Se nota mucho que ningún nativo del inglés ha revisado el contenido del sitio web. Hay calcazos del español muy evidentes y cosas que no quedan claras o que directamente carecen de sentido. No tengo ningún motivo para contrataros y no puedo comentar nada de vuestro trabajo, pero pone “tell us what you think” y bueno, pienso eso. El inglés está cutre y hace que el sitio web parezca poco profesional. Deberíais invertir en un traductor o por lo menos utilizar MateCat o algo.

Trabajé con Jana de Abogados de Inmigración España y ella me ayudó a determinar qué tipo de visa se adapta a mi situación y me explicó todo con paciencia. Ella me guió paso a paso y me ayudó con cada pregunta tonta que le hice. Finalmente obtuve mi NLV y me mudé a España el próximo año y recomiendo ampliamente los servicios del grupo. Realmente aprecio a Jana y sus esfuerzos hacia mí:)

Nos dijeron que mi pareja se tenia que ir a su país porque la rechazaron, pidimos la resolución, y despues de mucho insistir por fin la conseguimos (no nos la daban). Nos decían que habían rechazado la solicitud, mintieron sobre las razones por las que supuestamente rechazaron la solicitud.

Contactamos con otros abogados y nos confirmaron que lo que dijeron era mentira, y efectivamente conseguimos la residencia.

Fueron bien al principio, y luego cuando hubo un problema se olvidaron de mí, quieren ganar dinero presentando, sin defensa jurídica (aun que digan que ofrecen). Y lo peor, presentando mal, y cuando un problema, mentir diciendo que vas a la cárcel si no te vas del país ya que no hay posibilidad de nada.

Decepcionado porque después de años como cliente de pago, no me avisaron de una fecha límite que pasó sin dejar ningún recurso.

Worst immigration I’ve had. A girl picked up the phone and directly referred me to paid consultation with very rude tones. When I tried to ask for the phone number I told her to speak more politely and she hung up the phone. I really don’t understand how you expect to get clients with this behavior. Please avoid this company.

I called the number they have on the website and some guy said he doesn’t speak in English so hung up the phone. Found this quite strange so called again and same guy began to shout aggressively towards me. And they call themselves an immigration lawyers.

Disaster. After using Balcells to ensure my application was correct first time I had 4 queries from the Dept of Extranjeros and after 6 months they rejected it. Balcells response was that they were surprised as the Dog E normally accepted what they usually sent. Sloppy and didn't check. I inadvertently sent them a life insurance instead of a health insurance and they just passed it on without checking it. I am now using a local lawyer who is much more thorough and cheaper. From the previous poor reviews the sloppiness seems to be cultural.

The lawyers at this law frim were extremely helpful with renewing my son's T. I. E.for studying in Spain. They are very professional and quick to respond to all our questions. During the Covid-19 shutdown it would have been impossible for us to navigate through this renewal process ourselves. Thank you very much Balcells Group Lawyers for helping us!

Have emailed this company 5 times in the past week asking for contact, but have received no response whatsoever.

Terrible advice. Had to follow up several times to get a reply and was then told i shouldn't get married, just get a certificate of civic union. Advice given did not reflect the circumstances of my arrangements even though i wrote it out in emails and then explained on the phone. In the end i had to research my legal rights re: immigration myself and was able to get advice from another lawyer and from EU advice portals. I had been referred by someone who liked them but they are just too busy to even listen properly and they did not keep up with the latest covid travel information.

Excellent service. The team at Immigration Lawyers Spain took very good care of us, and got my partner's visa done in a reasonable amount of time. The longest part, as usual, was waiting for Spanish bureaucracy. Anyway, I'll definitely be using them again.

Really great service. I can't thank Christian and his team enough for solving my visa issues before time. They were extremely efficient and helpful. I was turned away by many lawyers saying that its impossible to change the type of visa in Spain (from highly qualified professional visa to normal work visa), but Christian took my case and I got my visa before time. His team is amazing and humble, just like him. Would trust him with any issue.

We had some challenges in processing our visa applications due to a background check that was not clean. Cristian and his team drafted letters and supplied documents to the Los Angeles Spanish Consulate that handled the problems with no issues. Once our paperwork was provided to the Consulate, we received our Lucrative Visas in 2 weeks. We were very happy with their services!

Usually when I get good service, I don't have time to report on it afterwards, but I have a lot of friends on Facebook pages about Spanish Sephardic citizenship, and I went through the process with them. It's clear that I got better help from Balcell's than my friends did with their lawyers in Spain, so I'm writing a review.

Balcell's accepted my case in the middle of July, which was very late, and I'm grateful to them for doing that. The deadline from the Spanish government for the citizenship application was October 1st, and the Spanish government's process is very difficult and complex: the government changed the rules and dates in the middle of the process, and they were not always clear (this is the same with the Portuguese government). Balcell’s brought me reliably through the process from mid-July until today. The first Balcell's lawyer I worked with, Noemie, I was working with was good because she always replied to my emails within 1 or 2 days, but I never met her in person. I got to work with the another Balcell's lawyer Ilyana in person when I went to Barcelona to sign with their notaria. She was a pleasure to meet and to work with. To be clear, I don't have my citizenship yet, so it's not really over, but all the work is done.

It's very hard for me to trust a lawyer that I only met on the internet, so I probably was not an easy client this summer, especially for Noemie. However, I understood that I had to do a lot of work for this on my own in the United States, so I was very organized and I got everything I needed myself. No Spanish Law firm can help you with FBI documents, Cervantes tests, or Birth or Death Certificates from the United States, OrVeShalom, etc - those are hard to get and you have to get them on your own and apostle them on your own. For all the work I had to do in the United States, Thank God, I made an amazing friend on Facebook, Grace, who helped me figure that out. The Facebook community was crucial in this process, and I recommend that anyone who goes for citizenship in Spain or Portugal becomes part of a FB page.

Anyway, I'm happy with Balcell's: the translations they made, being available for questions, getting a good and reliable notaria, monitoring all the FCJE and Ministio uploads, staying in contact with the flakey Spanish Government and other things. Balcell's got me through the process until now and feel I can trust them. Also, they are reasonable in terms of price, and they aren't billing me the 2nd half of payment until after I get my citizenship, even though all the work is over. Definitely I feel lucky I found them, and grateful that they took me on really late in the process.

Getting a NIE with the Immigration Lawyers Group was so easy, a short visit to the office, and a few days later met one of their associates at the Oficina de Extranjeros, jumped the queue and had our NIE stamped.
