Kalart: Creative Coliving & Coworking Montseny

Kalart es un lugar mágico, difícil de describir con palabras.
Ubicado en el valle del Montseny, a pocos pasos de casa encontrará hermosos senderos a través de naturaleza virgen. Y si le apetece el ambiente urbano, Barcelona está a 50 minutos en tren. Sin embargo, lo que realmente hace que Kalart destaque es su elemento humano.

El sentido de comunidad aquí es fuerte y palpable. Los compañeros de casa te hacen sentir bienvenido desde el primer momento. Vivir aquí significa estar en un lugar donde salir de su habitación brinda nuevos aprendizajes todos los días, respaldado por una comunidad que escucha y se preocupa. Kalarts es verdaderamente un espacio que fomenta el crecimiento y la conexión.

¿La parte más difícil de esto? Cuanto más lo experimentas, más difícil se vuelve irse. ¡Gracias a Noemi y Roger por crear todo esto!

Recientemente tuve el placer de visitar a un amigo y pasar unos días en Kalart, un hermoso espacio de convivencia y trabajo conjunto en el campo español, cerca de la vibrante ciudad de Barcelona. El ambiente es realmente cálido y agradable, gracias a los compañeros de casa inclusivos que me hicieron sentir bienvenido de inmediato. Para aquellos que buscan un retiro tranquilo pero inspirador, ¡este es sin duda el lugar ideal!

Kalart es uno de los mejores lugares donde he vivido en mi vida.
Estuve alrededor de 3 meses, en una transición personal, y solo tengo cosas excelentes para compartir, por ejemplo el ambiente respetuoso, buena vibra, empatía, mentalidad colaborativa.
Por otro lado, las normas son muy claras para mantener la casa en orden, realmente limpia, viviendo conscientemente y respetando la naturaleza y el medio ambiente.
La gente es realmente increíble, me sorprendieron mucho los valores, la energía, la calidad de las conversaciones, realmente siento que eran (y son) parte de mi familia.
Volveré porque Kalart no es solo un lugar para vivir, sino también una experiencia para sumergirte profundamente en tu interior a través de personas increíbles y un paisaje increíble.

Estuve dos meses como voluntaria en kalart. Fue una experiencia increíble e hice algunos amigos para toda la vida. Está situado en una hermosa zona llena de senderos increíbles para caminar y andar en bicicleta. La casa está muy bien administrada por Nohemí y Roger, quienes hacen un gran trabajo manteniendo el lugar organizado, atendiendo las necesidades de todos y creando un ambiente súper cómodo y abierto. Es un gran lugar para dejar salir tu lado creativo a través de la música, el arte o lo que sea. Todos allí tienen diferentes habilidades y lecciones para compartir y aprendí mucho durante mi estancia allí.

¡Mi estancia en Kalart fue un verdadero cambio de vida! Es realmente increíble ser testigo de cómo un gran grupo de personas que viven en la misma casa pueden funcionar sin problemas mediante la colaboración y la organización. Kalart Coliving es un claro ejemplo de esta convivencia armoniosa. Los residentes de Kalart son increíblemente acogedores y las conversaciones que compartimos son una fuente constante de motivación. Si buscas un lugar donde la conexión y el crecimiento personal sean prioridades, Kalart puede ser una buena opción.

Kalart es una maravilla de lugar! Pasé casi un mes ahi y me hubiera encantado quedarme mas tiempo. Desde el primer momento me senti tan en casa. Es un lugar donde puedes enfocarte mucho en tu proyecto/trabajo y al mismo tiempo tener momentos tan lindos con los que estan viviendo ahi. Nohemi y Roger hacen todo lo posible para que la gente se sienta bien. Me apoyaron despues de irme con varias cosas tambien. Se comparte comida todos los dias y se hacen amigos muy rapido. Gente muy abierta y divertida y la casa muy limpia y bien organisada. Quiero volveeeeeeeeer:)

Oh man, Kalart! ️

Words don’t do it justice but if I have to say something the tldr; is: We came to Kalart for a month in Sept 2022 and ended up staying six! It’s that good!

The longer version is that it was one of those life changing for the better experiences for me! I feel like I’ve grown so much in so many ways starting from becoming confident to cook for 10+ people, to share my vulnerabilities, my highs and lows with people who I’ve met not long before but who very soon became my family, to allow my inner kid to come out and play, and sometimes to make mistakes but always with the assurance that no matter what I am in a safe space where every facet of my inner side can be safely brought to light, looked at, played with and explored so it ultimately gets integrated.

If you want to experience the slow life in a community of kind, open hearted yet unique and authentic human beings, look no further. It’s location is perfect as well — just at the entrence of a national park, with hikes and nature walks literally at the back of the house, many events or workshops in the villages nearby, and of course that indescribable—you need to experience it for yourself—Catalan vibe:). And yet it’s just 1h train-ride to Barcelona.

My heart will always stay open to Kalart and to everyone who has shared their time and life with me there, and I am very honored to have had the opportunity to call it my home for a short while! ️

Viví casi 1 año con personas preciosas, fue un lindo momento para encontrarme y reencontrarme con partes mías que había dejado a un lado. Mucha diversión, libertad de ser quien seas y apertura! Sorpresas y magia, juego y conversaciones interesantes. Orden y comida rica. Personas lindas, lo recomiendo mucho!

Kalart is both inspiring and elevating as an introspective retreat, to root and grow internally.
Grounded in well found rules/structures with honest and empathic communication, ensure the sanity and harmony within this vibrant social connection point.
Good care is taken in selecting those to stay in Kalart; everyone I’ve met there has been nice, open minded and usually in a (creative) search/process. Those living in the house and those visiting short term blend well socially with lots of sharing (conversations, lunch, organizing activities, etc.). This results in great opportunities to learn and keep inspiring each other!
Furthermore besides the activities organized within Kalart, there are surprisingly many things happening in the local towns, without the noise of city life. (Though in case of needing some city stuff, Barcelona is not far away.)
One lesson from Kalart I take on to the future, is that taking care of having a clean space to live is a great start to give calmth, security and structure as a base from which to work on my own (projects).

¡Oh hombre, Kalart!

Las palabras no le hacen justicia, pero si tengo que decir algo, el tldr; es: ¡Vinimos a Kalart por un mes en septiembre de 2022 y terminamos quedándonos seis! ¡Es así de bueno!

¡La versión más larga es que fue una de esas experiencias que me cambiaron la vida y me brindaron mejores experiencias! Siento que he crecido mucho en muchos sentidos, empezando por tener confianza para cocinar para más de 10 personas, compartir mis vulnerabilidades, mis altibajos con personas que conocí no mucho antes pero que muy pronto se convirtieron en mi familia, para permitir que mi niño interior salga y juegue, y a veces cometa errores, pero siempre con la seguridad de que, pase lo que pase, estoy en un espacio seguro donde cada faceta de mi lado interior puede salir a la luz, mirarse y jugarse de forma segura.con y explorado para que finalmente se integre.

Si quieres experimentar la vida lenta en una comunidad de seres humanos amables, de corazón abierto pero únicos y auténticos, no busques más. Su ubicación también es perfecta: justo en la entrada de un parque nacional, con caminatas y paseos por la naturaleza literalmente en la parte trasera de la casa, muchos eventos o talleres en los pueblos cercanos y, por supuesto, eso es indescriptible: debes experimentarlo por tú mismo—ambiente catalán:). Y, sin embargo, está a sólo 1 hora en tren de Barcelona.

Mi corazón siempre estará abierto a Kalart y a todos los que han compartido su tiempo y su vida conmigo allí, ¡y me siento muy honrado de haber tenido la oportunidad de llamarlo mi hogar por un corto tiempo!

I stayed in Kalart for the whole month of January and I wish I would have stayed longer. I am used to stay in coliving concepts but it's the first time I experienced such a close, warm and welcoming community. I appreciate the effort that is being made in choosing the right people to contribute into the group dynamic, the idea of connecting and participating to make of that house a true home. It's a very peaceful place to stay with lots of laughs and simplicity. I enjoyed cooking for everyone, sharing practices and love, and doing activities together. I will be back as this is now one of my homes where I have made real friends!

I spent nearly a month at Kalart. Being an older American gentleman from the US, I was a bit apprehensive about language, cultural and generational challenges. But after a few weeks those barriers seem to melt away, allowing deeper relationships to form. Another month there would have been optimal.
The daily sharing of dinner was wonderful!

Kalart es a la vez inspirador y elevante como un retiro introspectivo, para arraigar y crecer internamente.
Basado en reglas/estructuras bien establecidas con una comunicación honesta y empática, garantice la cordura y la armonía dentro de este vibrante punto de conexión social.
Se tiene mucho cuidado al seleccionar aquellos que se quedarán en Kalart; Todos los que he conocido allí han sido amables, de mente abierta y, por lo general, están en un proceso/búsqueda (creativa). Quienes viven en la casa y quienes la visitan a corto plazo se integran socialmente y comparten mucho (conversaciones, almuerzos, organización de actividades, etc.). ¡Esto resulta en grandes oportunidades para aprender y seguir inspirándose unos a otros!
Además de las actividades organizadas en Kalart, sorprendentemente suceden muchas cosas en las ciudades locales, sin el ruido de la vida urbana. (Aunque en caso de necesitar algunas cosas de la ciudad, Barcelona no está muy lejos).
Una lección de Kalart que me llevo al futuro, es que cuidar de tener un espacio limpio para vivir es un gran comienzo para dar tranquilidad, seguridad y estructura como base desde la cual trabajar en mis propios (proyectos).

Me quedé en Kalart durante todo el mes de enero y desearía haberme quedado más tiempo. Estoy acostumbrado a vivir en conceptos de coliving pero es la primera vez que experimento una comunidad tan cercana, cálida y acogedora. Agradezco el esfuerzo que se está haciendo en elegir a las personas adecuadas para contribuir a la dinámica del grupo, a la idea de conectarse y participar para hacer de esa casa un verdadero hogar. Es un lugar muy tranquilo donde alojarse con muchas risas y sencillez. Disfruté cocinar para todos, compartir prácticas y amor y realizar actividades juntos. ¡Volveré porque ahora es uno de mis hogares donde he hecho verdaderos amigos!

Kalart es la leche! Todo es brillante, mágico y divertidísimo. Viví casi un año con mi gran familia y me enamora cada uno de los días que recuerdo. Es perfecto en muchisimos sentidos.
Pongo 4 estrellas porque cuando tienes 5 estrellas la peña desconfía porque dice: 'bah, seguro que son sus primos y colegas que les han dado 5 estrellas'. Pues Kalart es un 5 estrellas de verdad. Por eso le pongo 4, para que los que desconfiais leais este comentario y se os vaya la tontería y salga como un 4,9 (con suerte). Un abrazo!

We are very happy to work with Kalart, and we would like to thank the mentoring we have received for launching our project. Kalart has been the main promotor and collaborator on the "Xarxa Cultura Baix Montseny", the directory of professionals from cultures and arts in this whole region of Baix Montseny and Rural Barcelona.

Had a great time staying at Kalart. It’s a home away from a home that also has a co-working space and a hall for yoga and music classes. The co-livers are respectful, friendly diverse people. Each have their own room, and share common space (eg kitchen) and some chores. The location was quiet and close to the forest and mountain, and within walking distance of the San Esteve village, which surprisingly to me not only had a good variety of shops and restaurants (that open into the night), but also full of young people and families. In short I highly recommend Kalart if you want to work remotely or locally or live for a while away (and not too far) from the big city.

Kalart is an amazing, inspiring place. I spent 2 weeks volunteering in Kalart and its been one of the most unique and enriching experiences in my life. The community of Kalart is full of passionate, interesting people with whom coliving and sharing moments is a pleasure. A perfect place for those whose mind is open and who like the idea of sharing:)

I spent one month in Kalart (november) and it was one of my highlights that year.
The community is fantastic (I still keep friendships from that period), I learned a lot about communal living and all kinds of arts and sciencies.
While living there, you are expected to behave like one whole member of the house, and this means a lot of sharing and bonding.
At the same time, as a web developer I could keep doing my job on the coliving office, which is a nice and quiet place.
The environment is really nice, with Montseny forests just near by, and the town also has an amazing vibe.
Totally recommend it. Honestly kind of a life-changing experience.

The Kalart Coliving Community is a magic place in the Montseny Natural Park, near Barcelona. I was a volunteer there for 10 days in April 2022 and wished I could have stayed longer. Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful activities you can participate in. If you are searching for a good work-life integration, fun tribe and/or want to try the co-living experience surrounded by nourishing nature, yet close to the city - go there.

Thank you Roger and Noemi for creating this wonderful space. Thank you Kalart for making me feel part of the family, even though I only stayed such a short time.

Me encanta siempre buen rollo. Buen ambiente, gente de diversos lugares. Hay la posibilidad de corta y larga estancia. Desde el primer día me sentí como en casa. Gracias Kalart y todos aquellos que lo hacen un lugar muy especial.

Wether if you visit Kalart for few days or months you will have a fruitful experience joining this community and their activities. You can participate in many spontaneous events or chill with the beautiful nature in the area. The house has a co-working room to study/work, and a movement room where work with the body. Roger and Nohemí are beautiful beings who will welcome you and making you feel at home. Enjoy your stay!

Kalart fue nuestro hogar durante tres semanas. Solicitamos ir como visita y dormimos en la caravana (preparada para las frías noches a los pies del Montseny) que hay delante de la casa. Compartimos con el equipo, que nos hizo sentir como en casa desde el primer momento, y formamos parte de la vida cotidiana de la comunidad. Nos sentimos muy agradecidos de haber formado parte de este proyecto y esperamos poder seguir yendo muchas veces más:)

Kalart is a very nice place, located in a dynamic little town, and run and inhabited by very interesting, welcoming, heartwarming and friendly people. I did not stay long, but I wish to go there again soon.

Kalart it’s really a new concept for those who need to go beyond the coworking services and find business guidance. I have enjoyed with the mentoring sessions but also with other colivers and coworkers who are always supportive and open to give you feedback. Congrats for this special place.

Kalart es un lugar maravilloso:), las personas que lo gestionan son muy amorosas, la casa muy amplia, con lindos espacios, buena luz y mucha atención por los detalles. El grupo que gestiona el espacio está muy bien organizado, lo cual hace la convivencia muy sencilla. Muchas gracias por el tiempo aquí!

Més enllà de l'espai, la ubicació i les diferents funcionalitats, volem agrair a l'equip, sense el qual no hagués estat possible llençar el nostre producte al mercat. Van apostar per nosaltres i el nostre projecte, ens van guiar en el business plan, desde el canvas al prototipatge, i ens van assessorar en el llançament al mercat. Han estat molt pendents del nostre nivell motivacional com a equip, ajudant-nos en els moments difícils. Gràcies a Kalart, hem pogut produir amb èxit la primera hamburguesa de cactus del mercat, 100% vegana i sense gluten. Una start-up totalment sostenible i innovadora.

Fast internet, fresh free bottomless coffee, silent coworking, chatty room area for networking, surrounded by nature to disconnect or just to run or bike before restarting again. Nice combination in one only place. National and international hosts, all well traveled, from artists to makers and entrepreneurs. Nice vibe overall.

Treballo al coworking de kalart, a la sala de tallers, que és prou espaiosa, uns 20m2. Està aïllada, pel què puc estar concentrat creant els meus prototips i imprimint en 3D. M’han ofert taules de treball i assesorament en el projecte, en diuen mentoring. La gent és maca, i si vols desconectar pots anar a la zona chill out on sempre hi ha algú per xerrar i compartir punts de vista. Genial la hamaca que tenen!
