Hotel Mas Pelegrí

Tuve una estancia maravillosa en el Hotel Mas Pelegri. Gareth y Fiona fueron unos anfitriones increíbles y se desvivieron por cuidarme. La comida casera era deliciosa y el alojamiento excelente. Estoy deseando que llegue mi próxima visita.

Es un lugar alejado, donde se busca la tranquilidad y se encuentra. Nuestra habitación era el doble de grande que una habitación de un hotel convencional y descansamos de lujo. Tanto los dueños como el personal son muy atentos y amables, están pendientes en todo momento de que estés cómodo. El desayuno, sin pedir lo que quieras ya te ponen zumo natural, café y unos bollos de pan recién hechos con mantequilla y mermelada riquísimos. No pudimos disfrutar de la piscina y las actividades que ofrece pero tenían muy buena pinta. Y el punto extra que tiene es que puedes llevar a tu perro y disfrutar con el de la experiencia.

Un alojamiento de 10!

Espectacular! Lugar con mucho encanto, todo súper bien cuidado y bonito. La familia que lleva el hotel son súper amables y atentos. Hicimos una reserva precipitada porque la que habíamos hecho para estos días nos salió mal y nos atendieron espectacular por teléfono facilitándonos todo muchísimo desde el primer momento hasta la estancia allí. Súper agradecidos y MUY MUY RECOMENDABLE.

Nos encantó cada minuto de nuestra estadía en este lugar tranquilo y absolutamente hermoso. Propietarios, Fiona y Garrett, tan amables como uno podría desear. Fiona se ofreció como voluntaria para llevarnos en una caminata de una hora por el bosque hasta el río y de regreso, Garrett fue muy generoso con consejos y destinos para caminatas. La casa está reformada siguiendo el estilo y el espíritu de Catalunya, las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, y la paz y el ambiente son de ensueño. Buena comida también, y no es caro. Volveremos.

I was at Hotel Mas Pelegri to do some cycle training. The area is absolutely ideal for cycling - beautiful scenery, quiet roads, and some good climbing (with the stunning Costa Brava close by). My room was spacious and very comfortable, it was great to meet some other people with similar interests, and Gareth and Fiona went out of their way to help with bike routes, lots of bike advice, and even a bike fit. They even set up a desk in my room for the one day that I had to do some work. I highly recommend a stay here.

Had a wonderful stay here, would highly recommend. Fiona and Gareth are fantastic hosts. There's loads to do nearby. I mainly was here to do some horse riding lessons at the stables nearby and a few hikes which were very pretty! The stay was comfortable with great facilities and hearty food.

My family and I stayed at Mas Pelegri this summer and had a lovely time. My brother and I were training for our first 70.3 ironman triathlon and Gareth and Fiona's tips and knowledge were invaluable! We had a great swimming lesson with Gareth which really helped us improve our technique, we also rented road biked and we were recommended a stunning long local route - once again, Gareth's tips and bike fitting were extremely helpful. We also really enjoyed outdoor yoga in the morning with Fiona and the breakfast was spot on too! Both of them were great hosts and the facilities and location are absolutely stunning too. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Es dorm molt bé, quan et despertes tens unes vistes impresionants, l’esmorzar és excelent i els banys tenen totes les instal·lacions necessàries, també ens han tractat molt bé i la zona exterior és molt agradable.

Great hotel for sport and family time. You have hiking, biking, lake, golf and horse riding facilities nearby. Hosts Fiona and Gareth will make you feel like home and take care of your needs.

Hotel Mas Pelegri is a wonderful, eco-friendly casa rural located in the heart of the Garrotxa (La Garrocha) countryside. I went for two nights with my wife and 3 year old daughter and we had an incredible time. We rented bikes from the hotel and took a day trip to the Lago Banolas (approximately 20km from the hotel). Gareth and Fiona, the owners, were incredibly helpful and gave us sound advice throughout our stay. They certainly made our trip feel that much more special. Breakfast was great, dinner was also delicious. Rooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We will most certainly be returning again. Thanks again to Gareth and Fiona for your hospitality.

This hotel is really awesome, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the service is really welcoming and very kind. It's ideal for bikers, this hotel has no misses at all for me, I would come back and recomend to every one of my friends, it has a nice swimming pool and the place is very quiet.

Un sitio mágico para desconectar y disfrutar, una masía rehabilitada con encanto y respeto, una pareja amabilísima que nos ha tratado fenomenal. Un sitio especial altamente recomendable.volveremos!

Incredible experience in a gorgeous location. Our room was impecable. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was perfect and the heating rack for our towels was an unexpected and lovely added bonus. Every space in the main building was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Gareth and Fiona were lovely and very hospitable, from the free yoga session in the mornings, the complementary breakfast with freshly baked rolls to the overall attention they provided. Fiona even have us a 10 minute demonstration of aerial yoga, which we found very interesting and fun. She offers private sessions of this type of yoga to anyone interested. Our homemade dinner at the hotel was also very satisfactory, prepared with fresh ingredients from the area. The freshly baked bread gave dinner that special homey touch and they were even able to get gluten free bread for someone in our party.

The suggestion of heading to Equinatour for riding classes and/or horseback rides through nature was fabulous. Eva and Rafa gave us very good service.

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city for couples, families or even larger groups. It’s also great as a destination in and of itself for longer stays. On top of the 6 guest rooms overlooking the beautifully maintained garden filled with blooming flowers, there are additional rooms in the main building, which also houses a nice terrace with a lovely view. There are plenty of exterior common areas where one can sit and read, have a picnic or just enjoy the view and tranquility of the place. The weather was still too cold for us to use the pool, but the lounge chairs provided us with the perfect spot to get some sun, enjoy refreshments and play board games which the owners provided. There is also an outdoor ping pong table and places to barbecue in great condition. The hosts have a lot of bicycles available for rent as well as excellent suggestions for walking trails through nature.

There’s a good amount of cute and friendly cats which roam the area in search of food or some affection. One of the owners mentioned the cats had been in the area before them, and they took it upon themselves to get them veterinary care and have them sterilized to prevent the population from exploding to unsustainable numbers. As an animal lover, this showed me the kind of high quality people Gareth and Fiona really are and I was delighted to get to meet them. They are kind, selfless and conscientious people with big hearts.

I definitely left wanting to have stayed longer in this idyllic and serene place surrounded by nature. I will definitely make sure to visit again the next time I’m in Spain.

Este fin de semana hemos estado con nuestra perrita en na de las habitaciones, no tengo mas q buenas palabras para decir, el sitio es precioso, una masia reformada q esta no solo preciosa sino cuidada, limpia y muy acogedora, q nos ensenyaron amablemente; a pie de habitacion un monton de caminos por donde pasear, en cuanto al hotel, no han podido ser mas amables y cuidadosos, nos vinieron a recibir al coche y saludaron a nuestra peluda, nos explicaron todo y nos informaron como podiamos ir a las rutas de senderismo, hemos desayunado y cenado ambas noches y estaba todo riquisimo, no, lo siguiente, la comida sencilla pero casera y sobretodo nada de desperdiciar, cosa q agradecemos muchos, ya q en muchos hoteles te llenan de productos q no eliges y luego acaban tirandose, se agradece mucho q pregunten, ya q yo tengo una dieta especial y he comido estupendamente.la habitacion calida y preciosa, con nevera propia por si necesitas guardar algo. Si vienes a ver la tele esa es la unica cosa q puede q no te guste, ya q no hay, a nosotros nos parecio algo estupendo ya q veniamos a desconectar y a andar. Volveremos sin duda, posiblemente en mas de una ocasion.

Hemos pasado 3 noches en Más Pelegrí y nos hemos quedado con ganas de más.
Si buscas desconectar del mundo, es el lugar perfecto. Apenas tienes cobertura de móvil (pero si lo necesitas tienes wifi), no tienes TV para no saber qué pasa en el mundo, y tienes bosques y caminos sin fin para pasear tranquilos sin tumultos de gente.
El trato con la familia y la chica que trabaja con ellos es magnífico y hacen la estancia perfecta.
Desayunamos y cenamos allí todos los días y tienen un menú muy saludable y todo es casero y muy bueno.
Hemos disfrutado como niños una actividad tanto para pequeños como mayores buscando huevos y conejitos de Pascua por el bosque con Ilai y su madre que nos ha encantado.
Un gran recuerdo y muchas ganas de volver.

Un lloc preciós, enmig de la natura, amb tots els privilegis d'un hotel i tota la comoditat d'una casa. Els amfitrions et fan sentir a gust des del primer moment i es preocupen d'estar atents amb tot el que puguis necessitar. Han pres moltíssimes mesures pel covid (hi ha dispensadors de gel hidroalcohòlic a cada estança comuna, cartells a les parets recordant les mesures obligatòries, et serveixen ells l'esmorzar en comptes de fer-lo buffet,). El menjar és boníssim, saludable i casolà.
Hem trobat que és un lloc ideal per anar-hi en família. La meva filla de 3 anys no para de preguntar que quan hi tornarem.

Es la primera vez que vamos a un hotel ecológico, nos hemos llevado una grata sorpresa. Sin electricidad, funciona solo con placas solares. Los anfitriones están todo el tiempo atentos y a disposición de lo que necesitáramos. La habitación en planta baja, con un jardín, esta ambientada en piedra y madera, acogedora. Tiene una nevera pequeña, aire acondicionado, mesa y armario. Desayunamos y cenamos allí, buen producto, casero. El salón comedor también está decorado en madera y piedra, con sofás, televisión, biblioteca, etc. Alquilamos bicicletas y salimos a recorrer los alrededores, caminos planos. Piscina grande, por la mañana la mitad de la piscina esta sombreada por los arboles, lo cual se agradece. El entorno es silencioso. Para desconectar es fabuloso. Gracias.

The owners, Gareth and Fiona, have restored this Masia (traditional farmhouse) from ruins with an incredible level of craftsmanship and detail. It is located near Girona, in one of the world's cycling hotspots, near the volcanic region of Olot, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. It is surrounded by forest, so you can lose yourself in minutes. There is also a very nice 25m pool in the garden. There are numerous biking and running routes for all levels under Girona Cycling in Strava.
The food is also outstanding and there is a very reasonably priced honour bar. For those wishing to eat out, the town of Banyoles is only 15 minutes away and has everything from sushi to tapas.
This is a perfect location for anything from chilling by the pool to a full-on triathlon camp and the owners will go out of their way to accommodate routes and training requests.

Had an amazing time at the Mas Peligrí - the hotel itself is super relaxed and in a beautiful spot around half an hour drive from Girona. Our room was really comfortable and the breakfast each morning was perfect for fuelling up before a day out on the bike or running. The dinners we had there were great too. The owners, Gareth and Fiona couldn’t have been more welcoming - arranging road bike hire and giving us loads of recommendations for amazing routes in the area. A really wonderful stay and hoping to come back soon!

Lugar perfecto para desconectar y relajarse. Los anfitriones son una pareja adorable y hacen lo posible por ayudar, y siempre preguntan si es todo correcto.

Es un hotel rural, si la gente espera un hotel full service, se equivoca de lugar.

Las habitaciones son sencillas, que no significa que sean ni feas, ni antiguas, son sencillas pero con muebles nuevos, baños reformados, calefacción, y una cama muy muy cómoda.

Hay habitaciones con una puerta en común que permite juntar grupos de personas.

Si tengo la posibilidad de repetir, lo haré sin dudarlo.

Nice and peaceful surroundings, perfect for enjoying a weekend in the middle of nature. Comfortable rooms and many activities available on site (ping pong, biking, barbecue). You can easily rent a bike an explore the surrounding area. 30 mons by car from the Garrotxa area - convenient if you are planning to go trekking

Mala calidad precio.
Las fotos y los servicios no hacen justicia a la realidad de la web. Llaman suite a algo que no lo es y lo peor, el dueño no acepta las críticas que le ayudaría a mejorar.

Muy mala relación calidad precio: <br/>- desayuno tipo albergue (poquísimos alimentos, presentación lamentable, a granel, embutido de mala calidad, nada de bollería ni chocolate. Mesas grandes y tuvimos que compartir con otros huéspedes. No hay mesas de 2. Poca intimidad) ;<br/>- los propietarios no hablan castellano;<br/>- no hay ningún kit para el baño: solo 1 bote de jabón manos grande y 1 de gel/champú del super. <br/>- el wáter está junto a la ducha, nada que los separe;<br/>- ni agua (botellas) de bienvenida ni nada. La pedimos y nos dieron una jarra del grifo;<br/>- no hay funda para el colchón. Duermes prácticamente encima con una sábana; y<br/>- ruido en la habitación, se oye la habitación de al lado;<br/>Conclusión: NO RECOMENDABLE. NO IR PAREJAS.

We had a nice stay. It was a good combination between hotel and your own place. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, I can't stress that enough. The food was okay, the room was fantastic and there were fun locations nearby. Here is a list of improvements I suggest/compkaints I had:
1. Cats were quite annoying during dinner.
2. Maybe less english inspirations in typical spanish dishes (like beans)
3. I'm told this is everywhere in Spain, but there were a bunch of ants. They got in our food, maybe do something about that.
4. Very small thing: the ping pong table was askew, just like the floor. The ball would always roll off the terain. Maybe make something small in front of the fence so the balls don't roll away and put something under the table.
But yeah, it was totally awesome. Don't let these complaints turn you off from staying here.

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location. Fiona and Gareth were great hosts. Very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Horseriding with Rafa at Equinatur was fantastic and overall we had a great stay
