Such a great food tour of Barcelona! Warm and welcoming. Very flexible. Quickly dealt with any bumps in the road. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Thoroughly enjoyed our extended trip through tapas and Spanish, drinking with Susanna. Doesn’t get better than this. Accessed small restaurants/bars that as a tourist I’d likely never visit. Truly a treat.

I've done a few of these food tours, and while they've all been very good, this was the best. Suzanna was a wonderful host, taking us to great spots and going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The phrase "life-changing new way of eating potatoes" was used more than once. After the tour, we felt like we knew exactly how to get the best food in Barcelona and felt comfortable knowing what to order, which helped us for the rest of our trip. Can't recommend this strongly enough.

We had the most amazing time with Susana on our food tour. She was very fun and inviting. We tried many new foods in the most beautiful places. The tour definitely made our trip to Barcelona unforgettable.

Fantastic! Susana, our tour guide from Food Lovers Tour, gave us a wonderful day in Barcelona! She knew local spots for food that we would never have found on our own- delicious local fare we would have been disappointed to have missed! She described the ingredients, giving local color and preparation. In addition, as we passed cultural highlights, she explained their significance. And at the end of the tour, when I asked where we could find the best gelato I was not disappointed! Would definitely recommend!

This tour actually does under promise and over deliver! Anais our tour guide was exceptional. Her ability to share and encourage discussion was perfect.
The food…. Well all I can say is that we were feed till full with some of the most exquisite food and wine!
I wouldn’t ever use another wine and tapas tour company again.

Tourists would walk right past or NEVER find! Our host Susana knew all of the secret spots that only locals know about. The food, beverages and hospitality was exceptional! Susana led tours were well managed, and every proprietor made room for our arrival …. While others had to wait outside! We booked this early during our time in Barcelona, and it made the rest of our dining experiences much more knowledgeable!
In addition, Susana provided invaluable tips on other neighborhoods and restaurants to visit.

Oh my goodness! Where do I start to share with you the amazing time I had with our food tour guide, Susana? She was warm and friendly, and informative about the food and local customs. She adjusted the schedule to give us a side tour of the older Roman parts of Barcelona (which allowed our food digest a little before our next restraint). All the food we tasted was AMAZING! It was fun to visit several places that the locals frequent and experience foods and culture that we would have never found on our own! I would highly recommend this experience to others, especially if you find food to be an adventure!

I would recommend this company to anybody who travels here and wants an amazing experience. Susannah was a very fun and very informative tour guide and went above and beyond her duties as our tour guide, even doing little detours to show us interesting facts about the city. Was definitely one of my favorite parts of my trip.

My husband and I had such a lovely time on our private food tour with Susana. She took us to some great spots that we would have otherwise missed out on and we had lots of delicious tapas/drinks/desserts. Every place we went, you could tell that the restaurant owners were happy to see her and that she knows each spot well. She did a great job ordering things that she liked and wanted us to try - things we wouldn't have gotten otherwise (like squid ink croquettes)!
She was so fun to chat with about what life is like in Barcelona, and was such a warm and fun tour guide. When walking from place to place, she would point out some cool sights and we would pop our head into some buildings that she personally admires. Overall is was such a relaxed and informative and tasty experience and I would definitely recommend it to any food lovers who want a real and intimate feel for everything Barcelona!

Our guide, Susanna, was fabulous. In addition to taking us to for lovely, unique, out-of-the-way restaurants, she provided a wonderful commentary on the historical sites we were seeing in the old city. She accommodated our wishes in ordering food and the quantity she ordered. We had a blast. She also gave great recommendations for other things for us to see later in the week on our visit and they were spot on. Highest recommendation for this company.

One of the best tours ever. Do yourself a favor and book with them. We did it our first night in Barcelona and had Margarita as our extraordinary host.
There were only 6 of us in the tour. She oriented is to the city perfectly. Combined general site seeing with stops in bars and restaurants and ordered local fare for us. I think we ended up hanging out for over 4 hours.
It was a perfect way to conquer jet lag - she led us around we didn’t have to figure anything out. She is absolutely delightful. She also helped us by booking a fabulous restaurant for our anniversary and gave us the name of a great paella restaurant and also made reservations. This was done by email AFTER the tour! We travel a lot and have done many tours, this was the best. Warm and personal and full of joy.

There are endless options for food tours and we were very happy with Nuria and her small group tour. We sampled great local favorites were only the locals themselves frequent. We felt like we were amongst old friends and we made great memories. Thanks Nuria!

What a great time with our guide Nuria! It is a very intimate tour, 6 people maximum, and we got to really see many local spots! Each spot is carefully picked out and off the tourist track, highly recommend; we would not have found these places without food lovers company!

Doing this tour was one of the best decisions I made in Barcelona. I am a true foodie and I have to say that the food experiences offered on this tour were better than any other experience I had while in the city! Such a lovely experience! Led by a true local, Nuria, we were led through the streets of Old Barcelona and went through what the everyday tapas experience would be like for the locals. Nuria was passionate about sharing the cultural and social context of the restaurants, landmarks, and dishes we ate, which made the tour more immersive and special. Can't recommend it enough!

My friend and I booked the Barcelona Food Tour and got Margherita as our guide. There was actually nobody else booked on our tour so we ended up getting a private tour with her. We knew it would be top notch from the minute it started as we sat in a square waiting for a restaurant that only opens 3 times a week that 90% of even locals probably do not know exists and we were not disappointed. Margherita is extremely knowledgeable and also very kind and accommodating. The tour was the highlight of our 4 day stay in the city and I would definitely do it all again the next time I am in town. If you are looking for the best food tour to book for yourself in Barcelona and price is not a major consideration- stop looking. This is it, you found it.

We had an amazing time in Barcelona, but this tour is the highlight (and pretty much all we talk about)! Our guide was Nuria- who is the most knowledgeable and delightful guide. She is the perfect ambassador for her city, which she loves so much.
She took us to places we would never have gone to and amazed us with her encyclopaedic knowledge of all things culinary!

Without a doubt one of the highlights of our time in Barcelona! We ate the most delicious food at places that tourists could never find on their own. Our tour guide was lovely and gave us a peek into local life in Barcelona. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent food tour. There we only 6 people on the tour (they only allow a maximum of 6 people). We went to four different places - all were close to our hotel in the gothic quarter and in the born quarter. On my own, I couldn't discern them as "good places to eat" from the huge amount of options available for food in Barcelona. Once our local and very knowledgeable guide brought us to these places and we started eating and drinking, both my wife and I realized these places were special. We learned a lot about Barcelona cuisine, ate a wide variety of excellent food, and drank a nice selection of wine and vermouth. We also learned how to recognize some of the more classic Bodegas. The experience was great. Later on our trip, we saw other food tours around, but they were much larger (10-20 people). I really liked our intimate setting, where we actually sat and ate and drank with the "normal" customers, instead of being put in a separate room, like I saw the bigger tours do. It also gave us a lot of time to talk to our guide and ask lots of questions about the food and the region. It was excellent and I would do it again in a second.

Best tapas tour EVER! Our tour with Nuria was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. Not only did we sample some amazing local foods, but we also got an insiders prospective on the culture, history, and people of Barcelona. We sampled foods that we wouldn't normally order, and really enjoyed all of them. Not to mention the vermut! Nuria does a great job of figuring out what you like and caters the tour to your own, personal tastes. This was a very special experience! We look forward to our next trip to Barcelona and getting to know more local restaurants with Nuria.

We thought we had some great food for the first four days in Barcelona (and we did!), but as soon as we embarked on our 4 hour food tour with Nuria, we realized we were in for something quite special!
