Vimos un anuncio de un piso a 40 minutos de Barcelona a finales de septiembre, y a finales de noviembre nos dieron las llaves. Comprar una casa suele ser un proceso complicado y estresante, y os aseguro que en Barcelona puede llegar a ser una pesadilla.

We hired Inspire when buying a property in Barcelona, Spain. Found them via a webinar about buying a property in Spain, the webinar itself was really helpful. They truly are experts when buying or investing in real estate! Their team helped us a lot with negotiating and finalizing our mortgage as the bank only spoke Spanish; also they sent an architect to look at the building, the roof and the flat itself to make sure everything is in order. They also have a lawyer that looks over all the property documents and the arras/downpayment contract. The only regret we have is that we hired them after we negotiated the price and paid for the reservation as I'm sure they would have done a much better job and could have saved us more money:)

Buying a house is usually convoluted and stressful, even more in a foreign country and even more in Spain. That's what we learned, at least.

A couple of months ago, we decided to buy an apartment and to settle in Barcelona. However, we weren't very sure where to start. With some luck, we came across the people from Inspire. They did their value proposition; we needed some thinking time.
