El año pasado nosotros (una pareja alemana) pasamos un buen rato en la cosecha de aceitunas de Olaf & Maren. Vivíamos en nuestra casa móvil.
Su aceite de oliva cosechado a mano es el mejor del mundo. Lo llevamos a casa para nuestras necesidades y lo regalamos a buenos amigos.
Siempre disfrutamos de la naturaleza excepcionalmente hermosa.
Cada vez cogemos el tren para una excursión de un día a Barcelona o Valencia.
Nos encanta explorar la hermosa zona en bicicleta hasta el mar. El Delta del Ebro es ideal para practicar ciclismo.

Manna House is an state where you can isolate yourself from the world. With an extraordinary location among olive trees to be able to disconnect from the worries from everyday life, enjoy nature ansd silencie.
Very well received by Amanda and Simon’s know-how. Highly recommended to take a sunset bath after a nice walk among carob trees, The estay is highly recommended!

Have stayed here several times over the years and have seen the farm develop. Owners are very friendly and have excellent knowledge of the area.
Rooms and the Casita are beautifully presented but stay true to the ethos of the site. The surrounding grounds are spacious and well tended without the use of pesticides. We have a few meals provided by the owners that were absolutely delicious made with fresh produce locally sourced. We will revisit soon!

In a busy world to find quiet and dark night skies is rare, couple this with excellent hosts and fine food and you have Manna House. I have stayed at "Casa Manna" in high summer, Autumn and even in January each has its own charm: high summer was hot and had amazing thunder storms, Autumn was picking olives with people from all over the world and winter with short warm days relaxing and enjoying music and cold beer outside!
With a mountain background and the Ebro delta and coast only a few miles away there is an enormous variety of exploring on foot, bicycle and driving, in addition the local towns offer a variety of restaurants. Manna House is unique and well worth a visit.

I would just like take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed the hospitality at Manna House. The owners Simon and Amanda offer a unique experience of a warm traditional English welcome in a beautiful Catalan finca with its own casita and modern comfortable bed room units i a wonderful peaceful setting. The food and service is top class and as a bonus they sell their own eco pressed olive oil which is absolutely delish. I wholeheartedly recommend Manna House to everyone. Sarah Massie.

A tranquil spot up in the hills overlooking the rice fields and the Med, a restful place to de-compress, encounter nature, or just 'while-away' the hours with a good book and a chilled Cava. Easy access to Barcelona and other cities even more local, interesting spots to visit, and miles of beaches. Simple and comfortable accommodation, with hosts ready to help and advise on all aspects of your stay.

Ah Manna House! In a few words: our home away from home. We discovered Manna House, Amanda and Simon (and their lovely dogs) 5 years ago now and keep coming back for more. More peace of mind, more fun, more sun, more excellent food and more olives! Along the years, we have tested all the accommodations, the Barn and the Casita. They all are comfortable, very well maintained and very very clean, the decorations are perfect and the equipment of high quality. The property is perfectly located, away from the crowd but close to the beaches and mountains. Simon and Amanda are friendly, funny, smart and extremely knowledgeable about the area, the restaurants, bars, shops and life in Spain. The very low carbon footprint and the respect for the natural environment are remarkable. We only have praise for Manna House and we will back this summer.

This place is such a beautiful one.
There is everything you need to enjoy your stay, even without travelling arround. You can buy your cucumbers, potatos, tomatos and so on fresh from a local market or get some delicious cheese or salami from the weekly market just 10 minutes away. All in all: if you want, you can cook your daily meal with fresh ingredients every day.

If you want to hang arround and doing nothing than you can just sit in front of the house and enjoy the nature. There is no need for a clock.

The owners are very friendly and if you ask them, you may get a hard boccia match with them: P

You just have to follow some good rules:
- don´t waste water and electricity (they are self-sufficient)
- clean your House on your own
- be gentle to the people

Just have a look on your own, it´s no waste of time.

Our little family had such a wonderful time at Manna House. Our hosts Amanda and Simon were kind and attentive to our every need, within reason! The accommodation is comfortable and we enjoyed the finca and visiting the chickens. The surrounding area is great for site seeing and day trips. Highly recommended.

We've stayed twice at Manna House, and had a lovely family experience each time, different strands of family form all over the globe came to this lovely location to share time together. The shared kitchen with indoor sitting and dining room, a large dining patio area, a Petanque pitch and a small swimming pool aided the family atmosphere.
Along the meandering path bordered by pretty flowers were individual clean and welcoming double bedrooms with en-suites and patios which gave each person the space to relax.
The surrounding olive and almond trees added to the tranquility of the area.
The hosts Amanda and Simon were most welcoming.

Every year we (a German couple) spend some weeks with Simon and Amanda for the olive harvest. We adopted some trees. Their hand harvested olive oil is the best in the world. We take it home for our needs and give it away to good friends.
We always enjoy the extraordinarily beautiful nature and the hospitality of Simon and Amanda. She - as an English teacher, gave our son, who is a doctor in Germany, a few hours of English lessons before his stay in the USA. By the way: he caught huge fishes in the Ebro which gave us extraordinary meals prepared by Simon, who is a gastronomic expert.
Each time we take the train to Barcelona or Valencia for a day trip.
We love to explore the beautiful area by bike down to the sea. The Ebro Delta is ideal for cycling.
The social contacts with other guests are inspiring. We made friends from Ireland, England and France.

A mere 15 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea and nestled in a veritable olive forest, Manna House provides calming peace and quiet. The accommodations are clean, simple, lovely and comfortable. We liked the farm and its hosts, Amanda and Simon, so much that we went back a second time. We appreciate the very low carbon footprint achieved by their efforts and their respect for the olive trees and the natural environment. If that were not enough, they’re also delightful, friendly, funny people-and their olive oil is fabulous! We highly recommend Manna House and will happily go back next time we’re in Europe.

A gorgeous place to stay, we have had 3 wonderful holidays there 2 as a couple and 1 with our 3 sons and there partners. The hosts are lovely and friendly and have a good knowledge of the local area. Manna House is ideally placed about 6 miles from the nearest beach, which is beautiful. Lots of nice places to eat nearby as well. Easy to get to from Reus airport and Barcelona airport, following detailed instructions from Simon and Amanda. If looking for a peaceful and restful holiday can highly recommend Manna House.

We first stayed in the cosy casita at Manna House when we were renovating a property of our own in the area. It was perfect for the two of us and made the ideal, tranquil base to come back to after a day of working and negotiating with builders etc. Simon and Amanda were welcoming and informative and went out of their way to help us. Their local knowledge was invaluable to us, and much appreciated.
