En general tuve una buena experiencia con Helphousing Barcelona. Cuando llegué encontré la habitación ordenada y la casa en sí tenía todo lo que necesitaba.
Lo único que se podría mejorar es la calefacción de la casa y el correcto funcionamiento del wifi de la casa, que no funcionó correctamente durante un par de semanas.
En conclusión puedo decir que pasé unos meses agradables en casa sin ningún tipo de problema en la ciudad de Barcelona.

Mi experiencia con la agencia fue agradable. El propietario siempre responde rápido y se asegura de que cualquier problema con el apartamento se solucione lo antes posible. Las habitaciones parecen en el sitio web. Pero debes tener en cuenta que si reservas para el invierno, la situación de la calefacción puede resultar complicada, ya que no hay calefacción aparte de pequeños radiadores en cada habitación. Además, te hacen pagar un depósito de un mes + una tarifa de servicio equivalente al mes de alquiler que no recuperas. Esto puede suponer una cantidad elevada a pagar de una vez, dependiendo del precio del alquiler. En general, buena experiencia.

Estuve muy contento con mi estancia en HelpHosing. Son un gran apoyo con su comunicación y la habitación y el apartamento eran tal como en las fotos. El único problema que tuve fue el moho en mi habitación debido a una fuga, pero lo solucionaron, lo cual estoy muy agradecido.

Tuve dificultades con esta "empresa". En primer lugar, cobran unos gastos administrativos desorbitados, en mi caso de casi 600 euros. Entiendo que estas empresas necesitan ganar dinero pero luego cobran una tarifa justa como lo hacen todas las demás empresas similares, en lugar de esta ridícula. Y luego te das cuenta de que helpBarcelona NO proporcionó toallas, almohadas, sábanas, perchas, secador de pelo, lavavajillas, cestos de ropa, cafetera. Otra empresa con la que he reservado en el pasado hizo todo esto por ni siquiera un tercio.de la tasa administrativa de helpBarcelona.

No sabía que estaban cobrando esto porque estaba escrito en muy pequeño y, por lo tanto, desafortunadamente lo leí. Cuando pedí, repetidamente, una explicación de esta cantidad disparatada, finalmente recibí una respuesta después de esperar mucho tiempo. Recibí una explicación con cosas muy básicas como el motivo de la tarifa del servicio (como preparar los contratos y "ayudar" a los estudiantes durante su estadía, cosas que no se acercan en absoluto a la tarifa que piden).

Además, cuando vivía en la casa parecía que a los vecinos no les gustaba vivir al lado de una casa de jóvenes/estudiantes. Intentaron deshacerse de las personas que vivían en la casa. La situación llegó tan lejos que en la casa casi hubo que susurrar en lugar de hablar para evitar quejas. La casa también fue acusada de dejar caer comida en el pasillo sin ninguna prueba.helpBarcelona no pareció elegir el lado de sus propios clientes que les pagan el alquiler, sino más bien el lado de los vecinos, y esto mientras arreglaban la casa ellos mismos y tenían que investigar adecuadamente sobre los vecinos/el vecindario antes de dejar entrar a la gente.

Me metí en esta telenovela el primer día de mi llegada al apartamento y parecía que helpBarcelona incluso echó a un inquilino del apartamento antes de que yo llegara (no puedo decir si esto fue justo o no, ya que todavía no estaba allí, pero dice cosas sobre cómo la empresa "resuelve" los problemas).

Para terminar con una nota positiva, afortunadamente el interno que hizo el contacto en persona fue muy amable y entendió muy bien la situación, lo que me salvó un poco de mi dura opinión. Sin embargo, en este momento probablemente ya no esté trabajando allí.

En resumen, si estás dispuesto a pasar por todas estas cosas o similares, entonces no te importa reservar con helpBarcelona, ​​especialmente si no te importa en absoluto tu dinero (te puedo recomendar infinitas cosas más divertidas que puedes hacer con el dinero en Barcelona también). Para mí, las actividades de helpBarcelona no parecen coincidir con su descripción de "empresa de servicios" como "hacer las cosas lo más fáciles y simples posible", pero en mi opinión es más bien una "empresa" estafadora basada en dinero que solo se preocupa por de ganar dinero y no del bienestar de la gente en absoluto. ¡Largo camino por recorrer!

J’ai loué un logement pour 6 mois a Barcelone. Le logement était fidèle aux photos et l’emplacement super.
L’agence, notamment Raquel, est très réactive en cas de soucis avec l’électroménager ou l’appartement en général.

One thing which sucks is that you have to pay a fee worth one month of rent which you will not get back, which can be quite expensive.

If something needs to be repaired in the house, etc.they make sure someone comes by quite rapidly, and they also respond to messages quickly!

You also need to bring your own bedsheets, etc.

Raquel, and Chessie are the best person who handle everything and problem for this housing!

Overall, I had a positive experience with the agency. Everything was well organized and reparations were made immediately after reporting and the cleaning service was a nice bonus. The fees in the beginning were really high however and some features of the flat were different to how it was presented online.

My apartment was great, clean, and modern. Help housing was very helpful and understanding and helped resolve any issues quickly and without trouble. Would highly recommend for exchange students.

Ho avuto una bellissima esperienza. Sono stata 6 mesi a Barcellona e in contatto con l’agenzia. La stanza era molto bella e luminosa e rispecchiava le immagini. La zona era ottima, molto centrale. Le ragazze sono state sempre disponibili quando avevo dei dubbi.

The apartment is on La Rambla, located in the centre of Barcelona (two minutes walking from Placa Catalunya) and is close to all the facilities that someone can ask for. Raquel has been super nice with me when I needed help. Nevertheless the apartment is not as it looks on the pictures, as my room was extremely small. Moreover, a part of two of the five rooms in the flat, there are no windows facing on the outside so there’s no natural light in the common areas and in three rooms. Also, there’s no living room. For sure Help Housing has better accommodation and, as I said, Raquel has been extremely professional when I needed her help, but for my experience I only recommend the apartment in which I stayed for the location.

The communication was good. The accommodation was nice, except there were no blankets. Something that I find a little inconvenient for a short stay room. Also the kitchen utilities like pots and pans were not very good to use. The apartment was also a little overpriced, but the service kind of made up for it. I would use helphousing again next time I need too.

Nice flat. Simple, but all necessary furniture. Everything that was broken was replaced fast. Easy check in and out at the start and end of stay.

They are trying to take as much money as they can from you, bad price-quality ratio. I did not have a good experience with the agency, people working there are nice but I would never rent from them again.

High prices, very bad communication specially this Alba the flat manager in Barcelona that offered me rooms on Facebook then kept reading my messages and ignoring me for 3 days and she was online all the time even though she knew I have an urgent situation and need an urgent response, I don't recommend dealing with this company at all.

My friends and I had a great stay in Barcelona. We stayed for about a month in one of their apartments.
The service from Help Barcelona was mediocre at best sometimes. For example we were not able to get into our apartment the first night, costs were booked to our account eventhough they could not be explained, or the fact that some furniture was faulty but never fixed during our stay, so we had to improvise.
Our contact person was very kind, but the service was sloppy at best.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Very bad experience.

Very high prices (the first month they will make you pay one month fees without telling you in advance) for super old and low quality apartments and rooms.

I had Internet problems (the worst!) all year and they did nothing after I told them many times. The bathroom is very old and continued to clog and flood.

They want you to notice with 2 months in advance if you want to end the contract but DURING THE PANDEMIC (April 2020) they sent me a text (not even a call!) saying I had one week to leave the apartment because the owner wanted to sell the property. I repeat: during a world pandemic they texted me (a foreign student who could not go back to its country due to the circumstances) I had to leave the apartment in 7 days. Can you believe it? I'm still shocked, you cannot imagine the stress. Write me for proofs or questions.

And the girls who work for the company SEEM very kind and helpful (mainly Bianca) but they are not. They just want to pursue their interests (money) with no sensibility or empathy.

Posso dire di avere avuto un'ottima esperienza con questa agenzia, con uno staff sempre pronto e disponibile, l'appartamento è stato all'altezza delle aspettative e in particolare la stanza molto spaziosa e luminosa.
Mi ritengo soddisfatto di questa esperienza e mi permetto di consigliarla per chiunque volesse approfittare di un soggiorno nel centro di Barcellona.

The room was too expensive for what it was. In the pictures the room looked as if it had decent illumination, turns out it was very dark the whole day. Cheaper accommodation that includes services can be easily found. Particularly, I stayed in carrer de la Portaferrisa, the only rooms that may be worth it are those with balconies, do not trust the pictures! Sound insulation is non-existent and rooms 1 and 2 are obviously artificially built to squeeze more money out of an otherwise decent flat that has no real ventilation unless the rooms with balconies have the door and window open. They also charged me services without the actual ticket and they based it on the previous tickets which were calculated based on previous consumption of 4-5 people when I was the only one left in the flat due to the pandemic. The admission fee is also ridiculous, one month rent.

I give 2 stars solely because the staff was always nice.

I can recommend booking an Apartment with HelpBarcelona. It was a very easy process and worked out well. When I arrived i didn't knew about the administration fee you have to pay, which is a lot of money but i didn't care too much about it. You sign the contract and off you go to your new apartment.

During my stay i had to switch apartments one time because there was mould in my room which was kind of a bummer! BUT they handled it nicely and i had a new room immediately.

You will always have a contact person for any concerns which is nice too.

I would recommend it.

I would definitely not recommend to book anything with help Barcelona at all.

There was no heating inside the apartment, just a tiny radiator. The room temperature in the apartment was 12 degrees in January.

The company is not responsive at all and mails concerning your problems won't be answered.

Be careful with their landlord admin fee, we ended up paying double the rent for one month. Additionally, they charged us half month's rent for one day, because we already got the keys on the 31st.

It was a great experience for me when I stayed in Barcelona, my flat manager was kind and helpful. If I will be visiting another city and there´s HelpBarcelona affiliates, I definitely would trust they have good services and join them. I would really suggest this place.

Helpbarcelona n’est pas du tout « affordable » comme ils le disent dans leur présentation; au contraire, ils profitent de toi et se font beaucoup d’argent en te faisant payer trop de frais!
J’ai habité avec 4 autres personnes à Roger de Flor:

-petite chambre de 9 m2 avec une fenêtre en verre opale. Aucune lumière du jour ne rentre dans la chambre, et quand tu ouvres la fenêtre, tu as vue sur la cuisine d’un autre appartement. Lorsque j’ai choisi la chambre en regardant les photos, on ne voyait pas qu’il ne s’agissait pas d’une vraie fenêtre!

-murs très fins, j’entendais TOUT ce que mes colocataires faisaient, aucune vie privée (j’entendais même le son d’un SMS de mon voisin)

- aucune fenêtre dans les espaces communs (seulement dans 2 autres chambres de mes colocataires), donc aucune lumière du jour, TRÈS DÉPRIMANT!

- le pire: loyer de 480€ (beaucoup trop pour cette chambre), frais de 500€ (je suis restée 2 mois et j’ai payé le même montant de frais que ceux qui sont restés 6 mois, ce qui n’est pas juste, le contraire de « affordable », ce qui signifie que Helpbarcelone profite de l’argent des étudiants Erasmus, ce qui est minable! ’

- j’ai payé une caution de 480€ au début. Ils m’ont retiré 73€ de cette caution pour les factures de gaz, d’électricité et d’eau, alors qu’une caution est censée être remboursée entièrement!

NE SIGNEZ PAS DE CONTRAT CHEZ HELPBARCELONA! C’est une arnaque!

Bad experience. They overcharge for their service, they do not answer to important emails (like when I asked for receipts), they are not remotely flexible and, basically, the feeling you get when you are dealing with them is that the only thing they care is money. I am really disappointed

La experiencia con help Barcelona ha sido perfecta, llegue a Barcelona en febrero y he contado con acompañamiento ya sea frente a los gastos, pagos con la agencia y con la información de la ciudad, he tenido alternativaz y atención cada vez que necesito ayuda telefonicamente o directamente en la oficina. Me han ayudado radicando documentos necesarios para vivir por 6 meses lo que facilita la residencia en otro país. Recomendado!

Piden una comisión muy alta y las mensualidades por habitaciones normales también son costosas, se aprovechan de tantos estudiantes que vienen a la ciudad.

I've been living in Barcelona for a little bit more than a month now, and I was able to find this room with a very short notice, as they have a vast catalogue at their website.

The apartment I am in is very well equipped and clean, and the flatmates are all very nice too.

I would highly recommend for those who need to find a home but don't have enough time or knowledge about what it takes to rent a place in Barcelona. And from what I have been looking over here, the price is quite fair, considering the benefits.

They will give you a very clear contract, along with instructions about everything. The best part is that you share an apartment, but you get to be very independent: you don't need to communicate with your flatmates about bills, rent, expenses, etc. Each person has their own stuff, their own room, their own key, their own space in the fridge/closet/bathroom cabinets/etc.

The girls who work at the office are also super nice and always ready to solve any problems. And they have a maintanence guy who is one of the nicest people I've met in Barcelona and who is always ready to fix any problem the house might have, like a broken washing machine or any other malfunction.

Highly recommended!
