Excelente si quieres visitar Barcelona porque está prácticamente en la Rambla, cerca de la Plaza de Cataluña y no muy lejos de las casas más famosas diseñadas por Gaudí.

Le Meridian es una cadena hotelera de marca de mediana escala dentro del gigante Marriott. Para algunos, como los primeros visitantes, está en una muy buena ubicación justo al lado de las ramblas, para otros, se desaniman por la multitud que se derrama en la calle lateral donde se encuentra el Meridian. Tiene una decoración pop alegre que está un poco anticuada y no me impresionaron las habitaciones.

Los desagües del lavabo y la ducha están tapados, no hay calefacción en la habitación y es una habitación pequeña por un precio tan elevado.

Gran hotel, excelente ubicación, servicio de primera clase, limpio y fragante, con una habitación pequeña pero parece cansada, pero en realidad no importa. Un restaurante con buena comida y servicio perfecto.

Las microagresiones abundaron durante mi estancia en Le Meridien, Barcelona, ​​del 13 al 14 de agosto. Mi esposa y yo sentimos la energía negativa desde el momento en que nos acercamos al recepcionista.

Comenzó con la mirada del agente de atención al huésped que nos registró en Las Ramblas Marriott. El "¿TÚ te quedas aquí? Mira"

Luego me asignaron una habitación en la parte trasera del hotel con vista a la parte trasera de los edificios con una ducha tapada que se desbordó cuando mi esposa se duchó.

Llamé a la recepción dos veces para informarme de que me cambiarían. Cada vez me decían que alguien se comunicaría conmigo para cambiar la habitación. Nadie nunca volvió a nosotros.

Finalmente tuve que bajar a la recepción solo para que otro empleado de servicio al cliente me iluminara con gas, cuya energía hostil comunicaba que ella tampoco estaba acostumbrada a atender a los negros mientras me miraba fijamente a la cara y me decía que el gerente me llamó dos veces!

¡Supongo que es por eso que después de un viaje agotador bajé a la recepción para comenzar otro viaje agotador para cambiar una habitación que ya había comenzado a desempacar!

La ubicación es excelente, sin embargo, si eres un comprador negro, moreno y gay, ten cuidado.

Principalmente quiero agradecer la simpatía y la agradable acogida de Valentin, además de la fantástica habitación que nos adjudicó.
La estancia ha sido inolvidable y hemos amado Barcelona. El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Volveré sin dudarlo.
Todo fue perfecto. 100% recordable!

Not bad. Not the Edition. I decided to use up some of my Bonvoy points while passing through Barcelona with my uncle. When we arrived no one gave any haste or help with our bags. Instead they stood at the door conversating with eachother. The desk personnel was not in any haste to help the line of customers. The lobby was lacking and was in need of the Marriott treatment. I was really disappointed and felt very unimportant durring the checking-in process.
The rooms were good even thought they only had one upgrade available. I found that the rooms made up for the initial interaction with the staff. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had a great style.
I took them up on their breakfast offer and it was of good value. I paid 17€ for a buffet with omelet station.
I know its not fair to hold this hotel up to the nearby premium version but the least they could have done is help us with our bags. I wont be staying here in future trips to Barcelona.

Fantastic location right on LA Rambla, in the heart of everything. I booked a standard 275€ room & they gave me an immediate upgrade to a premium room but there were several problems so the general manager came and upgraded us to an 800€ per night premium suite which was very nice. The small issues I had to call down for like a harder pillow or a blown light bulb were answered with a ring at tge doorbell so immediately it was like they were waiting outside the door for my call! The receptionists were exceedingly helpful as were the servers at the brebuffet, a typical Marriott style breakfast buffet, European style. When we changed rooms the bellman was there immediately when we called that we were ready to move, I mean immediately. The place is immaculate everywhere and the suite has an amazing balcony of at least 400 square feet, with sun loungers and even an outdoor shower. The bed could be a little more comfortable and the couch could be a lot more comfortable, the bathroom is very nicely appointed with both a rain shower and a hand held too. Double sinks, and a bath tub as well as the walk in shower. The price of $1500 for 5 nights including breakfast for a full five-star hotel in Europe is extremely reasonable.

Great location. Facilities are ok, not worth the price if it wasn't for the location. Breakfast is good especially if free, lots of hot and cold food choices, clean restaurant with nice decor. Omelette station, baristas ready to make whatever you want. And the restaurant is located right off Las Ramblas with huge glass windows, great for people watching with your morning cappuccino.

However, most of the air ducts in the hallways and our room appeared to have significant mold. They did their best to clean the mold after I mentioned it, but the inside of the ducts were still saturated in mold after they superficially cleaned the outside.

Service was great at the restaurant and front door. The front desk was fairly slow to help with anything. I expected the front desk service to be much better.

We had the worst experience ever.the security team in charge of the parking spots within the hotel planned to break our wheels to steal all our phones, money and luggages.this is totally unacceptable and complaints are in progress but unfortunately all team members stays quiet.imagine you face that issue during your vacation.we will never go back to this hotel even if they have “good reputation »

This was a very disappointing experience.

We expect 5 star service and quality of rooms from a Le Meridien, but we got the opposite.

Rooms are small and basic, so boring.

The bathroom had some nice modern finishing which was refreshing.

The hotel restaurant was so bad, from food quality to service.

The seats were so messy and I had to use knife for a teaspoon.

I will never come to this hotel again.

There is no value for the money spent.

They say French people are something, but I'm sure everyone means Spaniards.

I am writing this on behalf of my children.
They got married in December and planned and SAVED for a beautiful honeymoon in Spain in July, with reservations at Lemeridien Barcelona.
My son was not feeling well prior to his flight out, so the day before their flight he went to the Dr.to confirm he was good to go. The Dr.decided to take some bloodwork just to be safe. Sitting on the runway about to take off for their dream trip they were contacted by the Dr.just in time and asked the plane return to the gate (which it did) as his blood tests from the previous day showed his liver was not working properly. Needless to say, it was a very scary and embarrassing walk off the plane and straight to the hospital where he was thankfully diagnosed with mono, which resolved over a month.

Grateful of course that he has his health, but extremely disappointing that their honeymoon was lost. They both spent hours trying to retrieve what they could from all of their reservations. The ONLY hotel that refuses to recognize their set of circumstances is Lemeridien Barcelona. My children provided all of the necessary documentation, from hospitals and Drs.and still they were met with no help except to offer that they rebook by this September - which because of their work schedules is just not possible.
I tell you all of this to make you understand just how traumatic and disappointing this entire episode was, to only be met with utter indifference by Lemeridien staff.
Lemeridien is a a thriving company, do they really need to pocket $1000 from a young couple just starting out who would still like to take a honeymoon one day?
Do better Lemeridien.

As an Ambassador member we were upgraded. The room was ok but dark.
The breakfast was one of the best BonVoy breakfasts in Europe and we enjoyed it.

We just ended a lovely vacation in Barcelona. Le Meridien was perfectly located for all our adventures. A plus was that we could take the very convenient Aerobus to and from the airport as its stop is quite close to the hotel. The room was a decent size for Europe and the bathroom was quite good (a little dark). The large shower was bliss. My husband used the gym one day and was happy with it.

What stood out for me was the amazing staff. From Santiago at checkin to the very nice housekeeping staff to a special thanks to Robert and Haital (so sorry, I'm not spelling name correctly). Robert and Haital both went out of their way to walk us to places and make suggestions. I feel awful because I wanted to tip everyone who went the extra yard but my husband had a problem with his card to get cash (we only learned that the day we were leaving as we used our credit card throughout). So we didn't have the cash to tip everyone. Don't make our mistake and make sure you can get cash at beginning of your trip.

To all the staff at Le Meridien, we thank you!

Le Meridien is centrally located on La Rambla, between the El Raval and Gothic Quarter neighborhoods.

We stayed here for three nights. As my upgrade certificates cleared, we were moved to a junior suite, but not one of the ones with a view of La Rambla (as Formula One was in town and it was busy).

Check-in was haphazard. There were only two desks, and staff were busy dealing with calls and back of house items. Not the usual Marriott Bonvoy process, or friendliness.

The room was a good size and clean. There is a walk-through closet to the bathroom with a safe, coffee bar area and luggage storage. A pocket door on either end. Bathroom had a tub/shower combo, bidet, toilet, and heated towel rack.

Two oversized twin beds. We asked for extra pillows. There was also a couch in the junior suite. Power options were a bit limited, even by the desk. No USB charging options at all.

The hotel is centrally located so you will hear and feel the rumble of the metro beneath La Rambla. It is slight, but you'll hear and feel it. If you're a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you.

Very easy to grab a taxi right by the entrance of the hotel. And of course, the metro is just up the road at Playa Catalunya.

I stayed here for 3 nights for vacation. My upgrade certificates cleared and was moved to a junior suite. The room is very spacious and clean. The bathroom is large with heated floor. There's a walk-in closet with lots storage. The only thing I wish they had were power plugs on the desk. There is one on the floor behind the desk, but it was a bit of hassle to get to. Maybe add a power bar on the desk so people can work if needed. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Breakfast was tasty with a large selection to choose from. Location is excellent if you like being a tourist and close to everything.

Very easy to grab a taxi right by the entrance of the hotel.

Me he alojado es este hotel una semana en una habitación con terraza que me ha encantado. El restaurante muy bueno y tiene una piscina que no la he probado pero tiene muy buena pinta.la localización no podría ser mejor y el servicio muy atento. Volveré la próxima vez que este en Barcelona.

, 50 minutos, lo íbamos reclamando y decía
que había una mesa grande cuando llego
la comida una hamburguesa súper quemada y el personal les era igual sobre toda la
Encargada Ana que era Antipatica pero cuando cambiaron los camareros a las 3
Eran muy amables
Solo había extranjeros que se veían que no
les gustaba algún plato porque también reclamaban

Distinguido hotel en el centro de la ciudad, en Les Rambles a escasos metros de la Font de Canaletes y a pocos minutos del Port Vell.
Con años de historia y habiéndose alojado en el multitud de personalidades y personajes, como los The Rolling Stones en su día.
El Restaurante 111 CENTONZE, forma parte del hotel y en el se pueden degustar deliciosos platos.

My husband and I stayed here during the first half of our visit in Barcelona. We cannot express enough gratitude to Rodrigo and his team. Aside from the exceptional customer service, they went above and beyond any hotel we've stayed in (worldwide) from getting us tickets for the Barca game, helping with a bag that the airline lost, to even helping with things outside of their scope of work (helping with a lost green card that was being shipped overseas)! We stayed in the W the last half of our trip, and were honestly sad that we switched because we enjoyed Le Meridien so much! Location was perfect for trouncing around to all of the local sites, and lots of great food choices close by as well. The Metro is steps outside the hotel, which allowed us to get to further away destinations in a fraction of the time. Our spanish is worse than terrible, but that didn't stop them all from making us feel so welcomed and cared for. I know when we come back for another visit, we will not be staying anywhere else but here!

We did a 2 night pre-cruise stopover at Le Meridian and were not disappointed. Great location right on La Rombla and a great location to experience the city. After a long flight from Canada, Fredericka on the front desk made our check in smooth and informative. We also chatted with Bruno at the concierge desk and hew was extremely helpful in orienting us to the area. The restaurant for breakfast offered a great selection and service was very good. Our room was upgraded by Fredericka at check in and it was a very nice, clean and comfortable room. We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again in a hearbeat.

A very enjoyable city break stay at this city centre hotel. It is perfectly located on La Rambla with many sites within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and Covid guidelines very much adhered to. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is continental with a varied selection. A good nights sleep is guaranteed in the very comfortable bed and linen. Did not avail of any of the hotel amenities but would return again for a short break.

Near a lot of stores and restaurants. Manger was very helpful with dinner spots and site seeing locations.

I will stay again when I visit Barcelona.

No me alojé en el hotel, sólo voy a referirme al restaurante. Tomamos el menú del día de 26 euros. El precio elevado pero la calidad del producto lo merece, y el servicio ofrecido por Rita, una chica mejicana, más todavía. El salmorejo de remolacha, el arroz de butifarra y alcachofas, la ensalada de berenjenas, la fruta cortada y la crema catalana sencillamente excelentes.

Loved the experience. Was hesitant to book it in first place because of location. In end, Was very impressed by the attentive service of hotel staff, the comfortable room, well maintained common areas and room amenities. I still find Las Ramblas a bit sketchy after dark but this time appreciatedthe easy access to Gothic Quarter restaurant scene. Will definitely be back.

The hotel was at an excellent location and the rooms were decent. The service wasn't as good as the other Le Meridien Hotels I visited. They don't give the breakfast complimentary for platinum guests, instead we can choose to skip the 1000 points welcome gift for breakfast. But overall it was a decent stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay here. The service from the staff is Superior! The concierge is a like a magician the way he had my boarding passes printed in less than 2 minutes. I was fooling around with the airline website for 15 minutes or more and couldn't get it to work. I go up stairs and ask the concierge, and 2 minutes later I had them in my hand. They hold the door f o r you and greet you when you enter. A class of service that has sadly been missing from the hotel industry for a while, but at Le Meridien is de rigueur.

The hallways are wide and spacious, the featherbed comforter a soothing delight. They really made us feel valued and welcomed.

Very nice hotel - excellent staff, very patient & helpful. Large shower, but slightly slow-draining (so used less water pressure). Commode sometimes difficult to flush. Great beds. Excellent breakfast.

Nice enough place but service is more 2-3 star then what it should be.

Alberto on the main desk wouldn't come out to see customers unless you shouted and then when he did come out he wouldn't book a taxi for you unless you paid €95 for a €12 fare.

The service is amateurish, impersonal and generally unwelcoming.

There are some exceptions. In the restaurant/bar they are good, the concierge is good. The cleaners ring your bell despite having DND on the door.

I'm a Marriott Platinum Premier member and quite frankly this is one of the worst hotels I've stayed in, from a service perspective. Location is good, the rooms are nice but if you want to feel welcome - go somewhere cheaper and not on La Rambla.

I was dissapointed. Spg service is good but property need refurb. Got an old room. Its in the most noisy location of bcn. You hear/feel the subway thru walls. Breakfast is less than average if you like anti-inflammatory foods.

I love this hotel! I stay here every time I am in BCN for work. The hotel is always immaculately clean, the rooms are well furnished and equipped, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast in the morning can’t be beat. As a platinum SPG member there is always a bottle of wine in my room to say thanks which no other property in the WORLD does.

Hotel Le Meridien has exeptional service. The entire staff is attentive and they go above and beyond expectations. The hotel is located in the heart of Las Ramblas which is supervised by plenty of Barceloa's local police. Shops and dinning are within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and will definately be coming back. Thank you for making this experience memorable.

The location is excellent for shopping and access to the gothic quarter. The room is well designed and comfortable with good air conditioning, an iron and board, safe and plenty of outlets. The wifi is good and free. The linens, towels and robes are great quality. Front desk staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is included and is plentiful and delicious. Rooms facing the back of the hotel are more quiet and having a room on a higher floor is no problem as the elevators work well!

Room and service were excellent. Food/beverage options lacking in an area where most hotels of this caliber have fantastic, hip offerings. Hotel on its own is what this rating is for and I would stay again for the prime location and service.
