Itaca Hostel

Mi experiencia en Itaca Barcelona Hostel fue excepcional. El Wifi era de alta calidad y el proceso de registro fue eficiente. Mi estancia en el hotel fue agradable y recomiendo su conveniente ubicación. En general, una fantástica elección de alojamiento.

Es MUY difícil criticar este lugar.

Las habitaciones estaban impecables y limpias e incluso tenían casilleros donde proporcionaban llaves, algo que no muchos albergues tienen. Además tienen enchufes de carga DENTRO de las taquillas, realmente lo han pensado todo.

La ubicación no podría ser mejor. Está justo en medio del barrio gótico y a solo un par de minutos de una estación de metro, la catedral y la pared que parecen labios, si sabes a qué me refiero.

El personal también fue súper amable y creó muchos eventos para intentar que la gente socializara e hizo que el ambiente general fuera realmente genial (aunque mi amigo y yo estábamos demasiado ocupados para unirnos).

Mi único problema fue que en mi última noche alguien se mudó al albergue y me dijo que no tenían hogar (no es un problema, por supuesto), pero me sentí incómodo porque estaba tratando de convencerme de que le comprara cosas y realmente no me sentí cómodo. que dormía en la misma habitación porque realmente no tenía los medios económicos para decir sí a sus peticiones.

Excelente hostal, servicio de alta calidad, personal competente disponible las 24 horas del día. Estuve en una habitación compartida para 8 personas, la cama un poco dura, pero al final después de un día fuera de casa no hace ninguna diferencia. Proporcionan manta y almohada. Gran idea para organizar actividades por la tarde/noche. El primer día que llegué fuimos a ver el atardecer y pude conocer a la gente del albergue. Excelente ubicación, en pleno centro y a sólo unos pasos de la catedral. Sanitarios y limpieza en general excelentes. Si volviera a Barcelona definitivamente regresaría a Ítaca Hostel

Este es un albergue 10/10, incluso un poco encantador.
La cocina está perfectamente equipada. Las zonas comunes son acogedoras, con sofás y dos guitarras. Las taquillas son seguras y de gran tamaño, e incluso tienen una toma de corriente en su interior. La ubicación es maravillosa, a unos 30 pasos de la catedral principal, que es mi parte favorita de la ciudad. Las actividades sociales que tiene el albergue son efectivas para presentar a las personas y ocurren a diario. Los voluntarios son súper amables. Las vibraciones son buenas.
Las habitaciones son bastante decentes, pero las camas chirrían un poco y no tienen cortinas. El alquiler de toallas cuesta 2 €.

Cólicos:
— Los fumadores no pueden cerrar las puertas de los balcones, por lo que todo el albergue y las habitaciones suelen oler a humo. Luego, cuando las colillas van a la basura, el albergue huele a colillas y a ceniza. Un poco horrible a veces. ¿Por qué los fumadores no pueden simplemente salir a la calle?
— Ten cuidado con la hora de salida: quieren decir que tienes que salir del albergue a las 11 de la mañana o te quieren cobrar 10 € por un “pase de un día”. Algo que inventaron, pero está “en el sitio web”, por lo que aparentemente todos deberían conocer este extraño inconveniente. Me recuerda a Airbnb. Esta sorpresa realmente podría arruinar tu logística.
— No hay control sobre la música en el área común. Es más ruidoso en el área de trabajo/comedor, que también tiene el peor wifi. Pero en otros lugares era bastante suave y el wifi es bueno.
— El alquiler de llaves (solo en efectivo) es una molestia. Mantener euros hasta el último día para que potencialmente no se puedan gastar, es un maravilloso inconveniente.

A pesar de eso, todavía merece 5 estrellas y fue una estancia estupenda.

La verdad una experiencia excelente, el staff siempre con la mejor onda y muy buena predisposición, se organizan actividades lindas que incitan a socializar con los otros pasajeros y el lugar se presta a compartir con gente de todo el mundo.
Las habitaciones son cómodas, el ruido realmente no es un problema, y el lugar, los baños y otros espacios comunes siempre están limpios.

El Itaca Hostel fue un gran lugar para alojarse y disfrutar. El personal fue absolutamente fabuloso, muy amable y servicial con todo, desde café gratis, recomendaciones de actividades y restaurantes, y más, ¡incluso prestándome un cargador de teléfono! ¡Fue una experiencia muy agradable para agregar a nuestro divertido viaje a Barcelona!
¡Definitivamente regresaré la próxima vez que venga a visitar la ciudad!

¡Mis amigos y yo tuvimos una estancia estupenda! El wifi fue excelente, el registro fue rápido y fácil, la ubicación era perfecta y la estancia fue realmente cómoda. Definitivamente lo recomiendo. El personal fue muy servicial al responder preguntas, dar recomendaciones o simplemente estar disponibles. Todas las instalaciones compartidas estaban limpias y bien mantenidas.

Pasé tres noches en el dormitorio mixto de 6 camas. Todo el personal fue muy amable y me ayudó con excelentes recomendaciones de restaurantes. La sala común de arriba es muy agradable para pasar el rato y cierra después de las 11 p.m. Para garantizar un buen descanso nocturno. Para las personas más sociables hay bebidas abajo casi todas las noches.

Excelente en general. Buen personal, buen diseño. Es una ganga con este precio.
Bueno, ubicado también.

Great hostel with friendly staff and located in a good location. Walls are thin so, you might hear some snoring.

My trip to Barcelona would have been incomplete if it weren’t for this hostel! The whole staff is incredible at this place- they treat you like friends and family, and they will practice Spanish with you as well. It was a great home base for making plans and chilling with other hostel mates. An awesome international environment with clean facilities and great vibes. Thank you Itaca!

Reservé para 3 noches y mi problema fue que al llegar a Barcelona, me tenía que ir al día siguiente. Les dije que dormiría una noche pero que cancelaría las 2 noches siguientes. Su respuesta es que no aceptan cancelaciones con menos de 72 horas (lo anuncian antes de comprar y lo respeto). Cuando estoy deshaciendo la maleta, me preguntan si finalmente me voy a marchar para que mi cama, la cual he pagado y no me devuelven el dinero, la pueda usar otro. Ahí si que no paso. Trato de hablar con Nuria, la dueña, pero me da largas y decide no devolverme el dinero. Tras esto, aviso a booking y les cuento mi problema y que van a utilizar mi cama para otro por lo que pido que me devuelvan el dinero. Nuria me contesta al momento que si quiero, mi cama no es utilizada por nadie. Olé tú, Nuria. Lo dicho, un servicio por parte de la dueña que deja mucho que desear, sin trato al cliente, por unos míseros 45 euros que para ella no supone nada y para mi son 2 días de comidas en Barcelona.

Went to book and it requires two nights but I was physically at the hostel and the clerk who said there’s a room available who said that I should be able to book one night had no ability to help me and the people who have the power don’t answer their phone so left me without a single place to stay.

Amazing experience - Itaca is located in the heart of Barcelona, which allowed us to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The staff is kind and the hostel is clean. It's a very social hostel, it's easy to spark conversation and hang out with ppl. They have small services - like the possibility of staying in some parts of the hostel on your check out day - that makes the visit smooth. Basically 2.5 days of stay with no problems at all.

Stayed on 18th, 19th May, 2022.perfect location and very good kitchen facility, clean bathroom.quiet environment. I left my valuable jacket, I realised after a day (was still in Barcelona at different hotel). When i went there, It was intact inside their storage.

Booked this spot through Hostelworld and stay there for a week in a private room for three. The room had a private bathroom, although you have to use the shared showers which were all very clean. It included towels and sheets. The beds were fairly comfortable and it was nice having some privacy that you don’t normally get in hostels while also the advantages of meeting people in the hostel. The receptionists were there round the clock and all very kind and helpful. They have activities in the evenings that are free for everyone staying there to join. They have some shower things that people have left there for everyone to use in case you forgot something. Also a fairly quiet hostel with quiet hours on the sleeping level after 10pm. Love our stay there!

What an amazing hostel! Amazing staff, great atmosphere, simple but nice rooms. Location is perfect right in the center of the gothic quarter. Would definitely come back again

La verdad que me lo pasé increíble en el hostel está en el centro de bcn.
La chica de la limpieza es un amor junto con amadu un veterano en el hostel.

Se respira muy buena vibes en hostel menos dos pequeños problemas uno era que me picaba todo y me salían ronchitas rojas cuando dormía sin ropa y el otro fue que el día del check out Raquel no comprendío bien que me había quedado sin hostel porque me habían dejado fuera a pesar que les dije que me cobren de semana a semana y mientras lo buscaba me echo como unas 4 veces muy poco comprensiba.

This hostel was really great! Such a great location in Barcelona (in the gothic neighborhood) and close to a lot of popular sites. The hostel's atmosphere is great and Rodrigo is a fantastic staff member. He created a fun and enjoyable experience and was very friendly. If I'm back in Barcelona, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hostel for a good time!

I love this hostel. It have three wonderful qualities; the location, the price and the staff. The crew who works there are wonderful. They were always very helpful. I would like to send my thank you to, Caro, Antonia, Jordi, and Rodrigo for a wonderful treatment. Also, The hostel was super clean.

Accueil chaleureux, on se sent rapidement chez soi. L'équipe facilite les rencontres entre voyageurs. Je recommande si vous voyagez seul et que vous voulez profiter de la vie nocturne à Barcelone. Si ce n'est pas le cas passez votre chemin (musique après minuit = réveil difficile pour profiter de la matinée)

Wow! Tiny but amazing atmosphere and the best all-around staff in nearly 16 months of traveling!

This is a great place to stay when you are in Barcelona. I stayed in mix dormitory. Offers clean linen and beds are comfortable. Charges 6 euros as deposit, it's refundable. Washrooms are clean. Location is great as it's right in middle of the city center. However you get all required privacy. Offers free unlimited coffee and tea. Also you get the locker to keep your belongings safe.

Everyone is soooooo nice and the kitchen is clean and the rooms are warm and they have good blankets

First time staying in a Hostel and it was really great. Most staff were really friendly and the hostel was really clean. Only problem was the guy who ran the pub crawl on the Tuesday night. He was fine at first but then got really drunk and quite aggressive and tried to send us to bed!? !? Was very weird. Then the next night the same guy was really drunk in the lobby drooling on himself. Other than that my mate and I had a really positive experience.
