Un lugar acogedor, comida muy rica, chicos super majos. También me revelaron la receta para preparar la cebolla a su manera.

El personal muy amable y el desayuno estaba delicioso. ¡Las tostadas de aguacate fueron las mejores! Eso es todo por ahora.

Cafecito escondido en una esquina del Born. Café probado y aprobado; y para rendirle oportunidad al nombre y la propuesta, Chai también probado y aprobado. La pastelerí rica pero escasas las opciones. Las tostadas con muchas opciones y generosas porciones.

Mi cafetería de barrio favorita, con un excelente café y desayunos a precios muy razonables y un servicio tan amable. ¡Qué más se puede pedir!

I stumbled upon this cafe during the walk and I couldn’t believe my luck.

Everything here was exceptional. I had avocado toast topped with kimchi. I’ve had a lot of kimchi in my life time so believe me when I say this kimchi was one of the best kimchi I’ve ever had. I also had iced coffee and iced matcha latte. Both were good.

The atmosphere was cozy. The staff was super nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Es la segunda vez que vengo y he probado el matcha y estaba de 10. Puedo decir que me encanta, es una cafeteria muy tranquila, acogedora y el personal es muy amable y encantador, sin duda se ha convertido en una de mis cafeterias favoritas de barcelona ^•^

El ambiente es súper cozy, cálido y la iluminación me pareció perfecta. La comida está deliciosa y una atención de primera.

Lugar muy acojedor. Ambiente tranquilo, chai latte y pastel estában muy ricos. Tienes muchas opciones veganas. Precios bien para la zona. Lavabo minúsculo.

Very cool place to sit and have a caffeinated beverage. I had a flat white with oat milk and it was fantastic. I went on a busy day but was able to sit by the windows. If you want to enjoy your beverage there, find a place to sit and the person taking your order will bring it to you. I wanted to have breakfast there but had too much planned for the day that I couldn’t sit and relax. Perhaps next time!

No wifi is available and even with tables, there is a no laptop zone. So sit, enjoy a beverage, and have a great conversation with friends.

Simply blown away! Such an amazing place! Very cosy place with a great menu (love that they have non-coffee options (such as Masala team) unlike other "coffee only" places in the area). Drinks (try the Masala tea) and food (classic avo toast - see photo) were great and fair price. Lastly, staff was suuuuper nice.

Note that this is a no wifi place which I personally appreciate. Highly recommended!

De las mejores cafeterías de BCN. Gran calidad de café, bien hecho y comida deliciosa. Atendido principalmente por dos personas que hacen una labor excepcional.

I've been going here for 2 years now and the quality has been consistently great every time. One of the best masala chai lattes in the city and one of the only cafes in Born that have a good bagel

Perfect cafe. Chai latte (oat) was just right, so too vegan banana bread (inc with chocolate). Lovely ambience, relaxed and great customer service.

Found this little hole in the wall La Masala Cafe based on so many good reviews and I could not agree more! What a lovely place, very cozy for a coffee and quick bite to eat or a heavy breakfast with breakfast bagel sandwiches and eggs and toasts! The XL latte and cappuccino are delicious and the chefs and owners are very kind and work so hard with a smile on their face! Thankful for the complimentary water as well considering many Cafes in Barcelona charge for water. Thank you for a delicious brunch to start our day of walking!

One of the best coffeee I have ever drink. Perfect service, awesome fresh breakfast too and very cozy interior! Awesome place!

A nice spot in el borne. Food and coffee both good quality. Service is good and kind. You may have to wait a little bit in the rush hour.

The Americano shot was smooth and the free range eggs were simply wholesome! The staff is sweet and speaks English and the vibe is great too. Definitely revisiting ️

A little cute breakfast/ brunch café with amazing avocado toasts and great coffee. The service is very nice and friendly. The owners also shared their „secret“ recipe for their delicious tomato relish with me ;-)

Such a sweet little spot in the heart of Barcelona! I loved every minute spent inside, great music choices, cozy atmosphere and nice coffee - what’s not to like? Closes a little early, but for a traveler it’s an amazing cafe with soul, where you can rest and write some postcards.

Amazing and beautiful spot for a coffee break in the city. The brioche with Brie was delicious, no words to explain how amazing it was. And.the coffee from Tusell Tostadores, OMG! Thanks for the attention and the eye for detail in everything. 100% recommended!

La Masala se ha convertido desde 2018 en mi refugio. Voy cuando estoy muy feliz o muy triste porque tanto el trato de los dueños como el café y la repostería es excelente y siempre me pone de buen humor.

El trato es inmejorable, te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en casa y son muy amables siempre.

Respecto al café, es sin duda el mejor de Barcelona y con muchísima diferencia (truco: probadlo con leche de avena). Después, ofrecen opciones veganas y eso siempre se agradece. Para personas veganas como yo hay porridge, bagel vegano, y siempre tienen a nuestra disposición o bizcocho o muffins veganos.

Suelen decir que el precio es algo caro, pero sinceramente me parece un precio super justo por unos productos y un servicio de tan buena calidad. Estamos acostumbrados a los precios bajísimos de cadenas de cafeterías que no valen nada, y la Masala lo vale y habría que saber valorarlo como es debido.

Todo está riquísimo y es el mejor sitio para ir a tomarte un buen café e ir probando las cosas ricas que tienen para comer. La Masala es un MUST.

Amazing coffee! Very good and pleasant service and the interior of the place is so very cute and cozy, could stay there whole day reading or writing. Inspiring little place with definitely one of the best coffees in town!

Cozy cafe with excellent latte at a reasonable price. Very limited selection of desserts or pastries. Single person ran the shop and he was very polite, made and served coffee. One downside is no WiFi

Nice decoration and great dark roasted coffee with a hint of cocao. They also have breakfast option which is rare for a small coffee shop. Friendly staffs, english well spoken. Not too many seats though but if you don't mind sharing big table or counter, that should be fine.

Love this place! The food is amazing and the coffee is delicious also from a local roaster Tusell. The staff is also very attentive. They serve the right amount of good and it’s also good quality.
