GBSB Global Business School

I finished my master degree in Communication and future marketing and it was amazing experience. I must say that GBSB is a well qualified school and a very good chance to anyone who wants to travel abroad for developing his career path or to enhance his skills. The professors were professional as well as the administration team were very helpful and supportive.

I finished my master at GBSB in Communications and Future Marketing las June 2018.
In my opinion:
Great and Friendly environment. The teaching method is oriented to the practice which is great in order to be ready and well prepared for working. Most of teachers are skilled, comprehensive and friendly. All the classes and teachers have been crucial in order to allow me to find a job that I love. 100% recommended.

I studied the first year of my BBA at GBSB last year. It was my first time studying at university and my experience was in general positive with good professors, central location of the school and nice classmates. I did however decide to transfer after my first year because the school's Bachelor degree was not recognized by the government at the time.

I've been happy to study at GBSB.
The school is improving more and more and it is achieving higher levels every new term.
I would recommend it, especially for people looking to build strong basics in business topics, coming from a different background.

I love the diversity at school, students come from so many different countries and it is amazing to have friends from all over the world. The advantage of the school is to be small so everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is really friendly. The professors are all experienced people with real business knowledge. Definitely the best experience in Barcelona.

Global Business School Barcelona is a very good place to get Bachelor or Master Degree in English in Spain. I studied in GBSB at Master in Tourism and Hospitality Management and it was one of the best years in my life. I have recently worked as a freelance for GBSB and had a really positive experience with both the students and employees. The administration staff have all been really friendly and welcoming. Florencia has been wonderful to work with. Very professional and amiable school. It has been a pleasure working with GBSB and I hope to carry on working alongside them in the future.

From the very beginning of the application process the team was very supportive and provided me with the needed information about the program. During my studies, the academics department was always available and helpful and clarified my doubts once they arised. The only thing which i think should be improved is the career services. The students should have more tips on how to do a winning job interview.
Overall, my experience with the school was great! The school is truly global. I had classmates form all over the world and most of them are now my friends. I believe that the strongest side of the school is that most of the professors (who are also international) are practitioners who bring in the latest business developments to class. We also had really great visits to companies and truly experienced guest speakers. The program exceeded my expectations. It is not so easy to study here because the accreditaton of the school requires high standards, but at the same time it is very good to recognize that the level of the school is pretty high and the students have to make an effort to earn a degree. I am very thankful to the school for all the positive experiences and i wish GBSB Global further prosperity in its future endeavors!

I took my master degree ain International Business Management at Global Business School in Barcelona (GBSB) in 2014 and probably it was the best year in my student life (sorry, not only in student, but the whole life) From the moment when we had support starting from consulting on programs to the warmest welcome party, where we've met so many interesting people from different countries and became friends after and still keeping in touch. All of my classmates are doing great! Just as me! After my graduation, with my diploma from GBSB all doors were open to me like a book. All international companies where I was applying to, were very impressed by my education and with my good level of spanish! (within my master program I had spanish classes provided by the school and even though I had only one year of spanish classes, I began to understand spanish and even talk!). And what surprised me most is that some professionals were even recognizing some of my professors from GBSB, which made me very proud that I was taught by these professors)
Last, but not least, I think for every international student it's very important to be supported by school employees and know that you won't be left behind in case of anything. I was very impressed by support of the Head of Innovation and Development - Olga Ivanova. She is not only a professional, but one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life. The way she was ready to help students in any of their issues, not only according to their studies, but even in some life situations is just confirms the level of GBSB. Cause in my way of vision, the school is not only about programs, it's about people that work there.
Thanks to my education, I was invited to work at Nazarbayev University (considered as the best university in whole Kazakhstan) as a manager of International Cooperation Department. It was easy for me to join the team and become a good manager that works with international delegations coming from different countries. Well I think it's because of my communication skills that I gained from our classes "Doing business in USA, China, Latin America" and so on. One thing when you have theory classes, but the other thing is when you have this theory combined with practice, just like we had at GBSB. While I was writing this review, i remembered the whole year and my professors and caught myself in a thought: "why not take my MBA at GBSB? ": D

DO NOT STUDY AT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE
i studied here for 10 months and finished but the whole school is a big joke.in this awful place if you miss more than 2 lesson you have to pay 1000 € to study the whole course again! Also they always lie to the students applying to study there like free spanish courses [they are not free] not have to pay the tuition in the beginning [once you get accepted they will give you just 2 or 3 days to pay the 5000+ euro deposit] helping us get the NIE [their help is giving a link! ] and they dont know anything about the courses or timetables.they are just salespeople.everything they say is a lie.dont let them trick you.there is so many rediculous policies and rules they never tell the students about before they get there like compulsory attendance and messed up timetable.their policies favor failing the students to make them pay so much to retake the courses like even if you pass the exam and all the assignments there is a chance you will fail the whole course again this is absurd i never seen a school like this before.many students said many students fail every semester because the teachers dont know how to teach or because of really unfair grading systems and policies.the quality of classes are very low.we complained very much but the administration never listened to us.the dean Yelena is so stubborn and manipulative.she is in charge of everything and she hates everyone who dont think like her.she is very authoritarian.she must leave because no one in the school likes her.also most of the teachers dont know how to teach at all.some are very unprofessional and use f*** and s*** in class all the time.some even say they hate the school and the administration.overall horrible place even though it looks nice from the outside in the beginning.if you dont want to waste your money and time AVOID THIS NIGHTMARE CALLED GBSB

I finished my bachelor degree in GBS Barcelona. It was the best experience for me in terms of studies and work. I’ve met so many international students and amazing professors in different kind of spheres. Thank you GBSB!

I am a journalist from Barcelona and last year I was looking for a new direction on my career and decided to take the M. A on Fashion and luxury management. It was a great decision, I felt motivated to continue with my training and I am now pursuing a PhD in Communications. So much for GBSB and his faculty body. I totally recommend it!

In my opinion, you get what you paid for. 1 thing for sure, you will get to meet students from many nationalities. Now the school is changing, for better or worst i dont know, but so far i see they are improving and look more like a proper school.

GBS was a great experience for me starting as a student in MA in fashion and luxury mamgment, and its still does as its support students projects and hosting the annual conference BIT OF Fashion.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Global Business School. This is a small school, with a wide variety of subjects, which has a potential that it is realising year by year. Personally, I find the size of the school was favourable to having a tighter-knit community between the school, the students and teachers. A large positive point in my personal experience is the the flexible and open attitude of the school in having creative ideas and letting students bring their ideas to life! If this is the kind of experience you are looking for then this school can be for you! I believe the teachers are of an increasing standard and the theory is taught; some courses have some practical trips to businesses which is very helpful for learning. The practicality of the courses is still an area for improvement in my opinion, as is the organisation of the administration and the facilities of the school. Overall my experience has been largely positive for which I thank the students, teachers and staff of Global Business School.
