Quiero compartir mi experiencia (muy corta) con esta inmobiliaria. Me contacto con ellos mediante una plataforma de anuncios de pisos ya que me interesó mucho un piso que tienen para alquiler; me llama por teléfono un chico llamado Pedro para informarme sobre los requerimientos para entrar al piso y me hace una serie de preguntas para ver si encajo con el perfil que el propietario busca; como conclusión me dice que todo estaría en orden pero que me va enviar un correo (el correo es el pantallazo que adjunto) con la información del piso o más bien, los requisitos para entrar al piso. Me llevo la sorpresa que esta “inmobiliaria” cobra 10% de honorarios + IVA por gestionar el contrato (algo que es completamente ILEGAL ya que así lo establece la Ley). Hablo con él y le digo que por qué realizan este cobro si esto ya no es permitido y la respuesta que me da es que ellos cobran esto porque se encargan de hacer el “check in”, aparte de eso; por dar el alta en los servicios y poco más, a lo cual le digo yo y le insisto que no es legal cobrar esto y su respuesta es que así trabajan ellos y que si no se hace de esta manera pues que no coja el piso y efectivamente eso es lo que haré ya que lo que hacen es disfrazar estos cobros con diferentes nombres y poder seguir forrándose a cuenta de los inquilinos.

He vendido un apartamento a través suyo. Todo el trato ha sido excelente desde el primer momento. De gran calidad el reportaje fotográfico y el video del anuncio. Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our first call when we reached out, he was very straightforward with us, explained how he works, how Lucas Fox works, and a lot about the neighborhoods we should be looking at. My wife and I were set on El Gotic/El Born because thats where you gravitate to as a tourist, but Nick was very helpful in explaining the downfalls of living in tourist destinations when you transition from tourist to resident. We spent about 1 or 2 months going back and forth digitally looking at properties until we nailed down about 9 or 10 to see in person. It was great walking through in person with him as he was detailed and also it didnt feel like some other agencies in Barcelona that want you, as an international buyer, to come in and make a purchase of the first thing they think you should buy. We narrowed down to 2 places and he really helped us make the final decision. He then went to bat for us in negotiating and got us a great price on our property that we are so thrilled to now call home!

Ps - he has given us a lot of food recommendations in the area so if you happen to be looking for properties with him, pick his brain on some food options as well!

Excellent service from this agency. The agents were very kind and never put any pressure during the visits. They speak English and have been helpful in dealing with the sellers, who were not always proficient in English. Contracts could be signed remotely via Docusign, and the team has been available to deal with unexpected problems. Highly recommending, with a special mention to Noemi. I would not hesitate to deal with them again for searching a property in Barcelona.

Right from the beginning Mark was attentive and keen to meet our needs. As well as being incredibly approachable and responsive to questions and queries, he also been of great help in managing conversations with the vendors, which has been a real gift when you are not a native speaker! Unlike some other experiences with estate agents, he never made us feel pressured and we have always felt we could trust that he had our best interests at heart. Had a very easy process to rent an apartment in Barcelona with Lucas Fox. Inge was an amazing agent who made sure that I knew everything that needed to be done.

Oksana did a fantastic job in helping me during my search for my first place to buy.

First she is very responsive and insightful about the property market. But most of all she developed a very good understanding of my needs and tailored the options to suit these as they evolved, without being too pushy. This meant that we were much more targeted and efficient in our search and minimised wasted time.

Unfortunately a very bad experience with Lucas Fox location Xabia handled by Emma. After the down payment of the reservation costs, the seller did not fulfill his agreements. He changed his agreements every time, which ultimately resulted in the sale not going through. We have now lost the reservation costs and no response at all from Lucas Fox and also not from the head office. Unfortunately, we also heard too late in the area that Lucas Fox Xabia already has a pretty bad reputation.

Lucas Fox was suppose to help me with buying an apartment in Barcelona, however I had to withdraw from the deal that seemed very sketchy and waisted 2 months of my time plus lawyers fee.

First my agent Nick Trafford amended the reservation offer without an approval from me in advance, which in hindsight should`ve been the first sign to back out.

The seller had ridiculous contingences when we started working with the arras contract.
Both my agent Nick and sellers agent Sergi Perez (same company representing both sides - again not a good sign usually) knew about the seller`s contingences from the beginning and chose not to disclose it. Instead, they pushed me to get a legal consul and hoped they`d smooth this issue afterwards.

Had the process been transparent, had they actually mentioned the seller`s contingences on the reservation contract (which is the norm in most countries) then none of us would`ve wasted so much time with their difficult seller. I don`t know how it is in Spain but in my country holding back such important information plus amending a written offer (which is forgery) would be reasons for both a legal complaint and a formal complaint with the Association of Real Estate.

So now I have to start the process all over again with 2 months of waisted time and unnecessary legal fees thanks to Lucas Fox.

Sadly my check out process was extremely badly handled. They failed to cancel my electricity contract which results in 500+ euros of expenses and failed to follow up with the owner to redeem it for me. Would not do business with them again.

Vivimos en el estranjero y buscabamos piso en Barcelona para segunda residencia. Nos atendio Alejandro Torres de Lucas Fox. No pudimos tener más suerte! Siguió el proceso hasta el último momento. Los comerciales de esta inmobiliaria en ves de estar por vender sus inmuebles se dedican a poner comentarios a la competencia. No entendemos por qué pero realizaron un comentario a otra empresa y pedimos que controlen las malas practicas de sus empleados.

Captaron mi piso buscando yo uno nuevo para mí. Al cabo de dos días el comercial ya no estaba en la empresa. Luego pasé por otros dos. Ninguno vino a visitar mi piso, tan sólo el fotógrafo. Como pueden vender un piso sin ni tan sólo verlo? Me trajeron tan sólo una visita y al cabo de 10 días me hicieron la devolución diciendo que los clientes buscaban un piso en finca nueva sobre plano. Vivo en una finca regia del centro de Barcelona y es de 1939. Para qué los traen, entonces, pregunté. En fin, les dije que dieran de baja mi anuncio antes de vencer el contrato. Además, la comisión es una de las más altas del mercado. Mi experiencia con ellos es nefasta. Muy poco profesionales y con rumbo perdido.

Nick has excellent communication skills. He is very personable and fun to hang out with, which really helps, because you can spend a lot of time together to view places. Nick is also extremely professional. He is very responsive by phone, texts, calls and email and always punctual. He listens to the needs and desires of his clients and tries to help find a place that suits them. He is supporting you, the buyer, not the seller. In addition, he's patient and kind through the process, even with someone who can be a bit difficult, like myself. Neither is he just trying to make a sale, nor is he pushy. In fact, Nick is very honest and trustworthy. The only thing he pushes for is negotiating for the best offer for his client. When he told me our offer was accepted for my gorgeous Spanish flat, to lower the price by thousands of Euros and put in a bathtub
(I need to have my spa moments), I screamed in joy and fell down in shock. I was literally floored by the deal he got me in just two days, much better than I expected! He goes way beyond the job description and assists with other parts of the process, such as recommendations, as he is very well connected in Barcelona. And he is knowledgeable about how to rent out your property, if that's a goal. Nick obviously enjoys his work and guiding people through their journey.
