Personal amables y atentos, tratamos con tres personas diferentes, pero muy buen trato los 3. Habitaciones compartidas limpias. Baño compartido limpio.

Me gustó todo estube 3 días los espacios de la publicidad son ciertos , cosina , que la próxima usaré. terraza , lugares para cargar móvil, buena recepción y las habitaciones que es importante , muy bien , se descansa muy bien . limpian muy bien hay buen ambiente y respetuoso todo el tiempo . me gusto la experiencia

El sitio está muy bien para lo que es, pasar la noche a precio asequible en el centro de Barcelona. Se duerme bien, sin ruido, y te dan mantas tanto finitas como gorditas para el frío. Las instalaciones están en buen estado y limpias.
Es verdad que hay que pagar la tasa turística de Barcelona al llegar, que no se avisa. Sale a 3'25 por persona, para que lo sepáis de antemano.
Por otro lado, aunque la gente que te atiende allí es muy simpática, es casi imposible contactar por teléfono. No lo cogen, y además si llamas al teléfono que pone en el correo de confirmación, te responde una señora que dice que la llaman siempre pero que no es ahí Jsjsjaka.
Pero eso, lo que es en sí la estancia está bien.

la peor experiencia en hospedaje de mi vida. me robaron mi telefono celular mientras me duchaba, 2 minutos y mi telefono ya no estaba. otro ¨huesped¨lo robo. lo vieron en las camaras. nadie me dio una solucion, como es posible que pase eso en un hostal? horrible

Fue una gran experiencia, bien ubicado. Felicitaciones por su excelente servicio de recepción.

Independientemente del alojamiento (normal, nada positivo a destacar), se produjo un conflicto injustificable con la recepción que fuimos incapaces de manejar dialogando y nos obligó a llamar a las fuerzas del orden.
La recepcionista no quería admitir la reserva que habíamos hecho (y habían cobrado) sin explicar el motivo, que tenía que tener algo que ver con la edad o la nacionalidad de la persona que reservó, puesto que todo era correcto.
Ante la actitud agresiva de esta recepcionista, sin conseguir que nos explicase el motivo y sin que nos facilitase tampoco el libro de reclamaciones, decidimos llamar a los Mossos d'Esquadra, que confirmaron que todo era correcto, que tenían que aceptar la reserva e incluso nos animaron a poner una denuncia. Aún no hemos decidido si lo haremos, porque eso no nos ahorrará el momento desagradable que vivimos.
Por este motivo, para ahorraros que vuestra estancia de Barcelona se inicie con mal sabor de boca, os recomendamos escoger otro alojamiento)

Fue el peor Hipstel que he visitado. La luz radiante estuvo encendida toda la noche sin posibilidad de apagarse. El sanitario era tacaño y sucio. La azotea y la ubicación eran geniales (la mejor de ese viaje en esa zona).
Por favor, chicos, más bien háganse un favor y visiten el Hipstel en Gracia. Allí son tan sociables y amigables.

Esta fue la peor noche de sueño que tuve en cualquier albergue. En primer lugar, los casilleros y las camas son tan ruidosas y chirriantes que incluso cuando las personas intentan estar calladas, hay muchos golpes. Solo había 1 baño para todo el piso (1 inodoro y 2 duchas para mujeres) y una de las duchas no tenía puerta. También olía mal a desagües. Finalmente, sé que esto no es culpa directa del albergue, pero las personas en mi habitación fueron muy irrespetuosas y me mantuvieron despierto toda la noche hablando a todo volumen hasta las 4 am. Un hombre me despertó y me pidió que me levantara de la cama a las 2: 30 porque se le cayó algo en la cama. La persona a mi lado estaba teniendo sexo y me desperté con dos personas en la cama a mi lado. Esto no sería culpa de los albergues, sin embargo, cuando me quejé del problema, dijeron que estaban al tanto de que estas personas se hospedaban aquí y que eran disruptivas y problemáticas.

El servicio fue amable y rápido. Las habitaciones estaban bien, solo menos una estrella por algunas camas que tenían casilleros demasiado pequeños para que cupiera una mochila grande y por no tener cortinas de privacidad en las camas. El área era agradable y lo suficientemente cerca de la estación de tren y del puerto para poder caminar.

Huele a muerto, disco toda la noche tan imposible dormir, lockers sin candados, al menos a mi me rechazaron tener uno. El baño está sucio y huele mal, también la presión del agua es baja. En general: un poco peor que los refugios para personas sin hogar

Este albergue es el peor lugar en el que me he alojado. Afirman tener una recepción las 24 horas para llamar al edificio a todas horas, pero no había nadie en la recepción para dejarnos entrar al edificio cuando llegamos al albergue después de una noche de fiesta. Tuvimos que abrir la puerta a la fuerza para entrar, y una vez que finalmente llegamos a nuestra habitación, encontramos que el hombre que se suponía que estaba trabajando en la recepción estaba dormido en mi cama. Estaba borracho y se negó a moverse hasta que lo sacaron físicamente de la cama. Adjunto una foto de este empleado.

Aparte de la horrible experiencia, las habitaciones y los baños también eran asquerosos. Todo está rayado y sucio, las sábanas están permanentemente manchadas y el aire acondicionado solo funciona la mitad del tiempo. No puedo enfatizar lo suficiente que este es un hostal HORRIBLE.

No te quedes aquí si te gustas tú mismo o si quieres disfrutar de Barcelona.

Buena ubicación, buen servicio. Baños comunes malos, demasiado pocos teniendo en cuenta que había uno por piso, solo 1 baño y 2 duchas en cada uno. Obtienes lo que pagas, el precio era barato.

Do not ever stay here unless you are desperate! This is the worst hostel in Barca that’s why it’s only listed on half the websites. The staff will steal your belongings then claim the cameras don’t work. Half of the doors to the room don’t lock!

¡En una ubicación muy conveniente! La gente aquí es muy cálida y acogedora. Me encantó quedarme aquí, ¡mi viaje en solitario fue más divertido porque pude conocer a otros viajeros solos! Tenían una cocina increíble. Los baños pueden estar bastante ocupados, pero descansar está bien

Es un hostal de tres plantas con terraza, cocina, baños, vamos lo típico. No está nada mal

Si tu plan es pasar una noche en Barcelona la localización está muy bien, buena calidad precio por una litera en habitación compartida con 10/12 personas. A decir verdad, la cama era más cómoda que la mía. Seguramente repita si alguna vez tengo que volver a Barcelona.

Nos fuimos la primera noche, no aguantamos lo malo de la estancia.

Cobran una supuesta tarifa de turismo al llevar, además de ser altísima es sin avisar.

Las habitaciones estaban desordenadas y olían muy mal (como a vomito) la suciedad y mal olor no permitían pasar una noche agradable, las literal parecían desarmarse cada vez que alguien se subía en ellas, sonaban demasiado y se movían al subirse.

Solo te dan una manta delgada para dormir con lo cual pasa frío toda la noche.

Al estar al lado de muchos bares el ruido es intenso todo el día y más durante las noches, es casi imposible conciliar el sueño.
Hay solamente un WC para 36 personas (3 habitaciones con 12 personas en cada una) los baños tienen hongos y ni ganas dan de ducharse.

La puerta de la habitación se abren sin llave, por lo que cualquier persona puede entrar con facilidad.

En las fotos todo se muestra lindo pero no es lo que parece, todo es viejo y lleno de suciedad. La terraza parece ser el lugar más agradable, pero tampoco.

Experiéncia horrorosa, todo lo que nos pasó aquella noche abrumadora no se lo deseamos a nadie

Calidad precio excelente, me sorprendió positivamente repetiré.
Se escucha un poco de ruido por la zona en que está situado nada que no se solucione con unos tapones pero la zona está amuy bien situada.

Chicos, cambien lugar a los aparatos del aire acondicionado que tengo la cama a 30 cm y me está echando aire fría en octubre sin parar!

À éviter.chambres étroites et sales. Climatisation absente, tics et punaises de lit. Le rooftop est une arnaque

Didn't enjoy the experience. As I booked for the Pentecost weekend, the demand for hostels in Barcelona skyrocketed as well as for the price. I only booked this one as it was the only hostel left when doing my research and the charged price was going way too far. This hostel worth no more than 15€ per night, but I had to booked it for 5 times higher.for a bed (without curtains!) in a 12-bed dormitory room, that's just over excessive! The place isn't clean, the lock of our door was half broken and the bathroom was smelly and so humid. I only knew when arriving that it was shared by the whole floor and not only by our room. Knowing that there were 5-6 rooms and that each might be similar to ours which has 12 beds, I let you do the math. Anyway, big lack of hygiene here.

Fortunately for me, I didn't have to sleep there as I found another hostel meanwhile (didn't get any refund of course), cheaper and so much better than this one, it's like night and day. It is called the Yeah Hostel which I totally recommend.

The reviews tell mostly the truth. Let me start with the perspective - me and my friends (a group of 25+ y.old) came to stay for 12 days for the Primavera festival. We didnt expect much, the reviews gave us proper vision of what the hostel might look like.
When it comes to positives - there were helpful good people among the staff. The kitchen was well equipped, and the floors were swiped and cleaned regularly. We were allowed to leave our stuff safely before checking in.
Now, the room we were living in was for 14 people (actually it was two rooms connected, the one in which we stayed had 4 bunk beds) was ok but not for a 12 day stay. The beds were wobbly and the mattresses causing back pains. The temperature inside the room almost non stop causing you to sweat (to the point where you were wet - top to bottom). AC in our room wasnt operating during our whole stay. To produce any airflow we were opening the windows which on the other hand caused increased noise (this wasn't the major problem for us since we came with noise stoppers for the festival, we didnt know how handy they will be during our sleep:) ) The main causes of noise were motorcycles, scooters and people partying in the bars nearby. (Again not a major problem for us)
A single "wardrobe" (its already an exaggeration) for 8 people and lockers that could not fit much inside. For the lockers you needed either your own lock or to buy one for around 2€ No place to leave your suitcase (which served as our wardrobe eventually) - they didnt fit under our beds. The beds in the room connected to our room had some additional lockers below the beds, but our beds didn't have such.
It was hard to fall asleep. Staying in the room caused you to cough and we have no idea from what but leaving the place helped immediately. Our guess is mixture of mold, dust, lack of fresh air and humidity.
There was one shower inside the bathroom on the 2nd floor that had mold all over the ceiling. The lock in the other was really problematic to work with. You needed to push very hard and bend it to lock the door to the shower room. The toilet was hard to stay in - the ventilation only worked together with the light inside the room and the light was turned on by the motion sensor. Additionally the vent was all covered in dust. On the positive side - the staff kept the bathroom well equipped all the time (toilet paper, paper towels).
My overall experience was not that bad but i got sick for the last couple of days and the illness only reinforced all the bad sides. It is impossible to get well inside this place.
To sum up - ok for a single day, 3 at most, cheap but messy, with a lot of room for improvement that doesnt need much work. Not a pleasant stay to say the least.

El albergue está situado en la parte central de Barcelona. Desde la estación para ir media hora. La vista desde el exterior es hermosa, y en el medio, como un albergue normal, se puede ver que las reparaciones se hicieron hace mucho tiempo. Hay taquillas para el equipaje en la habitación, pero de nuevo no me dieron una, no lo sé. Internet está ahí, pero tienes que sentarte en el pasillo, y en la habitación no te atrapa, te imaginas: son 40 euros por noche, eso es lo que significa ciudad cara, la calidad está cayendo y los precios están subiendo. No me gusto, que bueno que estoy solo por una noche, necesito ducharme y dormir. Nunca vi la cocina, no sé si está aquí, y la habitación no tiene mesa, ni siquiera una silla.

+ The location was good. It was easy to find and located near some restaurants and the main street of La Rambla.
+ The staff was excellent and very friendly. The staff and my interactions with them were the highlight of my stay. We even went out together one night. Vibes.
+/- I enjoyed the rooftop terrace but wasn't a fan of how early it closed.
+ Beds were comfy enough.
+ The facilities were clean and cleaned daily.

- On the day of checkout, the reception was supposed to open at 8. No one showed up until 8: 40 and this tardiness caused me to leave the hostel later than anticipated thus actually making me miss my flight out of Barcelona.
- laundry was still damp when it was given back to me
- wasn't the greatest place to meet other travelers.i was with my friend but idk if id recommend it to solo travelers.

Le personnel à perdu la moitié des affaires que je leur ai confié à laver. Aucunes excuses. J'ai du quitter Barcelone. Le personnel n'a pas voulu me compenser quand j'étais sur place sous prétexte que le manager n'était pas joignable. Ils m'ont assuré que le manager me contacterait dans la journée, cela fait plusieurs jours et je n'ai aucun retour. Déplorable.

Fuimos en navidad y el precio fue bastante alto. Las puertas son muy finitas y en el primer piso se escucha todo lo de afuera. El baño tenia mucho olor y muy poca agua caliente, solo por segundos. No hay servicio de limpieza, nos quedamos dos noches. El staff bueno nos proveyó de toallas q no habian, bolsas para la basura.

Menos 0, horrible, llegue ahí por que me servía la zona, pero la verdad creo que así es como se sienten los presos, baños sucios, un olor tenaz, cuando llegue pague 3 noches, pero a la media hora ya quería irme, no pegue el ojo en toda la noche, que lugar tan feo, nisiquiera me bañe ahí a la madrugada me fui al hotel que conozco más lejos pero excelente.

Nos fuimos tras la primera noche. Estuvimos en la habitación privada con baño. En el baño había moho y mucha falta de higiene.por no comentar que se escucha el timbre de la puerta constantemente (entra mucha gente extraña en el hostel) y se metia el olor de la cocina en la habitación. Tras un paseo por la ciudad vimos otras opciones de hostales más limpios y bonitos. Por cierto.no nos devolvieron el dinero.una vergüenza

Es el peor hostel donde me he quedado. No logré dormir en toda la noche porque había un viejo tosiendo todo el tiempo. Cero medidas COVID. Bajé a la recepción a decirles de la situación y su respuesta fue que yo hablara con el señor. La habitación olía terriblemente mal, que incluso cuando me la mostraron, el recepcionista dijo que tenía que subir algo para mejorar el olor y nunca lo hizo.

Las instalaciones son muy antiguas, las puertas no cierran por lo que cualquier persona puede entrar en la habitación. Las camas son nefastas, imposible dormir. Todo está sucio y con mal olor. El cuarto de baño huele a cañería y solo tiene un váter para todas las mujeres del albergue. Recomiendo firmemente pagar más cantidad de dinero y al menos poder dormir. El peor albergue al que he ido en mi vida, las condiciones que encuentras aquí habiendo pagado mínimo 17€ son infames.

Para no ir. Me cobraron como 2 semanas antes de lo acordado y luego no lo devuelven. Booking tampoco hace mucho por ayudar.

L’endroit a l’extérieur est très joli, mais avez vous présent les pub de mcdo?
L’intérieur est sal, il y a un odeur désagréable dans les chambres, et les toilettes sont dans un état terrible.
Vers 1h du matin on a eu la chance d’avoir en face un mec de l’hostel, dans la chambre dédiée aux filles, en disant que nôtres lits était déjà réservée et qu’on devais partir; malgré on était arrivée à 14h

Un plaisir

Initially we were 4 people in a mixed dormitory. The dormitory was very small and everyone had their belongings thrown down, you could not even pass. No one was wearing a mask anywhere in the accommodation. There were three more beds available while we had a prepaid reservation for 4 people and the manager of the accommodation was trying at the last minute to find us and clean a bed. The bathroom was extremely dirty and there was no paper in the toilets! Totally disgusting. For sure, they don't know the word hygiene. Finally, we didn't even stay there, luckily we found another hotel and spent the night there. I do not recommend it.

The only good thing wa the location

I love this hostel so much! I've living here for more than a month and I am so greatfull. It's the best place to be with Covid too;You don't never get bored, there's new people comimg all the time

That's my story here. I am in charge of one hostel in Barcelona. We had a overbooking, and I gentle booked this hostel for our guest. However, at the moment of the reservation, some system error happened, and the reservation had booked twice. I contacted the Hipstel and explained the situation, and asked for they charge just one reservation at my credit card, because there was no meaning for a booked two beds for the same person. And the answer of the manager it was "no exceptions". So, even I proved that it was a mistake, they charged me twice for only one guest that stayed only one night.

Maybe that's the reason my hostel is 9.2 from 1.116 comments against them, that are 8.7 from 758 comments.

No se merece ni 1 estrella, qué pena qué un cero no se pueda poner. Dejan hacer reservas en la madrugada y después no dejan entrar.

OMG, never in my life have I experienced anything like this before. Dirty, no action regarding Covid 19, it was a techno party all night in the kitchen, which is right next to the reception and celebrated in a dear volume, that I seriously wonder if anybody cares about sleeping guests? All of course without masks and completely inconsiderate. I have never experienced such a blatant case. Never again can I advise nobody to go there. In the double room the bathroom was totally mouldy.nunca en mi vida he experimentado algo como esto. Sucio, no hay acción con respecto a Covid 19, hubo una fiesta tecno toda la noche en la cocina, que está justo al lado de la recepción y se celebró a tal volumen que me pregunto seriamente si a alguien le importan los invitados que duermen? Por supuesto, sin máscaras y completamente desconsiderado. Nunca he experimentado un caso tan flagrante. Nunca más puedo aconsejar a nadie que vaya allí. En la habitación doble el baño estaba totalmente enmohecido.

A very nice stay! The hostel is like no other, every day, there's a new group activity set up by the staff and a chance for you to meet new people staying within your hostel.

They even get a nighttime activity planned, which includes visiting landmarks and nights out with free entry into popular clubs included within your stay.

Worst hostel Ive visited ever, the staff was also smoking weed and had lost my booking when I arrived in the middle of the night

Staff was rude and offensive when turning my Mum and I away at 11pm when we had booked 4 months previous and had sent in passport photos of both. We arrived tired and ready to go to bed before beginning our Barcelona getaway but instead walked in to check in and the first things said were, "what age are you? You do realize there is an age limit of 36". My mum, a youthful looking late 40s was a bit taken aback and hurt by this. It ruined her mood and we were told to fill find somewhere else to stay even though we were due for that time and it being so late no exception was made. It was handled poorly and I didn't even receive a full refund. Wouldn't recommend this particular place.

Must stay place if you go to Barcelona! Lovely staff with a fun and party vibe + free tours everyday! What’s not to love!

First time at a hostel and this was a very good start! Very cheap prices and you pay for what you get in terms of bunks but the experience and hospitality was priceless. All the staff were so welcoming and so great! They serve a family dinner every night and try their best to include everyone (very helpful if you’re a solo traveller). They also do group activities everyday and there’s something for everyone.

In terms of cleanliness I was also very surprised and impressed, for what we paid I didn’t expect much, but was impressed. They cleaned the common areas and washrooms all the time. If it was messy or gross it was definitely because of other guests staying not cleaning up after themselves. Every morning is was nice to go have a shower in a clean looking and smelling washroom.

Everyone staying was also really nice and it’s very easy to make friends. Very social hostel, while it may not be for everyone, still a great place. Would say a party hostel but that wasn’t an issue for us. If we didn’t want to go out we just didn’t and it got pretty quiet after 11PM. All in all very happy we chose Hostel One Hipstel

I've liked it a lot, they're chill and nice people. They don't look to make problems on you or bother your great time, I had a really cool experience by being here, it also allows people to be friendly between each other, they hang out sometimes with other people who's also staying at the place. You can get to know so many people that's impressive, I definitely liked it

Great experience. Cleaning was on point (everyday). Bathroom/shower was crazy clean! One day I didn't have hot water for a shower, no biggie though. The key is to shower at non-peak times! I am a night owl so would shower around 3 am and always hot water (might have to wait a bit for hot h2o to kick in). Shower very early or very late and you'll get very hot water.

I would recommend earplugs and sleeping masks to block sound and light, as people are coming in and out of the rooms and our room held 14 people atleast.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You can buy cheap wine and beer at the Hostel, just ask the staff. Group activities every day and group dinner (just pay a donation!)

Very social hostel!

Tenía reservadas y pagadas dos camas y me encontré a las 11 de la noche con que no me podía quedar porque tiene un límite de edad (que aparece en las condiciones en una línea que no se aprecia). Finalmente, a petición mía, contactaron con el operador para que me devolviese el dinero, porque en principio también me decían que lo arreglase yo.un despropósito total, no lo recomiendo

Great hostel couldn't reccomend more. Very friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. Great location I personally had a great time.

A hospedagem está muito bem localizada, alguns quartos são melhores que outros, pois o que fiquei no primeiro momento, quando teria só uma diária (pq ia para outro lugar depois) não era bom. O segundo quarto onde passei mais diárias era mais bem organizado.
Minha queixa é com relação ao banheiro, que é pouco para a quantidade de hóspedes (embora o fluxo não tenha me feito esperar nenhuma vez) e é externo ao quarto.

La comida comunitaria en las noches, las salidas todos los días a los lugares emblemáticos de barcelona, las salidas a bares y discotecas, hacen que se pase bueno en este hostal.

El hostel, sus empleados y la ubicación está genial. Lo único para observar es q aveces cuesta graduar para que salga el agua caliente para darse una ducha
