Hotel El Call

Realmente no recomiendo este hotel, es un desastre! ¡Mis cosas sucias que estaban en una bolsa en el bote de basura del baño, fueron arrojadas a la basura por las señoras de la limpieza! ¡Las particiones son súper delgadas, parece que el vecino está en tu casa!

Disfruta de tu estancia en Barcelona en el hotel El Call. El hotel está muy bien ubicado en el Barrio Gótico lo que te permite hacer mucho a pie. La bienvenida es muy agradable con amables recepcionistas. También es posible dejar tu equipaje gratis el resto del día mientras esperas tu vuelo, lo cual es un plus. El dormitorio y el baño están bien, desafortunadamente no hay ventanas reales, así que hay luz artificial, pero si vas allí principalmente para dormir, no es un problema. La habitación tiene caja fuerte y la limpieza se hace allí todos los días si lo deseas. Buena relación calidad-precio!

Muy bien diseñado para un hotel de 1 estrella, excelente ubicación, tranquilo por la noche. Sin embargo, las camas eran demasiado duras para mí, lo que más me molestaba era que no se podía regular la temperatura de la habitación, estaba controlada centralmente y siempre había aire frío, aunque afuera ni siquiera hacía calor. Tenía mucho frío a pesar de una manta (que tienes que pedir primero) y una chaqueta polar. Sin embargo, si te gusta el frío y la dureza, hay un buen hotel pequeño.

Incluso una estrella es demasiado.
A mi llegada, los hombres de la recepción estaban haciendo este tipo de comentarios groseros sobre mi equipaje demasiado pesado.
Luego conseguí una habitación individual, sin ventanas, al lado del ascensor. Había trabajadores de la construcción trabajando temprano en la mañana.
Los matras eran demasiado duros, las almohadas eran delgadas y las manchas en las paredes estaban sucias. El dormitorio tenía una sábana delgada, que estaba demasiado fría. Así que agarré la sábana extra, que no se ha lavado en al menos un año.
Y cuando me fui, no me preguntaron cómo fue mi estadía.
Mi consejo para ti: si te gusta cualquier forma de comodidad, lujo, limpieza o buen ambiente; no te quedes aqui!
Y aunque la ubicación era buena, es difícil llegar en taxi.

No sé por donde empezar a contar mi nefasta experiencia. Las camas no podían ser más duras, como dormir en el suelo, imposible lavarme el pelo en 4 días ya que la presión era tan poca que ni se podía lavar el cuerpo. Además llegamos por la noche que llegamos al entrar la habitación estaba libre y gracias a que una persona no se había presentado y pudieron cambiarmela que si no el recepcionista se ofreció a limpiarla. Imposible dormir con el ruido. Tanto de la calle como de los pasillos, las paredes son de papel. Y la zona por la noche bastante insegura. Nada recomendable.

El hotel no es bueno, mucho ruido en las habitaciones y dentro del hotel durante toda la noche. Mal servicio en recepción. Malas camas. Malas almohadas. Toallas viejas, finas y pequeñas. Habitación pequeña con apenas suficiente espacio para equipaje.

Single room with window solo traveller - It was like a small studio the room. It was clean and comfy. Bathroom clean. All I wanted was a clean, comfy and secure room and this hotel provided this. Only downside is no kettle or fridge in the room. Location and staff were great. I paid I really great price for the room.

Bon service: le personnel est rapide et gentil.

Chambre sympa mais les murs sont très fins, problème avec la douche. Grand plus: elles sont nettoyées proprement.

Les baggages sont gardés gratuitement avant le check in et après le check out.

Pour le distributeur d'eau, pourquoi faire payer bouteille? Les gains doivent être minimes.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Habitación individual con ventana para personas que viajan solas: la habitación era como un pequeño estudio. Estaba limpio y cómodo. Baño limpio. Todo lo que quería era una habitación limpia, cómoda y segura y este hotel me la proporcionó. El único inconveniente es que no hay hervidor ni nevera en la habitación. La ubicación y el personal fueron geniales. Pagué un precio realmente bueno por la habitación.

We booked 2 beds room but we got a room with 4 beds as last left!
No soap and the sink is clogged.

Olor a caño y húmedo. Personal muy amable (recepción). Las fotos hacen una falsa ilusión de como es en realidad. Pelos en la cama, mala limpieza. Ruidoso y la cortina exterior no baja. Camas viejas. A/C no funcionaba. Nuevo lavabo, escusado y regadera aunque la puerta del baño no cierra. Un hotel de paso. No lo recomiendo

Great location with small but clean rooms. Unfortunately during our stay there was a power cut that left the hotel without light for 24 hours and more. We witnessed the staff left alone to deal with the issue without any help from the senior management to solve it and offer a reasonable option to their customers. After one night spent with no light and no hot water either, we asked for a new place to be booked as that service was not acceptable. One receptionist had told us that they would find another hotel for us and book a cab for us to get there; when this one finished his shift the other one said that they could not accomodate us in the area and it would probably be outside of Barcelona. Then we looked for an alternative ourselves and found a hotel at a walking distance and lower price within 5 minutes of trying. This clearly shows they had no interest in helping their customers and were just hoping we would give up and stay there.

L’albergo è a 1 stella senza pretese ma è caratteristico e in posizione fantastica nel quartiere gotico, a 5 minuti a piedi dalle Ramblas e da Plaza Reial.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are nothing extraordinary but they do the job if you are planning to be there to sleep only

Es un pequeño hotel con una ubicación genial. Todo el personal ha sido muy amable. Está decorado con gusto, las habitaciones están bien, como pega decir que tiene la ventana de la habitación muy pequeña y la ducha tiene poca presión. Me parece ideal para quedarse si tu idea es simplemente ir a dormir y estar cerca de todo. Volvería en otra ocasión!

Great stay, the room itself is a little on the basic side but very clean. Every staff member we met was brilliant and the desk being 24 hour maned made it very secure (every guest was buzzed in by reception). The room was very quiet both at night and in the morning. A bit expensive but that is expected with the location.

Probably the worst hotel in Barcelona. They charged my card twice and items were stolen from my room. Complete squalor. Avoid!

Great place right in the middle of Gothic District. Clean and quiet. Some people will say that rooms without windows are bad, however that is of personal liking. No windows means it is quiet and dark inside and you sleep as a baby:)

There is not one of the most trash hotels, and the hotel staff even steal things! Half of the ham we brought from other places was stolen by the hotel staff! No one is willing to solve the problem after asking them. The hotel manager said that we have not signed any agreement, so we are not responsible for it! I have nothing to say, just feed the dogs as these hams!

La ubicación es perfecta, en el centro del barrio gótico. Cerca de todo. La habitación cuenta con lo indispensable y muy cómoda. El hotel tiene ascensor y no cuenta con servicio de desayuno.

Schönes kleines Zimmer, das Zimmer war sauber und auch das ganze Hotel hat einen ordentlichen und sehr sauberen Eindruck gemacht. Das Bad war etwas eng für meine Körpergröße (192 cm), aber das konnte man ja vorher nicht wissen.

Chambre petite, odeur dans la salle de bain, bruit dans le couloir des 8h30, dont échange de talkie walkie (très désagréable comme réveil). Le prix est bas, mais la qualité aussi.

The location is amazing! And the colors of the place are really nice, quite hype. It is generally clean and I would say an OK price.
The pillows are basically non existent, we had to ask for more (they did give to us). The shower was not good, the head was already quite old and there was no water pressure.
The toilet was in such a weird placement that you could not sit straight, only with the legs to the side.
As a point we had, the room was very close to the elevator and we always heard when somebody came in or out. Besides that it was relatively quiet.
The windows don't open, they only are half opened and with a wall around it. Basically you can only get fresh air through this small hole on a wall. The windows of the bathroom are also right on the side of the room windows. In this case for us, somebody used the toilet in the mornings and nights and the smell came to our room, making unbearable to be able to stay inside. Bad luck that the person dropped such a bomb, but never expected to smell it all, without being able to do anything.

Las camas muy cómodas y la ubicación muy buena (pero no se puede acceder en coche), por el resto nada. Muy pequeñas las habitaciones, tanto que te toca hacer tus cosas de lado porque poco más y el retrete sale directamente de la puerta del lavamanos. La ducha no er muy buena y me encontré un curiosa araña dentro de la misma cuando me agaché a por el gel (que no tiene bandeja para apoyarlo).

En muy buena ubicación. Relación calidad precio de lo mejor. Buen atendimiento. Habitaciones limpias. Lo único que me falta para dar cinco estrellas es que la cama nos resultó bastante incómoda como para para pasar más de dos noches seguidas. Por lo demás, todo muy bien.

Es un hotel funcional, lo justo para ir a dormir después de pasear por Barcelona. Esta muy bien ubicado en pleno Gótico, por lo que da para ir paseando a casi todas partes. La decoración es agradable y el hilo musical de la recepción está está escogido con mucho gusto. Es destacable la amabilidad por parte de todos los trabajadores del hotel y se toman en serio la limpieza, cada día nos dejaban el cuarto impecable. Tienen máquina de café e infusiones y un bote con caramelos (saben cómo ganarme) no le doy cinco estrellas porque la habitación no tenía luz natural y la cama era un poco dura para mi gusto, pero volvería sin dudarlo.

Hotel consigliatissimo a coppie di giovani o gruppi di amici sia per posizione strategica al centro di Barcellona sia per la vicinanza alle metro, le camere non sono enormi ma grandi il giusto per appoggiarsi per dormire e lavarsi, unica pecca è la dislocazione di alcune di esse vicino al locale caldaie. Tutta la notte sembra che passi lo spazzino a pulire le strade. Non è un rumore che impedisce comunque un buon riposo. La pulizia è ottima e il personale gentilissimo, nonostante non si parli la stessa lingua. Ah. Se avete il sonno leggero o vi da fastidio sentire il chiacchiericcio delle persone nelle altre camere non è l'Hotel che fa per voi. Noi che siamo impiccioni ci siamo fatti un sacco di risate!

For a 1-star hotel, it's a decent hotel in a great spot near La Rambla with several nice bars and cafes near. Our rooms were clean and practical, but noise-wise you could hear everything in the on the hallway and there was no way to open the window (no view). The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Muy buena ubicación, pero las habitaciones muy pequeñas. Servicio de alimentación, nulo. Solo agua y café.

The room was somewhat hot and had no windows, but the hotel more than makes up for it by offering a great service by the staff and a competitive price.

I booked my stay three month in advance and got a very good rate. Three days before my stay the hotel canceled the booking with the explanation that my credit card does not work. When I tried to call the hotel, they hang up when I said my name. The prices had gone up, as I noticed on some booking websites. I had to book another accommodation which accepted my credit card without any problem. When you scroll down a bit, you will see that I am not the first one who had this experience with this hotel.

TERRIBLE waste of money.not worth the €76. My room was the smallest hotel room i’ve ever stayed in. 9’x12’. It has NO window! Feels very claustrophobic The AC is not working! A fake window opens onto a vertical air column in the middle of the building. The tv is hidden in a cabinet that is so close to the bed that i banged into it twice. The tv cable is not working. The safe instructions are wrong and the safe keypad is working when it wants. You can hear all the other guests toilet flushes going down. Walls are so thin that you can hear conversations, especially from the cleaning crew with all their broom and stuff banging. The towels are so hard and rough that it feels like drying yourself with a scratch sponge. The lobby is dark and minuscule. There is absolutely no food convenience of any kind. Is there any good thing about this hotel? The location, although hard to find. I even don’t know if it’s accessible by car as the streets are small and pedestrians.

I like this little place. Sure I don't have a window but it makes it perfect for a day time nap. Remember, it's Barcelona you *have* to be out till 4am

The hotel is cozy and clean, in Gothic neighborhood that you have to walk through. Just near metro, you need to take metro in Barcelona even if you are a walker. There is a 24 hour coffee machine that guests may use for free.
My room did not have a window to the sun, it was always dark and I had to turn on the lighs which is not my favorite choice.

Hay mal olor en la entrada del hotel y en el baño de la habitación. Pedimos poder acceder a una computadora y me indicaron ir a un locutorio a 5 cuadras. La habitación es muy chica y la decoración en general más que gótica es opresiva, todo en tonos negro, verde oscuro y gris. No vuelvo a ese hotel.

Location is the best feature! This place was right in the middle of the oldest area of Barcelona. The staff is friendly. Rooms were small, but as are most boutique hotels in Europe. It was clean, but pretty bare. No refrigerator. Request a Front side room off the street. The inside rooms do not have a very big window and the air circulation was poor. Bring your own soap and Conditioner. Only shampoo and a little bar of soap is provided. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. The lobby is really nice looking and it's too bad the rooms are not as pretty. Not a bad pick but if you want something fancy, this isn't it.

El personal del hotel es muy amable, las habitaciones son pequeñas pero confortables para descansar después de un día de paseo, su ubicación puedes llegar fácilmente a la Rambla, al Puerto, plaza Sant Jaume y Plaza Cataluña.

Hotel de una estrella.
Mi habitación fue muy cómoda al igual que el bañó.
Tal vez la atención es ajustada, precise realizar una consulta por pc y me enviaron a un locutorio a 4 cuadras, por suerte con mi tablet me pude arreglar.

Ok. Def a 1 star. Rooms tiny and clean. No windows. Paper thin walls. Quiet neighbors is a plus. Unfortunately one cannot order them

Hotel carino in una ottima posizione a 2 passi dalla rambla cn personale gentile, il posto è molto pulito e sempre profumato.la camera in cui sn stato era un po' piccola con finestre piccole che nn si possono aprire completamente qualche problema cn l aria condizionata.
