh changed for the better. The entire management of Europe Basketball Academy is always available to extend their help in his guidance and they are approachable at any given time. We consider ourselves very fortunate that Joshua got accepted at Europe Basketball Academy. This academy is a complete package not only to deliver a sports person with personality development but to give a good human being to the community as well. I’m proud to see my boy is growing into an adult person month by month and as a mother, I can’t be happier.

I had a great experience in this academy. From the moment Milos welcomed me on the airport everything was well organized and everything was exactly like it is on the website. I enjoyed workouts that were hard but my favorite part was that I had access to the spa area with jacuzzi 7 days a week. I will definitely come back!

I never had basketball coaches in the Philippines to show me the things Europe Basketball Academy coaches taught me, about ball handling especially. When I go to play basketball now at my club everyone ask me who's been teaching me. I have 3 friends that are now in this academy doing shooting program and they told me that their shooting improved a lot so my next program that I will attend will be shooting program. We stayed in touch with Srdjan and his staff after the camp was finished and they kept giving us good tips regarding our daughter’s career. During the junior camp we could see often that female professional players came on practices to help the girls camp with their career stories and clinics, Joanna really liked this part where she had a chance to get tips and advice from established professionals. If you are looking for an advanced program for your kid, we know, first-hand, that with this academy your kid will be forming a solid foundation in technique and will really enjoy the camp and have fun. Europe Basketball Academy has put together a very good program which keeps my kids engaged, interested and growing appetite to learn new basketball stuff during the summertime while my wife and I steal some time to enjoy sightseeing in a beautiful country like Spain. Rooms were nice and clean and our two boys had a room with 2 beds. Coach Goran has been working mostly on offensive techniques while Coach Ivan was in charge of defensive workouts. We like this program and we strongly recommend it.

I attended Europe Basketball Academy two times so far and I really enjoyed the program. The coaches are great and know basketball. They also know how to make the practices interesting. We played a lot of games against clubs in Spain and this really helped me to understand where my skill level was at that moment.

Great place to focus only on basketball. I improved a lot during the program especially my shooting skills. Also the weather is great. I enjoyed!

If you want your child to have a good summer camp put him at Europe Basketball Academy summer camp. My son attended camp last summer and he is now among best players in his team, last year he was only bench player. Europe Basketball Academy changed his game a lot and I am so happy to see him enjoying the basketball on the court.

This is the best basketball program I've ever attended in my life. The entire program is well organized and understand now why Europe Basketball Academy is ranked as number 1 academy in Europe.

We just pulled our son from this camp. Nothing was as advertised on the website. Whatever you do, DO NOT send your son or daughter here! I feel lucky that I only lost money and my son is safe. Campers were lost in Vilanova, campers weren't supervised and got access to drugs and alcohol. Then there's the facilities, imagine the worst gym you've ever seen, that gym is better than the gym the camp provided and even then the gym wasn't even theirs for use during the day.

The first two weeks my son slept on a sofa. The housing was not a hotel and wasn't arranged until 7 p.m. On our day of arrival. Very unorganized, when we first got there with our 16 year old son from America there was about 70 other kids and had us just waiting around for a whole day because housing had not been paid for. The camp had no idea where kids ended up at the end of the day.

The food was nothing that was promoted on their site. My son would just end up making his own meals with the money we provided. There was not enough toilet paper at the houses and never at the gym. After two weeks the spa they advertised was only available to campers 3 times. The final straw was campers were told they wouldn’t be having access to the gym the last 10 days and would be playing outside during the hottest part of the summer.

A week before the camp they asked for another 160 Euros for a danger waiver, you are pretty much screwed because at that point you have already bought your plane tickets. I am a legit parent and am being very honest about our experience, I never do right ups but this is a total scam and worst your child will NOT be safe with these people. Another thing was the rooms were co-ed alwith no supervision. DON'T DO IT or you will really regret it. Call around and talk to other camps in Spain if your child wants a international basketball experience.

Below the program of the academy with our disputes.
Supervision We deeply care about the security and well being of our young players. For that reason, all of them are under 24h supervision. (the players hadn't monitors at all on the way home-gyms as well as on the various days of rest they were left to themselves)
Location Players are accommodated in the seaside area of Barcelona. Players are taken care of since the moment they arrive at Barcelona International Airport El Prat, and their transfer to the Academy is organized by us. (it was not so: when they arrived in El Prat, they waited a few hours without being informed how long they would have to stay there, particularly considering that when they finally arrived at their accomodation, they were immediately taken to do the workouts, without even being able to eat lunch and/or arrange the luggage. The accommodations was not on the seaside area of Barcelona, it was 20 25-minutes on foot to reach seaside and consisted of beds arranged everywhere, also in the corridors, obviously without doors, from where boys had to pass to go to the other floors. Some washing machines were broken and the cleanings of the beds and rooms were not done on a regular basis and were totally inadequate for such a large number of boys settled in this building. Finally, on the way back to the airport, at five o'clock in the morning, boys (minors as in the case of my son) had to reach the station on foot and without a guide, so they were left to themselves in front of the airport entrance, also, long before check-in.
Facility The Academy is using Barcelona finest sports facilities that include 3 indoor courts, 4 indoor pools and a professional weight room. (Our son could not use any swimming pool. In fact, as he and his friends had no monitors, they could not reach the swimming pool which was really far from the accomodations. Neither in their days of rest!)
Staff Every day, only qualified international basketball coaches will be working with players on developing their basketball fundamentals. (This is confirmed)
Free time A lot of interesting activities will be organized for players during their spare time: visit to Camp Nou (Barcelona FC stadium), swimming school for non-swimmers, Flamenco dance nights, beach visits etc. (Frankly, my son has not found any of these extra activities, even though there were many days of rest from basket works out. Above mentioned extra activities were some of the reasons that made us choose this camp, we thought that our son could have raised his knowledge of Barcellona and Spain culture.)
Certificate At the end of the program, all players are awarded with an Europe Basketball Academy certificate. (no certificate of participation was given, this point has also been completely disregarded) Sports gear ERREA Italian sportswear brand is providing sports gear for all coaches and players. (it has been fully disregarded in all respects) Before the boy's departure, we wrote and asked clearly, with WA and e-mail, to the manager Mr. Vladimir Mikic, to clarify if the clothing would have been given for all practices and the answer was always the same: "the Academy will provide players with everything that will be needed for practices, so: backpack, towels, basketball jersey. The boys should have brought only socks and basketball shoes with them". Instead, none of this was given to the boys, contrary to what has been guaranteed to us over and over again. At our request for explanations on the non-delivery of the uniforms, there was another correspondence with Mr. Srdjan Premovic from where we learnt that they would have given a uniform only during the movie for fear that the boys could lose the uniform! Moreover, as the movie has never been filmed, they have never been given neither uniforms nor anything else. At the end of the camp the boys were told that both uniforms and certificate would have been shipped home by the academy to the players! We are still waiting for them. You haven't been correct on this point!

Europe Basketball Academy is an excellent and highly recommended program, my daughter has attended summer camp this year including past two summers also. Now we are going to plan next year as well for the year school program. The staff are excellent, the supervision is on the high level, Peter especially took good care of girls. Coaching is very professional and detailed which is exactly what my daughter needed. It is all about a two-way street where the child must be dedicated and willing to learn from the best. Overall we are very happy and my daughter’s basketball has imporved as has her self confidence and ability to think on her own two feet under great European coaching.

My son Samuel is currently attending this camp and he is having great experience. Practices are really brought to high-level, my son is working with Goran on his skills and my son really enjoy it so far. Food is also good with lot of different dishes and I couldn't make better decisions this summer for my boy. I really recommend this academy to all parents and players that are taking basketball for serious. My son also told me that some kids that didn't behave properly were sent home from this camp, which for me a parent is really important to know that this camp isn't a place where kids can joke around.

Great academy and highly recommended! My son was only there for a one month in summer 2018, but I can’t say enough good words about the coaches that were taking care about every detail during the practices and how much my boy improved. The food in the restaurant was good, it got a bit boring week by week, but there was more than enough choice. Staff were friendly and the accommodation was great. The only thing wasn’t expected is that Spanish people don’t speak a lot of English, however we got used to it pretty quickly and in academy everyone is speaking fluent English so my son Harold didn’t have any problems to follow the program.

Great location and ran by great coaches. If you are serious about basketball then this is the place for you.

This academy is great and helps put’s you in a position to become a pro athlete but you have to be willing to work and have patience.

This academy was great, just stay focused on what you are here for and good things will come. Don't listen to the noise when you arrive keep your head down and work. Remember if God brought you to it he will get you through it.
