Hostel One Paralelo

¡Excelente ubicación y vibraciones en general! OneFam es una buena opción, especialmente si quieres conocer otras personas y tener opciones a través del albergue. El personal es amable, acogedor y divertido. Las literas son cómodas y tienen una cortina para mayor privacidad, pero en general es un espacio MUY estrecho, por lo que, en mi opinión, esta es una mejor opción para una estadía de solo unas pocas noches.

¡Realmente disfruté de mi estancia aquí! Eoin fue súper acogedor cuando llegué y me hizo sentir como en casa de inmediato ¡ideal para personas que viajan solas, ya que es muy fácil conocer gente nueva en los recorridos a pie diarios y las cenas familiares! ¡Pasé unas noches geniales, gracias a las buenas vibraciones del personal Jade, Bella, Gigi, Kim y Anna! La cama era cómoda (el estilo cápsula era genial para la privacidad) y buenas duchas. Ambiente social pero relajado donde puedes disfrutar de un sueño reparador. ¡Definitivamente regresaré!

Increíble ubicación, muy cerca de la estación de metro. Los voluntarios y los tres recepcionistas principales fueron absolutamente increíbles. Cuidó muy bien a todos los invitados con cenas vegetarianas de estilo familiar todas las noches, juegos para beber y discotecas todas las noches con entrada gratuita a todos los clubes patrocinados. Recomiendo encarecidamente asistir al juego de beber y a la cena familiar antes del juego y conocer a otros viajeros, ya que los clubes son un poco caros como lugar de encuentro para los turistas. El costo puede ser más caro que el de otros albergues de la zona, pero el servicio al cliente, la ubicación, la comida y el personal hacen que valga la pena.

Lo pasé muy bien aquí. El personal súper genial crea un ambiente muy agradable y una atmósfera de gente súper relajada, siempre me sentí muy comunitario y conocer gente es muy fácil. Todos respetuosos con las personas que duermen también. Las mejores literas en las que me he alojado en cualquier albergue y todo muy limpio. Gran espacio común. Las reuniones diarias con otros albergues OneFam en la ciudad significan que ves caras familiares todos los días cuando asistes a actividades grupales y salidas nocturnas.

¡Absolutamente increíble albergue! El personal fue increíble, las habitaciones eran pequeñas pero cómodas (colchón y almohada excelentes), los baños estaban limpios, las áreas comunes eran increíblemente acogedoras y los demás huéspedes fueron increíbles. Es muy social pero también muy saludable, perfecto para viajeros solitarios que buscan conocer gente y explorar la vida nocturna. Súper amigable LGBTQI+. ¡Y una ubicación perfecta encima de todo!

¡El mejor albergue en el que me he alojado! Todo el personal fue muy amable y servicial. Sus actividades crearon un ambiente muy social y divertido. ¡La noche que tuvimos estuvo especialmente bien organizada y muy divertida! Las instalaciones eran estupendas y tenían todos los detalles útiles que pudieras desear. ¡100% recomendado!

¡Todos fueron muy amables! Irene, Rainbow, Anna, todo el equipo fue increíble. Me hizo sentir muy bienvenido. Todos fueron súper amables y se aseguraron de que mi experiencia fuera fantástica. La primera vez en un lugar hostil, al principio estaba nervioso, pero después de conocer al personal y a los invitados me di cuenta de que no había necesidad de estar nervioso.

Una ubicación preciosa, unos huéspedes encantadores y un personal increíble. Tuve una estadía muy agradable allí y definitivamente lo recomendaría si quieres tener una estadía extraña, loca pero increíble. Conocerás a mucha gente diferente y festejarás mucho. Harán todo lo posible para que su estancia sea lo más agradable posible.

El albergue estaba lleno de viajeros de todo el mundo, todos tenían la mente abierta y estaban listos para pasar un buen rato juntos. ¡Tuvimos un montón de diversión! Es el hostel perfecto si viajas solo para conocer gente y hacer diferentes actividades.

Además, el personal cocinaba todas las noches para todas las personas del albergue y siempre estaba abierto a conversar. Gran servicio!

Es un buen lugar para quedarse, Héctor en la recepción es muy acogedor y todos hacen un gran esfuerzo para que se sienta incluido.

Solo puedo recomendar quedarse aquí, es muy divertido y una excelente manera de experimentar la ciudad. Isabella, Clarissa y Luisa fueron increíbles, organizaron agradables veladas y actividades diurnas para todo el grupo, por lo que es imposible aburrirse si te quedas aquí.

El sábado 22 de abril reservamos con mi marido una habitación y al llegar allí y después de entregarnos la llave nos pidieron nuevamente el documento para verificar algo, nos dijo el recepcionista, en ese momento nos dijo que tenía que cancelar la reserva, pues era política de la empresa hospedar a personas mayores de 45 años. No lo podíamos creer

I stayed there for 3 nights in a mixed-dorm. The people and also the staff I met were amazing. The staff was always keen in helping out whereever they could - special thanks go to Emma, Ali, Yanis, Vanessa and Eoin - thanks for the great experience ;)

Staying at Hostal One Paralelo in Barcelona was an amazing experience. The dorm rooms were clean and the staff was incredibly hospitable and friendly. The bunk beds were like individual capsules, providing privacy and comfort. Not to mention all of the complimentary amenities and activities included with the stay. I had always been hesitant to sleep in a dorm, but I'm so glad I chose to stay here - it was worth every euro!

This place is perfect & If I could give six stars I would. The hostel itself is extremely clean, very well run & so fun! It gives you all the opportunities to meet new people with their daily/nightly activities & it’s safe to say I came away with some great friends that I’ll visit in my future travels. The only downside to my experience was having to leave all of the friends I made with the staff volunteers. Every single one of them made my 10 days in Barcelona that much more special. And just because there’s no character limit on this review, I’m going to shout out the staff volunteers that were the heartbeat of Hostel One Paralelo.

I had such a fab time at Hostel One! Def a great place for a younger solo traveler who is looking for some organized day/tourist activities and a crew to go out with at night. The staff was incredible every single day—Amelia, Gabriel, Eoin—my stay wouldn’t have been as awesome without them ️

I don't even know where to start. I went on a week long trip with the intention of getting out of my comfort zone and having a new experience. I expected Barcelona and its heritage sites to be the highlight of my trip, and don't let me undersell them because they were amazing. But the real highlight was the people I met and connections I made because of this hostel and specifically its staff. Amelia greeted me at the desk with such genuine excitement as if I were an old friend and continued to make me feel as such throughout my time there. Juani, Seamie, Irene, Louis and Mar guided me on some amazing nights out (with free club access for staying there). But it wasn't just going out and clubbing, we got to go to a Paella experience, cultural tours, and share about ourselves and our backgrounds at family dinners (Anna makes a mean pasta dish). I'm so grateful for my time there and my only regret is that I didn't stay there longer. Love you Hostel One fam?

First time solo traveling and in a hostel, I feel like my expectations for the next hostels will be so high. Don't worry if you're introvert, your english skills are bad or not very interested in the night life (like me), there are plenty of activities to do, new wonderful people to meet without any effort, from the same hostel or other Hostels One. The hostel is very clean and pretty when I was there, I stayed for six days and it was a perfect vacation. Special thanks to Nora and the staff, they do a fantastic job, super kind and helpful.

Super fun stay with a vibrant staff and an immediate sense of community when you enter the hostel. They organize so many events (tours, going to bars/clubs, free dinners + sangria) which made for an extremely enjoyable experience! Definitely veered toward a younger crowd (18-25 as the primary demographic) but there were also some older working professionals as well, mid-30s. The privacy curtains for each of the bunk beds made it a lot easier to sleep despite sharing the room with five other people. Would highly recommend for anybody looking to meet fellow travelers and explore the nightlife that Barcelona has to offer.

This was the best hostel ever! The staff, particularly the manager, were incredibly welcoming and kind. I was traveling alone and it was wonderful to have this community. Not only was the community wonderful, the rooms were clean and the bunks were very nice. I miss this place!

This is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily and the location was perfect. There are daily excursions and communal meals all organised FOR FREE, as well as drinking games, bar and club entrances all included in your wristband. A special shout out to the incredible staff here who made sure my whole experience is one I'll never forget, you're all fantastic! I can't wait to come back soon!

Outstanding social experience. You can spend your whole trip with the hostel because they have activities around Barcelona day and night.

What an amazing experience! My favourite hostel. Daily group outings to some beautiful spots, and by night there were drinking games, bars and clubs included with the hostel wristband. Met so many awesome people. Big shout out and thank you to all their lovely staff for looking after us and making it such a fun time!

My experience at Hostel One Paralelo was great! The pod-like style of beds were convenient, the staff were friendly, and the people traveling through were so cool and friendly. This hostel does a great job at organizing activities and makes you feel welcomed and at home.

The amazing staff are the friendliest people you'll ever meet! Great daily activities for meeting fellow travelers. I stayed in a shared dorm, and my bed area was quite spacious and had a privacy curtain. Great access to the metro too is a plus!

Went solo traveling for five nights in Barcelona and this hostel was perfect for my trip. The rooms were clean, comfy beds, curtains for more privacy and light next to your bed. I met so many cool, open-minded people from all over the world. Loved their free dinner and the staff members were always helping out with whatever you needed. I will definitely come stay there again on my next Barcelona. Big recommendation!

Just got home after an amazing stay at HostelOne Paralelo in Barcelona. Best hostel to stay for a female! I felt welcomed and completely safe while with my new family. After dinner, we all went out together to bars and clubs. Need to add stars ****. Def the best hostel!

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this hostel and it’s staff are. From the moment I arrived until the minute I left you’re made to feel like part of a family. The rooms are lovely, the beds comfortable and you even have a little privacy curtain on your bed and a reading lamp inside. The whole hostel is very clean and the bathrooms and kitchen are great. The staff have activities on every day like beach trips and walking tours and at night there is free dinner, free sangria some nights and then every night the group all get together to go to a bar and then onto a club and it changes different places every day through the week. The staff always try and include you and it’s so good because you know the option is always there to spend time with people if you want to but the option is also there to have alone time too. I met some amazing people during my stay. I’ve stayed in hostels before but this was the first time I had solo travelled and I had been worried about feeling a bit alone but even when I was alone I didn’t feel lonely because I knew there was always people to talk to around. I really don’t feel like any hostels I stay in in the future will ever match up to Hostel One Paralelo now! It really is the best! Thank you so much Jan, Anna, Agnes, Rose, Mauro, Sara, Sofia, Carmen and Caroline and to anyone I might have forgotten! Yous truly are the best!?

Best hostel I ever stayed in. Perfect atmosphere and you will meet a bunch of nice people every single day.

I rang to the Barcelona one and they could not speaking Spanish/Catalan to take a booking! Imagine that you will ring to one in the UK and they are not able to attend to you in English! You ask if they have any bed free and the person picking up the phone says are fully book and he redirected to me to have a look into the website. Ridiculous!

I had a super nice stay at the hostel: the staff is amazing, the hostel is clean and I loved the free sangria and family dinners!

I could not give this hostel a high enough rating! 100000/5! The staff are incredibly friendly and treat you like family, and it’s amazing that such an affordable place provides walking tours, dinner, and going out together. I made great friends with other travelers here. If you are going to Barcelona alone, stay here!

Would give this hostel 6 stars if I could. I travelled solo during covid and absolutely loved it. It’s a party hostel, so you’re bound to make friends on one of their free daily events - a city walk, family dinner/sangria tasting, or nightclub crawl when I was there. I immediately felt welcomed by the staff/volunteers as well - Sara and Caroline and Conrad are all angels. Great clean rooms and in a safe location as well, if covid/suburb are of concern. I cannot wait to come back!

A 10/10 experience! The best and only way to travel Europe. This hostel is a great price considering you get free day tours, free dinner, free cover at clubs all with a comfortable pod-style bed and extremely clean bathrooms. The best asset though is certainly the people, all of whom are incredibly friendly beyond compare and are lively at all times, even when it's the morning after a long night. Great for groups and solo travelers alike! Second time at Hostel One and not the last!

Exceptional hosts, amazing guests, super clean and in a great location! Hostel One really went above and beyond in making sure I and everyone staying with them had memories to last a lifetime! I would recommend 1000% and will definitely be coming back in the future.

The area is pretty bad, but after 3-5 minute walk you will find yourself in the touristic area of istanbul. Bedrooms are nice, but bathrooms are terrible. Breakfast is good

Very good atmosphere and colorful activities. Location wise is also good, quite close to the metro station and heading off to airport at night is a breeze with the night bus stops near the metro station.

Localização boa, perto de estação de metrô, pessoal que trabalha também muitos atenciosos, possuem vários quartos em grupos a com banheiro coletivo.

Mi novio y yo nos quedamos el fin de semana allí. Fuimos atendidos de forma EXCELENTE, el staff y los voluntarios son increíbles, muy amables y divertidos. En el hostel se crea muy bien ambiente, las cenas son muy divertidas y tienes la oportunidad de conocer a los otros guests.
Es un Hostel muy limpio, los baños siempre estaban limpios y los guests muy respetuosos.

Loved this hostel! From the minute I walked in to check in, I felt like I was at home. They greeted us with a free dinner and accommodated us very nicely. The free group pub crawls every night are amazing. The great family like atmosphere in the hostel with all the guests is what I love the most about this hostel. The rooms are not the best, but really, you barely stay in your room, so its chill

Super friendly and social hostel. They do both day and night activities so you can both get to know the town in the daytime, and go to the bars and clubs by nighttime. There is a receptionist there 24/7 which is great. Mostly a bit older crowd than the usual party going, hostel hopping crowd. Maybe between 22 and 35 years old. Good mix of people.

Loved this hostel. It's smaller so you get to meet the majority of everyone there. I didn't understand the appeal of smaller hostels until I stayed here. The free dinner is a great way to meet people, and afterwards you hang around and go out to bars and clubs.

The staff and volunteers were also really chill and definitely helped making my hostel a fun experience.

And I really liked the beds and covers. The top bunks aren't loud and awkward like other hostels.

Une auberge aux p'tits oignons! On vous accueille comme à la maison! Les chambres sont bien équipées: chacun a son ptit coin avec rideau pour plus d'intimité, lampe de chevet, prise et casier! On peut faire des visites en groupe, on s'occupe de vous le soir: dîner simple mais très bon, jeux de boissons, sorties en bar et en boite. Je suis partie seule et j'ai vite parlé à beaucoup de gens, aux clients comme au personnel très sympa et très à l'écoute de vos besoins! Je conseille vivement!
