Kite Sisters

Pasé un tiempo increíble en el campamento de Kitesisters en Belice. Todo estuvo preparado perfectamente para una gran semana. La playa de kitesurf era preciosa, y todos allí fueron muy serviciales y sabían lo que hacían. ¡No puedo esperar al próximo campamento en Perú!

Asistí a mi primer campamento en el norte de Perú este año y ¡no será el último! Estoy más que impresionado con el nivel de organización y consideración que se puso en este viaje. Los instructores estuvieron muy atentos a nuestra seguridad y progresión. Las comidas fueron excelentes y el chef hizo todo lo posible para adaptarse a mis restricciones dietéticas. Se cuidó cada detalle para que pudiéramos concentrarnos en disfrutar de la compañía de un grupo de mujeres tan increíble y, por supuesto, ¡del viento!

¡Fantástico campamento! No puedo recomendar más. Aprendes a hacer kitesurf en un espacio seguro con mujeres por igual. Es una semana de relax sin preocupaciones por presiones sociales. Chelu y su personal son increíbles y se asegurarán de que tengas una experiencia de primer nivel. Incluso si no hay viento, ¡volvería por la comida! (Es una broma, pero la comida es realmente tan buena)

Kite Sisters ha dominado la experiencia del cliente de élite. No solo el kitesurf y la enseñanza fueron perfectos, sino que todo el viaje estuvo impecablemente organizado, la comida deliciosa y la compañía muy dulce. Belice es un gran lugar ya que puedes estar de pie la mayor parte del tiempo. es un buen lugar para comenzar y aprender nuevas habilidades. 1.000% recomendado!

Amazing week learning to kite! Very well organized, luxurious accommodations in a private villa complete with our own chefs, top notch instructors, wonderful group of fun adventurous kite sisters. I can't think of a better way to learn. Highly recommend!

Book it! If you're on the fence about learning to kiteboard, take the leap & do it! Top notch location, staff were amazing, food delicious, excursions super fun & a whole new group of #kitesisters to travel with! I'll be back again and again! Wonderful experience & so happy to have booked it!

Kite Sisters – Belize Trip 3/5-3/12 2022 trip. (Please note I had to use my husbands gmail account). This is Deborah Reed.
Was having trouble with my personal account.
First of all I have to say I have never done something like this, meaning never went to a place with people I didn’t know, in a sport I was just learning. I’m 58 years old, fit and going through empty nesting, so I thought why not give it a try. I found Kite Siters online through a women’s kiteboarding Facebook page. When I first communicated with Chelu the founder, the visionary of this incredible program, she assured me that it will all work out and it sure did and more than I had expected. Before making the reservations, I had so many questions and Chelu answered them timely and to my appreciation.

From the time I made my reservation which was extremely professionally handled to the time I arrived to be picked up at the San Pedro airport to be taken to the lovely Villa via water taxi, I was in awe. There were 11 of us ladies ranging in age from 25 to me. We had a chef, a sous chef, house cleaners, a coordinator who was also our yoga instructor and of course our instructors. We arrived to a first-class reception, yes Champagne and greeted by the whole staff. I can’t say enough about my experience. It is truly become a sisterhood. I have made some new friends that love what I love, and we plan on more trips in the future. Let’s start with the food – nothing ever the same, juices every morning were different, creative and fresh squeezed. Meals were oh so healthy and extremely tasty. We got dessert every night and no I didn’t gain weight… When we didn’t have wind (which was one day) we went on a full day catamaran cruise and had the best snorkeling trip ever. I dive and I saw more on this trip than 80% of my dives. I also got to pet nurse sharks.

With regard to the kite instruction, the instructors were helpful especially with me because I had some issues with my bar and kite (I brought my own gear). They were so patient and knew that I was nervous to get out there but by the end of the trip I was able to do transitions and working one toeside back to heel. It was the longest I had ever kited. Now I am hungry for more! We were videotaped to review our progress which I though was helpful as well. An of course every day we had yoga in the most idyllic setting. Our instructor, Lynn who has trained in India had programs that varied each day and worked with each of us. It was a great marriage between the kiting as we worked hard and needed that time to stretch, relax and heal to go for another day. (Sounds like a James Bond title LOL).

I have to say this was one of the most spectacular adventures of my life. I didn’t want to leave. I loved every moment of it and I have already reserved a spot for Northern Peru in October 2022. This was truly one of my most Beautiful life experiences. I am Hooked!

The experience I just had with Kite Sisters was one of the best I’ve ever had!
Every single detail was so professional and thought out.
From the moment we arrived till the moment we left the crew bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were happy.
The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable.
The thought and effort that went in to the food was top notch.
The instructors were incredibly professional and fun. They made every day on the water very special.

Such a great experience, totally loved my week in Belize with the Kite Sisters. Would 100% do it again!

I attended the KiteSisters camp in Belize March 2020. I have attended another girls camp (Cascade Kiteboarding - La Ventana) and KiteSisters was better in almost every way. Chelu runs a very professional camp - from precise trip coordination to beautiful and comfortable accommodations to excellent instructors to having a Michelin trained Chef cooking healthy delicious meals 3 times a day for the group! I highly recommend KiteSisters and will be booking another camp myself!

Far exceeding my expectations, this Kite Sisters trip will not be the last for me. Every detail was methodically planned and executed. The location was idyllic.the food scrumptious.the yoga restorative.and the staff was professional and eager to please. I honestly cannot think of anything they could do better. Kudos to the team and Chelu for an amazing trip.

This is my 3rd camp with Kite Sisters and I can’t say enough to express my affection and appreciation for this company.

Where I live, I’m land locked. However, even with a steep learning curve, I was able to grow my skills from a beginner to become an independent rider without many other opportunities to learn.

Kite Sisters creates an experience of community, cultural exposure, amazing chef prepared meals, and more importantly, beautiful locations that allow one to have safe consistent learning conditions.

I highly recommend this camp for ladies who are seeking like kind whom love to learn and grow their skills with this sport while traveling to gorgeous destinations. ️️️

Had an AMAZING experience! Kite Sisters surpassed all my expectations (and they were set pretty high considering the cost). If you're a woman who loves kiting or wants to learn how to kite in a safe environment and not have to worry about logistics and food, etc, this is the camp for you! Everyone was so friendly and professional. I went alone but ended up making a bunch of new kiting friends:) I can't wait to go back!

I would highly recommend a Kite Sisters camp for any woman wanting to try kite boarding, or looking to improve their skills. The entire experience is safe and well organized. The accommodations are beautiful, the food is delicious and the women that I have met there have been friendly, encouraging, inspiring and inclusive. Attending one of these camps is a fantastic way to gain skills and confidence.
